Experiencia positiva: I’ve gotten a few piercings here before (my tragus, both nostrils, and conch). All of them were great except for my tragus. It was pierced with a hoop instead of a stud and it ended up getting keloids and eventually rejecting. A few years later, I ended up relocating to Baltimore and getting my tragus repierced. It has healed perfectly and I was told that it should’ve never been pierced with a hoop initially.

Experiencia fantástica: Dan G. did an amazing job on my helical rim piercing. He was very smooth with the piercing and thorough regarding aftercare. I literally barely felt it and it healed very fast.

Experiencia negativa: I liked that the woman at the front desk spoke as I came in but I had a bad experience with Dan. He was carrying a gun in the back of his pants which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. He was watching me as if I was going to steal. Overall Dan was unprofessional, has no manners. I miss the other piercers. This will be my last time here.

Experiencia negativa: got a disco ball tattooed here by an artist that claimed they did well with fine line. this is it freshly done and a year and a half later. finally went to another shop today to have it fixed up and reworked due to how uneven the lines are and how faded it’s become over the last year and a half. much happier with it now from another place. i haven’t ever had issues with any of my other tattoos which still look great 3+ years later. expensive prices for something that didn’t even stay :(

Experiencia negativa: Not only was Becca unprofessional but also exceptionally unwelcoming. I came in as a walk-in and when she came out she didn't even welcome me but just stood there and stared at me until I got up and showed her what I wanted. Once I told her where I wanted the tattoo placed on my bikini line, she basically refused to do the tattoo and was mumbling the whole time, then said she would do it for 250. I don't know what she was on but I will most definitley not be coming back here.

Experiencia fantástica: CHAD! He is the best person ever. Best artist. Very awesome sauce. Everything and everyone was awesome. It was like the lego movie. One man dropped his pants to show us his dope Snoop tat. I was given friendship bracelets. Stars. Beauty. No pants were needed, just good times. One day, I want to turn into a duck and live on Chad’s shelf. God Chad’s so cool.

Experiencia fantástica: Jay at Capital City Tattooz is amazing! I saw him for the first time during the Friday the 13th flash sale they had and he was so fast and accurate with his work. He also kept a very clean and sanitary workplace. I had to come back and get an additional piece by him. He actually freehanded it and the piece turned out perfect. Both of them were fine line tattoos with super straight lines and one had a perfect circle. I would absolutely recommend him if you are looking for a tattoo artist. I will definitely be back to see him in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I have visited them multiple times and it’s always a great experience! However, the usual front desk lady no longer works there and I wasn’t pleased with the new person. As for getting tattooed, Juanita and Chad were both amazing. They both made you feel comfortable and like you were just hanging out with friends and the tattoos look great! Love this place! They just need a better front desk person.

Experiencia fantástica: Dan is the single best piercer I've ever experienced He's calm, patient, and confident, and he's really good at making me laugh. I had to have my eyebrow re-pierced after being screwed over by someone else previously, and I've never seen such precision. He even had accommodations for when I was nervous and a stimming toy that I could squeeze. I've come to Dan with every piercing need since and I have no regrets.

He charged me for the tapering and jewelry, so I didn’t have to pay the price of an actual piercing session. He was so gentle and kind. Experiencia positiva: I've gotten two tattoos here. The first one was very poorly done and it's blown out in a number of spots, so I was hesitant to go back. But I reached out to Lyn to get an edited version of one of their designs and it was beautifully done plus they added extra detail with out upcharging me. I had some minor issues, hence the 4 stars but I would definitely go back to Cap City for another tattoo.

Experiencia fantástica: Ok so im biased cause i kinda have a lil crush for hunter bro, but he is legit the gentlest hands in Tallahassee. Even better than BINK. He pierced my monroe initially, has had to change balls for me numerous times, and he had to put a new bar in for je yesterday due to a hospital losing my jewelry. He stretched a 16g to a 14g also and i felt nothing, ( well aside from babbling nervously because his energy and vibe, makes you just want to pack him up in your pocket LOL and take him wherever you go.) Also for tattoos, Chelsea Amara drew out a design for me based on what all I wanted and when she applied it she was the most gentle and light handed tattoo artist I've ever used. She is very quick as well. Her tattoo is my favorite tattoo amongst all my ink hands down

Experiencia fantástica: If you need anything piercing related, go see Aiden. I had a piercing done somewhere else 6 weeks ago, and it was still extremely painful. Stopped in and talked to Aiden. He saw what the problem was and replaced the jewelry with something more suitable. I went in unable to stand anything touching my ear and came out already in significantly less pain. Give it a couple days to heal, and I’ll be pain-free for the first time in a month and a half! Also, he was very gentle and understanding of the existing soreness. I was terrified, but the process of changing the jewelry wasn’t even painful. He was amazing!

