I’m absolutely happy with my tattoo. I had almost my entire sleeve done in one day! I couldn’t recommend them more. They even took me to a restaurant so I could keep my energy up during the full day session. Truly an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to the team at Devil's own through friends, and I have to say they did not disappoint! Right from the get go of arranging a consultation for my design. Through the information gathering and understanding what I wanted out of the design and all of the key features that would make it truly pop, Kirsty was super insightful and made me feel very welcome to enable me to get what I wanted out of a design. At this point I have had my first session for my design and walking in to see how my design had been evolved by Elvis, into something better than I could have hoped for, I truly knew I waited for the right place. I had some minor adjustments that I wanted to the design and she accommodated them beautifully. My first session was epic; on the day I also had the pleasure to met both Nathan and Mason on the day who were very happy to chat away about anything and everything. Once I have a new idea of design I shall certainly be coming back and pointing anyone who asks towards the team, thanks again to you all, you’re awesome! I look forward to having the shading finished next session!

Fantastic experience: Hi. This is a message for Kirsty in the first instance, but just wanted to let you all know how amazing she is! I came to see Kirsty on the 21st November with the most painful daith piercing EVER! I had the piercing done approx 5 years ago (different piercing place) and it never healed! I had the biggest and most painful irritation bumps and was on the verge of just pulling it all out and letting it heal over. Kirsty took one look, gave some advice and changed the jewellery (ouch!) to what she felt was best. 11 days later… well Kirsty worked some serious magic here!!! ❤️❤️ literally had the irritation bumps disappear! I am due back to see Kirsty just before Christmas but wanted to show off how AMAZING she is and how much she helped me and my daith

Kirsty and the chap up front (sorry I didn’t catch your name) were incredible. Kirsty was patient, professional, and super friendly and easy to get on (also LOVE her tattoos). Fantastic experience: Honestly the friendliest tattoo studio I’ve ever been to, as soon as I got there I felt at ease. It’s 3 weeks until my wedding and I have a sleeve tattoo from another place that I was insecure about and Nathan instantly knew what to do to help improve it. He improved the main parts I was insecure about and my god, I’m just so pleased! I’m looking forward to coming back and getting it all done after the wedding. Cannot recommend Nathan enough, thank you so much :-)

Fantastic experience: Over the years I've had 4 tattoos done at devils own, first 3 by Nathan but my latest one was done by there guest artist daniel. I travel over from Wales so I wasn't able to go into the studio for a consultation, but dan was excellent and arranging everything through messages and over the phone, nothing was too much. The tattoo was designed by my daughter as a tribute to my dad so it was important that I wanted the tattoo as close to her design as possible, they didn't disappoint not much of the design had to be changed. On the day dan made me feel welcome and chatted away i felt as if I'd know him for years although it was the first time meeting him, he really is brilliant at his job. The studio had a relaxed atmosphere and all other artists there made me feel welcome and relaxed. The tattoo came out brilliant im really happy with the end result

Fantastic experience: After years of hesitation, I finally got my first tattoo in mid-February at Devil’s Own. Couldn’t be happier with how smoothly everything went. Welcoming staff, the perfect balance of professionalism and a sense of fun. Dan is the perfect front desk greeter/manager and Nathan did a great job turning my design into art, with all his years of experience. If you’re umming and aahing about taking the plunge, pop in for a chat and I’m sure they’ll sort you out.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a large ish cover up on the chest. Dan was great and gave me ideas for a style even better than I was thinking which I ended up going for. They managed to squeeze me in at short notice too. Almost 7hrs later and the tattoo was done. Everything was top notch & all the staff were very friendly. This is my second tattoo here now. Highly recommended. Will be back for more.

Fantastic experience: If you are thinking about getting a tattoo, this is the place to go. I had an amazing service from start to finish. My tattoo came out beautiful! The consultation was informative, they worked with me until I was happy. The day of the tattoo I was a little nervous but the guys made me feel relaxed when I got there… the attention to detail and overall knowledge is the best I have had so far! Definitely recommend ☺️

