Experiencia fantástica: We had Anha today (unsure of spelling) she did my 14yo daughters lip piercing. Breanna has done her septum and nasal on another visit. Great placement and being aware of that on all piercings. They take their time. I also had my Medusa done last year. The Front desk has Super friendly staff and great customer service. You pay for the jewelry and downsize and any healing products. I've also gone back in to replace my Medusa jewelry and nasal (not done by then) and they are quick and helpful for that service as well **Please remember to tip your service providers!!**

Experiencia negativa: I made the appointment online and when I checked in I was told that I would be next. I sat there for 45 minutes while three other people went ahead of me. Even though they advertise that you only have to pay for the cost of the jewelry. It's extremely expensive so their prices are deceptive. I left without getting a piercing.

Experiencia positiva: First things first, the piercer was excellent (Breanna?). She was kind, informative and fantastic according to my daughter and husband - my issue wasn't with her at all. My issue begins with having had called earlier in the day and being unable to reach anyone. When listening to the automated message regarding pricing it listed nostril with eyebrow jewelry and stated that pieces begin at $39 and go up. They agreed to a walk in, but then made them use the system to book an appointment and When you use the system it informs you that a cancellation would result in a $20-25 cancellation fee. Once it's booked and all the agreements signed and aftercare discussed they finally got to look at the jewelry to decide. The most basic, simple piece was $69. They asked about the $39 price we heard on the automated system and they said they didn't have any in that price range, this was the cheapest nose ring they had. Ummm ok. We spent $92 freaking dollars on the most basic jeweled nose stud, I have never come across a nose ring that expensive that isn't the same safe materials.Sure, it's cute, but charging $92.50 and pretending it's the cost for just the jewelry, and not being up front about pricing until after agreeing to pay a cancellation fee...I feel completely taken advantage of and manipulated. This is not transparent business practice at all. On top of that, they used an extra long stem to account for swelling, awesome! But, if after the swelling goes down and it's too long, you can come in and have them switch it out for you for an additional$20 or $25 (I was over it at this point and not willing to pay any more). My daughter has a super tiny, dainty nose, the extra length likely isn't needed for even the swelling, so it's potentially going to be way too big. That's not even that big of a deal really, it's primarily that their automated system is vague by lumping their nose and eyebrow jewelry and giving the minimum range at $39 when their nose rings start at $69 - that's a huge price difference, nearly double. Then to lock you in with that cancellation fee, I feel scammed.Again, the individual employees were great. Business practice is garbage. Now I'm sitting here reading negative reviews and I'm sensing a pattern. Being told a price, coming out paying much more, eventually even more after the adjusted bar size, not being able to reach them on the phone, just very scammy behaviors. Live and learn I guess. EDIT TO OWNER RESPONSE: I had to delete some of my review to make a response but feel it's important to clarify that the claim that my daughter chose to upgrade from a $39 option is false. There was no $39 option available at all. The automated system said there was, after getting booked in the system and agreeing to a cancellation fee they were taken to the nose rings where the most basic, cheapest option was $69, they were told no cheaper option was available. Nothing to do with her anatomy, it's what they had available period. Yes she upgraded to an overpriced jeweled stud (just don't with the fancy high tech jargon), but the available options started at $69, nearly double the quoted price. Like it or not, that's intentionally misleading, especially when coupled with a cancellation fee if you decide you could get it somewhere else if you didn't like the options.

Experiencia negativa: Prices are LITERALLY twice as high when you get there as what their automated message says when you call and you can't cancel an appointment after it's made or you get charged for it and then they use a piercing that is "too long" to account for swelling and you need to go back weeks later and spend another $40 on a shorter piercing. ABSOLUTE SCAM

Experiencia fantástica: We always have a great time with the awesome people at addictions! My daighters got their ears pierced here when they were 10 years old and had a wonderful experience with it. Now that they've turned 13, we came back to get nostril piercings! I also got my septum redone and my lip redone with them years ago. And I recently got my bridge done too. They always make sure we know as much as possible about whatever piercing we are looking for. And the free check ups while they're healing are great! Any questions I ask via email are always answered ASAP! Usually within a day.

Experiencia negativa: Got my uneven snake bites (pierced somewhere else) checked out here and they gave me a great input! Got my eyebrow pierced too, no problem! Today went in earlier today for a bridge piercing, and it came out crooked. Especially upset about this because I brought up previously with the piercer that I had had this same issue in the past (at another store) and to make sure it was straight. Bridge piercings aren’t small by any means -big, painful, and obvious- so it’s extremely upsetting that I would have to pay for this AND get it done crooked. I was also mentioned something about paying extra at the counter for a checkup?? I was very confused, but said yes because I assumed they meant the jewelry (new bar) that would be put in after the swelling settled (this is what I paid for at the counter last time I came in for a piercing just earlier this month) but I left with no replacement jewelry. I believe my piercer’s name was Brianna, and it looks like there’s a few negative reviews about this person too. I’d really like a full refund and new appointment asap.

