My artist, David, did an amazing job both with the tattoo and working with me to make sure it was perfect. My tattoo is a relatively simple idea, but the placement made it slightly complicated. David effortlessly worked this into the perfect tattoo and made it work. Can’t thank them enough and I really recommend NOBLE ART to anyone looking to get a tattoo. I was planning on only one, but might have to come back for some more.

He also touched up my two 10-year-old dog tattoos and made them look brand new again. So talented. David is super respectful, professional, and truly an artist. The whole studio has such a welcoming, wholesome vibe everyone there is kind and you can see the passion in their work. Amazing experience. 100% recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: NYC location: For a few years I’ve had my eye on a patch tattoo and it looked like THE person to go to was in Europe and had no plans to come to the NYC area. I looked on instagram for patch tattoo artists and while there were some good ones, I felt their work wasn’t consistently great. Then I came across Noemi Buendia Quintanilla and there wasn’t a tattoo in her portfolio that wasn’t consistently fantastic. I shared with her my idea, I saw that she had done something somewhat similar for another baseball team, and set the appointment. She was remarkable. I’ll get back to her soon. The Noble Art shop is modern, clean, welcoming, warm in the winter, and I appreciated when I came in they offered me coffee, tea, or a beverage, and offered me that throughout my time there. When I was getting ready to be tattooed, multiple artists were conferring with each other about what the perfect placement and size of the tattoo would be on my arm size and shape. They made some slight adjustments to the shape so that it would look more like a real circle, even though the arm curves. It was pretty remarkable to see each of them working with each other, FOR each other, for MY benefit. And as a result, I felt supported and really confident that it was going to be a great experience. Noemi was precise, warm, caring, open to some humor, and went out of her way to give the tattoo all the time it needed, even though it ended up taking considerably longer than initially anticipated. It was so clear that her goal was doing her best tattoo so that I would get the best tattoo possible without cutting any corners. You take a risk getting a tattoo from a new artist, but please use this review as confirmation that there’s no risk here. Only a great tattoo! Overall, I got a real strong sense of a family atmosphere there where all of the artists are not only doing great work for themselves and their clients, but helping each other and other clients to have great experiences. Shout out to the manager/piercer who was very helpful along the way.

Experiencia fantástica: I understand perfectly how “learn to tattoo in 2 weeks” can sound like a complete scam and I’m sure there are shops out there taking full advantage of people with that statement, but this is not the case at Noble Art Tattoo Academy…they are the REAL DEAL. Noble Art offers an intense, fully and immediately immersive course that teaches the fundamentals needed as a base of comprehension and puts you to work on fake skin with your very own tattoo machine before lunchtime on your first day. Iris Galcerà at their New York City location is an extraordinary instructor. Direct and down-to-Earth, her extensive knowledge and highly responsive teaching method makes the vast amount of information she teaches easy to digest. Iris gave every student in our class individualized attention whenever needed and held nothing back in terms of technique, hints and methods. Her professional guidance, corrections and encouragement was worth the price of the course alone. This course may not be cheap and that’s likely the point some will be hesitant about, but it would certainly cost far more if you were to learn the art of tattooing in the wrong way from the wrong people with the wrong approach. Consider it a wise investment in yourself to potentially become a tattoo artist because with much practice and even more patience it is entirely possible to transform the knowledge gained from Noble Art Tattoo Academy into gainful employment and a profitable career. In that sense, it’s worth every single penny.

I got 2 helix and my right eyebrow here done by Iris. Shes super sweet and knowledgeabl. They do checkups after 2 weeks and 2 months and do the bar changes free of charge. They only do brows, nose and ears!!!!! I still love everyone here at Noble!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Had a very mixed experience at Noble Art. I went it to get my 2nd lobe piercing and worked with Katherine. She was extremely nice and informed, and the process was smooth. This was more on the expensive side, however, I didn’t mind paying extra for the quality. However, shortly 2 weeks after I got my piercing, I found that one of the earrings had fallen off and gotten lost. This happened while I was traveling so I went back in right as I got back which was 3 days after it fell out. This time there was someone else helping me, and while they tried initially, the hole had closed and they said that now I will have to pay for the piercing because they can’t do anything. This was disappointing to say the least as it had only been two weeks and even while cleaning, there was no indication that the earring was loose. Although when my ear was first pierced, one of the earrings was already falling and they had to adjust it back which makes me question the quality of the earrings. All in all while they explained that they can’t reprieve it right now because it needs to heal, it was disappointing that I spent so much for a piercing to last only 2 weeks. While my experience with the piercing itself was good, I don’t think I will be coming back here given that it was basically a waste of money. Edit: The store’s response mentions that they said they wouldn’t charge me. However, the associate I spoke with that day explained that since they couldn’t do the piercing immediately, I would be charged when I returned after it healed. My frustration isn’t about the decision to prioritize health, there was never any disagreement on that. It’s about the poor quality of the original earring and the lack of customer service I experienced.

