Fantastic experience: I have returned twice to the amazing Maria for eyebrows. She is a professional in every way. She analyses, measures, mixes colours and draws out the brows on your face. Then, you have a chance look. She explains the shape, the choice of colour and you're both are off to the races. I fell asleep this last time. In addition to skill and knowledge, Maria is very kind. Her shop is clean, organized and relaxing. If you have hesitated in the past about eyebrows, make an appointment. You won't regret it.

Negative experience: Edit: artist was brie, happened some time ago. I asked for a refund after we couldn't decide on a new design and was ignored. Little to late for a refund now If you make a deposit and then the person gets fired/quit you dont get your deposit back and get ignored through emails

Negative experience: I don’t like to be negative or rude I had to ask some people wether it was really worth leaving a bad review and everyone is telling me I should leave one AND ask for my money back although I won’t be asking for any compensation cause that seems unfair. I paid $150 for this tattoo and it was done in 40 minutes those are the only good things I have to say about my experience. I can’t find a single straight line in this whole tattoo it’s really frustrating. I have faith that not every artist in the shop will do such a poor job but Rastaroy definitely doesn’t live up to how some of the other reviews are describing him… I really should’ve said something about it as I was walking out but I don’t like being rude to people so I just didn’t mention that I was unhappy with the work that was done. I’m going to have to get the tattoo gone over and spend extra money that I shouldn’t have to spend I’m very unsatisfied with my experience here. Also yes the tattoo is still healing in the photo but again the lines are terrible.

Back then u could get a tattoo at that age . My eldest had his first one there at age 16 & turns 38 this month. Maria is impeccable about cleanliness throughout her whole shop . My sisters and I just had tattoos done at her new shop on Bowen Rd last week by Rasta Roy . He as well was terrific. Now that covid is done I will be booking another tattoo with Maria soon . Fantastic experience: I have spent countless hours over the past few months with Maria at labyrinth, and I am so happy that I chose to go with her for my Tattoo. It was a very large piece (Back, hip, thigh) that I wanted to get done and my back was a cover up of an old tattoo - and you cant even tell that there ever was one now!!! She was so creative, attentive and amazing. We turned my quick doodles into an incredible piece, and even as she was in the process of tattooing, she would take the time to consult and make changes to be creative with the tattoo itself. I would highly recommend getting a tattoo here, and I plan on going back for more. She was personable, funny and made me feel very comfortable through out the whole process. Her attention to detail and her commitment is out of this world, she is very impressive. Fantastic experience: I have had the great pleasure of working with Maria and this business over the past year to design, and tattoo a full sleeve tattoo. Some of the artwork was very detailed, and specific. I could not be happier with not only the tattoo end result but also the Maria and the business. Over the year, I have many sessions ranging from a few hours to several hours. This was not my first tattoo experience but definitely my favorite so far. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone looking for some new ink.

Negative experience: Where do we even begin with this. Yes they are a 4.8/5 on google. But knowing others who have left 1-star reviews that are no longer available is absurd. If you look at these low reviews you can see the owners responses aren't exactly the best/the most kind especially when it comes to fair points (being told to do an Epson salt soak). One thing in particular is the owner starting their 24 years of experience and stating they recommend the piercing Bible even mentioning the author by name (Elayne Angel). This was released in the early 2000's but has since been revised and released in 2021 by Elayne Angel and Jeff Saunders. Given their "experience and professionalism" they should know to keep up to date and recommending the best for their clientele. But knowing things such as them using stainless steel jewellery and saying to use Epson salts for healing is very misleading and will lead to future problems. Not to mention them claiming different areas of the body will take "longer" for healing, specifically ditch areas. This is just false, yes the skin is thinner in these areas but that does not change healing length. The area is definitely more annoying to heal such as itchiness but it will heal the same time you get your forearm tattooed if they're done at the same time. Also telling someone to avoid using moisturizer on a new tattoo is ridiculous.

Negative experience: Pierces with externally threaded stainless steel jewelry, limited selection. If they have anything else they keep it a well hidden secret. If you are not satisfied they will send you pictures out of the piercing bible about basic piercing care and troubleshooting. Their methods are tragically outdated. They told both of us to soak our piercings with epsom salts. I had to take my piercing to a different piercer to see what could be done to correct it, and multiple piercers commented the poor piercing placement, terrible jewelry choice, AND poor aftercare suggestions that I received. The other piercers also guarantee their basic piercings. And as you can tell from the responses to the other less than flattering reviews: if you disagree with Maria the customer service immediately goes down the drain.

Fantastic experience: Heck to the yes!!! I am so glad I went to see Rasta Roy, after all the great things I've heard and the work I've seen, i am not disappointed!!! I will definitely be going back for more! Most pleasant tattoo experience thus far!

Negative experience: I've never had a tattoo so poorly done before. Maria dug the needle so far into my skin that it has left scarring now. The healing process was terrible and because of how deep she went with the needle it got infected. I dont reccomend. I will now have to wait and see if this scarring goes down and get it touched by an artist who is lighter on the needle.

When I first phoned for information, Christine was very personable and informative which led me to make an appointment. Maria took time to analyze my features, learn exactly the shape of eyebrows I wanted, explained what to expect through the whole process, and sent written follow up instructions to take home afterward for the best results. She was personable and very particular with everything she did which gave me confidence in her ability and happy with the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend her service for permanent makeup.

Fantastic experience: I had some permanent makeup done by Maria. Let me tell you, it can be scary getting permanent tattoos on the face! However, Labyrinth Tattoos was recommended to me by a local establishment. They really know their business! I was greeted on time in a very pleasant and professional manner. The premises are very clean (especially now with COVID, I was even given little booties to put on over my shoes! That's a first!). Since I don't normally wear makeup, Maria had to guide me along. She never appeared rushed, or bothered by my indecisions. I got lots of compliments on her work, so I was reluctant to ask for a "touch-up". Maria spent 1 1/2 hours on my "touch-up", making sure I was 100% satisfied! She went above and beyond, and I can't thank her enough!
