Experiencia fantástica: We ouldn't be happier, my wife and I went with our two daughters 21, and 11 to have their ear piercing done. My 11 was nervous but excited. Hope greeted us at the counter with a warm smile. She went above and beyond to make my daughter feel welcomed and at ease for her first piercing. Corey, wasted no time with that needle, she went from chair to pierced ears in under 5 minutes. He was precise and clearly experienced. Would recommend without question!!!

Experiencia negativa: My girlfriend won a free tattoo giveaway on their Facebook page which she entered for a hopeful gift for not thinking we would win but we did. After talking to her and finding out it was a gift they said they wouldn’t do it at all now, saying she didn’t specify it was for someone else while not putting it in the description that you had to. Makes no sense why it depends on the person and why she couldn’t use it how she saw fit since she won.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to have my flat back nose ring taken out ASAP due to a medical procedure. There had been some conflicting information and the doctor finally told me I needed to have it out about two hours prior to my procedure appointment, and I was struggling with getting it out. I called next generation and explained the urgency of the situation. They were able to fit me into their schedule as quickly as possible. The young lady that assisted me was professional, kind, and got my nose ring out with ease, providing me with a plastic retainer. The other staff were friendly and the shop was clean. I would recommend them to anyone.

When I woke up the next morning, I could not get the get the piercing back through! I went to kaleidoscope and explained the situation and asked if they could re-pierce it and they refused. This is the place to go!

I explained the situation to Corey who was the piercer the day I went in. He took a look at my nose and answered any n all questions. This septum piercing turned out great even with my slight deviation it doesn't appear crooked. Thanks again Corey! Ill be back forsure

Then came by a few months later and said it's still the 90-100 an hour and he said no it's 150 it's always been 150 an hour. Like what dude I got a matching tattoo with my buddy and he you charged us the same

Experiencia fantástica: Zoey hembree was so fast at peicing my nose and was so nice and made me feel so comfortable and helped me when I felt like passing out (I hate needles) but it was great

Experiencia negativa: Went in to get a tattoo done on my arm and had a middle aged bald employee purposely double book me and steal my down payment after misinterpreting something I said. The replacement artist did okay work but got really uncomfortable after I mentioned being mixed race. There were a lot of flies in the building that only showed up about halfway through the tattoo.

Experiencia negativa: I am going to have to spend almost $1k to cover up the horrible line work that the walk-in tattoo artist, Ed, did. He’s difficult to work with and will fight you tooth and nail over the picture you brought in. I’m embarrassed to even show his work and I wear long sleeves because of it. Either way, save yourself time and money and book with one of the other guys. They seem to know what they’re doing.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter got her belly button peirced and they put and recommend a horseshoe ring which it states on the internet and by other professionals never to use in a new pericing. It then started getting her and we went to get removed at a new place. The peircer there said this is the 3 rd time he had seen next generation do this. Lots of pain and waste of time and money now we have to wait for it to be heard prior to getting it redone.

I got my seconds pierced in my ears, and they're doing really well. The environment was clean and me and my friends were treated very professionally.

Experiencia positiva: Corey was great the other day! I was required to remove my nose piercing for an unscheduled surgery Only two months after I had it done. I couldn’t get the old piercing in and used an earring. I was very nervous about it becoming infected . He was very easy to talk to and calmed me down. He put a new replacement in for me and explained every step that he was going to do. Will definitely be returning for another one!

Experiencia negativa: Quick easy piercing, however, they 1. use externally threaded jewlery 2. have awful aftercare advice 3. some of the staff is not only under qualified but one doesn't even have a certificate. The piercing area is also out in the open, which is not good at all. Cheap prices for cheap performance.

