Artist Jeff Simon has a level of talent that is unmatched and is just all around a good human who I very much look up to. They are true pillars of the local tattoo community and I have the utmost respect for them.

Experiencia fantástica: I found Anchored art on IG it the artistvi wanted had his books closed. It took me 2 yrs to get in but he kept in touch the entire time through posts. So many things went into this piece. A memorial for my best friend ,ribbon to commemorate 2 separate cancer ribbons amd so much more. But the most amazing thing is through talking during our sessions it came up my fiancee,tattoo free, was getting 3 black dots to guide his radiation treatments and when Jeremy did the line work he incorporated 3 black dots. I can't ever express how special this was. I also can't wait to have more work done on my arm. Jeremy is probably the best I've come across on this area but that cant take away from the talented artist he's brought together in the shop all some of the best around. The shop is clean and everyone so friendly. Anchored art is definitely a class act shop.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had several pieces done by artists at Anchored Art. I have traveled to Spokane twice from California and have had work done by Jeremy in California twice as well. Every experience has been nothing short of amazing. My first piece was in 2019 and done by Jeremy Corns. He did a beautiful color realism coverup over a nine year old butterfly I had on my leg. That tattoo is a red-spotted blue butterfly sitting atop a purple coneflower. It looks just as beautiful today as when it was originally done. My next visit was in March of 2023. I had three pieces done by Reggie, a drawing of a hummingbird my daughter had done on my inner leg, a small stylized Gemini constellation on my inner wrist and a floral and butterfly piece filling my inner forearm. I’ve known Reggie for many years and he was funny and professional. He did extremely clean work. I love the pieces that he did and I get complimented on the inner arm piece regularly. Also in March of 2023, Jeremy did another color realism piece on the out side of my other leg. He did a hummingbird on an orange rose in remembrance of both of my grandmothers. That piece is vibrant and so realistic. I love the way it turned out and it pops off of my skin. Then in May 2024, Jeremy came to Oakland, California for a day guest spot at Temple Tattoo. I was fortunate enough to book the full day with him. At that time, I decided I wanted to add onto the hummingbird and rose piece on my leg. I gave him pretty much creative liberty. We decided on adding a pink poppy(I love poppies) and a purple larkspur(my daughter’s birth flower) to my leg. Jeremy was able to add the pink poppy that day. The studio was really cool and nostalgic, but I wasn’t as comfortable, physically, as I was at Anchored Art previously. I was really happy with the work that was done that day. I was again lucky enough to book another full day with Jeremy at the Capital City Classic Tattoo Convention in Sacramento, California in June of 2024. Jeremy was able to add the purple larkspur and finish up that leg. I get so many compliments on the work that Jeremy has done for me. I love the art that I have selected to be permanent on my body. The staff at Anchored Art have been nothing but kind and helpful. The artists, professional and extremely proficient at what they do. The artistry is so phenomenal by the multitude of tattoo artists that work at Anchored Art. I have had the pleasure of watching the skill of three of Jeremy’s interns, Miles, Camden and Anya, grow so much. The learning environment is great. I appreciate the information that Jeremy shares with his interns along with keeping the history of the art of tattoo alive with the next generation. If you choose to have work done at Anchored Art, you will not be disappointed. I’m getting the itch for more again myself.

From the moment I came through the door and had my first consultation, to now, going into my 5th session, everyone has been professional and respectful. Scheduling appointments has been a breeze, even with my artist being fairly busy. Each appointment has been painless (except for the literal pain of course) and even fun! My artist took care of me, and the other artists I’ve interacted with have been friendly and pleasant to be around. Absolutely will return for more work from this studio!

Edit for the contest: I haven't been here in a while because I moved to Louisiana, but I definitely still follow the shop and firmly believe Kyle's tigers are maintaining an easy 9.5/10 on the cuteness scale. Experiencia fantástica: Started my experience trying to set an appointment for consultation with either Jeremy or Kyle after reviewing their work for a while. They both ended up meeting with me and I let them know I just had 3 things I wanted in the sleeve including one major cover up. Other than that whatever they wanted was up to them. They decided they would both be working on it and I’m excited about it. Without having any idea until the day of I’m just impressed and can’t wait to keep watching the progress continue. So glad I got to meet with them both and trust them completely on this.

