Positive experience: I have actually been planning on going to this place soon to get a few couple piercings. Not anything major, but want to get a couple small ones. Would be nice if they did tattoos too. Actually, after going back and looking at it after writing the post, I will gladly change my previous statement, and say that I am really glad that they actually DO do tattoos and piercings. Now I am definitely going there for sure, as soon as possible.

Negative experience: i don’t recommend this place. i went there this morning with my sister to get a piercing and we ended up waiting over a hour waiting for the piercer to “set up his room” and then we talked to the lady at the desk and she said craig isn’t feeling well and can’t do the piercing. so we waited almost a hour and a half for nothing. don’t recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic! Got our ears pierced by Craig and he did a great job. My wife had one of her earring balls fall off and go missing, and he got her a new one and put it on free of charge. Be prepared to wait if you're a walk-in, but the wait is worth it, these folks are super nice!

Fantastic experience: Me and two friends went in as walk ins. They took us almost immediately and were so efficient and clean. They were very thorough for my friends that were getting their first tattoos which was greatly appreciated. Jay was our artist and did fantastic work! Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: This place looks unassuming on the outside, but Craig is a great piercer with over 20 years experience. He did my paired high nostril piercings today and I couldn’t be happier. Very good prices as well. Would recommend.

Positive experience: I’ve been here many times for tattoos and piercings. I like it because it’s one of the only places around that takes walk-ins.

Negative experience: LA rox is a well known tattoo parlor in the akron area. The parlor used to be full of merchandise and just much more lively then it is now. It's merely a skeleton compared to what it once was. It's pretty sad. Good luck guys!

Negative experience: I went to get my septum pierced on a Saturday. They were doing walk ins only no appointments so I walked in, filled out my paper work and everything. However when it was my turn they took the girl who got their after me, and then the next one who got their after me. So I just left. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Went to get a tongue piercing for my wife and ended up getting my labret re pierced by the same piercer that did it 20 years ago. Craig Kelly is the only piercer I will ever go to he has done piercings on my kids and wife. If you are looking for a new piercer or for a first time piercings he is worth your time! Thank you Sir!

Negative experience: Sat for 30 minute to never get seen but he took care of the people that came in after me.

Negative experience: Drove all the way for them just to turn us away because they didn't give correct information on the phone.. was a waste of gas and time...

Fantastic experience: I went to Craig to get my eyebrow pierced this weekend. He was very professional and talked me through everything, he made me feel calm and confident about the process. Will definitely be back for more piercings!

Positive experience: Too long waiting period waiting room has no heat. Got my dermals done out of two one wasn't seated in place properly had to get it removed after having it for 10 months it started forming a bump around it because of the way the base was placed so I decided to remove it in hopes the bump would go away. It's been about a week since they removed it still healing but it's looking and feeling better.

Negative experience: Never liked the buisness, really poor people skills and extremly high prices. Hmu if you need ink

Negative experience: Poor service, bad area...dope heads are in and out of that area! The owner Roxanne is fake and a racist. I know someone who got an Infection from a piercing. Very unprofessional do not hire them to even look at you! I wish I could give a negative star. I told my friend to call the health department on their unsanitary a$$e$!! #BEWARE

Negative experience: They don't keep in touch with clients and not very professional like. I'm going to another tattoo place now. I got my upper arm done years ago there and was going to come back but wasn't told a date or was treated as if Jason was into even doing my cover up. I'm very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 20 years. There's a reason they've been in business forever. They hire good artists and they use the best sanitary practices.

Negative experience: I got my industrial pierced here for my 16th. It was done very wrong and when I removed it the jewelry was very cheep and left deposits in my piercing. My dad and I tried to call them and have left many messages, they never responded. I have had nothing but good things said to me about this place so I was very disappointed when this happened. I definitely will not be going back. If you are looking for good places I recommend War Horse Ink, they are located in Ravenna, Kent, and Streetsboro.

Fantastic experience: Made same day appointment for nose piercing. Reasonable prices. Helpful staff. Craig was good, barely felt it. Gave easy instructions on piercing care.

Fantastic experience: I got double Ashely’s here and I waited a full year to write this review until it was fully healed. I get so many compliments on them it’s insane, I love my piercings and didn’t have any issues with them at all, they healed perfect and are so even it scary lol the staff was professional and friendly, the establishment was clean and everything used was clean. They did exactly what I wanted and it looks better then I even expected it to, Thank you guys sm!!!

