I game And spoke to Yaya and she help me get it repierced with the correct jewelry ! Definitely recommend this place. Come here first if you want it to be correct the first time’

Experiencia negativa: I've gotten two tattoos here, the first one was tiny and healed beautifully, the second one is dubious. The guy I was with (don't know his name), dry rubbed the tat the entire time which caused the skin to become SUPER angry and the scabs to be insanely risen on the skin. Also didn't give me second skin for the tattoo, which was like 2.5 inches and had some shading. Didn't give ANY info on aftercare at all, either. Most likely will not be returning.

Experiencia negativa: botched a matching tattoo i was getting with my sister made an error in both of ours. and they didn’t even end up matching at all. Would not recommend this shop. They also used the incorrect jewelry on my sisters piercing (curved instead of straight bar) which lead to a bad healing and it still has a bump months later.

Experiencia negativa: Did good tattoos on my friends. The piercer tried to pierce me with a larger gauge than what is standard for helix piercings for some reason and when I asked about it, she seemed annoyed. I eventually got the right size and the piercing was okay but they're not even on both sides and she took longer than usual to get the needle through. Wouldn't be back for a piercing but the tattoos here look good.

Experiencia negativa: unfair service. on their discount days, every artist will only do specific pieces and TINY no bigger than 1-2inches meanwhile one specific artist does HUGE half arm pieces for the SAME PRICE! absolute scam and unfair business

Experiencia negativa: made an APPOINTMENT with Carlos, in which he took a walk in AS I WAS ON MY WAY TO THE SHOP!!! then RAISED HIS VOICE AT ME when i called and asked what the plan was "I CANT TATTOO IF IM ON THE PHONE" . i called once. THEN the shop texted me, basically saying it was my fault because i didnt pay a deposit THAT NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT!!!! i've been a regular at ink wolves for years now, and this behavior is beyond me.. i will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: Got snakebite piercings here on $20 piercings tuesday! It’s $120 normally but they discount both piercings $20, so $80! Yaya (the piercer) was super nice and professional and the piercing went well as well! Also she gives out lolipops which also is a plus. One thing though, I’d say make an appt on the discount Tuesdays, it’s extremely busy. I waited about 2 hoursish for my piercings as I was a walk in during the Tuesday, but other than that, great place! Super nice/friendly, good atmosphere, and I’m happy woth my piercing!

Experiencia fantástica: this is my second tattoo at this lovely shop. it is a self harm cover up and everything was professional and clean. super laid back and chill. i went in there w/ no appointment on July 4th and only had to wait about an hour for the other customers to finish. paid $300 for a very detailed and well done tattoo. took roughly two and a half hours. seth is great! yaya has done my piercings in the past. love the staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Tampa for my birthday for a concert and the next day my group decided we should all get tattoos. We found Ink wolves and luckily it was $20 tattoo Tuesday that day. Everybody was friendly and welcoming plus all my questions were answered without an issue. It was my first time getting a tattoo so I was extremely nervous but Carlos was super cool and understanding, he made the experience 10 time better. I love how my tattoos came out! I would literally come back to Tampa just to get tattooed here again.

Experiencia negativa: I went to this establishment today 4/30/2024 to get the $20 tattoo deal with 3 of my friends. When we first walked in, the receptionist with jet black hair, drawn on eyebrows, hispanic but she was white passing didn't greet us and just told us to fill out the forms outside. My first friend went to get her consultation with Seth, and he was very kind, making jokes with us and his work was done very well. My other friend and I were gonna get matching tattoos (very similar tattoos) and while she was consulting with Seth, the receptionist put me with another tattoo artist but she was the one consulting me, not the tattoo artist. I was showing the art that I wanted to the artist, but the receptionist took over the conversation and told me it would be $70 for the tattoo i wanted (see attached). She, the receptionist, said each star was $20 and shading was $10. The placement was supposed to be on the upper right part of my wrist, which is very small and I explained that each star would be really small but she still said each star is $20. Seth charged my friend with the matching tattoo $30 and her placement was on the back of your ear while mine was on my arm. Seth charged my friend an extra $10 because the placement wasn't included in the deal, though if she got her tattoo on her arm he would have done it for $20. After hearing this, my friend who was wanting to get our matching tattoo came over so we could consult with Seth to see how much he would charge, but the receptionist interrupted and told Seth that we can't change the $70 price. My friend said "we aren't trying to change the price, we're just confused about the consultation" and the RECEPTIONIST said "i already explained the prices to her (me)" with an attitude. We were the only people of color/ only dark skin people in there so it seemed like she was calling us cheap and insinuating that we didn't wanna pay her "fair" price even though HER pricing was definitely inflated. This whole situation was really suspicious and it just seems like she is messing around with the other tattoo artist I was consulting with or she has some familial relationship with him and that's why she was trying to charge me such a high price when my friend with the same tattoo got charged less than half of my consultation. The receptionist and my tattoo artist were also speaking to each other in spanish the whole time so it could be construed that they were talking about charging me a higher price for such a simple design. After we left we decided to call so we could get her name to leave a review, but when we asked for her name she ignored the question multiple times and when we asked her name a final time she said "i don't have a name." We were all shocked at this response because a receptionist should not be acting this way so we hung up. She then called back telling us her name is "Naomi." We are not completely sure if the receptionists real name is Naomi or if she lying. I just want to clarify Seth was a great tattoo artist to my friends and I wish he could have done mine. If Seth is employed somewhere else I will definitely be seeing him, but I will not go to ink wolves again. If you plan on going, be prepared to be given attitude from the receptionist.