When your own employees schedule a time for a tattoo i drove more than 30 miles to obtain a tattoo from your company. One of your employees never contacted me to say that my appointment had been canceled. This is why one star is arrived at don't try to weakly say that another business is to blame for your own employees lack of consideration. Maybe train your supposed employees.

He makes everyone feel safe and comfortable! 2 his art work is absolutely stunning! He listens to the ideas I give him and I love giving him the creativity to make it his own and I swear he shocks me everytime! The art on my body that he has done has given me so much confidence. He had such a great vibe and my tattoo came out beautiful:) however I went back for my second tattoo and was paired with a different artist (I won't name name's), but he went so hard on my leg tattoo that it blew out in multiple spots, and the tattoo came out looking nothing like the stencil, he even added things to it that were not previously discussed. Personally, I don't think I will be going back unless I could book with miles again. Edit: The owner got in contact with me and was very understanding and nice. He offered me a refund and was overall super understanding. He's going to add to the tattoo in certain spots to give it more the look I was going for. Very appreciative he took the time to help me!

He made sure I was comfortable and took his time to explain everything in detail. I had no clue what I wanted other than a cover up. Chris was very helpful on walking me through the process and listening to what i wanted. He was very honest and upfront on what parts of my idea were realistic and helped modify them in a way that would help the tattoo have the best outcome overall, while still keeping my ideas relevant. the shop is very clean and well maintained, and the front desk people are very nice and down to earth (it didn’t feel like your typical tattoo shop). while the prices are on the higher end of what i’m used to, i feel it was well worth the price for how amazing it turned out, especially for something that’s on you forever. if you want an incredible piece that you’ll be proud to show off i definitely recommend anchored!

Jeff Simon did/has done an exceptional job - the intricate detail, coloring, shading - all of it is pure perfection and I’m still in love with it just as much as day 1! From the courtesy call to confirm my upcoming appointment all the way to the second skin being applied after my final session, I felt taken care of through the whole experience. Eric made me so comfortable in both the consultation and appointment. The art is by far the most beautiful piece I’ve ever received. I’m already making more appointments to add on! I receive compliments on it daily and have recommended so many people to this shop. They probably do the best work in the state! Constantly winning award year after year! Their price point is a little higher than some other local shops but you’re really paying for top notch quality at this place! 10/10 would recommend, not just one artist but literally any of them in here whether it’s Peter, Jeremy, Shayne, Shawn or anyone else. Best overall group of artists for any shop you’ll find. A couple years later, Jeremy added a piece on the same arm and blended it in with perfection. He actually touched up my first one as well, with no charge or fusses. Everyone here is so chill, kind, and friendly. With their customer care id seriously consider leaving my children here to be watched if they allowed it and accepted my money. If you come in here enough, this shop becomes family. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Also have to add that Clayton at the front desk was extremely helpful and does a great job with customer service! Overall my experience at Anchored Art tattoo was a 10! Experiencia fantástica: I just got my first tattoo, Miles did it, and it was such an amazing experience!! I got some handwriting on my forearm and the actual tattoo is adorable, and exactly what I wanted. Miles played my favorite music and made sure I was comfortable and loving my stencil/tattoo the entire time. Anya, the receptionist and apprentice was so sweet as well, I had first came to the shop just to ask some questions and ended up scheduling an appointment because she was so helpful and understanding! Everyone I interacted with was excited, welcoming, and so talented.

Experiencia fantástica: I'll start by saying Anchored Art has a great environment, everything was meticulously clean and set up professionally which is always nice to see. Everyone was friendly and down to earth, even the customers. Real easy environment to chill for 9.5hrs in. There are incredible artists working here. Kyle Carpino took a project that I had been putting together for two years and absolutely nailed it. It was memorial tattoo for a very important dog and I'm so glad I trusted Kyle with this. I gave him a rough design and an idea and told him to run with it. When I saw the finished tattoo I was floored, I feel like a got a piece of my boy back that day. Thank you so much for the amazing attention to detail and work. They even paid for my parking too which was a classy, unexpected move. Shout out to the front desk staff for the great communication too. 11/10 would recommend. Be back soon.

