Experiencia fantástica: Hi I got my belly button pierced probably about a month and a half ago I love the instructions the lady had given me and the receptionists was very helpful on helping me with what jewelry I wanted… the only thing I got upset about was paying another 20.00 when the piercer switched up on me and I didn’t know till I had left because you have to prepay… I did get my refund but at that time I was really really upset. I had to call in about some redness and a weird bump next to my jewelry. Everything is fine no bad experience just worried I will be in Tuesday thank you

Experiencia negativa: Disappointing piercing experience. My friend and I went to get ear piercings. We had each used Justin in the past but went on a day when Jen was working thinking it would be fine. We had to pay up front and pre-tip, which is always frustrating, but we assumed it would be a good experience. When we got back there, it was evident that Jen was sick which made us both uncomfortable. We work with vulnerable kids and try to avoid illness whenever possible. We would have left and returned a different day except we had already paid and tipped. My friend’s piercing went fine but mine was rough. One of the earrings, I learned when I got home, was put in at a terrible angle. It was like she tried to put it in almost sideways. We’ve both had a much harder healing than before (when Justin pierced us) and I wound up having to take mine out due to pain and also because one of them was so poorly angled. We followed the care instructions and both have many piercings so it’s not like we don’t know the importance of after care. I don’t know if she was off because she was sick or what, but I’m very disappointed in the experience and outcome. I will continue to recommend body tech to friends for piercing but will assure them that that need to see Justin as he is top-notch.

Experiencia negativa: Some of the staff are really helpful and sweet, there’s a lady who helped me with advice for a piercing but I’ve noticed that they all give different instructions on how to clean and take care of the same piercing and it gets confusing. I also just went there to buy some jewelry for it and I was told no because I shouldn’t change it just yet, it’s been long enough and healed but regardless I agreed and said I would change it in due time. I was denied to purchase jewelry for my own body.

Experiencia negativa: given a way too short bar resulting in constant irritation bumps with my eyebrow. didn’t feel like there was care especially given it being a first time eyebrow piercing. ended up removing the piercing and will have to wait for it to heal before piercing my eyebrow again.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my belly pierced by Justin on a Monday, and then came back that weekend for my Lotus tattoo by Bradley. The quality of both the work and the customer service was great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: Sooo I called prior to coming in and it was a very valid price! I had my “angel fangs” done alongside my septum. Justin Berk really takes much pride in his work. He made sure over and over that it was okay, alongside making sure that I loved it. They also provided saline solution to help heal and clean my piercings efficiently. I will definitely be back! I absolutely loved the whole process, for anyone wondering from my perspective; 5-6/10 for my angel fangs, and my septum was like a 6/10!

Experiencia negativa: Justin was horrible. Went in a few months ago and he was extremely rude and condescending for one. Secondly, I pitched a piece of jewelry for my conch, (which later caused an allergic reaction so bad my skin split open behind my ear) he goes to put it in my piercing which i previously had and was OPEN and i felt a pinch. Just for him to tell me the whole was closed and he “had to re-pierce it for me” without my consent or even telling me before hand. Horrible experience and I would advise anyone with half a brain to go literally anywhere else.

Experiencia negativa: I got my earlobes pierced a month ago here. I have a preference for needle piercings, but didn't know I had to make that clear with the receptionist beforehand (because they don't ask). So, I paid $ 70 to get my ears pierced with a piercing gun. The piercings havent healed and are still pussing :(

I have had tattoos from Laz and Josiah and love everything about the business the professionalism and the tattoos are superb. I HIGHLY recommend going here even as a walk in you will be welcomed as though you had an appointment!

