Also took his time the whole way through, you can tell he takes great pride in his work and it shows through his art. After, he gave me a bunch of instructions for making sure the tattoo heals correctly. Great atmosphere in the shop as well, overall fantastic experience.

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!! I went to Braun for my first tattoo (a dragonfly) and he made the whole process feel like a total breeze. I was a bit anxious at first, but the vibe in this shop is unmatched. The atmosphere is so welcoming and everyone working there is nice and funny. Braun really took the time to listen to my ideas and was down for whatever I wanted to do. He made sure my vision came to life exactly how I pictured it which is all you can really ask for in an artist. I felt so comfortable the entire time and I’m obsessed with the final result. Experiencia fantástica: Let’s get started: If you’re looking for a new artist or just in Tallahassee and want to get a new tattoo or piercing, Empire should be at the top of your list. From the moment I walked in, everyone was very welcoming. My tattoo artist was Dylan, and will continue to be Dylan. He’s done a few tattoos for me now. He’s an incredibly laid back and easy to talk to personal, and an all around great guy. The shop vibes are super chill as well, which I deeply appreciate. It’s not a shop full of condescending artists, but a group of awesome people hanging out, having fun and doing what they love. 10/10 would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Very nice guy, with good conversation, he made me feel comfortable as it was my first experience in the shop. He is accommodating to your preferences and makes sure you are confident in your decisions. A++ service. As far as his work goes, you can tell Mufasa loves what he does. After deciding on a smaller more simple piece, he went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for me. And he succeeded! Linework from Mufasa is so clean, his touch was so gentle that I talked to my friends the entire time I was there and it was almost painless, almost fell asleep in the chair, I swear it felt like a massage more than a tattoo for real. I was his last client of the night but he cared about me and my tattoo as much as he did the first client. He is quick but accurate with his work. Had zero modifications when it was over because I was that happy with his work. Thank you so much Mufasa! Thank you empire! I will be back!

Experiencia negativa: I booked with Braat for surface tragus piercings and a nose piercing. Both areas had been pierced before, but the jewelry had fallen out months ago, which is why I came in to have them redone. The surface tragus piercings were extremely painful, as she struggled to get the balls on the jewelry. I will say that she was very kind and checked on me throughout the process. At the time, I thought I was satisfied with the work. However, once I got home, my ear became extremely tender. I initially assumed this was normal due to the fresh piercings, but I soon realized the jewelry was far too small and had literally begun to sink into my skin. I contacted her about the issue, and she was more than willing to replace the bar with a larger one. While I did get what I paid for—especially considering the price of 3 piercings for $145—I ultimately won’t be returning. Although she was very nice, I would rather pay more to ensure the piercing is done correctly the first time than take a cheaper route. A staple bar was suppose to be used but she used a curved bar which is causes irritation, rejection, and thinning tissue. Unfortunately, I now have bumps on my surface tragus piercings. Moving forward, I will invest in a shop with more advanced training and experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Service: Tattoo Artist: Braun My siblings and I came in on Saturday to get sibling tattoos and one additional for me. All very small tattoos. The first artist who tried to assist us quoted us at a price we weren't comfortable with some decided to leave. Braun then came out and caught us before we left and not only offered better pricing but gave reasoning behind the pricing. I ended up getting my small personal tattoo behind my ear. He was very polite, had good energy and great vibes, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I would definitely consider going to him again in the future.

I have two tattoos, so I know a general idea of what to expect and LeBraun was an absolute angel. He was so sweet, kept me entertained with the tv (autistic and ADHD so I had a great time waiting for my bf) and was genuinely such a kind person. He's been reaching out to my boyfriend to check in on him and how the tattoo is healing. He is very informative and did an amazing job. I will definitely be back to him, to get a tattoo of my own. He's literally a big teddy bear and I have nothing but positive things to say about him! He definitely knows what he's doing. There was some miscommunication at first (bf had a couple drinks) but LeBraun was very patient and knocked out a quick stencil and got to work. We will be back! Thank you so much!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I would. On March 1st, I came to get a belly piercing something I always wanted. Of course, before I got my piercing I did my research about belly piercings, how long they heal, what I need to clean them with, etc. Devin proceeded to pierce me with a traditional belly piercing jewelry in which I believe was made of stainless steel. Over time, I noticed my belly piercing started having irritation and grow bumps as I was cleaning it twice a day as instructed and have been. After a couple weeks, I noticed the bumps have gotten bigger, especially at the top entry of the piercing. I went back to Empire Tattoos and she told me to use some type of vitamin e oil. It did not work. I was even informed by another piercer at the same shop and told me to get the Piercing Bump Oil off Amazon. Tried it for weeks, it did not work even with me cleaning with a saline solution. Eventually, summer comes and I have to travel all the way to MIssissippi for an internship. By this time in May, my bump have grown twice this size. With someone who already dealt with negative feelings on their body and wanted a belly piercing for so long, this made me not only frustrated but very emotional. I had to create a homade saline solution with non-iodized sea salt and warm distilled water in a shot glass as my last resort and by the grace of God it helped shrink my bump down a significant size but the bump was still prevalent. Very skeptical because I do not reside in Mississippi, I had to make a desperate attempt to find a local piercer who could help me. The local piercer in Mississippi told me that I actually have floating navel anatomy and I have been pierced wrong and even given the wrong body jewelry as I was supposed to be given floating navel jewelry and pierced more shallow in the belly button. The piercer in MIssissippi then gives me titanium floating navel jewelry and to continue my saline solution I made with dry heat compression with rice in a sock. She also informed me when the swelling goes down and the bump disappears I would need to get a shorter floating navel. By the end of my internship, my bump was able to go away at the top entry and I have now in November of 2025 switched to a shorter floating navel, but now I have a small bump at the bottom of the piercing entry. I would insert pictures for proof but I'm not comfortable with them on the internet. I feel like this is a constant battle I have to fight ever since I got pierced by Devin on March 1st of this year and I have a fear that my body will never accept my belly piercing due to the trauma its been through. I have to live with this forever on my body as it leaves scars and skin trauma all because someone is not being properly educated on piercings as they are supposed to be! Something so simple should never have turned into an eight-month ordeal. I’m sharing this so others are aware: please make sure your piercer understands anatomy, especially for floating navels. My experience could have been avoided entirely if I had been pierced correctly the first time.

Experiencia negativa: i was not told i was going to be tattooed by an apprentice, but their apprentices seem to need a lot of work. the linework of my tattoo was shaky and uneven and the artist didn't even use a coil, she used a rotary pen. i will not be coming back, which is upsetting because the employed artists seemed to be extremely skilled.
