Experiencia negativa: Would give zero stars if I could. Took my 16 yr old daughter here to get her vertical labret done a year or so ago, the girl did it at an angle and its crooked. She acknowledged it and offered to redo it, but my daughter didn't really care at the time and so we let it go. Today my daughter wanted to get a septum piercing done and couldn't find anywhere else that had availability accept here(wonder why...) so we went back(against my advice). The same girl(I think their only piercer at the location) did the septum, the process looked way rougher than what we've seen and she bled a lot. She looks at it in the mirror, and its super crooked. The lady acknowledges it again, and offers to redo it. Now I'm pissed. I ask to talk to the manager, because I'm thinking he should know that she needs more training, or something. He does nothing but makes excuses, saying these two piercings often have to be done twice to get it right. We had them take it out and they said they would refund the cost. Between two people that have/had multiple different types of piercings and experience with other businesses, I truly don't believe its that common for these types of mistakes. I fully accept the "fool me twice shame on me" blame for this second one, but wanted to hopefully save others from this place. I don't care how impatient you or your teen may be, do not get a piercing here.

My daughter didn't have the correct jewelry from piercing her own ears and selecting jewelry elsewhere and the backing of the earring started to grow inside of her ear.Mariah got them out quickly and with the least pain possible.Mariah pretty much performed surgery right in the shop only charged $20 for the procedure and I purchased the correct jewelry for a reasonable price.I highly recommend Mariah for all your piercing needs.Thank you, you were a life saver today!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. i went in for a second eyebrow piercing. he put the gloves on and had to leave the room for something. never changed his gloves. when i looked at it i asked about the bar not being long enough and told it would be fine. i tried explaining i know it’ll swell over because my first one swelled a lot and he struggled to put the needle through, causing more swelling. didnt give me another bar. one day i woke to my eye being swelled over the bar and the screw missing. i also went in for a bridge piercing. they gave me a huge tongue bar for my face that caused it to reject and move anytime i tilted my head. it’s unsanitary, unprofessional, and over priced.

Being my first experience, I really appreciated her. From my initial contact with Nate, to the receptionist, and of course Ty, I felt comfortable; they all were so friendly and helpful. Experiencia negativa: Long story short: the shop is overpriced and under skilled, albeit hygienic—spend your money somewhere else. Reasoning: came here four years ago for some very basic line work on back/shoulders when I didn’t know shit about tattoos nor their pricing. Lines were curved, uneven, and the skin is raised from being overworked.

Experiencia negativa: I got my nose pierced on 9/30 with the standard silver for $50. Since then I've been using the saline wash twice daily as instructed and have kept the area clean but the area is starting to keloid. My friend just got hers done about 2 weeks ago at this establishment and was told by them not to purchase the standard silver because it usually makes African American skin keloid so she opted for the $75 upgrade jewelry that prevents this. I am also African American but was not given the same education. So since I obviously should've purchased the upgraded jewelry I would have been able to save $50. If the employees are educated properly they should educate the customers better. Very disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: I have come here a few times, on a reccomendation from a few people. I have gotten 2 tattoos and 3 piercings here. While I have no issues with the tattoos I have gotten here- I adore them, and think the artist did a wonderful job (3+ years ago). The problem I have is with the 1 piercing I had done at this particular location. Unfortunately, i do not remember the piercers name (male), but, I went in for a septum piercing, and while the staff were professional, and very considerate, I feel that I should have been informed that the jewelry I had picked out was too small to fit (the "seamless" ring couldn't even be closed fully) and would not accommodate any swelling, at all. Now, I know that the jewelry being too small couldn't have been told to me untill after my sweet spot was found, none the less, I could have left with not only the cute jewelry I had picked out; albeit not as septum jewelry because of where I assume my "sweet spot" is, and is still usefull, but an.... appropriately sized piece of jewelry to heal with. I was told by the person who did my piercing that "if it did swell, just come back, and we'll change it out". Well, As a result of the jewelry being too small, the following day, the swelling caused the jewelry to cut into my nose. I now not only have to heal a piercing, but heal a ring-shape cut in my nose. Now, I know swelling is different for everyone, even varies by piercing, but to install a peice of jewelry that couldn't even be closed, let alone was pressing into my skin even before the swelling started seems... not right. Thankfully, I was able to see a piercer to get it changed, and it was shocking, to say the least, to see the look on their face when they examined it and expressed sympathy. My most major concern at that moment was to ascertain if I was pierced in my sweet spot or in the cartilage, but because of the swelling, and state of the surrounding tissue, I was not able to get an answer to that question. Personally, I would reccomend this place for tattooing, but not piercings, from my experience. Update 10/30/25: I was pierced in the cartilage. A year later it still could not be rotated freely unless wet, any mild pushing/moving (blowing nose) is uncomfortable. It could not be hidden by rotating it up, or down (placement/anatomy). It is still. Not. Healed.

