She made me feel comfortable the entire time and never made me feel rushed. I would definitely recommend booking with Sophia. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had Sergio do two custom tattoos for me at Igla, and both were amazing. I loved the first one so much that I didn’t even consider going to anyone else for the second. He took my random references and very specific description and somehow turned them into exactly what I had in my head — but better. You can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and the clients he’s working with. He really wants you to love every part of it — the design, the size, the placement, all of it. I especially appreciated how patient and detail-oriented he was throughout the whole process. It never felt rushed, just thoughtful and collaborative. Couldn’t recommend him more — I’ll definitely be back for the next one!

Experiencia fantástica: This is a little late, but I worked with Holly and she was very kind and did an excellent job with my tattoos. It was my first time getting a tattoo, and she made me feel welcome and reassured, asked me if I was comfortable, and asked me if the stencil represented and looked the way that I wanted. I’ve had my tattoos for about a week and a half and they’re healing very nicely and the work looks very nice since i had gotten the tattoo. Her letting was spot on to the handwriting sample I provided and the flower tattoo looks identical to the one I had chosen for inspiration. I would definitely choose to work with Holly again if I am in the area and would like similar tattoos.

Our tattoo artist, Pavel, was not only able to fit us in, but he did an amazing job on our tattoos. Alex was awesome walking us through the process at the beginning. These were our first tattoos. Pavel made both of us feel comfortable before starting. Everything was sterilized at his station. He worked very professionally and safely. Would highly recommend him. We were super happy!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in with my husband and sister. My sister wanted to get a song lyrics on her collar bone, was quoted after deciding placement and size $150. My husband and I got matching tattoos was quoted $300. No issue with the pricing. The issue is whenever my sister and I’s tattoos were done we left and my husband was finishing up his and was paying for us. When he checked out there was an additional $200 added to my sister’s tattoo. He was in rush to leave because we had a concert to go to so he didn’t argue. I hate giving low stars especially when the tattoo artist and the tattoos that were done are beautiful. I have no doubt they were clean and knowledgeable. The staff and artist were all wonderful and the art work is beyond beautiful. The sudden price change just did not sit right with me and feels a bit shady. So be warned! Update- Laila did get in contact with me and it appeared to be some language barrier issue. I still highly recommend them and their tattoo artist just double check the pricing with them! Sergio did mine and my partners tattoos and we had zero issue and he did an amazing job and was very clean.

I stumbled upon IGLÁ tattoo studio by looking at Google Maps and places near my hotel. I reviewed Holly’s flash and she made my vision come to life, with added detail. I’ve been wanting a small bouquet of flowers for a while, upon browsing Holly’s flash I found a piece that’s a flower bouquet wrapped in NYC newspaper. I fell in love instantly. Immediately book an appointment with Marie, which was so easy. Upon arriving I fell in love with the studio and finally met Holly. She was so sweet and created a masterpiece. I can’t wait to visit NYC and Holly again! Truly one of the sweetest most talented people. I will always recommend IGLÁ Tattoo Studio to anyone looking for an amazing experience and tattoo!

I walked in toward the end of the day, after 4 pm, and Sergio was kind enough to take me in as a walk in. I explained that I wanted a simple fine line tattoo of my dog’s name, Sadie Mae. I was a little indecisive, but Sergio was extremely patient and showed me multiple font options until we found the perfect one. He worked with me the entire time and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. The tattoo came out absolutely beautiful. Clean, delicate, and exactly what I wanted. He truly slayed this tattoo. I 100 percent recommend Sergio at Igla Tattoo Studio and will definitely be back.

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE** I have uploaded my tattoo now 7 months later. I will be sitting with a new artist here in NC to fix it. My husband and I went on Saturday, June 28th to get fine line tattoos together. I got a rose and our wedding date in roman numerals. I LOVED IT!! So pretty. So delicate. Just what I wanted. I came back home to NC the following day. I kept the bandage Christine put and left it on for 7 days. Once I removed it like she said, slide it up instead of ripping off. I keep a very thin layer of Aquaphor on it and never pick at it or touch it. I don't wear long sleeves just to make sure it doesn't rub on it. The tattoo is fading. The rose doesn't look like a rose anymore. I know fine lines are more prone to fade but not while it's healing. So disappointed. I live in NC, now I have to find someone to re-touch it and I'm scared they'll just ruin it. Now I'm stuck with a patchy tattoo. $380 down the drain.