Experiencia negativa: I was warned about this place and I didn’t head their warning. First of all, they only take cash which to me was the first red flag. Then when asked what their jewelry was made of all they could say was surgical steel and couldn’t answer what the gold ones were plated with. And lastly, my 5 year old daughter got her ears pierced and we were under strick instructions not to turn or touch the piercing in any way while it was healing. We were told to simply spray their H2O spray twice daily and make sure to get both sides. Well here we are 4 months out, the piercings have not healed and now pus coming out of one side. Not sure if it was the tools, the jewelry, or the instructions but I will not be coming back here and I recommend you get pierced elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Got a tattoo done here, beautiful piece of artwork, great experience, no issues. Piercings, however? I will never get pierced here ever again. Came in as a walk-in for a third earlobe piercing, they used a piercing gun, the earring post is way too short, and they used a butterfly back which I'm learning are horrible for new piercings. I have followed all the directions given to me by the letter and I'm actively bleeding and leaking fluid as I'm typing this. I had a lot of people tell me not to get pierced here and I'm starting to see why.

Experiencia fantástica: Let me tell you about Steve—hands down the best tattoo artist I’ve ever met. Before finding him, I had been to two other artists. The first was for my 18th birthday, and unfortunately, they didn’t warn me that what I wanted wouldn’t age well (Steve recently covered that one up, and it looks a million times better now). The second artist did great work, but we just didn’t click personality-wise. I met Steve through someone I was dating at the time, and I stopped by to ask him about getting a Figment tattoo from Disney. His excitement was immediate—he already had designs drawn up! Two weeks later, I was in his chair getting it done, and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve now gotten five pieces from him—six if you count a small gap filler—and every experience has been top-notch. What sets Steve apart is his communication and honesty. He makes sure you love the design before putting it on your body, and if you suggest something that might not age well, he’ll tell you straight up. He genuinely cares about his clients, checks in during the session, and makes sure you’re comfortable—something my previous artists never did. At this point, I trust him so much that I can just text him, “Can you draw something that matches?” and go with whatever he comes up with. And every time, it turns out perfect. If you’re looking for an artist who’s not just talented but also kind, professional, and invested in their work, Steve is your guy.

The shop is super clean, staff is always kind and professional and it must be a good place to work because the artists seem to stick around (always a good sign). Laz did my most reason tattoo there this past weekend and I could not be more pleased. He was patient and open to feedback. He had a great sense of humor and guided me with what would look best, age well and gave great post care tips. 5 stars all the way, thank you Bodytech (and Laz, Lizzy and Kyle!) I will definitely keep coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: Mel did a few piercings for me a few weeks ago… when I say HANDS DOWN BEST EXPERIENCE!! Healed very nicely, no discharge, crusties or anything and these piercings can definitely have all those issues and they did the first time I had them done years ago! Mel is so informative and fun! Experiencia negativa: Another reason not to go to bodytech they were rude to my niece telling her her nose was unsymmetrical the whole time but in reality the piercer couldn't get the piercings even now we had to take it out and we're definitely going to anatomic body piercing I recommend them greatly

Experiencia fantástica: Took my daughter to get her her belly pierced and she loves it. The people are really nice and informative. The guy that pierced her was a little cocky but still really cool. He said if there was any swelling in the next 2weeks bring her in and they would switch out her bar for a longer one no charge. We actually just got back from doing that yesterday. He got it changed with very little pain and now she is on the road to healing. Pricing wasn't bad either $49 total

Experiencia positiva: The gentleman who did the piercing was extremely nice and professional. The only downside was, he used a piercing gun for the ears instead of a piercing needle. I wish I would’ve known before, I took the 30 minute drive but that was my fault for not asking when I called. I would recommend 100% if it wasn’t for the piercing gun.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was 10/10 I went during a Friday the 13th flash sale event and the line was rather long but I was seen fairly quickly. My tattoo was not drawn by the artist who tattooed me however the David did an amazing job at capturing this tattoo for me and I even requested a change of lettering and sizing and was able to do that during a sale event which was amazing. I highly recommend this place and will be back for more art in the future

Experiencia fantástica: I got my first piercing here and Mel pierced my nose. She did so good. I ended up losing the ball on my nose piercing so they gave me a clip piercing so it was easy to put in whenever I need to. Then I ended up losing that piercing so after awhile of not having a piercing I went back for my birthday first tattoo (done by Cody who I reccomend along with Mel) and Mel repierced my nose so well there’s not even a second hole! I really wanna shoutout these two!