Experiencia negativa: Got a naval piercing here two years ago, they were quick and professional but I thought it looked more like a surface piercing considering its not even pierced in my belly button hole... it took over a year to heal and still always had issues with it. Didn't even give me a proper bar, it was WAY too short. I had to go get it changed out by kaliscope and she said he should've given me a a bar with a flat bottom since my belly button closes when I sit. Would not recommend getting any piercings here, as they dont seem educated enough on human anatomy and body modifications. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Experiencia negativa: I enjoy getting my piercings done here, but won't be getting tattoos. My mom and I went in for some simple designs. She wanted a VERY basic dragonfly with a colored outline, and I wanted some script and a few additional dots on my fingers (I had faded dots that I wanted to touch up & add more to the other hand). Ed is the one that did our tattoos. We were in the shop for over 3 hours, while the actual tattoos, including set up, only took MAYBE an hour and a half. The rest of the time was us listening to Ed talking about nothing or him just disappearing for a while. The person next to him finished probably four way more intricate tattoos in the time we were there. It didn't seem like he wanted to do what we were asking, and instead of just saying to find another artist, he kept trying to get us to change our minds to fit with what he wanted to do. We had to keep repeating ourselves to make our point. My mom's dragonfly tattoo was fine, but the colors were dull and overall the wrong style. My scripting was okay, but the dots on my fingers are not looking great. The pre-existing dots were a little crooked, and he was trying to get me to do the touch up to the side to make them more in line. That would have caused me to have multiple dots on my fingers, and not at all what I was wanting? I repeated what I wanted a few times. He ended up agreeing but now that they're healed, they look bad. Half of the dots on one hand are faded to the point it doesn't look like they were touched up. The hand that got the brand new ones are blown out, uneven, and bleeding. We were there for so long and won't be coming back to get the tattoos fixed. I'll stick to piercings at this shop. Definitely learned my lesson about impulse decisions!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had four piercings done here and 3/4 healed beautifully. The most recent piercing I got here was my first cartilage piercing, and it became infected even though I followed proper care procedure, just the same as with my other piercings. I ended up losing the piercing. Beware that Next Gen only used hoop style jewelry for all piercings; I’ve learned now that a lot of piercers use different styles of jewelry for cartilage and facial piercings. Next Gen also pierced my friend’s eyebrow with a hoop, and the eyebrow piercing rejected.

Experiencia negativa: I had a disappointing experience with the tattoo artist Edward (Ed) Baltazar at Next Generation. During my appointment, he initially used the wrong color (green) for a letter in my tattoo. Instead of admitting the mistake, he attempted to cover it up with the pink color I had requested. He didn’t inform me of his error, and when the area appeared darker at the end of the session, I assumed it was due to him going over it multiple times with pink ink and that it would heal normally. However, as the tattoo healed, it became clear that there was a significant issue. It appeared that he either colored the letter "f" in green and then tried to cover it with pink or used a dirty needle that had green ink residue mixed with the pink ink. When I addressed this issue with him, he was dishonest and refused to acknowledge his mistake. Instead, he engaged in gaslighting techniques, as you can see in the screenshots of our conversation. He offered to let me come back for a “touch up” for what he claimed was a fading issue, but there was actually no fading problem. I declined his offer because I no longer had confidence in his artwork or judgment, especially given his evasiveness and lack of honesty. Ed deflected responsibility by stating that the rest of the word had simply healed to a lighter shade, refusing to accept accountability for his error. I requested either a full or partial refund so I could have it corrected at another shop, but he refused. He insisted he could just “touch up” the tattoo if I came in, downplaying the situation and claiming there was no need for drama. He never apologized or acknowledged his mistake; instead, he kept shifting the blame and repeating himself. I have attached photos and screenshots for reference. I truly hope others have a better experience. I wish he had been honest during the tattoo process about his mistake; if he had, we could have perhaps tattooed the pink area purple instead of trying to poorly cover it up, hoping I wouldn’t notice. Lastly, I’ve been to Next Generation prior for several piercings and a tattoo. I had a great experience with other professionals during those visits. The business as a whole seems great. I can’t say the same for Ed.