Positive experience: I was in middle of getting a tattoo not that long ago and some couple walked in cussing the artist out as I'm being tattooed on saying how her tattoos were messed up saying ALL WHILE IM IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SESSION I found it very unprofessional that this couple was even allowed to come into the room I was being tattooed on screaming and cussing and couldn't wait until the artist was finished with my session I guess the couple had talked to manager shortly before this happened why they were even allowed to come into the room it was extremely unprofessional rude

Fantastic experience: Got a piercing was quick and great customer service

Negative experience: got double vertical labrets done the other day and the man that pierced me put in the shortest bars they carried after i had shown concern about having room for swelling. they told me if it starts embedding in my lip, then come back and he will switch to a longer bar. When i came back the next day, they were closed all day and the man had not warned me. it should never have been a problem though. it’s common sense lip rings piercings swell. he left me no room for swelling. the one reason i’m giving 2 stars is because the piercings themselves were done evenly and once i get this fiasco figured out i’m hoping they will be fine.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tongue piercing a few days ago, my piercer was Coler..he was very nice, made me feel welcome and was super fast and neat! This was only my second professional piercing, however i’ve got many others and he made it a less scary experience. Clean shop, girl up front was very sweet as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: We live right next to Larox tattoos and I been wanting to go in for almost a year now, but was to shy to do so. I just didn’t think I fit in at all. However, the staff is beyond amazing making me feel so welcomed when I did come in. They helped me not only out with info but were so professional each time I chatted with any of the staff. Plus everything was cleaned to the max. I do say if your in the area to check them out. Cooler was my piercer and he was amazing! (Hope I spelled his name right…)

Negative experience: Poorly ran shop, was not impressed that my son's tattoo artiest who made a confirmed appointment was a no show and the girl at the desk just plainly said, "oh sorry we didn't call you to let you know" then just went back to texting her boyfriend on her phone and snapping her gum.

Positive experience: the lady up front charges crazy prices for tattoos and they’re very expensive. i love the work the artist did. it’s beautiful and he made the stencil by hand and did not print out a picture of mine. if you’re willing to pay some money for a tattoo i recommend going here. it’s clean, it’s very professional. only was there for a hour which is not at all bad.

Negative experience: Took my niece there last Saturday. I had called a week beforehand and they told me I had to make an appointment and that they don't take walk ins. So we made an appointment. Saturday came and we showed up on time. They had one piercer and he had one girl in his room for over 30 minutes. She had already been in there when we got there and didn't come out until after 2. Mind you..we had an appointment for 1:30. There was another girl before us that just needed her piercing changed and she was in and out kind of fast but then they had two other girls go in after her. We stayed over an hour past our appointment before we decided to ask for a refund.

Negative experience: The point of an APPOINTMENT is to save time . It’s been an hr and still no piercing.

Fantastic experience: I got my tongue pierced here back in 2001 the hole is beautiful I still use it periodically I will put a barbell in it it has never closed I've never had any problems with it was a wonderful experience... They were very nice and treated me very well and I feel like they really spent the time to answer all of my questions before the day I came in to get it pierced, thinking of some new piercings and this is the only place that I would go...

Negative experience: Got my lip done in January. There was a mishap when he went to put the jewelry in where the needle fell out so he had to repierce it. It wasn't exactly where the other hole was so it took a long time to heal. Ok. Humans make mistakes. I just got my septum done 5 days ago. I specifically made sure he wasn't going to go through the cartilage, but he did anyway (which is not how septums are meant to be done) so it's too high AND its crooked.

Fantastic experience: Craig did my septum piercing & Jason did an identical tattoo for my friend and I. Even though the area appears to be in "the hood", the staff is friendly and professional and clean. If I was to be critical I would say that my tattoo lining isn't as straight as my friends and the piercing balls shows, however I feel like I need a "nose lift" to see the rings. Thankfully it isn't hanging down like most. Either way, I love both of them. And happy Jason and Criag was able to squeeze my friend and I in last minute. We were walk ins. And even though I was visiting and leave to head home, they offered to be available if I had any comments or concerns.

The piercing came out perfect and was super quick! Gave him a 40 dollar tip. Super great facility. Will be going there for any piercing and tattoo in the future! Negative experience: I made an appointment over a week ago for my husband and I to get matching tattoos on his birthday. Our appointment was at 12 so we showed up at 11:45. At 12:05 they called and said our appointment had to be cancelled because the man doing it called off sick. The said we could reschedule for the same day at 2:30. I then called at 2:20 to make sure we were okay to come and they pushed our appointment again to 4:00. Not a professional place. The lady on the phone was very rude and said multiple times she doesn’t know what’s going on. I will never go here ever again. We wasted a good chunk of my husbands birthday on this place. Not happy.

Negative experience: Very nice place with great tattoos, did my friends nose piercing great. I decided to come here for mine and like other reviewers have said their piercings look great after but usually need redone because of bad placement or infection. After 2 months of trying to deal with my nose piercing I had to eventually take it out and get it again from somewhere else...

Negative experience: all the piercing comments are definitely directly post piercing because everyone I know who has went here for a piercing, including myself, has got an infection/horrific placement and had to have it redone elsewhere. Absolutely terrible quality metal used, and when you go back with these problems, they say it was an individual problem. I had to pay someone else to take it out (bc why would I let them ever touch my body again?) and they wouldn't refund me. Please just avoid, there is soooo many better places in the area (defiance, couture, etc.)