Also check out their tattoo artists on insta. Amazing work!!!! Edit: 3/20/23: went back to see Dan 3/19 for my Daith. With the placement it’s one of those piercings that you can’t really see placement and requires the trust of the piercer. I had zero hesitation. Love the results! I will be back for more. On 3/20 I came back to see kody. Hilarious, quick and beautifully done! Cannot wait to see the customer piece we talked about ❤️

My friends and I did the Friday the 13th coin flip deal, and although the wait was long, the staff regularly checked on us to make sure everyone was doing alright outside. They had a lot of accommodation and good vibes inside the shop, and towards the end of the night the owner brought pizza for customers. The staff were all professional and kind, and my friends and I love the way our tattoos turned out! Definitely recommend checking it out.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve gotten 3 piercings here and had a different piercer each time but each experience was amazing! Dan pierced my conch, my friend’s conch, and my other friend’s nostril on the same day and he made the piercing process nerve-free and fun. I came back months later with one of my friends and Patience pierced us. She also kept everything light and fun - I got my rook pierced and my friend got her daith pierced. I went back today to get my nostril pierced and Aiden (sorry if I misspelled his name) was so wonderful! All three of my piercings were fast and as painless as possible. Will definitely continue to get my piercings done here. :)

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve come in once before to get my nose piercing checked out because it had a bump (I got it pierced at a different location). Aiden checked me out and he was super nice and showed me the additional step that I should take to clean my piercing. Since I was treated so nicely by staff during my first visit, I decided to impulsively get a tattoo done here. I came in not really knowing what I wanted, but after looking at a couple flashes I decided to get a chrysanthemum for my birth month. Taylor Bales did my tattoo and I told her that my first tattoo experience was super painful. I also let her know that I was afraid of needles. Her personality and the way she talked to me throughout the whole thing changed the way I viewed the tattoo process. It was a really positive experience for me and she let me stretch and take quick breaks when I needed to. I had such a good experience with this tattoo that I plan on getting another one done by her. I strongly recommend getting your tattoos done here especially if it’s your first time. *I took this pic two days after I got the tattoo so it is still healing. The peeling you may see if you look close enough is part of the healing process.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't thank Hunter enough for taking care of an uneven bilateral nostril piercing for me!! I went to another shop to get the original piercings and they made them so uneven. I was so disappointed. I came to this place just hoping to get a hoop put in one side to help the esthetics and Hunter advised that it would not heal properly. He said he could re-pierce one side to make it even so I went with that option and I am super happy with the skill he projected in my piercing! He fixed it!! It turned my day around totally and I immediately felt better! Thanks a million Hunter!! There should be a big neon sign that says Hunter is the best in the window at this place!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in not knowing if I would have to get my left nipple pierced again because the hole had felt as if it closed up after two hours without the jewelry being in. Patience helped me out as soon as I got there. They explained why the hole was quick to heal but assured me I would not have to go through that process again. Patience resized my hole in like 5 min and I went on about my day. Beautiful service 10/10 would go again!

I went to Devyn for my first tattoo and she was very professional and sweet. If you are looking for a floral design, I highly recommend Devyn! I went to Kody for my second tattoo and he was very chill and nice. Very funny guy! It was easy to set an appointment both times, and I would definitely recommend either of these artists. Both took about 20 minutes, and the lines and shading are very precise. Took great care to keep the shop and materials clean and sterile. Overall a great tattoo experience!

