Experiencia fantástica: Every time I come to Heebee Jeebees, I have an incredible experience. Today I was lucky enough to work with Reese, and he was absolutely phenomenal! If you’re in the market for new ink, this is hands-down the best place to go. You truly can’t get a bad artist here—I’ve been tattooed by almost everyone in the shop, and every single experience has been amazing.

I got a SpongeBob tattoo with my best friend (he got Patrick) and I’ve never felt safer at a tattoo studio if I’m being completely honest. The lady with the tattoo on her third eye is so welcoming and the vibe is incredible in there. They’re so incredibly professional and fun. I found my permanent tattoo artist here. My tattoo artist is Rick. He is very gentle handed and very kind. I appreciate every person at this shop because honestly it’s hard to have a safe space to go to nowadays. Yall need to come here to get your tattoos (my ankle got angry and started bleeding but the yellow ink looks perfect under the bleeding) My friend got the Patrick!!! Cucuy tattooed my friend :) he’s also super chill!! We had a blast.

My wolf tattoo is everything I wanted!!Clean, bold, colorful, and just plain badass. The attention to detail really shows, and it healed beautifully. The shop itself is awesome, always welcoming, professional, and full of talented artists. Everyone there is so kind and makes the whole experience comfortable from start to finish. I’ll definitely keep coming back, and I can’t recommend Rick enough. If you’re thinking about getting tattooed, this is the place to go.

Experiencia negativa: I got a tattoo from here because an old friend was supposed to be working. Wasn’t there but I moved on with the decision. I have many tattoos and so far all have been at reasonable prices. Felt a bit robbed by this shop because they did not mention a 20 minute quick 1 inch tat would be 100 bucks. Kinda sad to do that to your customers. Won’t be coming back unfortunately.

Experiencia fantástica: I first went to Heebee Jeebees Tattoos a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a family member. My sister had passed away a couple of years prior, and I wanted to get a memorial tattoo. I went in for a consultation and met with Reese. I was told he did good line work. I gave him my mock-up and made an appointment. When I arrived I was treated very well by everyone I encountered in the shop. Reese told me memorials were very important to him and double checked the date I wanted on the tattoo. He then proceeded to work. And I was not disappointed. The work was excellent. Reese is so personable, as is every artist I’ve ever had contact with in the shop. As someone else noted, they support and encourage each other’s art. I have since been to Reese for a large piece on my arm and a hippie theme on that same arm. I already have follow-up appointments and sent my husband to Reese for his “virgin” tattoo. He now has his second Reese tattoo with others planned. I pay attention to how often Reese washes his hands during the process, how he sterilizes his work area, and how he respects the fact that he is working on older clients. My husband and I are both in our 60’s. I have had people comment on how clean Reese’s work is. I have also dropped his name to anyone who asks. I appreciate how seriously he takes his craft and am so grateful that he is the artist to whom I was appointed when I first entered the shop.

Reached out to contact the owner no response. I’m mortified to say the least. Do yourself a favor and just go to Demon Tattoo!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I were up in Colorado Springs celebrating our anniversary this weekend. We had the spontaneous idea of getting matching tattoos and after a quick google search we came into Heebee Jeebees as walk-ins. My husband was going on his thirteenth tattoo so no biggie, for me however this was my first experience and I was naturally pretty nervous. Steph made me feel comfortable and safe start to finish. Her aesthetic and set up is also beyond cute!! I loved the turn out and was very pleased with the prices. Cucuy did my husband's tattoo and also did such a wonderful job. Both artists are very professional and you can tell they take pride in their craft. All of the other artists and staff in the shop were equally polite and professional and show so much love to each other which was so refreshing to see! Very much recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: The many rave reviews of this place aren’t lying! Cucuy did my first ever tattoo and made me feel so at home despite my nerves about my first experience. I went back to him yesterday for his help fixing two others I’ve gotten since (done by another artist) and I was unsure what I’d do about one of them. He and another artist gave me some advice and didn’t make me feel silly about the quality of the tattoo I was struggling with. I showed Cucuy two pictures of things I liked for coverup options and then he started drawing on me, literally creating the vision I had, but unique to me!! He did the tattoo with no stencil, just his own artwork!! I LOVE it!! He also fixed my other tattoo I wanted tuned up. The shop only charged me shop minimum for all of this, which compared to most other places, is SUPER affordable. Thank you Heebie Jeebies and Cucuy!! You guys are THE best!! NOTE: the sunflower/arrow design is the one Cucuy drew up unique to me and is a coverup. The bird is the one he tuned up. The photos show my tattoos a bit bloody and blurry-looking due to the healing process with saniderm. They are much clearer without the saniderm on top!