I would see the owner regularly walking around looking at the overall work of the tattoo artists which showed me he cares about the artists he hires and the quality of work that comes out of his shop. The overall staff was friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Without a doubt what made my experience unbelievable was my tattoo artist Lizzii. I came in with a picture of what I thought I wanted and came out with a custom one of a kind tattoo. Lizzii explained the process, asked what was important to me, recommended how we could make the tattoo better as far as size and placement. In short, with her experience, talent and execution my tattoo is more than I could have dreamed. Best shop, unbelievable artist - thank you Bodytech for an unforgettable experience.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT COME HERE!!!! The piercer I got didn’t bother to tell me that I didn’t have the right anatomy for a belly piercing (i found this out myself after one year of constant irritation/infection), she didn’t even pierce it straight (it was lopsided) and now I have to get it removed and may have a scar there forever. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!!!!! I cannot empathize this enough.

Justin was fantastic in helping me through it, helping me not be as embarrassed, and coaching me through finishing the piercing. The young man behind the counter was so helpful with helping us pick out the jewelry that we wanted for our piercing's. Our Piercer, Mel, is on point! I know this is crazy but I'm on day two of my piercing and it does not hurt at all. She did a wonderful job. Experiencia fantástica: I went there a while ago for an ear piercing. My dad got many tattoos there, and my brother got a tongue piercing at the same place. My dad and other patrons had some bad experiences with a staff member called Justin, as he either didn't do what was requested or flirted with my dad's wives. (Different wives at different times) But I've had a good experience there, just avoid Justin.

He was also friendly and nice to chat with through the process. Definitely a great experience and we’re already looking forward to going back again.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my septum pierced here when I was 16. My parents set it up so I had not been there before but the women who did my piercing made me feel comfortable. She also explained the significant difference between a shorter Piercing, and a bigger piercing. At the time I was unaware that the small piercing was ideal for healing at the beginning. It was super quick she also made my dad and step mom feel comfortable and let them take pictures. After she explained ways to clean it and not to move it around much. I’m turning 18 in a few months with my septum still intact. It has never stunk or hurt after the few months I got it pierced and because of that, I’m thinking of returning to get more piercings and possibly a tattoo. There are so many different people that work there and it was explained to me and my father, very well, which helped as it was my first time in a tattoo or piercing shop, and the people working made me feel very comfortable.

Experiencia negativa: Got a tattoo here and they were pretty good, but came back for a couple piercings with my friends and had an awful experience. The piercer was mean, literally physically pushy while doing the piercings, and made an inappropriate comment at my friend. Not to mention that he pierced my tragus with a curved bar and I had to get it professionally fixed (so painful because it never healed due to that).

Experiencia fantástica: First time visiting here. Was busy mid evening on a Friday night. I was after a surgical steel hoop earring with screw on balls at both ends. They had exactly what I was looking for. Staff greeted and helped me right away upon entering. Appeared to be clean. Staff was sure to clean/sanitize my new earring despite it already being in a plastic bag. That was much appreciated. I can't vouch for any tattoo work but seemed to be busy with tattoos and piercings. If you need any body jewelry, check here first. I'll for sure be back! Thanks for a great first impression! If you need a distraction before, during, or after any tattoo or piercing work, the smoke shop next door was also a great first impression with a variety of items and attentive, courteous staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome experience! Piercing by super chill Melissa. She knows EXACTLY what she’s doing. Not only did it not hurt, almost fully healed within 2 days! It’s now been 14 days since and things still going great. She explained everything, was TOTALLY patient and made herself available for any upcoming questions. Highly recommend. BTW, Bodytech did not know (& still doesn’t unless reads this review) that just 5 minute earlier, a place only 0.5 miles east of them tried to explain why my navel was not good for piercing but I simply didn’t understand. They (individual) actually turned me down… sent me on my way with no extra hole in my tummy skin. Okay,, do what you feel is best I guess. Seems CYA overkill to me, especially now. But I’m certainly no expert. Independently, two people at Bodytech told me exactly the opposite when I exposed the place where mom & I used to be one…. asking, "does it look alright to do it?” (perhaps I’ll add photo someday but nothing unusual, as far as I see… a run of the mill ‘inny button) As said, things going swimmingly and I’m so HAPPY I bought the prettiest jewelry. It’s only money and I feel thankful, blessed and beautiful every time I see it. Thanks Bodytech and thank you Melissa!

