He has phenomenal prices and awesome tatttoo skills and he made one of my tattoos look very unique and special to me . I saved money and I had to get my third done by Marcelo. Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. I went here about two or three weeks ago to get a helix and a rook piercing. The piercers were incredibly unprofessional and greeted my friend and I with a 5 minute rant about how every other piercer in Seattle is wrong and doesn’t know anything about piercing and how they are the only studio with good jewelry and proper aftercare instructions, which consisted of mixing your own saline solution from tap water and table salt (not sterile) and soaking your ear in a solo cup for about 10 seconds for about a week, after which your piercing would be fully healed. This is NOT true and not good aftercare advice. They did not count me down for either piercing, went really slowly through the cartilage (I could hear the crunching), and neither piercings was pierced correctly. I was given a flat instead of a helix, and my rook is at such a severe angle you can’t see the bottom of the jewelry. They used externally threaded jewelry, and one of the balls of my rook fell off after just two weeks of wear. I would NOT recommend this studio, it’s barely cheaper than any legit studio and I ended up paying more overall to get my shit fixed than I would have just going to a reputable shop in the first place.

Fantastic experience: Walked in to see if I could get help finding a new ball for a pair of captive earrings, and Heidi was able to help me out within minutes! She is super knowledgeable, and knew the gauge I had just by looking (that’s never happened before ) and even though the color I was wanting wasn’t in shop, she gave me an alternative for now and what to search for online so that I could order exactly what I wanted. Negative experience: If you're looking to get your first tattoo, don't come here. Had 30 mins to kill and decided to check out this shop, I walk in and explain that I'm looking to get my first tattoo and don't know much about the process, and ask to see a book. Tattoo artist (don't know his name, overweight white guy with beard) immediately assumes I'm trying to watch the current client's tattoo process () and calls me a weirdo. I look around for a minute then decide to go somewhere else. Utterly confused by this experience but the staff was very disrespectful and judgmental towards someone who didn't know anything about the tattoo process and wanted more information. If you want your first tat, go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Called for a walk-in appointment for my girlfriend’s birthday. The owner of the shop, Ty picked up. I don’t understand why there are some reviews describing him in a negative light. This guy has been tattooing for several years, owns his own shop, has accomplished a lot. I don’t blame him for taking pride in his work let alone himself! He’s a great conversationalist; sarcastic and witty humor. He was attentive to the tattoo placement and redid it to make sure it was not only to his liking but to my girlfriend’s liking as well! If you’re not open to challenging conversations whether it’s something you agree or disagree with, then a session with Ty maybe uncomfortable for you, but my girlfriend and I love different insights on matters and in the end even with minor disagreements, I still had respect for Ty. Tattoo was a pretty good price especially with him offering a free touch up the next time we’re in the city!

Fantastic experience: Needed my nose ring removed in a pinch and at a late hour none the less. Super nice staff, very friendly, they did it in a minute, and refused any payment. Definitely coming back for my next piercing.

Fantastic experience: I live in Bellevue so I called the nearest piercing shop. It was $10 to help put it back in & They were slammed. I called this place. They said come on and we got you covered no fee I walked in super welcoming super cool very fast very easy. Heidi took my phone call super polite, sir TY the piercer did such a fast job in and out in 7 min.

Fantastic experience: I got in contact with Fenix Tattoo less than a week when I was available. I contacted the tattoo artist, Marcelo Pereira, for a tattoo design that I had in mind, and he went overboard to make this tattoo more awesome than I envisioned. Super nice, Marcelo even got to the shop earlier because he knew I didn't had much time until I had to leave back to Montana. During the tattoo process there was hygiene (a lot of glove changes) and a lot of care while doing it. I even got free packs of ointment, Marcelo gave me, to apply and to make the first stage of the healing process more comfortable for me. Marcelo, his wife Heidi and another tattoo artist (which I can't remember the name - I'm so sorry) were impeccable. My hubby wants one too now (and I want another one!!) in our next trip to Seattle, and hopefully Marcelo will still be there to make it happen. Thank you so much, I'm a very happy customer.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place. Highly recommend it... It's Clean, but still laid back and inviting. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They're open late at night, walk ins are welcome. I went in for some ink therapy Fri and on Sat I went back for more.. Fantastic experience: Recently had to get my wisdom teeth removed and had to switch my jewelry out to plastic and I’ve never had such a kind experience in a shop before! I had complications with a rook and a nostril piercing and left both times knowing more about my piercing and what I did wrong and what not to do the next time. Garrett is highly educated on piercing and cares about his craft. If you’re getting your first, second, or even 15th piercing this is the place to go! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Best place for piercings and tattoos in Seattle! The staff is incredibly kind and patient. The space was bright and clean, and didn’t feel like I was getting pierced in my friend’s cousin’s dingy basement like other places feel.