NachA made me feel so special, especially with the fine line she just did of my dog’s face. I recommend her 1000% and overall just Noble Art. Experiencia fantástica: There are so many tattoo shops in NYC, but after a lot of research I chose Noble Art, and I’m so glad I did. Booking was easy, and Rosa was super helpful and welcoming. The shop is big, bright, and spotless—right away you know you’re in good hands. My artist, Alejandro Zalve, walked me through my idea and nailed it. I wanted a permanent "postcard" of my 1st trip to NY. While chatting, I found out he specializes in animal portraits/realism, which got me so excited because I’d been looking for someone to do a portrait of my dog, Charlie. My first tattoo turned out flawless, and even though Alejandro was pretty booked he was able to adjust his schedule so I could get Charlie’s portrait a few days later and just hours before flying home. The detail is unreal—his work is absolutely phenomenal. If you’re thinking about a portrait of your fur baby—or just want an artist who truly cares—Alejandro at Noble Art is the one.

Experiencia negativa: I went there to have my belly button jewelry reinserted. When I called beforehand, I was told it would cost $15 since I already had my own jewelry, and I agreed. When I arrived, no one asked me how long the jewelry had been out or gave me any information beforehand. (Less than one week). They simply said okay and took me inside. Then, once inside, they told me that my jewelry would not work and tried to sell me one of theirs instead. It was very clear they were pushing me to buy new jewelry. I told them I didn’t want to purchase a new one, and asked them to insert mine if possible. They refused and said they couldn’t do. In the end, no jewelry was inserted, and no service was actually done, but they still charged me $16. I was inside for only about two minutes. If they were going to charge me regardless, at the very least they should have been transparent about the cost and the policy before bringing me in. The money itself is not the main issue. The real problem is the lack of honesty and customer care. As someone with a lot of tattoos who might have even come back for more in the future, I can say with certainty that I will never return here or recommend this place to anyone

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from David at Nobleart NYC, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. David did an incredible portrait of my dog Kimo, who sadly passed away one month ago. His talent and attention to detail truly brought my fur baby back to life on my skin. David was not only extremely professional and talented, but also so kind and patient throughout the entire process. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time, even though the AC was broken that day (definitely not David’s fault). It was quite warm, but we powered through and six hours later I left with the most amazing tribute to my beloved dog. As an added bonus, David was kind enough to tattoo my daughter’s name for me on a last-minute request. I’m beyond grateful for his flexibility and care. I absolutely plan to return for more work. Thank you so much, David, for helping me keep Kimo’s memory alive in such a beautiful way. Highly recommend

Today I got tatted stitch and angel and I'm Beyond happy NAN did an amazing job he very talented person and I will go with to do my Anime tattoo I trust him. Experiencia negativa: My friend and I got our cartilages pierced here together - both of them fell out within a month. As someone who has had lots of piercings that’s not normal for those starter backs for healing. Took great care of this piercing too and did not sleep on it or touch it really at all. Nice people at the shop, cute shop, but weird it happened to both of us and when we were getting pierced it was awkward because the piercer dropped the back in the middle of piercing me and had to get it from where it was stuck between my back and the seat and didn’t re-sterilize. Not an expert but based on my own past experiences, I would not get a piercing here if you want it to last more than a month.

Experiencia fantástica: My 1st (of many future) appointments @ Noble Art was literally everything I was hoping for and more! I had a tattoo planned for 10 years. I had to earn it. Finally, last year I earned it.. After a lot of searching, I happily found Noble Art’s site. I knew it would be the perfect match for my tattoo idea. My Artist was Ethan. My appointment started with searching fonts similar to the one I had a picture of…until we found the perfect one. I told my Artist the story and significance of the tattoo and how I earned it. Then we did sizing and placement of piece. Then the session. It was such a comfortable, fun and collaborative appointment. In the beautiful NYC studio. Ethan is an amazing artist. I absolutely love my tattoo. And I’ll be back!

My artist, Noemi, was amazing to work with. She was super kind and incredibly helpful throughout the entire design process. She shared a ton of ideas and iterations until we landed on something that felt just right—and I’m so grateful for her patience and creativity. As for the tattoo itself… I’m floored. It came out even better than I had hoped. The style is so unique (a patch-style design), and Noemi absolutely nailed it. I’ll be showing this off for a long time. Highly recommend this place and especially Noemi if you’re looking for a thoughtful, talented artist who truly cares about bringing your vision to life.