Experiencia negativa: I had gone in back in October and had my tragus pierced, it was all good really, the piercer was really nice and the piercing was doing fairly well and was healing just fine. However, once returning home I went to my piercer that I usually go to at a strictly piercing place, and I had intentions of swapping the jewelry out. They took a look at my piercing and told me to take it out immediately. They said it was pierced too shallow and that even if it was healing fine, in time my ear would reject it bc of how it was pierced. I explained how it was pierced, almost like a hole punch in my ear, and they were mortified because it should have been done with a needle and that explained why it was so shallow. So I ended up wasting around $80 on a poorly done piercing. I would not recommend this place if one were to get a tragus piercing, but I have not gotten any other services done here but i’ve had friends that have gone and their standard lobe, nose, etc piercings are just fine, they just pierced the tragus in a different way that could cause issues, even if they told me that that method was actually “better”, should have known then and there that a method I had never heard of probably wasn’t the best bet. I also don’t really like the fact that you have to pay before the service is done, so keep that in mind if you go here!

Experiencia fantástica: Called for a last minute tattoo, full sleeve. Taylor was my artist and the tattoo came out amazing. She is awesome, professional and made a 21 hours session all in one sit a pleasant experience. Totally recommend Taylor for Japanese/Chinese art she is amazing.

Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and Dan (the guy who pierced my septum) ensured I was aware of every step of the process. They were very thorough when telling me how to care for my piercing. They only use the best products, and are very thorough in making sure you know how to take care of any piercings or tattoos, and are always accommodating about any confusion or circumstance. Everyone here is also very kind and has the customers’ best interest in mind. Will be coming back for any other piercings or tattoos I plan on getting in the future.

Experiencia negativa: I came here for a piercing a few months back, got my septum pierced by Dan and had an awful experience. First, my piercing isn't even close to being properly placed, it goes through the cartilage at the base of my nostrils, way lower than it should be. This being my first piercing, I didn't know any better, but recently I've had it assessed by a real professional who agreed. Dan made comments about how much he hated the tools he was using, how it liked to pinch, and he could never get a grip on it. It made me uncomfortable but I let it slide, thinking it could be a bad joke, again first piercing. Then he must have missed or messed up, because he had to stick the same needle in twice. Once he finally got the needle all the way through my nose, it started bleeding like a faucet. Dan even said something along the lines of "Well that's not supposed to happen." No, really?! Could have fooled me. I don't recommend people come here for piercings, they mess up and hope you are dumb enough to not notice. I payed for professional work, but got results akin to a drunk friend with a needle going "I got you bro!" in the kitchen at 3am. No real professional would have allowed this to walk out of their studio.

Experiencia fantástica: Kody is honestly the best tattoo artist ever. I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from him, all which have precise lines and he took his time to make sure the placement was perfect. I 1000% recommend him and will definitely be coming back for more:)

Experiencia negativa: Great atmosphere, Great people and the place is very clean. I hate to do this but the tattoo I got over the weekend was horrible it looks like nothing the picture I gave the tattoo artist. This is the worst tattoo I’ve ever had and I really support this place because I got my first tattoo here years ago by Adam the owner that died years ago. Hurts to say now I have to find another tattoo artist to cover this up. My tattoo looks nothing like the picture I gave him. Still this is a great establishment to visit.

Experiencia positiva: I went to Capital City a few months ago for my first tattoo and it was a very profession yet fun atmosphere and I had a great experience going there. Kody was my artist and he did a GREAT job and made my ladybug actually look like it was walking and was very articulate about the details of the tattoo. I would definitely recommend Kody at Capital City if you want a great tattoo and great service!

They were all professional and I could tell they were experienced and knew what they were doing; they also walked through piercing after-care according to my personal schedule and demonstrated that they actually cared. 10/10 I would recommend their services to anyone.

Experiencia positiva: Me and three other girls were out on a girls night looking for all of us to get tattoos. We called around and visited one shop that had the WORST customer service and honestly spelt like pee. We stumbled across Capital City Tattooz and immediately felt welcome and loved the atmosphere of the shop. All four of us had artist Kody. He joked and cut up with us. He was smooth and painless with the tattoos we got. He let us review the placement of the stencil and allowed us to move it around how we wanted to make sure we were happy before starting. He gave care instructions and suggestions on what to get to clean the tattoos. My script is clean looking and looks great!
