I’ve almost all of my piercings done and maintained by Amanda & Paige, and I’ve gotten tattoos done by Mack, Charlie and Vick—most recently by Vick (photo attached of the coolest “wild type” zebrafish tatt I’ve ever seen). Everyone is always so friendly and helpful, pricing is great, and everything is super clean! I’ve not once had a bad experience and I’m always happy to refer friends/family their way. Thanks for all you do! I appreciate everything y’all do to make everyone feel welcomed. :)

Went to get my jewelry changed and the ball fell off 3 hours after i left the shop. which wasn’t an issue because they got me in same day and put it back on. Today the ball fell out.. again. After literally getting it “retightened” the night before…Everyone is very nice in the shop but my jewelry shouldn’t keep falling out. And I’m not going to keep going back.

Experiencia negativa: good tattoo but i definitely got over charged. They didn’t inform me of how much it would be upfront and I payed $300 for some simple line work that took only about 45 minutes, and it wasn’t a very welcoming experience. When I asked about repositioning and sizing my artist seemed to be bothered and annoyed by me, huffing and puffing…I mean at the end of the day this is MY body. I have talked to others and I’m 99% sure I was GREATLY taken advantage of, as I had made the mistake of saying this was my first tattoo and she charged me the maximum I listed in my budget. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good tattoo, but I am very disappointed with the integrity of this establishment. Take that as you will. Also I was not informed before hand that they only take cash payments so I had to use the ATM which had a service charge. Be wary

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter got her ear pierced by Paige, which had scar tissue build -up from a previous piercing. Paige tried one afternoon to open her hole instead of doing a repiercing. She explained, thoroughly, the whole procedure to calm her nerves. We had to go back the next afternoon for her to pierce the ear again, because the scar tissue had built up too much. PAIGE was AMAZING and personable! Everything was explained again and the appointment went so smoothly. THANK YOU Be True Tattoo again!!

You can tell that she takes pride in her work as she’s thorough, and always checks in with us during our sessions to measure our comfort. They are so nice and attentive, very comfortable place like you have known people for years. My tattoo artist was alexa wolfkiel. She is very personable, kind, and sweet. She freehand drew my tattoo, and I get so many compliments on it. She is great and I highly recommend going to see her.

Experiencia fantástica: I popped in one night to replace my nose ring. I opted for a stud, and Amanda was so helpful. I have had my nose pierced 3 times, and not one of those times did anyone measure my nostril. Amanda perfectly sized the stud so it is nearly invisible even if you’re looking up my nostril for it! She was so attentive to detail and I can’t wait to return for ear styling!

Even for the last break she respected my boundaries and before we started again she said I would laugh at how much was left. Took one minute and my tattoo was complete. I did in fact laugh. I absolutely love it and show it off all the time!

Experiencia fantástica: Okay, so first, I want to brag on Amanda (Punch): I've gotten a number of piercings from her at this point (this visit was my first at Be True), and every single time, I walk away feeling more confident, excited, and ecstatic about my new jewelry. She takes her work super seriously and goes out of her way to make sure I'm well-informed while still managing to make it a comfortable, fun experience. I trust her to tell me when something may not work for my body and how to make any necessary adjustments, and she has never let me down in that regard. As a shop, Be True is incredibly clean, welcoming, and unintimidating (which can't be said for all tattoo businesses). Everyone there was super relaxed and seemed to just be enjoying themselves. The artists have done a great job creating a relaxing atmosphere for their clients. Update: since writing this review, I've been back to Be True for multiple flash events and have loved everything I've gotten (all from Mak)! These have events have been run well and go super smoothly.

Greeted by some very special ladies. Once we decided we would stay and get the tattoo there was no regrets. I also ended up getting new rings for my ears as the piercer made me aware my holes were still open which was fantastic. Our tattoo artist I don’t have enough good things to say about her and for the life of me can’t remember her name but she has some amazing blue eyes.