Experiencia fantástica: got my daith pierced by jennifer. she was literally the best piercer i’ve ever gone to and i’ve been to numerous across the east coast. she made what’s supposed to be one of the most painful piercings you can get into a quick, easy experience. the piercing was done and the jewelry was put in all in under a minute. she also gave me tips on how to style my piercings and gave me jewelry suggestions. 1000% will be going back to her!!

He was addressed all my concerns and made me feel so comfortable. I love my new ink so freaking much. Sarah is helping me with a tattoo removal and she was so friendly. I didn’t even feel the tattoo removal I was in and out in approximately 5 minutes. It was quick and truly painless. Bodytech rocks the staff here are amazing and make you feel like family.

Experiencia fantástica: Justin is the only person I go to for piercings. I had 9 piercings originally and none of the past piercers felt like a right fit. After getting a helix with Justin I immediately got 3 more piercings by him that day. Hes the first piercer I felt fully comfortable and confident with in getting the placement perfect without feeling like I was bothering him.

I was really nervous but she answered all of my questions and I never felt like I was bothering her. Experiencia negativa: Got my ears pierced here, went well until about 2 months in today and I had to take my lobe jewelry out, the guy used a butterfly back instead of a flat back, the bar itself was definitely not long enough to accommodate swelling or cleaning behind it, I should've been more clear on what I wanted but I trusted him stupidly because he seemed like he knew what he was doing. I did all the cleaning correctly, and the aftercare went well until now. He told me when I got the piercings to not remove them to clean them. So I didn't, and dead skin collected in the back of the jewelry, and today it was hurting so bad I took it out.blood and lymph fluid everywhere, it was disgusting. Thank God it wasn't infected, but it definitely could have been. Waiting for new jewelry in the mail and hoping my lobes wont close up before I can change the jewelry. Stay away from butterfly backs for new piercings. Bad bad idea. I did my research before hand but I didn't listen to myself, so I blame both parties. But the piercers here should know better which jewelry is best. Unprofessional communication to say the least, definitely won't come back.

Experiencia fantástica: A few years ago Melissa pierced my third lobe and I was very happy to see her last night. I came in just for someone to help me change my jewelry and I walk out last night with my 21st and 22nd piercing. Melissa did a conch on both sides, she is so quick and friendly. I have never had a problem with the lobe piercings she did a while ago and they healed great. If you want to get something pierced please come see Melissa I truly trust her.

My artist was Cody. He was awesome. Took his time with me and gave me exactly what I was looking for. He was also amazing in conversation. The receptionist was friendly and told me I could just walk-in! The process of checking in and filling out paperwork was quick and easy. I didn’t wait long at all and got to appreciate all the wall art in the waiting room. Justin was really nice and made sure I was comfortable while I got my second lobes done. The room is very clean and he is very professional. It’s cash only and they have an ATM inside. I highly recommend Bodytech :)

Experiencia negativa: I got my bridge pierced here and had to take it out immediately due to several errors making my piercing extremely likely to reject later. Justin Berk pierced me with a 16g curved barbell when it should've been a straight 14 gauge. The piercing itself was too shallow (according to a piercer at another shop) and it is likely that due to my anatomy he probably shouldn’t have done the piercing at all. I do admit I should’ve asked more questions to verify that Justin knew what he was doing, but that’s on me for assuming this shop hires experienced professionals.

Experiencia fantástica: Went and got my daughter (5) ears pierced today. Justin the piercer was so kind and patient with her. He explained everything he was gonna do and showed her how and what he was using. He also told her im not gonna touch you until you say you are ready. When she said i am ready he peirced her ears it was quick and percise. She was a little nervous going in but the way he spoke to her calmed her down quick. The process of filling out the paperwork, picking her ear rings ( which they had a nice selection of kids earrings) and her getting them done was less than 30 mintues. Very happy with the experience and definitely will recommend in the future.