Positive experience: First time getting a septum piercing. It hurt and the piercer had to go down a size from what they were originally doing. Caused me to bleed a lot and might’ve pierced the cartilage in my nose. At least they were nice and I’m glad the piercing ended up looking good regardless Edit: That’s fair. The minus two stars was because of what I thought had happened. And again, you guys did do a good job and were very nice about it.

Fantastic experience: Had this type of ring stuck in my ear and I couldn’t get it out myself. Popped in here real quick at around 7:30pm and the staff was real chill and got it out in a few seconds!

Fantastic experience: I learned about this place from a friend when I tagged along with him to get his tongue pierced by the older piercer, and I was pleased to find out that it wasn’t too far from my place! The young guy who did my piercing (I unfortunately didn’t get his name) a week ago was awesome !!! From the little info blurb he gave me before my piercing about the kind of jewellery he would be using and the piercing aftercare, to the perfect placement marks he made on the first try, to him talking to me while he did my piercing made for a very exciting, very easy first facial piercing I’ve ever gotten (without doing it myself, haha). The place itself, tho small, has a very chill, easygoing vibe to it, putting any nerves at ease. It’s also very clean. Definitely coming back to this place for my second eyebrow piercing and my other facial piercing plans :)

Fantastic experience: garrette was an amazing piercer ! my bestie and i decided last minute to get pierced and were greeted right away :D . he had us in and out in about 20 minutes . i got my ashley and nostril piercings done , and he took his time to make sure everything was symmetrical and let me change anything to my liking . she got her navel done and is definitely happy with it . he also gave me a longer bar just in case my lip swells since I live a bit further from the shop . they also do free jewelry changes as well ! he made sure we were comfortable , and everything was clean and sterile . super sweet and very informative — we will definitely be back !

He hand draws the concept tattoo, as long as you give him references. Do not underestimate the crew, they know what their doing. I would recommend this place twice if I could!

Fantastic experience: Came here to get nip piercings and started out with just one because I've had awful piercings in the past. It was fully healed in like 3 days so I went back for the other. It's been a week and they're totally fine and seems like they're fully healed! Felt a little awkward getting pierced by a man but he was super friendly, respectful and made conversation to make it better. Also a great price! Would definitely go again.

They were able to accommodate me since I had walked in with no appointment, and the service was super quick! The team was so kind and helpful as well! They provided me with advice on the specific jewelry that’s best for nose piercings and also advice on how to clean my piercings. Fantastic experience: I’ve had two great experiences here. I had gotten a few cartilage piercings done at other shops that weren’t healing well, so I came in here to get them looked at. First of all, LOVE that they do walk ins and both times I came in there was no wait. Their hours are great; being open later into the night helps so much for busy people! The piercer was extremely knowledgeable about why the piercings were having the issues they were having, gave me a thorough explanation about it, and a very painful but thorough cleaning of the infected piercing. He gave me detailed aftercare instructions and welcomed me to come back anytime. The only thing I paid for was a new piece of jewelry because the old one had popped out. My second visit was very similar. He wouldn’t accept payment or tip for his help that time because I didn’t need jewelry, just help with cleaning out the poorly healing piercing. Not sure what was up with those other shops that did the sketchy piercings, but THIS shop is the real deal as far as piercings go. Next time I get pierced I absolutely won’t go anywhere but here and can’t recommend it enough!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE I got my bridge pierced here a year ago, and shes never healed properly even without me touching it and cleaning it every day they pierced it with a curved bar (never seen done anywhere else) and also told me I could change my jewlerly within 3-10 days the guy was a know it all

Fantastic experience: Was visiting Seattle with family. My mom, aunt, cousin, and I all wanted piercings. Fenix was the only shop near us that accepted walk-ins. We were greeted by Garret who explained everything very well and we were all pierced within an hour. Garret was helpful, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Excellent service and prices!!! :)

Fantastic experience: Got my bridge pierced a few months back with a buddy, piercer was exceptional and made sure they looked just right for our faces and anatomy. Then, today I had an issue, lost the ball to my bridge then the whole thing fell out of my face. I called fenix and they said to come in, associate that helped me was the same guy that pierced me and got me fixed up at no charge! Seriously saved my ass

Fantastic experience: Special vacay weekend for my grown child and me, and we wanted to get pierced together while we’re in Seattle. Garreette was amazing! He got us right in, was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as friendly and made the whole experience so enjoyable and memorable! We got a septum piercing and a Medusa piercing and both were so easy! Garreette ensured we liked placement and was very open if we wanted any little tweaks for our own aesthetics/symmetry (but his marks were perfect!), shared all the important details of aftercare and jewelry choices, talked us through the process again as he pierced to make sure it went smoothly, and he was very gentle. Fabulous experience all the way around and very reasonable pricing too. We love our new piercings and Fenix! Thank you again Garreette!

