Fantastic experience: Just got a full sleeve from AJ and I couldn’t be happier! AJ took pieces from a stencil he posted online that I loved and added and subtracted to fit and flow with my arm. Aj is very laid back, quick and does great work. I’ve already referred two people and my husband is hoping to visit Aj soon as well.

Fantastic experience: I met breeze through a referral and I couldn’t be happier. He’s confident in his work and his shading and even his fine line is out of this world. I’ve gotten all four of my tattoos from him and would recommend anyone to him. The atmosphere of the shop is fun and you can tell everyone is having a good time when you come in.

Negative experience: If there was an option to give a zero or negative stars I would. Very uninviting and super unprofessional. Never walked into a shop to have the “owner” and the other tattoo artist blatantly be rude to a potential customer. When you walk into a place you should be greeted with a hello or something atleast, not to mention when finally spoken to, have the owner talk to you with his back turned to you and act like you’re bothering them. I’ll find someone else that has a personality and professionalism before I even think about giving them my money. To me it seems if they don’t know you they don’t want your business. Gonna edit this review based on the response of the owner below., yeah dude you’re RUDE you have zero personality and acted like I was bothering you walking into your shitty. And no, we were absolutely NOT greeted, that’s why I sat down waiting, thinking y’all were busy and didn’t have time to greet a customer. Your comment about being “drunk or whatever”. Hahaha, I see you resort to name calling and pointing fingers. Don’t try and give an excuse for being shitty to your customers. Clearly reading the other reviews I see the kind of people you are there. We dodged a bullet not having your terrible ink out on our body’s. Signed- an entitled customer.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful time at Unrivaled Ink during our girls’ trip in Cape Coral. We were there to get tattoos to honor a family member we sadly lost. AJ, the owner, was so kind and helpful right from the start. He carefully turned our ideas into a tattoo that was just right for us. His attention to detail and honest advice were really helpful. We all love our tattoos and remember the fun we had in a safe, clean, and enjoyable place that AJ and his team made for us. Fantastic experience: Today me and my partner came over to cape coral to get tattoos done and this was out first time visiting this tattoo shop. This was my third tattoo and his first tattoo. We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived, and then we quickly moved onto tattooing. The studio was clean and sanitary and the final results were phenomenal. There is also a barber located in the studio who cut my partners hair after his tattoo, he was lovely and the service was fantastic. Overall an amazing experience with lovely friendly people.

Fantastic experience: AJ was absolutely amazing in tattooing 4 generations for us. We picked assorted dragonflies representing a memory of watching The Gilmore Girls. AJ said my mom was his oldest customer at almost 93 yrs old. She was so thrilled to be a part of this. Thanks AJ for your beautiful work.

Fantastic experience: Family and I got tattoos with Unrivaled Ink Xmas eve eve. Last minute family idea, they got the 4 of us in between appointments in great time! We all are very happy with our tattoos, even bought some hats! Talented and Genuine guys. Great experience, and will definitely be back for more!

Negative experience: Not a bad shop overall. However, April gave me 2 fine line tattoos ~8 months ago that has healed horribly. I knew others who had gotten tattooed by her, and it wasn't the ugliest line work in the world, but when I came in and got my two done, I couldn't even read what the words on the back of my arm said by the time I went home. The linework on both the back of my arm and my forearm were exploded & fading on day two already. Now, 8 months later, you REALLY cant read what is says on the back of my arm, and my forearm tattoo is partially faded. I don't know if she's a beginner or an apprentice, but I will say I was thoroughly disappointed and will likely have to get them covered. I used the proper healing products, just as I did for all my other perfectly healed tattoos. I've seen her other work and it looks decent, so maybe just DON'T get fine line done work with her. Also, not sure if it's only her or the entire shop, but on the two occasions I've seen her tattoo (one on me, one on another person), she did not wrap the tattoo in Saniderm or even saran wrap. No bueno. Bottom line-you get what you pay for, but even then it's still pretty bad.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience at the shop... Chill vibes, and welcoming. Had a few smaller pieces done by AJ. Never had a complaint, always consistent. Has multiple specials, offers, and cool contests ect going on throughout the year. AJ himself is a great artist and is very light handed, the tattoo he recently did on my throat was one of my LEAST painful pieces. Def worth the trip.

Fantastic experience: Went to this shop after moving down for college recently. I was a little scared as I’m very particular about where I get my piercings but AJ the owner is absolutely fantastic. I had both a nose piercing and a fine line tattoo done by him now. His energy is fantastic and I always find myself relaxing immediately. This shop genuinely feels like a welcoming home and will now be my go to shop for tattoos and piercings as long as I’m in Florida. AJ you’re absolutely amazing!!!

