Fantastic experience: I am so happy with my realistic greyscale tattoo done by Nina. Over the course of 6 months she worked with me via text --the delays were primarily because of unexpected health issues on my part AND the rest on my indecisiveness on the image. I sent her some pictures of my dog with multiple ideas. I shared with her why I was getting the tattoo and it's significance to me. I was all over the place with ideas but Nina was SO Patient & Understanding. Her suggestions truly helped guide my focus and the sketches she drafted really helped in my final decision. She took the time to listen and work with me to ensure the proper placement & size and concentrated on capturing my dog's exact fur movement & expression. In the end, she created an image that truly honored my dog's life in the way I wanted to remember him. Nina is clearly skilled and passionate about her craft! She shares a lot of good information because she is incredibly knowledgeable about how the skin heals and reacts to inks and tattooing itself. She uses higher quality inks and materials that would not only benefit her clients health & safety but also creates a better work of art. She felt really light handed and made sure she gave aftercare instructions and supplies that met my specific needs. Nina shows a high degree of professionalism, honesty, integrity and empathy and I trusted her completely with this meaningful piece of permanent body art. Overall, the studio had a really calm, chill feel and the tattoo station was very clean & hygienic...And Daisy (the other tattoo artist/ body piercer/ front reception etc.) was super friendly and helpful in responding to my texts as well. Will DEFINITELY be returning and referring her to others.My heart now swells, eyes tear up and I Smile when I see my little dog on my arm..just as I had hoped.

I first came to this studio for Nina’s Friday the 13th special 2 years ago and got two tattoos that day (flying saucer on my ankle and ghost on my upper arm). Since then, I’ve returned twice more (rib tattoo and lower back tattoos pictured below) and even brought my mom to get some new ink. Nina’s work is exceptional because she is a true artist and will advise you as such. Any piece I’ve wanted done she has consulted me on what will look best for placement and healing, offered competitive pricing, and never uses more pressure than is necessarily while tattooing. If you’ve read her bio on the shop’s website she’s named one of South Africa’s best for a reason. Would recommend to come here again and again!

Fantastic experience: I came in as a last-minute walk-in with a complex fine-line design, and Nina still managed to fit me in and absolutely killed it! She’s incredibly detail-oriented and knowledgeable—she explained everything throughout the process and made sure I knew exactly what was going on. Her expertise, especially with anatomy, really shows, and you can tell she’s mastered her craft. Her linework is super clean, and she was so professional and accommodating despite the short notice. Fantastic experience: I recently was itching to get some new ink. I'm from the area and decided to stop by and check the place out based on reviews I had read about the shop. The shop was very relaxed atmosphere and the lady at the counter was very helpful. I made an appointment and returned the following week. The artist arrived and she looked at a bunch of fonts, then let me look and pick the one I liked and began to place the stencil until we were happy with the placement. She got right down to it, and was finished before I knew it. I would get more from this shop in the future.

Fantastic experience: I got my nose pierced today by Daysy. I was sooo nervous. Due to my nerves, I asked the same questions repeatedly: Will it hurt? Can you explain the process? I’m scared. It took a long time before I was ready, but Daysy was patient and reassured me the process would be quick. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I am grateful for her patience and gentleness. To top it off, Daysy’s nephew was in the shop. I asked him to hold my hand, and he did, which was very comforting. The process was quick. It's been about two hours since I got my nose pierced, and I am not experiencing any pain. I would recommend Daysy to anyone who wants a nose piercing. The environment was peaceful and calm. The piercing chair is everything. It had a slight recline, which was great. My overall experience was good!

Fantastic experience: went in for an eyebrow piercing a couple days ago and got pierced by daisy ! i explained to her that i have had it pierced before and the complications i had because of my previous piercer and she made sure to keep the scarring in mind and did a flawless job with my piercing ! i often come here (having gotten my navel, snakebites, angel bites, and even my industrial) and each and every visit has gone so so smoothly ! would always recommend this shop as the staff has always been so friendly and so accommodating with even better service! will always come back !

Negative experience: I don't typically write reviews but the piercer that did my snake bites. She put the percings first of all lop-sided where one was underneath my lip basically and then one was on my lip line. She then went to tell me bodies are not asymmetrical- which of course not but it was lop-sided! I asked for them to be even even if it was a little over or something. She also used to little of bars and she also put my left side on too tight to where the other shop I went too had to use a tool to get them out. I had to get them both removed and now need to wait for them to heal over to get them redone. 80 bucks down the drain basically. I will however say she did them fast and it didn't hurt too much and she was nice overall.