Experiencia negativa: Scammy place. Everyone is know has a negative review about addictions and now Im being scammed by them too. They ask you if you want to prepay for your bar changes, but once its time for you to change your bars, they make you pay for it again anyways. They refuse to answer phone calls or call anyone back. Do not waste your money here and do not prepay for the bar change that they won't honor later. They will make you pay again despite the prepayment 6+ weeks beforehand.

I am 71 years old, and had never frequented a tattoo or piercing studio before. I wanted to get my ears re-pierced after letting them grow back 10-15 years ago. Onna, who did the re-piercing of my ears, immediately made me feel at ease, and the whole procedure was painless.

Experiencia positiva: Always had a good experience. Even when my bridge came out a lil funky because I accidentally moved during it, I was able to get it re pierced for free. They are super nice and about average prices. The only thing is I think they should space their appointments out farther considering I have to wait around 35 minutes even after showing up on time.

It hasn’t healed because i sleep on that side:( They cleaned the piercing, my ear, let it breath for a minute and gave me a quick at home remedy to help with inflammation. Experiencia negativa: As a Salem citizen, I would really appreciate if this studio would enforce the state law that there can be no smoking or vaping within 10 feet of the building. I am six months pregnant and nearly every time I walk by this establishment, there is someone outside vaping and taking their last drag as they are walking into the building. It’s gross and discourages me from ever choosing this studio for my body art needs in the future. At least High Priestess doesn’t let smokers loiter outside and break the law.

Came in today, me and my mother we decided we wanted our ears pierced, well lady said these are 69 , 79, 80 so on well we choose 79$ once’s cheap end expecting 158$ well we go to check out front lady rings us up 316$ 331 after we both got spray, I said hold on it’s suppose be 79$ each how do u get that much she said it’s each ear the lady never told us that and she popped back with yes she did I heard her no she did not we one can’t afford that and 2 never would have paid that for ear piercing Claire’s is way cheaper, I’m beyond unhappy. We both at being was surprised about 79$ let alone 158 each crazy! Never recommend going here! And of course no manager available!

Experiencia fantástica: Son had constant headaches for almost 7 years someone told him about Addictions and how they have they daith ear rings there daith earrings are placed on the pressure areas of the inner ear. My son got a piercing deep in both his ears, a month apart. Went from 8-10 average pain down to a 2! Yay!

Experiencia negativa: I got a nose piercing from this business about a month ago maybe a little less. I thought I bought a real opal. Today the "opal" fell off. I paid over $100.00 dollars!! That I don't have. So, I called them 10 min ago, they said I had to pay another $50 to get a new opal! My husband just started a new job and I'm off work for hurting myself at work. So, now the 2 options I have are leave it in w a hole in it or take it. It's not my fault the cheap shit fell out! So, as for as I'm concerned they suck w jewelry.

They have an incredible selection for every price point and they kno their stuff. Alister was even able to guide me toward better sizing for my ears and put my new jewelry in. They were suuuuuper busy. And super patient and helpful. That said - if I went back I’d make an appt. I got real lucky haha Amazing service and products, can’t wait to return!! Experiencia positiva: Had another great experience with our piercer, and quality of care. 4 stars only due to the length of time it took to get us back to the apt, took about 30 mins after our scheduled time to see the piercer.

Experiencia positiva: They may have amazing staff and be great at piercings, but their scheduling need work. I scheduled my appointment online, in advance, and received 3 email confirmations. The email confirmation let me know if I was more than 15 minutes late, there was a cancellation fee. I showed up 10 minutes before the appointment and got checked in, then waited 35 minutes after the appointment time, watching and talking with several other mom/daughters that went in for the exact appointment I was to have. After seeing several groups that came in after me leave, at 35 minutes, I asked the clerk how much longer it may be. I was told another 20-30 minutes but she couldn't confirm that until my piercer was ready from her last client. I set up an appointment at a different salon via text for a 30 minutes later, got in asap, timely, and love my new piercings. Update: After posting the review, I received a thoughtful apology explaining they had extenuating circumstances with a previous client passing out, which detained my piercer, and an offer of 25% off a future visit.

Experiencia positiva: Very, very busy place. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Even though they have a $0 piercing charge, my total was a little more than another place where I got the same piercing done. The one thing I didn’t like, and this is personal preference, was that I didn’t meet the piercer until I got the piercing done. This to me was an issue because we didn’t go over if the earring I chose was a good first choice and how it would affect healing. My ring snags on everything, and while it’s healing, it’s not healing very quickly. The other piercing I got at another location, I got to meet the piercer and we went over what jewelry options would work best. Again, this is personal preference and besides that the shop was clean and everyone was very friendly.

She showed me a bunch of different options specific to my anatomy and together we found the perfect placements. Then I just popped back in to have one of my piercings looked at and had another great experience! Everyone has been super friendly and helpful! The whole studio is super clean, and they have pretty earrings and gauges for you to look at while you're waiting for your appointment!