Experiencia fantástica: My son had his ears pierced in October at this business and recently we tried to change his earrings and we're having trouble getting new earrings into his ear. I took him up to the studio to buy new earrings because they said they would place them for us. When we arrived one of his piercings was very irritated so they suggested putting the piercing style earring back at and replaced them at no charge. I have been pierced and my husband tattooed at this studio and we are always impressed with their professionalism and kindness. Definitely recommend 100%!

This was the 3rd place I researched and decided on and i definitely made the right choice. Prices are super fair, the staff is extremely friendly and kind. I tend to get light headed and not feel to well with piercings and she was so sweet and made sure I was okay, she was also extremely gentle I didn't even flinch she was so gentle when doing them. Very clean and very affordable I didn't even have an appointment when I went and they got me in no problem! I'll definitely be back and I definitely recommend going it was a great experience and I love my piercings!!!

Experiencia negativa: i hate to leave a bad review because i don’t like to do it but i’ve had 3 piercings gone wrong here for me now. I can only provide a picture for one of them which was recent but i wanted the other side of my nostril pierced and it turned out really uneven, i had to take it out. I’ve also had a septum done here before and it was crooked, and i’ve had a nipple pierced and they used the smallest bar for it which did not allow any room at all to swell and when it swelled it was completely engulfed by the bar and i had to size up on it but they still only put a slightly longer bar in me and i ended up having to take it out. some of the people are really nice there but unfortunately i just won’t be getting anymore piercings there.

It was quite interesting to get to watch the process, too! Anna (I think that was her name), the piercer, was very polite and easygoing! Though the piercing turned out crooked, that was mainly because she used the previous scarred over holes (it was a re-piercing). She did offer to do it again, but my roommate wasn't willing to go through with the pain of it a third time for now (don't blame him lol)

Other studios felt dismissive, and like they didn't care, like I was just another churn and burn for the money, not a human. My first interaction at Next Generation was with a very nice guy (didn't catch his name, but had chill hippie vibes) who respected my questions and walked me through the process and explained things. When I returned a couple weeks later, he wasn't there, but Savannah was, and she showed caring as well, not dismissive at all, so I decided to go through with the piercings. She took her time, adjusted the mark before piercing several times, and showed no irritation to my persnickety personality. If everyone at this studio is this great, I'll definitely be coming back for some ink. Thank you so much Next Generation!

Experiencia negativa: I've been going here since I was 16 and the quality in my opinion has kind of decreased over time. Cory has done pretty much all my piercings and eveytime I go in he just seems less and less into it. he pierced my cheeks and while he did take his time and put in the proper sized bar length wise, the ball on the inside of my mouth was obnoxious and caused a lot more swelling than I expected, i appreciate an artists honesty and dont have a piercers knowledge, but the swelling was so intense i could not smile or hardly talk. i left them in for 3 days before i decided to do something. I went back and got the balls switched out by the other piercer (I think Savanah is her name) and she did me a huge favor. Cory not so much. the swelling went down almost immedietly after she switched them out. if you go, ask for savannah as she will probably be a bit more realistic with the jewelry she uses.

We each had a different artist so we could get it done at the same time and they coordinated well with each other to make sure the tattoos stayed matching despite each artists' personal style still showing. So not only is Lucas and amazing artist, his willingness to truly work with you your ideas and add his super cool and unique spin on it rivals no one I’ve met anywhere else. When I realized I felt horrible and immediately called up to Next Gen and spoke with Lucas. He was super cool and understanding. He was able to get my rescheduled and I’m very much looking forward to next Friday lol! So in closing, all the artists here have always been amazing, professional, and really open to my weird ideas and interests. If you’re looking for a good place where prices are fair, and you will get the best work for your money, I strongly recommend Next Generation.

