Platinum Ink Tattoo’s

Negative experience: I was thinking about using them for a tattoo until I went there and and saw the conditions there. In my opinion the place was a dump. I looked at some of the work they did and was not impressed. Drove by there the other day and noticed they were closed. What a shame LOL that's the best thing that could happen to the tattoo business in Cape Coral. Imagine that out of business. I told you this place was a dump.

Fantastic experience: I came with my cousin to get her bellybutton redone and there was a bit of complication but the staff was so helpful and tried there best to keep her as comfortable as possible. Positive experience: Got a forehead dermal pierced here and it didn’t last very long. Dermals are temporary but it was pierced unevenly which is probably what made it only last a couple months. Really bummed about that. But the people were very nice.

Negative experience: I think this tattoo speaks for itself… uneven lines, faded coloring, as it heals it looks worse. I truly believe this artist does not deserve even a 1star.. and for reference I got this tattoo done 2 weeks ago when I was on vacation in Florida. Thank god that my hair covers it because it’s quite embarrassing to have this on my skin…. For life!

Negative experience: 8/14/21-They took my friend and I in as a walk in on a Saturday. Very happy with the tattoos and price. 8/25/21 UPDATE-11 days later this is what I have left of my tattoo (2nd picture). I messaged them to ask for a touch up/re-do and the owner stated she told me she warned me “that it may not stick,”which she never did and refused to fix it free of charge. The owner was completely unprofessional as she was laying on the couch with her boyfriend/husband in the waiting area as we were leaving, there was empty takeout boxes all over the place and it reeked of marijuana. I understand the fact that tattooing a finger is a hard area to tattoo (now) but the fact they refused to offer to fix it is not great customer service. I will not be going back there ever.

Fantastic experience: Came here for a very complicated cover up that no one else would even attempt. Was turned away from multiple shops being the size and detail. They welcomed me with no problem and gave me the exact tattoo I wanted, Slim done amazing work and was very professional. I would recommend anyone wanting a tattoo to come to Platinum Ink all their artist are great Definitely will not regret it!!!

Negative experience: I had an appointment to get a tattoo at 530 and my girlfriend at 930. They contacted my girlfriend (not me) to say that they didn’t realize there was already an appointment for that time and to come in with her and I could possibly get mine after her “if he still felt like tattoing”. Ok, fine. We show up at 930 and are told the wait is a little longer than they expected and to come back at 1030. We walked out at 11 after not being talked to or updated by anybody about anything. A joke, and not a good one

Only downside is that I live in NY state and will need to travel to Florida for any future Ink. True artists and i very highly encourage a visit if you need work done. A+++

Negative experience: Came in for a tattoo from one of their people since their ratings were so high. I called and they made my appointment with someone I assumed they approve of the work this person has done before working there. This seems not to be the case. My tattoo was very poorly done and lost most of the color. I needed to have the shade redone. The person that did it was no longer there. I came in 2 different times to get the color put back on and was told they would take care of it. When I came in for my appointment by the owner "Slim" he wasn't even there. The shop called him and said he "wasn't feeling it today" and that one of the others could do it in about 2 hours. Also, there was going to be a fee. The owners would not talk to me in person or stand behind work that was done there.

Fantastic experience: Daniel did a portrait of my wife on my arm. He was fantastic. The portrait looks just like the picture I gave him. He played great music from the 70' and 80's the entire time he was doing my tattoo. I would highly recommend Daniel to everyone.

Even let me try to be distracted by watching impractical jokers on tv when I kindly asked if I could (to help distract from the pain) I give this place a high recomendation and the staff are wonderful there. Got my 3rd tattoo last year there and also my last this year. Wonderful place and artists!

Negative experience: I went on Mother's day to have a wave put on my wrist. The guy tried several times to draw it free hand and couldn't do it. He had me go get the person at the front desk to print out a transfer. So he traced it on my wrist. When he started the tattoo, he did not use very good ink and the wave is broken I am very disappointed and will never go back there again.