Fantastic experience: My experience was AMAZING!!! Me and my two friends all got walk in piercings for one of their birthdays and every piercing was quick sanitary and incredibly well done and we got them done as soon as we got in! Our piercer was so personable and friendly and FUNNY and gave us so much information to make us all as comfortable as possible, I was shocked by how good the prices were for such perfect piercings and we all left ecstatic! One of my friends didn’t have the anatomy for a septum piercing and as soon as it was noticed the piercer stopped piercing immediately and cleaned them up and told them exactly why they couldn’t get the piercing- it was such a great sign for all of us because some other piercers would’ve just kept going and done the piercing with the incorrect anatomy but not here! Total pro, definitely coming back!!! I was so nervous to try somewhere I had never been but listen- GO HERE!!! I also texted the number before my walk-in and the staff was incredibly kind over the phone and told me all I needed! 5 stars is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

My wife and I went on our yearly anniversary trip to the LA area to visit family and catch a Dodger game. We came to this shop because it had excellent reviews, and I wanted my nose pierced. I cannot even say enough positive things about this shop to do it justice. They were very kind, and, i believe her name is Daisy, that does piercings there is excellent. I have had many piercings in the past, ears, tongue, lip, nipples etc. and I have never had such a seamless piercing experience in my life. She knows where to place the piercing, she asks you if you are happy with placement, she is extremely informative about how the process is going to go, how to keep it clean, how long to leave it in etc. I barely felt a thing and it was over from sit down to finish within a few minutes. We will definitely be returning to this shop in the future. Thank you so much for being so professional, and making this an easy experience!

Negative experience: I came here once & I did not like the receptionist because she can come off as rude & I came/spoke to her again & same attitude. I like Nina but once I finish getting tattoos from her I will not be giving my services to this location anymore! Some ppl should not be in the front talking or running a business. Fantastic experience: THE BEST TATTOO STUDIO!!! My son discovered this tattoo studio a couple of months ago. He wanted 2 hand tattoos and chose this one because of the exceptional reviews. I tagged along to see how the process works. Nina was knowledgeable, friendly and did an EXCELLENT job! My son said that she has a very light touch and that it wasn't painful at all. I'd always wanted to get a tattoo but was afraid it would hurt, so I never got one. My birthday is in May and I decided to treat myself to a couple of tattoos. I made an appointment. I was excited but still a little scared too. I was pleasantly surprised as Nina began her work. I can honestly say that it was not painful! I got 2 tattoos and LOVE them both! If you're looking for an AMAZING artist with decades of experience and integrity, go see Nina asap! She and Daisy are very professional and gave me a great tattoo experience. Fantastic experience: Overall I gotta say I like this place and recommend. I have been a few times now and I feel like customer service is great, they are all inclusive, respectful, knowledgeable and welcoming. No complaints. If I felt some level of rudeness or disrespect or like I can't trust the piercer, I would not go back. But I can say this place has my vote of confidence. So far I have only gotten piercings done and bought jewelry. Wish they had more of a variety of septum styles to choose from but I'm still gonna go back to their store regardless of that.

Negative experience: I got a navel piercing here a while ago and it rejected. Went to multiple piercers (i was in a different city) as it was rejecting and they told me that i didnt have the anatomy to accommadate a navel piercing (my navel is flat with no overhang). I was not told this as I was getting pierced and eventually had to get it removed before it popped out of my skin. I now have a dark vertical scar running the top of my belly button. The service and piercer was amazing but I feel like they pierced me regardless of my anatomy and greatly increased my chances of rejecting.

Fantastic experience: Walked in for an urge for my ears to be pierced, not realizing it was Friday the 13th! Initially, i thought i was going to have to wait a while. But thankfully the very cute receptionist guy with a nose piercing attended me and my questions; directly introduced me to the piercer (Daisy).. Daisy asked me what my vision was, and went straight to work. Daisy was just an amazing soul. I loved her, although our interaction was short and just that. Negative experience: I got an earlobe piercing a couple of weeks ago, and the lady with short purple hair seemed nice at first but kind of gave me an annoyed vibe. One of my piercings is slightly higher than the other, which I'm not happy about, but regardless, her attitude was okay. Wish she was more welcoming, but it happens. I hate to be giving such a low review, but I want others to know what to expect. I'll probably add more piercings to get rid of the unevenness, but most likely, I will not be coming here again.

For this tattoo, I had a specific idea of what I wanted and Nina worked with me to make it happen. Even when I initially forgot about a very specific preference (a specific time on the clock). She has already applied the stencil before I realized the time was different than I wanted, and she took the time to change it by hand to make sure it indicated the right time, and triple checked for me before starting the tattoo. I am so happy with the end result. And Daisy was amazing with coordination about the work I wanted done, and scheduling a time for me that would work with my schedule and Nina’s. Couldn’t be happier!! Thank you both!

The customer service was incredible, with timely responses to my questions and availability for when I was looking to come in. An incredible tattoo shop with artists who care so much about their craft. I will definitely have any future tattoos done here!
