Fantastic experience: I came in for a conch piercing and Mike was very helpful and honest, explaining to me it would not work with my ear how I would like and helped me consider a different piercing to keep with the look I wanted. I got a rook piercing and I am very happy with it! Mike also explained in detail about keeping it clean and recommending a check up in 5 weeks. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mike is the real deal he knows what he’s on about!! Came with a friend to get her rook pierced and had a look at my nose piercing I’d had done somewhere else and instantly sorted it, gave me excellent advice and a new stud. Felt in very safe hands thank you!! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: What superb and professional service! Mike was simply brilliant! I called on the off chance of an appointment and although being busy he squeezed me in. I’d previously had my Daith pierced elsewhere, it had given me nothing but grief, the piercing had come out and the hole had closed. Mike re positioned and pierced it, since then it’s been fab with no issues or complications. I will definitely be back for future piercings, he clearly knows his stuff I honestly cannot recommend him enough, cheers Mike.

Negative experience: I won't be returning here for piercings. I've had multiple ear piercings. 3 of them I had done here on the same day and every single one has developed a keloid lump. The conch keloid is small but the ones on my upper ear are really big and I'm being referred to have them frozen off. It has nothing to do with the self care because all my other piercings done by others are perfect. It felt rushed and he even commented on how much they bled so I firmly believe they weren't done very well.

The experience shows; the piercer was talking us through why he was using chosen methods to pierce, and also the products he was using. Very knowledgeable, and clearly highly experienced. My daughter's ears are healing very well. No infection, swelling or bruising. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Have been a repeat customer here for around 14 years. The service is always good and very friendly. Mike, the piercer, has always been amazing and gave me a great consultation about piercing placement. The actual piercings were very quick, and less painful than others I've had done in different shops. He was a few minutes late but gave me a piercing for free, so I definitely can't complain!

Fantastic experience: Visited Marks and Punctures recently to have an old belly button piercing from elsewhere looked at. Mike was a great help and explained what had gone wrong and how to fix it. He sorted it quickly and efficiently. My daughter has since been in to have belly button, nose and ear piercing and has always received a great service. Fantastic experience: I’ve just had my first tattoo at Marks & Punctures. Having done some research and shopped about I felt they provided me with great advice and helped me with design ideas too but more importantly an awesome final tattoo which I am really happy with. I will definately book in my next one once this one has healed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Mike for years for my piercings. He always makes time for you and discusses options before proceeding. I now have a teenage daughter and have also taken her to him on numerous occasions as I trust him 100%. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He always gives great advice. He won’t do anything without consulting first making sure you are happy to proceed. The staff are always friendly too when we go in. We will be back very soon as she now wants more piercings in ears and belly button.

Fantastic experience: I can’t fault the experience I had at marks and punctures today. I went in to have my ears re-pierced. The gentleman I saw quickly identified that my ears didn’t need re-piercing, just a little help with getting the studs in and he was able to easily fit some. This was all done free of charge instead of charging me for piercing again. He was gentle and it was done with no fuss but also making sure it didn’t cause me any discomfort. I will definitely return for any future piercings. 10 out of 10, I would highly recommend this business. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Got my nose pierced here but probably would have never done it anywhere else. I got my nose done a couple months ago and I can be difficult because I’m very afraid of pain- mark was very accommodating and managed to pierce my nose with no build up of fear and minimum pain. If I get a piercing it wi definitely be here !!!

Fantastic experience: Went to get my nose pierced and was told of an offer of 3 piercings for £60 so got my tragus and helix done too. He also put a bar back into my belly button for no charge. Amazing, friendly service. Very professional and clean. Will definitely recommend this place!!

Fantastic experience: Really helpful staff. Went in with an inbedded stud in my ear which was completely my own fault after having it pierced elsewhere. They took the earring out, cleaned it up & replaced the earring with a new stud & gave me advice on cleaning to limit infection chances. Then refused to take money. They saved me a trip to A & E and my piercing has stayed in tact! I will not mess around with new studs on my own again. Thank you Marks & Punctures!!!

Fantastic experience: Went to have a piercing looked at that had been done elsewhere and Mike was really helpful. It was badly infected and he explained how it should have been done, took it out and cleaned it all up. He also gave me aftercare advice that I didn't receive when I had it done originally. Told me to come back in a week so he could check it. I should have gone there in the first place and will definitely go there for all future piercings. Thanks Mike!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Mike 2 days ago to get a couple of ear piercings. Although I had an idea of what I wanted, as I was open to suggestions Mike went through the options available, what he thought would look good, and marked the placements for me to see and decide on. Choosing what I wanted was the hardest part, as the actual piercing process was great. My ears were pretty much pain free after a minute or two. And although I had some throbbing that evening, by the next day I had no pain at all. 2 days in, I have no pain, no swelling, and no redness. The aftercare process was explained thoroughly. I’m very happy with my piercing so far, and will definitely be going back when I’m ready to add more piercings.

Negative experience: Very rude staff. Came in here as friend wanted to book a piercing appointment. I asked where Manhattan ink was and they was like “they’re really bad” “we’ve had a lot of people come in and say how bad they are” “if you go there don’t come back here expecting us to fix their mistakes”. So much for businesses supporting other businesses. I would have booked my piercing there but after that not a chance