We are from out of state and walked in when these guys opened (after lots of research and research and reviews) and they DID NOT disappoint. From start to finish - these guys were personable, easy to deal with, honest and easy to work with. Reese accepted my request for a leg sleeve and it’s turning out amazing!!! His line work and attention to detail is phenomenal and his hand is delicate when he’s working. He always checks in if I’m alright, and when we’d take a break he’d ask if I’m ready and comfortable to start again. The conversation is always delightful with him and the other artists, they’re all super funny and never failed to make me smile during an appointment.The comfort they provide while creating beautiful body art is just fascinating to experience and watch. Moreover, they all get along and check in with each other, not just the guests. It’s amazing to see such a friendly and welcoming workplace, both to the staff and to the guests. I 10/10 recommend this place if you’re looking for something exquisite and welcoming! Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to get a tattoo in my Colorado trip which, I only spared two nights in the town of Colorado Springs. I found them on google, where I would see their works clearly. I headed to the store with a few tattoo ideas in my mind. I was not sure which one I should pick. The artist Cucuy carefully listened to what was in my mind. After a brief brainstorming, he took his time to craft a design. He came out with a DOPE image… His work is clean, successful and timely. He is a true legend in his profession and I am looking forward to travel from Florida to get another tattoo. Super thankful to Cucuy and Meghan for their help.

The whole shop is VERY clean, medically so, just like you'd hope, and all the artists use new, clean needles, gloves, and follow all other safe tattoo practices. The artist who did my piece, Steph, really knocked it out the ballpark. The tattoo's quality really speaks for itself with how clean it looks. I'm in love with the piece, even months later now, and honestly couldn't have asked for better. It's of outstanding quality and genuinely exceeded expectations. It was also my first tattoo, and Steph went above and beyond with making sure I was comfortable and doing well through the process, and making sure I knew what I could expect with pain from the very beginning. Perfectly captured my dainty feminine moon want and my partners matching less feminine sun. We absolutely love her and definitely will be coming back. I have had many people over the years tell me about this shop when I would ask them where they got their tattoos. All of their tattoos had aged well and that is what really got my attention. So many times a tattoo will look amazing fresh but don't age well. The moment I walked in I was at ease. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The shop was very clean and brightly lit. When talking to the staff they were very clear about the process of how things were done from consultations, appointments, and aftercare. Cucui did my tatto and he took all my references from the consultation and made a piece of art that was absolutely perfect for me. I am going to have him be my artist from here on out. We did a walk in, and they were able to get us in same day while even working with our schedule to pick up our daughter from school. My artist was Kelsey, and she did an amazing job. Very friendly and personable, she has awesome line work. She wanted to make sure I felt good and comfortable the whole time. She did excellent work and saturated the color. I hadn't been tattooed in over 14yrs super friendly staff and artists great experience overall and highly recommend this shop.

Experiencia fantástica: Myself and three friends all came in for walk ins. We were on vacation and wanted to get some ink for the hell of it. We all loved our experience. Great atmosphere, a WIDE range of artists to select from with all levels of skill. I sat with Cucuy who was very communicative, friendly, big teddy bear energy. I sent him a photo of what I wanted, drew it up in no time. 1 hour and a half later, I had myself a souvenir for the trip. Big thanks!

They quoted our wait time accurately, the front desk was very friendly, and the shop is clean. My artist, Reese, did amazing work on my tattoos and executed what I asked for with precision. You can tell he really cares about what he does. Overall great experience, highly recommend, and I will definitely go back again.

Experiencia negativa: Would I ever come here again? No. I booked my appointment well in advance. When I showed up they had no stencil prepared and it was blatantly obvious that they hadn't looked at the reference photos I had sent. They began free drawing on me, something not even slightly resembling the references I had sent in. I ended up doing a cover of a smaller previous tattoo just to do something, and wished I hadn't. I ended up with a poorly done cover up on my hand, because there was no way I was going to let someone free draw on me, especially when it was blatantly obvious that they were completely unprepared. I'm glad I didn't let them do my whole hand after what I ended up with. The tattoo is unattractive and the damage done to my skin is sad. Despite my consistent after care the scaring left is obvious. They heavy handed me on an area with delicate skin to the point where deep layers of skin came off from being overworked. I know it was because I minimized the design after coming in for a larger piece, that caused his annoyance to show up in his work. However, if you have a client paying for something you need to do your due diligence and put in the work. Don't just start freehanding something that looks nothing like the concept, then expect someone to be comfortable allowing you to tattoo them. Moreover, if this is your first encounter together.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in and talked to Cucuy. He did an amazing, brilliant and awesome job on my tattoo. My guy got one by Erik. It looks amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Very clean, professional and calm atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely go back. Raven at the front desk is very sweet and makes you feel welcomed.