Experiencia negativa: I have several white scars in my fully colored tattoo that I was charged $400 for. Not very happy! The white spots are not white ink they are scars!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was very nice. The shop is super clean. My piercings were done perfect and the piercer was the sweetest!

Experiencia negativa: Any professional piercer that I have talked to in the surrounding area sees this tattoo/piercing parlor as a joke with very questionable ethics. Pierced my nostril with a stud as big as the bar itself and would never heal properly because it was quite literally sinking into my nostril. I have had a skin allergy to certain types of metals all my life and when I told Yaya this she tried to gaslight me into believing I did not. It took an unnecessary amount of convincing for her to allow me to be pierced with titanium, her even telling me that we will be using surgical steel after I told her I am allergic to steel. Eventually had to get it removed a few months later because my scar tissue grew over my piercing.

Hey ask me how soon I wanted this and I said well today if possible and I walked out of there a couple hours later with ink. I would definitely go back to this place. When I was first looking for tattoo parlors when I saw the ink wolves tattoos I said well that's got to be it.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been getting tattooed by Carlos for years, as well as recommended him to several friends, no one’s ever been disappointed. I did get a few from another artist while Carlos was away that were a bit off of the designs I gave him to trace, and maybe a bit heavy handed, but he’s not there so water under the bridge (plus they were cheap so I can’t really complain). Don’t come on $20 Tuesdays if you’re looking to get an entire sleeve for $20, be a reasonable person. I’ve gotten my nose pierced here as well, I have incredibly sensitive skin and this is my only piercing that didn’t get infected right off the bat. I’m not sure who the piercer was but I’m certain she’s still there, would totally recommend. The costumer service is fun. Just be self aware.

Experiencia negativa: Ive come in here several times and gotten tattoos on $20 Tatt Tuesday but this last time was disappointing. I got a Neck tattoo done by Seth, I came in a week prior and was told my design would only be around $40, which is fine because it was a bit bigger than the $20 tattoo range, but when it came time for me getting the tattoo done I was quoted $80. Wasnt a problem I had the money on hand, just more than I expected it to be as I hadnt changed anything about the design. Im not certain if some of the artists aren’t familiar with tattooing on darker complexions but my tattoo is not there anymore. I did everything I needed to to make sure it was healing correctly, but when I look at it now I only see the corners of the tattoo and nothing in between. I was told to come in and they would be able to retouch it, but im not confident in their ability to tattoo darker complexions. They did not go deep enough.I dont know if ill be coming back

Experiencia fantástica: Finally came on here to leave yaya a 5 star! I’ve only had my lobe’s pierced and I always have negative reactions to needles. But I had wanted my navel pierced for months, spent lots of time researching on the piercing, with the suspicion the way my navel is shaped I may not even be able to get the piercing I wanted. But me and a friend went anyway and were told the most common navel piercing I wasn’t necessarily eligible for, which I appreciated instead of doing it anyway and then the piercing gets rejected months later. We got a bottom navel piercing done instead. She sterilized EVERYTHING, washed her hands several times and put up with the thousand questions I asked her. Before the piercing even took place i had already felt like fainting but she was understanding about it and was patient with me the whole time. she made sure to provide as much comfort as possible. From what I could tell the other staff members were also very friendly! And before I left I bought a piece of jewelry!

Experiencia negativa: Ive came to ink wolves a few times and it had always been great. One time for my biggest tattoo and then a few times for $20 Tuesday's. 99% of my tattoos are from Carlos who is an amazing tattoo artist and a really great guy. Today I came in for $20 Tattoos and my first piercing and there was this receptionist guy we had never seen before today. He didnt greet us at all he just said "if youre here for tattoos/piercings everything is outside" and my mom and i walked outside, filled out our forms and brought them in. We then politely asked how long did he think itd be before us because we were gonna go get starbucks and he said "i dont know. We will get to you when we get to you" and a very rude tone so me and my mom decided to sit down inside for a second because he told me i would be next up for a piercing since she didnt have anyone to pierce. He then told us we needed to go outside because there were people waiting before us and we couldnt "just sit inside when it isnt our turn" so my mom went outside and i stayed in since i was getting pierced. and he then said "you too, go outside" and i said "you said i was going to be next" and he said "i wasnt even talking to you, you two (me and the other girl waiting to be pierced[even though he said i was next]) just look alike, go outside and wait" so i went outside and me and my mom thought itd be best just to leave, so unless i have an appointment with carlos or the new front desk guy isnt there, i wont be coming back to ink wolves. I work in retail in im not one to write bad reviews, the customer service was just bad.