Ed was amazing, thoughtful, respectful, considerate, and wildly helpful in giving guidance throughout the entire process. I will always be immensely grateful to you Ed! This was extremely important and meant a great deal to me. I was pretty apprehensive about the process. Ed was absolutely the right guy, at the right place, at the right time! I'll never forget it brother! The two photos, one is my daughter's tattoo with the black moon, the other with the white moon (the light) is the one Ed did. Experiencia negativa: Trash! Called ahead of time to drive down from republic for 2 nose piercings. Was told they pierce up until 8:15pm and we had time. Got there at 7:57pm only to be turned away. I told the owner? Or attitude worker guy that they had people come in front of us. I told him to mention that possibility on the phone and do their jobs right. Sucks for them because we actually tip quite well. Will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. Don’t need a small shop that wasn’t even that busy or closed to turn us away. Do your jobs work till closed. Don’t even bother replying either, just a tarnish on your 5 star outlook!

Experiencia negativa: First piercing I got there was nice, but the next two times I went they were harsh with my friend's piercing and almost made it uneven. I went for lip piercings and they made me feel pressured and didn't take the time to line up where the piercings would go. Lied to me about how to clean them every time I've went, and gave me the wrong jewelry for healing. Not ever planning on going back.

Experiencia fantástica: Billy is the best! This is my second time seeing him. He helped me and my sister in law with some stubborn piercings. Both times I saw Billy he was so kind, informative, and quick but not rushed! Definitely will be seeing him for my next piercings.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister in-law and I stopped in having trouble getting our earrings in. The manager Billy helped us re-pierce multiple holes, educated us, and did two new cartilage piercings in record time. He was so informative, helpful, and kind! We can’t wait to go back for more piercings!

Experiencia fantástica: Next Generation Tattoo is, in my opinion, the best tattoo shop in this city & the artists that work there are all great. I have ongoing tattoos in progress and 2 artists who are working on those and I got my earlobes pierced by the owner's son 9/23/2023. The hoops are doing well (I just checked in with them 09/24/2023 and they are doing great so far (it takes 4 months before the "spacers" can be put in) and thats the quality of care they provide and you can expect when you go there. Great Artists Great service and great customer service and support. thanks to everyone 10+++++++

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and a friend wanted to get the cartilage of their ears pierced and we tried contacting multiple locations with high reviews. Next Generation answered their phone and offered walk-ins, they were courteous and welcoming on the phone so we chose to pay them a visit. Walking in the location was a decent size and brightly lit and painted, it was clean and a member of the staff greeted us kindly and asked how they could help. The only negative comment I could make was the smell. I personally have severe allergies and someone, possibly a client had been smoking recently and the smell lingered inside. I am sensitive and so it may not bother other non-smokers. Once we told the staff why we were there we were introduced to Savannah who was polite, informative, and quite skilled with both my wife and friend saying it was nearly painless, it was quick and easy. Both agreed that they would prefer to return here for any future piercings. My wife's piercing became irritated and when we called Next gen they told us to come in and they would look at it for free. They inspected the irritation and gave us a cleaning solution and talked to us about things to watch for and things that could irritate it that we hadn't thought of, like sleeping on it. They were super helpful and I highly recommend them. They offered continuing support and they are super friendly and knowledgeable!

Experiencia fantástica: I've gone to next generation for all of my tattoos but had my first piercing with them today. Billy was my piercer and he was incredibly professional and informative about what to expect from the piercing and how to care for it and above all else he was very kind and approachable making it easy to get all of my questions answered. I always have a great experience when I go to next generation!

Experiencia fantástica: I had my cartilage pierced by Anna last week and the ball came off so I went back and they replaced the ball for free. I decided to get another cartilage piercing under the 1st and Billy did that one. Both piercer's were super helpful and absolutely amazing! I'm already thinking about what I can get done next

Experiencia negativa: I had an infinity tattoo with ‘mom and ‘dad on it a couple years ago. It looks like a beginner did it. I also mentioned that I had wanted the symbol to look like a ribbon. Also, the lines are not good. The artist told me too bad, he had just put his inks away and that the next time I came in for another tattoo, he would fix this one for free. I felt like I was not well treated because I’m in my 60’s. I don’t have bad skin either. I felt like I was treated like the artist didn’t care about me. Every time I look at this, it makes me mad.