Experiencia fantástica: My best friend and I got matching tattoos at IGLA, we had never been to this studio before so we were paired with Alex since he was available at the time that worked for us. It couldn’t have been a better match! Alex understood what we were looking for right away, we loved his design but he walked us through pros/cons of placement and how the tattoo would ultimately look not only fresh but after it was healed as well. He was so friendly, but my friend and I are both talkers and he was so patient with us while we gabbed the whole time and while we worked out the placement of our stencils lol! We love how our tattoos came out (we got matching fine line tattoos) and can’t stop staring at them! We cannot wait to go back and see Alex again!

Experiencia positiva: Came here with my boyfriend last year so he could get my name tattooed under his chin and honestly the whole experience felt off from the start. Everything felt rushed, like we were an inconvenience instead of paying customers. There was very little communication about placement or size, and when questions were asked it felt like we were being brushed off. The tattoo itself was done so quickly that it was hard to believe any care went into it. No real reassurance, no checking in, just in and out. The vibe was tense and uncomfortable, which is the last thing you want when someone is getting something permanent on their body. It felt more like they were trying to move us along than make sure it was done right. Giving three stars only because it did get done, but the experience was honestly awful and stressful. For something that was supposed to be meaningful, it turned into something we just wanted to be over with. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a welcoming environment or artists who actually take the time to care.

Experiencia positiva: Update 1/15/26: The studio manager reached out directly, was very kind, and handled the situation professionally. She honored what was originally communicated and confirmed the touch-ups would be free of charge. Yulia also took accountability during the follow-up appointment. She reworked the completely faded finger tattoo in a different placement and did touch-ups on the other two hand tattoos. I really appreciate the way the manager stepped in and how the situation was ultimately handled. While the initial experience involved miscommunication and unnecessary back-and-forth, the resolution showed care and professionalism, which is why I’m updating this review. ----------------------- My husband had a small fine-line finger tattoo done by Yulia. The design consisted of four small numbers, and the cost was $200. We understood going in that finger tattoos can fade faster, and that risk was discussed. However, this was not gradual fading. The tattoo was almost completely gone within five days, to the point that it looked like pen ink that had washed off. This strongly suggests the ink did not properly settle into the skin. At the appointment, we were explicitly told the first touch-up would be free, which was a deciding factor for us. After reaching out, we were later told this was a miscommunication and were quoted $100–$150 for the touch-up, citing internal policies and the fact that the artist rents a chair. While we were aware that she rents a chair, internal business arrangements are not the client’s responsibility and should not affect what was communicated and agreed upon at the time of service. We followed up calmly to explain that the tattoo failed unusually fast and asked that the original agreement be honored. After that message, we received no response. For additional context, we consulted another reputable tattoo studio, where the same style of fine-line finger tattoo was quoted at less than half the price, and they confirmed that a free touch-up is standard practice, especially in cases of rapid fading. We understand mistakes happen. What was disappointing here was the lack of accountability and follow-through afterward.

I was super late due to phone issues and getting lost finding it but he was still gracious enough to take me! I’m super happy with the work he did and it was a pleasant experience overall. So thankful that with all the trouble he was kind and very nice!!

The price was worth it for art that will last a lifetime and is well done. My piece was not fine line and Holly was very accommodating to make it a bit thicker to match my other tattoos. I would come here again!

Experiencia fantástica: I got my first tattoo here with Pavel and he did an amazing job. He worked with me to customize a unique design I loved and was very attentive to what I was asking for. He asked to manipulate the shape of the final drawing to better fit my shoulder and it ended up even better than I imagined. The rest of the staff was also very welcoming and they provided a card and some supplies for care. I highly recommend Pavel and IGLA Studio. Final price was $600