My artist Bill was very welcoming and professional. He took my idea and added his own twist. I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. Very focus and detail. I’m absolutely in LOVE with my piece. This piece was especially meaningful to me, as it was a memorial for my mother who passed away from cancer. AJ took great care to make the design perfect and treated the process with the respect it deserved. From the moment I arrived, AJ was welcoming and put me completely at ease. We shared stories and laughter, and before I knew it, my tattoo was finished. Both my husband and I were so impressed with the result that we’ve already decided to return for our second tattoos. I took my family there for tattoo’s and piercings and was planning on getting a tattoo myself but just found out a good friend of mine had passed away so I sent his daughter my money to help pay for funeral expenses and when I explained that to AJ he did my tattoo for free. Negative experience: I am editing my review and adding some pictures, including the picture of the jellyfish we wanted done. Initially I was pretty impressed with how fast AJ was, but should have known better. A decent tattoo takes time. Me and my 3 daughter came in to get matching tattoos, while on vacation. AJ was a very nice and funny guy. However, the tattoos are not great. We are going to have to spend more money to get them fixed. There are so many mistakes and unfinished lines in each tattoo, and shading where there should be none. Make sure to do your research and maybe look elsewhere first. Hopefully this will help the next person from making the same mistake as we did.

Fantastic experience: Okay for starters AJ is AWESOME...not just as an artist either. He is extremely personable and a has a way of putting people at ease as they walk into the shop. My daughter got a baby piece done for her 18th birthday pretty much as a walk in. He was straight forward and honest in regards to her tattoo choice and placement. He took the time to come up with other suggestions even some pretty cool placement ideas. In the end thanks to his suggestions her tattoo ended up perfect despite her sobbing part through part of the tattoo. In addition to the amazing ink this shop has great hours, all the other shops in the area close between 7 and 9pm even on a Saturday while this shop is open until 2am which is much more convenient. I love that everything was extremely sanitary without out feeling cold and stark. There was comfy seating and decent coffee table type books to keep me occupied while I waited for her work to get done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING INK DONE AT THIS SHOP! Ask for AJ when you get there he will get you squared away.

Fantastic experience: Amazing people! I was greeted by Blu.. she’s very down to earth and happy to help answer my questions. She recommended me to talk with AJ about the tattoo I wanted (it was pretty large). Spoke with AJ that same day! Spoke with him about the tattoo ideas I had. He put my ideas on paper and nailed the design I wanted! This is my 1st tattoo by the way. He rocked the out lining on my leg from my thigh to my shin…sure it hurt haha but he was as smooth as I believe he could be…I’m ready for him to design another tat as I wait for this one to heal before he starts the shading. And Amanda was an Angel for helping me settle my stomach before AJ started such a large tat Thank you Unrivaled!!

Blu is an amazing artist and has done quite a few of my tattoos now and they constantly get compliments! Such a light touch and yet such amazing linework. Negative experience: Was referred to this shop by a friend from where I’m from. Went in had AJ take pictures of area I wanted done. He told me 48hrs he would reach out. 2 weeks later no follow up. Told him I wanted to get it done ASAP. If you couldn’t do it just tell me. Good work but bad at customer service or adding potential new clients. But I guess when you have an established name and established customers they take priority of new clients . Weird business logic. But best of luck. ( In response to your response, I was the one that followed up and was never once told it couldn’t be done. Communication would have been greatly appreciated instead of stringing me along for 2 weeks. I have the money and also said if you couldn’t figure out a cover up I would be interested in doing a full back piece. Not once was that idea brought up? It could have been a simple conversation saying that cover up will be to difficult but your shop would love to do my back piece. Once again it looks like reviews are from family or friends and not legit in my opinion because if the reviews truly matched the service then I would have been taken care of. Once again I believe it was a prejudice on the behalf of your shop to not communicate with me at all and you say you worked on it for 2 weeks but I didn’t get any proof whatsoever . Like I said AJ’s work looks amazing I just wish you treated all Cusotmer new or existing the same.

Fantastic experience: AJ was amazing, super laid back and chill. We came down on spring break and decided to get our very first tattoos. Prices were good and the work is amazing. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!

Negative experience: This is the first place my boyfriend and I tried, we called them prior (around 7:30pm) about being walk-ins, and the guy/owner told us to come in at 9pm, but ended up not being there/closed at the time he told us to come in at. We called to ask where he was, and the guy/owner said he was at his son’s baseball game, and did not tell us as such. He proceeded to tell us to wait and we waited for a solid 15 minutes before we went somewhere else. Id give this 0⭐️’s if i could, would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Right in the heart of Cape Coral, right beside the best bar in town, you’ll find Unrivaled Ink, a locally owned tattoo shop that has some amazing staff members both in personality and in skill. The owner AJ leads by example and can be found tattooing alongside his staff almost every time you walk in. The shop is very clean, well decorated, and well stocked with jewelry options for the piercing crowd, retro games, and oftentimes even snacks! They cater to everyone and make you feel welcome right off the bat. I can’t recommend them enough whether you’re a local or just visiting.

Fantastic experience: Loved the work. Wife wanting for a tattoo Tuesday and she loved it so much I went in for a tattoo Wednesday. Great shop Bill was awesome. Besides the owner (AJ) being a Cowboys fan the place is Awesome. Sister and bother in law also went back for tattoos.

Fantastic experience: AJ did amazing on my shoulder/forearm and it took no time at all. I felt as though the second I got in the chair I was already done. I recommend to EVERYONE in the cape/fort myers area to go to him for all of your tattoo and piercing needs. When I showed him the picture of what I wanted, He changed it up a little bit and this is definitely my favorite tattoo yet!!