I worked with Reese and it was probably the most enjoyable tattooing sessions I've ever had. He made sure that I was happy with design and placement as well as making sure that I was comfortable with the whole experience. If I was local, I would absolutely see him again. I can not say enough good things about this studio!

I found HJ and did a walk in appointment. The wait wasn't bad and the tattoo itself was a breeze. Cucuy was light handed, fast and affordable. I love it so much and it's just what I needed. Experiencia fantástica: Walked in to get a quote for an important cover up and wound up scheduling an appointment for a week or two later with Kenny McCarthy. During my session they were playing a ton of older 90s and early 2000s music that I grew up on and hadn’t heard in years. It was a great little trip down memory lane which made the tattoo process less painful. Kenny did an amazing job and charged me less than the price he quoted. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming from the beginning, all the way until the end. If you need a good tattoo shop that does walk ins, this is the place to go. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and can’t wait to see it all healed up. Update: this is after 5 days after wearing the Saniderm. I think it turned out great! -Jeff

Experiencia negativa: Went in to get my first professional, “professional” tattoo and I got anxious and lightheaded before we started! We thought everything was good so we continued on with getting the tattoo that day! Got the tattoo taking a couple breaks in between!! By the end of it my artist told me that i had rocked it and we payed.. Nearly $400 for a small forearm tattoo black with a slight bit of white added! My sister has a large forearm tattoo that she payed $400 exact for! By the time my tattoo had healed i noticed that it was already faded as if i've had it for years! its crooked and looks smudged! we went in to get it touched up today after only having it for a month and my sister simply asked one question and the artist took offense and asked her and my boyfriend to switch spots. I took her there as a support system and because she knows whats up when it comes to tattoos! While the artist was doing my boyfriends tattoo touch up he had mentioned how rude my sister was..? She was respectful with her question and she didn’t mean anything bad by it, she simply wanted me to be happy with the graduation gift that will forever be on my body! As my boyfriend was leaving another artist had made a sly comment about the artist not “killing anyone this time” as if what was happening to me was the first time it has ever happened in a tattoo shop! The artists are no where near professional and the lady at the front had attitude from the jump! Being an artist you have to be prepared for professional criticism.. My sister was concerned because she knew how much this meant to me and when it turned out how it did it broke my heart! These artists took it as a joke and an insult when it was neither! Find a shop that has people who knows what they're doing with a tattoo gun and a PAYING customers experience!

Experiencia negativa: This review is less about the shop as I’ve gone in there for a walk-in with the artist Rachel and it was a perfectly pleasant experience. This review is about Kenny McCarthy, I put $100 for an appointment that Kenny McCarthy was unable to tattoo me on due to a front desk error so we had to reschedule with me emailing him my reference photo again and then never hearing from him again. I emailed just asking for an email back only to receive nothing. I call the front desk twice the week leading up to the rescheduled tattoo with them not answering at all which led me to believe that the tattoo had not been properly scheduled again. So I call the day of and finally get an answer informing me the tattoo was still on. Due to the previously stated circumstances I was unable to come in with me living an hour away so the very helpful front desk lady raven informed me it’s no big deal and I can still schedule an appointment keeping my deposit I only need to call back to fully schedule it. I call multiple times over the course of a few days speaking with the front desk having them tell me they will try to get a hold of him to finally get the piece scheduled. A few days later when they finally do I am informed Kenny felt his time had not been respected and will be requiring another $100 deposit due to him losing a day of work the same as I did for the original date. Keep in mind this whole time I was still fully excited to get this piece done and had no animosity for them at all. This left me feeling incredibly disrespected as a client with Kenny McCarthy not caring to communicate or to respect my day that I called off for as he thought I should just show up after I had been ghosted for a 3 week period. This left me feeling as if he had never even planned to do my tattoo intentionally dodging me or at the very least not a priority tattoo for him at all. I would have to recommend at the least going to a different artist who might actually feel like they WANT to do your tattoo with you. To clarify the tattoo shop itself is fine with the front desk ladies being helpful on the phone and my only other experience with the other artists was with Rachel which was a very normal experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Rachel is AMAZING she took my idea and what I wanted for a tattoo and turned it into something amazing. She took her time and really focused on the detail she cared about how I was doing and if I was comfortable during the tattoo I would 10/10 recommend her and will be back for many many more tattoos from her.