Experiencia positiva: Melissa is a great piercer very informative and caring, she did my nipple piercings. However the receptionists at the front are RUDE AF. One is a middle aged white woman who looks so dead inside, & projects that unto paying costumers. The other one answered a phone cal mid convo and wasn't very welcoming at all! I paid $20 deposit for a tattoo & when i tried to call to reschedule my appt the phones weren't working at all!!! smh very unprofessional here.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to Bodytech twice in the past few years, once for a piercing and yesterday for a tattoo. Both times they did fantastic. Yesterday I went in as a walk in with a drawing and saw Jeremiah. In an hour, I had a completed tattoo on me. Very clean, very professional, very cool people. Place also has an aesthetically pleasing design. I will be returning to Jeremiah for tattoos in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: I've gotten several tattoos and piercings here. They are clean and trustworthy. In fact, a couple months after I got my nose pierced, my dog kicked me in the face and ripped the top part off (that wasn't fun). I was able to drive right over and they helped me replace the top of the piercing right then. There is always a bit of a wait and there are no walk-ins available for tattoos. Also, they only accept cash, so bring some or be ready to pay a fee at the atm. This is a great place if you are looking for a place to get your first tattoo. And more, of course. But I wish I'd gone here for my first. I was so intimidated when I walked in to the place where I got my first but I've never felt like that here.

Experiencia fantástica: BodyTech and Melissa are top notch! Melissa pierced our younger daughter’s ears today, and almost our older daughter’s too before last minute she decided she wasn’t ready. Melissa was kind, honest, patient, sweet, and fun! She did not make us feel rushed at all with other customers waiting. Our littler one’s ears are perfectly pierced (and she is absolutely thrilled and so excited), and we know exactly where we will go when our older one is ready. Thank you BodyTech and Melissa!!!

Experiencia fantástica: got my nostril pierced last night as a walk-in and the experience was lovely. i haven't had anything professionally pierced before so i was a little nervous but the piercer was very straightforward and confident so i calmed down a lot. their corkscrew jewelry is pretty affordable, but they also offer flatbacks for a higher price. i will definitely be coming back!!

I have a decent amount of pain tolerance but even so I believe with her hand it will be quick painless to anybody. Very profesional, clean environment, nice bathroom. The shop was super clean. The bathroom was immaculate. Cristina did an amazing job and gave me exactly what I wanted. She gave me her opinion and guidance which I truly appreciate. She was super friendly and easy to work with.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to see Sarah for Laser Tattoo Removal, and had a wonderful experience. The shop is really nice inside & spacious. There's a lot of intriguing art on the walls and the place is beautiful. There's a pretty large waiting area as well for people to wait with you while you get work done, and they even have a game and photobooth in the waiting room, too. Sarah was absolutely wonderful, and she's an Angel. I've had a massive Star tattoo on my chest for years, and she was so kind and caring during my session to remove it. I have chronic pain and nerve issues, and she was so understanding, sweet, and took her time to make sure I was comfortable. She really went out of her way to make sure I was in as little pain as possible, and I really appreciated that. I'm so thankful to find her - she's the best! If you need Tattoo Removal - I definitely highly recommend Sarah & Bodytech. If you want a Tattoo - They are great for that, too!

The artist, Melissa, was wonderful, very nice, and added a little humor to keep my daughter calm. She was quick and the piercing turned out beautifully. The front desk staff were friendly and very accomodating Their starter jewelry was very reasonably priced, and they had so many beautiful options to choose from in the higher priced jewelry. My daughter absolutely loves it, and she was very well informed on how to care for it and keep it clean. We will definitely be returning for our future piercing and tattoo needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was really professional and I was seen in a timely manner. I don't remember his name, but the artist that did my tattoo back in April of 2019 was amazing. My tattoo came out beautiful. I had drawn a picture of Yosemite Sam as a memorial for my dad. He loved the cartoon character and also had it tattooed on his left arm. So mine was done on the same arm. I've had another tattoo done by Bodytech back in 2007. I'm very pleased with their work. I recommend ANYONE to go there. Whether it's a tattoo or piercing, that's where you need to go.