Experiencia negativa: Went in here the two guys up front was very nice, however when i went back to get my piercing the girl was extremely rude and unfriendly. she didn’t introduce herself at all so not sure of name. I got my tongue done and she didn’t really check where the piercing was going to end up at the bottom which is extremely important considering there’s nerves and veins there. She didn’t double check where she was piercing my tongue. After the jewelry was on she didn’t care one bit about what it looked like. She also didn’t tell me any aftercare to keep the piercing clean. Luckily i’ve had it done before and know what to do, but if i didn’t this would be a serious issue. She was young probably early-mid 20s. I won’t be returning to this place.

Experiencia positiva: Got my belly button done there. Clean environment and polite people. Unfortunately, I had to go to my doctor because I thought it was infected, but it wasn't infected, my body was rejecting the jewelry because it wasn't pierced at the right depth or angle for my belly button and the skin thinned out until the jewelry was no longer in. Nothing against them, my doctor said it can happen, but once it is fully healed and my doctor gives me the okay, I will probably go somewhere else for my new piercing.

If you’d have told me either of us would have tattoos one day I’d have laughed in your face, but here we are. It means a lot to us to have this memory of my grandmother in her own hand. We both have comically low pain tolerances, but we handled it like champs. If you’ve never had a tattoo before the cat scratch analogy is pretty spot on, but it doesn’t linger (at least not the style and placement we got). Corey was thankfully patient with my OCD when it came to placing the stencils. I also got three piercings with Mariah who was equally patient explaining how the placement of my helix piercing would look based on the anatomy of my ear. The studio was sleek and clean, Nate is a solid emcee at the front desk, and overall the vibe is chill and easy. We were walks-ins and the whole process clipped along. If you’re thinking about it, do it. Thanks all! $: the price range reflects two small tatts for myself, three piercings, and the jewelry.

Experiencia negativa: READ THE REVIEWS, wish I had. I don't think I'll ever be going back to either location. 3 separate shops I've contacted; phone call and email (to provide pictures), have all unanimously agreed that this shop used incorrect sized jewelry for a healing piercing, TWICE, on TWO seperate occasions. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but it was a different piercer, so i took my chances, and i was wrong. The first time i had to have jewelry changed out I was told they would change it free of charge, which is great, but the entire time the person was making rude remarks and comments, telling me i wasn't following cleaning care if it was this swollen and surprise, I was. During this session they had to gauge up my peircing for the bigger jewelry, and surprisingly, The jewelry still wasn't large enough to accommodate swelling leading me to go back a 3rd time. The 3rd time was an absolute breeze, and very informative, with jewelry large enough to accommodate the current and any further swelling. The 3rd person was super professional, kind, and I wish i had been able to be pierced by that person. This leads me to the second mishap. I'm not sure if it's noteworthy, but every other time I've been here outside of this particular time, I've paid for services after a tattoo or peircing, and this time i paid for them beforehand. So, now that I have facts agreed upon by multiple reputable shops, I was not only pierced incorrectly, the jewelry is also much too small to accommodate swelling. I now know that the jewelry i picked out was not the type to put in a healing piercing, and i should have been informed of that, leading to two seperate people telling me they were most likely looking for a sale. Im fine with the making a sale. I'm quite angry with not being informed that i should have had different jewelry for healing, as not only would i have still made my purchase, but now i need to get a very sore, swollen area messed with, and possibly have to remove it entirely and let it heal entirely before trying again because of the placement... The front desk staff was very perfessional, the piercer was quite nice, but the overall lack of explanation and improper foresight on both occasions is frustrating. UPDATE: Thank you for your response, but I'm not looking for a refund. What's done is done. The first instance of not long enough jewelry caused a rejection, and some bad scar tissue, that i now know cant be re-pierced. The second instance i was pierced incorrectly, and had to remove the jewelry. I'm just looking to share my experience.

Experiencia negativa: Contacted Allen Blackwell for a my son's first tattoo. He said he could definitely do it and scheduled a time and date. We arrived for the tattoo he was 40mins late. When he finally showed he had another guy come in and told us that he only had us scheduled for an hour tattoo and the one we wanted would take at least 3. He said to reschedule for a day he had more time to really get the tattoo right. We reschedule for the following week. We arrived for our second appointment and he was late again as well. The guy at the front desk called him and he said he was on his way. 2 hours later Allen never showed. The guy called him again and he said he was just about to leave the house. This guy is very unprofessional and highly unreliable. If you really want a tattoo by a great artist, don't waste your time here.