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t typically leave reviews, but it feels warranted and necessary. I’ve been coming into the shop on and off for about 6 years, and I’ve seen a solid rotation of artists. Carlos did one of my favorite leg pieces, and is killing it lately. The fact that $20 Tuesdays are still a thing, blows my mind- it’s generous, but it’s also a stressful day for the artists. They power through it, they give you clean lines, they try to make your time in their chair count. But the most important reason I’m here, is to say “thank you” to Clyde. Dude has been working on a coverup for my arm for a few weeks and I’ve been silently praising him like Allah because he’s taking his time and putting in the WORK. He’s bouncing ideas, working with my agitated skin, envisioning the future work we can do- he has a steady hand, clean lines (not even a little bit heavy-handed, which means lasting longer in the chair). My mans cares about his craft and you can see it by the effort he puts in. I’ve been consistently blown away and grateful. Seth should be proud of his young Jedi. You’ve all done well and I’m proud to share your contacts with anyone asking for an artist. Thanks for helping cover up my mistakes with real art, Clyde.

Experiencia negativa: Been here a few times and honestly their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced in a while. Bought an earring and the cashier wouldn’t help me screw the end off without charging $20… Absolutely ridiculous, just needed a hand with screwing off a small ball at the end of my earring but she kept insisting I spend $20 for her “services”. The other times I’ve been here the service has been lacklustre but nothing to really write home about, this whole experience with this earring really took the cake though. The environment is so hostile and uninviting. Honestly made me so uncomfortable and not want to come back again.

The area of the tattoo never actually got wiped down they just slapped the stencil on and started the tattoo. I asked for thicker lines and they didn't listen. If the original artist who was helping me would've finished with me I would've been happy but they switch artist on me right before the tattoo... And I came home and took a shower and the ink from one of the letters completely wased off... Definitely gonna need a cover up...

Experiencia negativa: Went here with for a septum piercing. The piercer seemed to be in a rush the whole time. I’ve been wanting my septum for awhile so I was determined to get it anyways. After about 2 days with the piercing, I notice there was a lot of pressure of the side of my nose to the point I could feel my pulse. I was getting cornered so I went to a different piercer and the first thing they notice was it was pierced too low and was not going to end well. They removed the jewelry for me and I had instant relief. Would not recommend coming here for a piercing, unprofessional and a waste of money.

Experiencia negativa: Some lady with mint green hair wouldnt let us in and they were open didnt say a way word to us and just left . horrible customer service we were coming in today for piercings .

Experiencia fantástica: I love this tattoo shop, I went for the 1st time in March of this year wanted 3 tattoos an I must say I found the RIGHT shop cuz the pricing was affordable cuz I been to a few tattoo shops they tried charging me an arm an a leg but I’m glad I found Ink Wolves, if you all want a bomb tattoo ask for Derrick, he was super cool, funny, an tatted exactly what I wanted I’ll definitely will go back in the future if I want more tattoos HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: definitely a better tattoo place than to get piercings. i went to get my first nose piercing and there was a line of one person piercing everyone tryna go as quickly as possible. There was not more than 5 words said and they didn’t tell me how to clean it or anything. I used saline solution after looking it up and 2 weeks later my nose piercing got badly infected and turned purple. It fell out multiple to where i couldn’t put it back in and now i have to wait to get it pierced again. My friends got her forward helix pierced and the jewelry was a long curved piercing that was not good at all because they both fell out. Not mad at the place or anything just definitely wasn’t the best piercing experience

Experiencia fantástica: Got my nose pierced on Friday with Yaya and she was greattttt! Super patient, knowledgeable and informative about everything I was asking her. Adonis at the front was super friendly too and chatted with me and my cousin. This was such a chill spot and I definitely will go back for my next piercing. Thank you Yaya and Adonis for being so good to my cousin and I.

Experiencia negativa: The fat over weight Caucasian tattoo artist with brown hair was VERY rude and disrespectful! I was very excited to get my first tattoo and his attitude literally killed that 4 me I will definitely be letting my friends know not to come here

Experiencia fantástica: Yaya was the best piercer I could’ve ever hoped for! She was super nice and chill so it helped calm my first-time nerves. I’d go with her for all my piercings!

Experiencia negativa: They scammed me when I was there. I called about their $20 piercings on the second Tuesday of each month to confirm the deal. Then when I got there in person I confirmed again to make sure the piercings I was getting (3 ear piercings) were $20 each. The guy at the front was super dismissive (barely looked at me and just kept watching a video on his phone while I would wait for a response). Then after having me do all of the paperwork and waiting outside in the heat, when they got to me they said it would be $35 for one set of earrings (so that brought my total to $65 which I paid for). But AFTER I got my ears pierced she said that it was actually $30 for each earring! (Bringing my total to $90 instead of the $60 I had confirmed twice). It was extremely frustrating.