I had a tattoo done somewhere else and I didn’t love the experience so I had some anxiety about this appointment. Miles was super excited about my tattoo, which got me so excited! From scheduling, check in with the front desk, appointment with Miles, the entire experience was amazing. And I love my tattoo!!

Experiencia fantástica: I travel a little over two hours get tattooed at this shop. The atmosphere is great, and everyone is very welcoming. Reggie nailed the vision I had for the tattoo that my daughter and I wanted. They turned out so good.

Experiencia negativa: So I put down a deposit for a small tattoo and they told me it would be around 6 to 7 hundred dollars!!!! But I went to mom’s tattoo for a different tattoo and they did so good I asked them about the tattoo I wanted on my back and she said it would at most take an hour which is 165!!!! So the price that anchored art tattoo gave me was absolutely ridiculous!!! I got the tattoo done even larger then I wanted at moms and it still only took an hour and it’s beautiful!!! So thank god I didn’t waste my money going to anchored art tattoo where they would have ripped me off!!!!!! Susan is the one who did the tattoo at moms and it was amazing!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Anchored Art prides itself on quality work and customer satisfaction. I had gotten a tattoo here about a year ago and wasn't happy with the results. The owner, Jeremy, contacted me immediately after a not so stellar Google review and offered to take a look and see what he could do. We sat and discussed the design longer than I ever had at a tattoo shop, and Jeremy made sure I was comfortable and happy with the new design. A great shop with dedicated artists that are constantly improving their skills and technique. Side note- these guys are pretty funny. Suggest they do a stand up night. Just as long as Miles doesn't have to use a microphone ;)

My first tattoos at 61 and he made me feel great. His lazer focus on detail is incredible. His pride in his work is very reassuring. My memories for agreat vacation are saved forever. Experiencia positiva: Happy with the work but really disappointed in the customer service. I was a repeat client to an artist and the last two appointments I had, he was running over an hour behind and I was left to sit and wait. The front counter staff was gracious but the artist didn’t even mention it. Unfortunately my last appointment there he was running so behind that by the time he called me back he was unable to tattoo me because he had plans and needed to leave. He used the hour of time I had to start drawing my tattoo because it also wasn’t ready for me despite me sending in emails and references prior to the appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love Anchored Art! My tattoo artist, Billyjack, was incredibly professional and nice. I went to him 5 years ago to get a cover up of this horrendous tattoo I had and what I asked for was executed perfectly. After 5 years, I decided that it was time to get it touched up and he really brought my tattoo back to life. I was incredibly happy with the results! It’s worth the money to go somewhere that knows what they’re doing and can give you a result you’re going to love. There’s a reason this place has such great reviews.

Reggie was great to work with. He made sure I knew what was happening and what to expect. The secondary skin he put on after he finished sure made the healing easy.

Experiencia fantástica: COVER UP STORY: I wanted my dog Shiloh (who passed away) tattooed on my arm. Never ever did I want color, or dogs on my body, but for my Shiloh I did. This was the absolute nightmare I received, and it grieved me so much. I spoke to Nate about it, and he was so kind and honest with me. He said that he could fix it only so much, but it would never be what I originally envisioned. He recommended that I’d cover it up and try again the right way somewhere else. He offered me a few different options too, and I thought about it and decided to go for it. I was really nervous and on my appointment Nate made me feel reassured, he was really kind and walked me through it all. My new cover up tattoo looks freaking gorgeous! I love it! Nate absolutely killed it, and I finally feel proud to wear this on my arm! Also, ALL the staff I talked to were really really positive, enthusiastic, professional and super nice. The vibe was great, right from the get go. The place is really clean and inviting. If I ever get another tattoo, it’ll be here 100%

Experiencia fantástica: My sister and I got our first tattoos from Camden. From the moment I scheduled the appt to when I left the process was completely seemless. I was so nervous and everyone made me feel so at ease. Camden made sure it was the right size, shape and area that we wanted. He confirmed with us several times to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. This is an extremely sentimental tattoo and we could not have asked for a better experience.
