Fantastic experience: Honestly the best experience. My daughter had her first ear piercings and it could have not gone any better. They were attentive, caring, professional, hygienic, and very thorough. For anyone reading this please always chose needle over gun, your kids ears deserve better.

Fantastic experience: I took my 14-year old daughter to get a second ear lobe piercing and a helix piercing. We were both thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of House of Iris staff. The premises looked clean. The lady at the front was very patient and helpful in assisting my daughter with choosing her earrings. During the piercing, my daughter was greatly reassured by the piercer first advising on the most aesthetically pleasing positioning for the piercing, then telling her what he was doing at each stage of the process so she wasn't surprised by sudden pain. The after-care process was also explained in detail which, again, was reassuring. Overall, I would highly recommend House of Iris for anyone who is getting a piercing, either adults or children.

Fantastic experience: Went in twice recently to House of Iris for one lobe and one helix piercing. Two different piercers, both brilliant, both called Chris/Chris. Gave good advice, listened and made the piercings themselves really quick and relatively painless. Special thanks to female Cris for finding the perfect place for a helix in a very tight spot - very skillful!

Fantastic experience: I didn’t booked for a piercing and turned up. On arrival the staff were really friendly and took time to chat. Simply scan the QR code and answer the questions. Hey presto, all booked!! The piercing was quick and the artist kept me occupied by talking to me. It’s not the first time I’ve been here so I knew what to expect. I won’t lie, a nipple piercing is sore but before you know it, it’s all done. It’s a skill the artist has. I’d recommend this studio.

Fantastic experience: I went in to fix a nose piercing I had done in another country, i bought a solid gold piercing from the shop to change it into, lady at the till was so nice and helpful with all the information and service, piercer was really professional and supportive, i passed out cause my blood sugar dropped from the pain of the jammed old piercing, gave me a sugary drink and helped me alot!! amazing place to get pierced imo

I recently started my tattoo journey with the wonderful Nikki, I enquired about an idea for a tattoo I wanted and she drew multiple options for me and tweaked it until I was 100% with the design and it was incredible. She clearly has a passion for her work and pays attention to every little detail. During the appointment, there is a friendly and comfortable environment, you can genuinely tell that the staff all value eachother. I will never go to another tattoo or piercing shop. I have also recently had piercings done by Chris after going to a dodgy shop for years, they healed extremely well and the professionalism during the appointment really helps you feel sure that you are being pierced right! Upon my arrival, I was greeted by two friendly members of staff, who were happy to answer my questions and took time to help me choose suitable jewellery for my piercing. I had a Medusa piercing today by Ricardo who explained the procedure to me , and took time to correctly map out the piercing placement. He was gentle from start to finish, and made me feel very comfortable. He explained the aftercare in great detail and answered any questions that I had. I recommend this studio to anyone looking for a premium piercing and tattoo service.

Fantastic experience: Been here for several piercings over the years. Daiths, Nostril, Septum, Conch and more! Great range of jewellery, Chris the piercer is always chatty and relaxed and Ruth really knows her stuff when it comes to jewellery.

Negative experience: The worst experience ever and I say this as a returning customer. I’ve had my nose pierced here multiple times by a so called “professional” piercer he knows who he is, and the mistakes have been serious enough that I can no longer call this place professional. First issue: He gave me a post that was far too long which caused the stud to constantly move. I developed a bump because of it. When I went back for help, instead of correcting it, he replaced it with a post so small that it SANK into my nose and literally got embedded and had to be taken out by a real professional. Number two, I told the piercer exactly where I wanted my nose piercing the first time getting it done, and he flat-out refused, claiming the spot moved too much. Yet somehow he turned around and pierced me directly in my crevice where it would move even more. EXTREMELY unprofessional. If a piercer that’s supposed to be a safe space can’t even hear their clients or understand basic proper placement, they shouldn’t be calling themself professional. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come. Then I went to another piercer and two of them were also confused by the placement and knew how off it was. They continued to even say he should have listened to my suggestion. His attitude is quite off too and I’ve come here with different people and they’ve all said the same without me saying anything. This is so upsetting because I’ve spent a lot of money here. As a piercer, should you not know better? And the lady at the front desk offered absolutely NO help. Just told me to go to another place. While yes I understand they had construction going on that day, she could have been more friendly about it. Overall such an upsetting experience as someone who used to love this place. Not welcoming at all. I wouldn’t advise anyone to come here. It’s a problem in the community to have tattoo artists who also claim to do piercings be the main piercer, and I notice this is a reoccurring problem. Trust me it shows. I wish I didn’t spend so much in a place that has no respect for its customers, accountability or real training.

Fantastic experience: Got given Misa for a tattoo and after a quick chat on WhatsApp I went in and met Misa in person. We had to readjust the position of the design second to my arm and Misa went above and beyond to get to the best solution. He also added some shading at the end to tie the whole design together. Looks awesome and I'm really happy with the result. Also, real clean and friendly environment so 5 starts.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend House of Iris more for their service and knowledge. I did a walk-in ear piercing appointment. Great variety of studs to choose from. I went for a mix and match set. They offer a plating service (£3 per item) so you can match what you select to other earrings you currently wear. You can also bring your own jewellery for a small service fee (which is totally fair) - they will need to sterilize it too. Pricing structure was clear and aftercare advice really comprehensive. Already planning my next visit.

Fantastic experience: I have used House of Iris on multiple occasions now for piercings in 2023/2024. I love my vertical labret then went back with my daughter to get her second pair of lobe piercings on her birthday today. I had seconds done too then inner conch and helix done also. Nothing but polite professionalism from reception to piercer. Beautiful selection of jewellery and if they don't have it, they can customise. Just been back again in 2025. My older daughter has just decided to have her ears pierced so often course we came to house of iris. I had to get something for myself too so got 2 nose piercings. As always Chris was fantastic. Love Ruth for helping with all the questions and jewelry choices. Will be back again soon for some more piercings

Fantastic experience: Fastest piercing I’ve ever had, was over so quick. I got a rook done with is a cartilage piercing and compared to my other cartilage piercing it barely hurt even though it was a trickier area with thicker cartilage. Have great prices too, strongly recommend.

So I was so extremely pleased to find the House of Iris where my daughter had a misaligned ear piercing re-pierced accurately and with no fuss by Chris. The staff we met at front of house were very friendly and I’m grateful to everyone for making the experience a happy occasion for me and my daughter to remember. I would not hesitate to recommend House of Iris for piercings, and wanted to mention that the range of earrings to choose from here is very extensive, you will be spoilt for choice. I’ve been thinking about having a tattoo for ages and if I was going to go anywhere to have one it’s definitely be here. My 8 year old son just had his ear pierced here and they were really caring and kind and sent him home with a certificate and a care package to look after his piercing. Highly recommend them.