Fantastic experience: My friend and I had cheek piercings with Kirsty today and honestly I was amazed by her attention to detail and dedication to her craft! Cheek piercings are no small thing but Kirsty made us feel really calm and comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and the piercings were almost painless. Negative experience: Before I start this review, I’ve had a good experience regarding piercings (I had my nose pierced last year). Now onto my tattoo experience, I enquired about a hand tattoo 29/6/2023, I was going to get it done in September but I had to change the date and that was swiftly and easily done via a phone call. The day of my tattoo comes now on 7th December, the design Elva brings is nothing like what I discussed on 29/6, so they went and brought something that aligned with what I initially asked for and I mentioned I still wanted the tribal markings that I mentioned in the consultation in June, as you can see there aren’t any. The actual tattoo experience was fine but my issue is with the pricing and how the ink has come off after the tattoo (during the healing process). Looking back I should’ve asked to see healed work on darker skin because not everyone can tattoo dark skin for whatever reason but that doesn’t excuse this piece of a joke on my hand that I now need to get sorted elsewhere. So the price I was quoted in June was £450, on the day I was then paying via time, I later disputed this and said I was told it’d be a fixed price of £450, studio came back to say no they said it was based on time and an estimate 1) that’s not what I was told, I have very good memory I would’ve went elsewhere if it was going to cost more than £450, 2) if I was told it’d be per hour then I would’ve been told the hourly rate on the day of the consultation which I wasn’t, it’s in the T&C’s I signed a day before my December appointment but I agreed to a fixed price of £450 but that wasn’t what I paid and because they noted on the consultation form “£450 based on time,” they’re apparently right. This was meant to be a day session, I didn’t tap out once but for some reason we didn’t finish in a day. I was there from 9:30am, tattoo probably started at 9:45/10am due to the wrong design being brought to me and ended session around 3:45pm. I ended up paying a total of £545 (£225 deposit on 29/6, £180 on 7/12 for the first session, then a £70 deposit to finish the tattoo, then £70 on second and final session 18/1/2024 which was for the back of my forearm). From my experience I’m not happy, they do do touch ups but I shouldn’t have to be touching up a tattoo less than a month later, it being on the hand isn’t an excuse especially since even or my arm ink has come off. I’ve asked other tattoo artists and I have another tattoo which didn’t and doesn’t need a top up which is on my back- different skin type but still I’m not putting myself through pain to top up a tattoo that should have been done correctly in the first place, I’ve spoken to many people who have hand tattoos and they haven’t needed a top up within the first month or even year of it. In response to me saying the ink is coming off (this was before the second session), I was advised it’s because I didn’t use the cream they sold, so on my second session I bought what they recommended and the same thing occurred. In the future Devil’s Own should be crystal clear on the pricing and if they can, have conversations recorded and learn how to tattoo dark skin. (The first image was from the first session, the next 2 are the healing stage and the last ones are the tattoo completely healed… looking dull for 545 GBP) Response to the studio: At the appointment you presented a design I didn’t ask for and then I had to go over what I wanted again. I still wanted the tribal markings within the design and I said this. I was told it’d be £450 for the day, never was I told the hourly rate or that it was an estimate until after the first session. I don’t know how many times I must iterate this. On your side it says otherwise that doesn’t prove what I was told. You will obviously go off of what’s on your screen. And as I’ve already mentioned, a tattoo shouldn’t be peeling off after a month nor should it look this dull nor should I need a touch up a month after. I know a touch up is included in the price but I don’t know why I keep repeating myself as to why I’m not going to go back for one.

They helped immensely with designing and tattooing, and offered a free touch up. I've been to a few tattoo shops and this simply has to be the best and somewhere I will absolutely be returning. Fantastic experience: Kirsty is hands down the only piercer I trust. I've been stupid and been to two other places and she's had to fix what they messed up! Any piercing she's done has always been quick, clean, and easy. Girl's got talent for making holes! She's super lovely as well, so, you know, bonus. I've been having a pretty awful few weeks and so I've been panicky and anxious, and frankly super irritating with the questions and stuff - despite the fact she's absolutely rushed off her feet, she patiently answers every single one of my questions, I dunno how she has the patience. Expert and legend. Been in for a few tattoo sessions here. Paul did a great job with my very first tattoo and then a little addition some time later. Really friendly atmosphere, professional work and service. Everyone there is lovely, and really accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. Kirsty put me at ease and made me feel comfortable before she prepared to pierce my ears I'm 64 so it could have been traumatic . But it was a breeze. Kirsty talked me through everything she was about to do and before I knew it.I had 2 perfectly pierced ears.1week on my ears are fine no soreness or anything. I'm cleaning them with the saline spray Kirsty recommended and all is good. Thank lovely lady ,totally appreciate your help and patience. I would thoroughly recommend Kirsty at devil's own every day. Fantastic experience: Lovely place and I definitely do recommend going here if you ever need a piercing. I got refused by Kazbah and when I went here the woman that booked me in was super kind and immediately insisted I book an appointment for my piercing change because I needed one for school. They make sure to check if the customer is comfortable and they also make sure to sanitise the area before changing it. They care a lot for aftercare and the people there in general are a delight so I’ll definitely be returning again for when I want to get my bridge and other piercings done. I’m glad I found the place when I did!

Negative experience: Poor quality tattoos. Design I asked for was handwriting from a birthday card written by my grandmother. The first time it was tattooed the writing looked very fuzzy and parts were missing. I went back to have it touched up and the tattoo artist didn’t go over the same lines. Now the writing looks even more fuzzy and blurry. The letters look thicker and mismatched and not the same as the handwriting. I complained and they said to go back for another touch up. I don’t want to go back as I fear they will make it even worse. My tattoo looked as though it was 10 years old when it was only a couple of weeks old. I’m very disappointed as I am stuck with this on my body forever and it looks a mess.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a septum piercing by Kirsty, couldn’t be happier with the piercing. The shop itself has a great vibe, all the staff are super friendly and welcoming, Kirsty has a great attitude towards customers and made me feel at ease straight away , her apprentice is clearly in great hands and is a lovely guy! Fantastic experience: The best tattoo shop you’ll ever go to! Cannot fault the kindness of the staff or the skill. You’re given a warm covid safe welcome and the artists are some of the friendliest people I’ve met! Tattoo was fab and any touch ups I needed they were happy to do without hesitation and booked me in ASAP - as soon as they knew what design it was/where needed touching up (mine was a fine line ankle tattoo so a touch up was inevitable!) Would recommended to everyone. Shout out to Alan too. Making me feel so calm and checking I was ok with every detail before I left. - and the fab music!

Fantastic experience: From Dan and Kirsty pointing me in the right direction for my cover up tattoo, to the artistry of Elva completing my tat and ,kirsty Piercing my navel in a tea break and Ben making the best cup of tea and picking the perfect gem for my Piercing without even asking my experience has been fantastic. No they're not the cheapest , but you pay for what you get and I am more than satisfied. Professional, courteous and meticulously clean I cannot recommend Devils Own enough.