Experiencia fantástica: Mariah does a fantastic job with piercings. My older daughter came to her for a nose piercing and it was such a great experience I brought my littlest in for ear piercing. My little has some special needs and I wasn't sure how it would go but because Mariah is patient and calm it went so well. She did a great job explaining things and moving at her pace. I would highly recommend her to other mamas of neurodivergent kiddos.

To start I was a walk in, they fit me in right away, they were fun and professional. My experience was fantastic, when I'm nervous I ramble like crazy and She was so patient with me, made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. I had a small scare about a week and a half after, when I accidentally broke the diamond off the top earing on my right ear. I came in and they helped me immediately, replace it and make sure it wasn't infected. Extremely pleased with my experience and when I get brave enough, I will defiantly be booking an appointment for a tattoo from here!

Experiencia negativa: I was visiting FW and decided to spur of the moment get something done. I got a piercing done here and I had a very pleasant experience however once I made it back home I noticed after about a week my body was not agreeing with the piercing/jewlery. I went to another shop locally to have it checked out and was told my piercing was done too shallow along with the jewelry used for my body in particular was not a good fit and it was suggested to take it out as it was ripping the piercing. I called the shop just to make them aware of my experience and was told that just because another piercer looked at it and said it was wrong doesn’t mean that it’s wrong because piercing isn’t an exact science. Completely ignoring the fact that I stated multiple piercers checked it and I was told the same thing. No shade to the actual piercer because she was a gem but please make sure if you’re getting something done that the jewelry is tailored to your body and piercing. Whoever running that front desk should not be so inclined to tell people they are wrong because they have an issue. Being told I was “the first person to ever call in with this issue about this particular piercing” doesn’t make what I experienced false or that what I was told by other shops was essentially wrong. I was offered to come in and get it redone for free but I’m good with not doing that.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had multiple tattoos done at this location and the one at the mall. I recently got a piece done over a week ago and it is puffy, red, and inflamed, itchy and burns, even though I have been cleaning it with antibacterial soap and putting aquafor on it. I have 8+ tattoos and have never had a reaction like this. I went to the doctor and she said it was infected and put me on antibiotics. When I went in to talk to them about it they blew off my problem and said it wasn’t infected and was healing fine. One guy even went on to say that he still has some tattoo pain from an old tattoo he got years ago. This place screams old ink, uncleanliness, and unprofessionalism.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend Mariah enough for piercing when it comes to little kids! We have been in twice now with my 6 year old daughter. The first trip, Mariah explained everything very well and made my daughter feel like she was in control of how and when each ear was pierced. We were in and out pretty quick. Unfortunately, a few months later the first time we switched out the earrings, the new one fell out and the hole closed over night. So we needed to go back a second time. This time my daughter had worked herself up and was very nervous. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon but you never would have known with the way Mariah worked with my daughter. She took her time and made her feel like she was the only client there for the day. She never pushed my daughter into getting the piercing, just gave her options on how to do it, and hyped her up talking about how brave she was and everything. I think we were in the room for about 30 minutes. Maybe even longer. Mariah never once acted frustrated or tried to rush us out. She is very patient and wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend her enough. I will never take my kids or myself to anyone else.

Experiencia fantástica: We went to Mariah on Grade A on Clinton to have our 7 year old daughters ears pierced and she did an incredible job. Our daughter ended up getting pretty nervous, almost changed her mind, and there were a lot of tears! Mariah was patient, encouraging and very sweet to her. She kept telling her, “You can do this!” And did I say patient?? It took a while to convince our girl to go through with it but we left with two pierced ears and a happy girl! Thanks, Mariah! Everything was also very clean, professional, and high quality. We highly recommend!!

Experiencia negativa: 0/10 don’t recommend. I’ve had my nose pierced for about 4 years. I wanted to change my nose ring so I went to them for them to change it. Their piercer shoved the ring through my nose & then thereafter I’ve been having a reaction to their jewelry. I went back in and the customer service was HORRIBLE because they weren’t trying to listen to the fact that I’ve been had my nose pierced and never had a reaction until I put THEIR jewelry in. They won’t accommodate you for anything….. DON’T go for any service they offer….. not worth it !!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I got my nose pierced here couple months ago for my second nose piercing and I can’t remember the lady who did my piercing but she did it wrong. When I change my nose ring I have to find the second hole inside of my nose and it takes me a while to find and I have to force my nose ring through the second hole because the second hole is further down because the two holes do not line up and it gets really irritated and it leads to an infection because I have to find the second hole inside my nose. My nose piercing has gotten infected 3 times after getting it done. Luckily I got the infection to go away. My nose gets really irritated at the smallest things because the piercing was not done right. When I move my nose ring it hurts to move it to open it to clean my piercing and it feels like there is some resistance when moving my nose ring unlike my first nose ring and it feels like it gets caught on the skin inside of my nose. Now I have to take the nose ring out and let it close and let it heal. I just see it as a waste of my money.