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend this shop! Over 75% of my tattos have been done by the shops owner Ty and I'm very happy with every single one i have a couple customs peices he has drawen just for me and some generic ones. I have also gotten 3 piercings from him (nose and daith and top of ear) And have never had any issues with healing. Everyone at the shop is super friendly and knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough

Fantastic experience: Came in tonight for a belly button piercing and got exactly what I wanted with extremely quick yet extremely efficient service! I love my little piercing so much and will be very diligent with my aftercare. I have had many piercings; so while the piercer walked me through his methodology and why he uses certain materials; everything he said was a massive green flag to anyone who has had many piercings or is educated on the subject. Almost everything he said he would never do has, in fact, been done to me by other piercers in the past with some really unfortunate consequences. The more he told me about his piercing philosophy, the more I trusted him and was glad I chose to come to this shop for this sensitive area of the body! Not to mention the beyond reasonable price! Fantastic experience: I called in to get a jewelry change as the one another store put in was way way way too tight. They said to come in and he helped me within 10 minutes. He was so kind and such a life saver!

Positive experience: Ran in because I had lost my nose piercing and needed a quick replacement late at night. The guy who helped me was really nice and helpful. I was so glad that they were open. They had a great selection to choose from.

Here they were extremely chill and told me I could drop by, and got it solved in like 2 minutes. They also gave me the quick service for free. Fantastic experience: I was on my way to Everett with some friends when my nose ring popped out. I had just gotten it pierced a month ago and wanted someone to put it back in. I found this place on the way to where we were going and ran in. I wanted a hoop, so I figured this was the time. Garret was very accommodating, friendly, and nice. The vibe was great. He sat me down right away and helped me find the right size. Prices were very reasonable. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and he didn't even let me tip. Fantastic experience: I had an earring stuck inside my ear while trying to take it out, when I say inside I mean in my lobe! I called in and they calmly said I could come in and they can help me! The gentleman was very confident and kind, he calmed me down and in one swift motion removed the stuck earring.He was very skilled and comforting. Negative experience: Terrible peircings for my friend and I. I got my navel she got her nipples pierced and we both had issues not long after. My navel is not straight and he gave us super short jewelry so they both ripped through the whole. All my other piercers give me longer jewelry for swelling and such. I would not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Tye the Piercer was able to help me on a walk in appointment bc my Monroe piercing fell out and I couldn't get it back in. He gave me a really amazing little biochemistry lesson on using stainless steel jewelry vs bioflex when the site is healing. So make sure you get an experienced piercer. Like this amazing man who has 35 years experience. He's friendly too, imagine that.

Fantastic experience: I've known Ty for a couple years now. He's a strange fellow but he's a really good guy. His shop has been around for ages and if you've been in the heart of Seattle for as long as he has it's a testament to being a solid human and doing good work. I've gotten 2 big pieces done by him and I plant to get a few more. His art is dope the atmosphere is cool and as a human you won't find many more stand up than him. Fantastic experience: Awesome customer service. Needed some earrings removed and I just walked in, no appt, and was out in less than 5 minutes. Would recommend!

Negative experience: go somewhere else to get your piercings done. I got my nose pierced here, the stud came lose a few days later and when I went to get it corrected, the guy who corrected it was extremely gruff & careless with the replacement which, the next day (today), is now pulling the ball through the other end of the piercing which I now just need to remove permanently and try again once this heals and the pain goes away. It's been super fun today pulling the ball out of my nose where it had embedded under the skin overnight after all the pain & lack of caution yesterday.

Fantastic experience: Ty is amazing!!! 11pm on a Sunday I almost had a melt down about not being able to get my infected (from a different shop) anti tragus piercing out — I called and they said I could come right in and they’d help me out. Ty got it right out and was very helpful, kind, and informative on the possibilities of why my piercing ended up infected, how to avoid that in the future, and how to help it heal now. I’ll be back!!

Positive experience: ! the piercer was very kind and considerate, he made me very comfortable and relaxed I hardly felt any pain. come back soon
