Iron Tiger Tattoo: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Sid did an amazing job of creating the idea we came in with! Super kind and patient! Thrilled with how it turned out!
Fantastic experience: Got my lobes pierced by Sid. Super simple piercing but it went quick and easy. Shop was clean.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! First of all, the staff were very accommodating and supportive! I had no issues with walking in and asking for some piercings, as the staff were super friendly and the wait time was nearly nothing. It costed $90, not including tip, to get my second lobe piercing and my daith! Very affordable. They used sterile jewelry and sanitary tools too. I recommend this place if you’re looking for affordable piercings and kind staff !
Negative experience: It was okay. The tattoo I got was small and a simple design and I payed 200$ (before tip, by the way) for it. The linework wasn't the best, and the artist was a bit rude. Definitely better places to go for tattoos.
Fantastic experience: Walk in service. I was finished in an hour but it was a very simple design. Very happy.
Fantastic experience: walked up right before they closed while they were about to go home for me and my friend to get my belly button peirced. everyone in their was so nice especially my peircer and me and my friends peircing are very even and well done and are both healing very well. overall 10/10 experience sorry we kept you guys late
Fantastic experience: Iron Tiger is the place to go for piercings, tattoos, and amazing service. My two best friends & I came in on a Thursday night around 8 pm, and they took us in no problem. Sid was super sweet and very funny. He dealt with our indecisiveness amazingly, especially after a long day of giving piercings & tattoos. Cannot stress how highly I recommend Iron Tiger & Sid!
Fantastic experience: From the front of the door to getting my service was absolutely amazing, I will be coming back THANK YOU GUYS
Negative experience: I came in for multiple piercing changes. The piercer completely cut up and destroyed multiple pieces of jewelry that I had on without asking if it was okay. I came in to get help with changing the jewelry, not for them to be completely destroyed. He also cut one of the new pieces that I brought, and the jewelry fell out a day later because it was too short. Another piercing that he switched out became infected the next day, which has never happened to me before, despite having thirteen other piercings.
Fantastic experience: Got my right nostril pierced by Sid back in April. I’ve had the same nostril pierced 3 times at 2 different shops before coming here and it never lasted more than a month idk if it was my nose or if it was the establishment but I said all that to say SID IS MY PIERCER FOREVER! He’s super chill, polite and very direct. And he does a damn good job! If you’ve been trying to decide where to go for your piercings, stop looking because you’ve found your place. I promise. Just fyi: I’d call first because he does have two shops!
Negative experience: Would someone please tell me why, everytime I walk into Iron Tiger tattoo and pericing shop they tell me a different story? Grrrr when I first got my Dermals done they specifically told me that if something went wrong with them (rejection) for me to come back and the would remove them For free, have me come back when they were healed and they would replace them free of charge. A couple of months later I started to notice that there was a knot or calus starting to for underneath both of them and they looked crooked. So I went back and had them checked out at Iton tiger and they told me that there were not rejecting they were still healing. And that they would be fine. As time went on the knots got bigger. Then On New Years i was taking off my makeup and snagged one and ripped it out. “Ya Ouch” well, One down, one to go. Finally 4 weeks before my wedding I went back to Iron Tiger and asked them to remove the one that was left. So they took me back and was going to take it out free of charge. But then ended up sending me home with a home remedy of a crushed aspirin and saline twice a day for two weeks and it would fix the problem and I would have to have it removed and would save me the money of having to have both of them repierced. So I went home did exactly as I was directed. And I noticed the the metal foot below the skin and worked it way out and was showing. Well by then it was a little over a week before the wedding so I could have it removed because it wouldn’t have had time to heal before the wedding. So I just waited until after the wedding. Present day. So I went into Iron Tiger today to have said dermal removed and they told me ok have a seat the piercer will be back shortly and will remove it for you. Oh and there will be a $30 charge to remove it. Needless to say, I did not have it removed. I asked the man why everytime I come in to ask about these female I get a different story. And he said well I’m not bullshitting you and showed me a laminated card with the price of removing a dermal and many other different piercings. Needless to say I will never go back to iron tiger. They are liars and con artists. I do not recommend them to anyone and will never ever again. I took my business to living canvas where is should have went to begin with. However I was told at the time I got the dermals that living canvas did not do dermals otherwise I would have gone there instead. Livening canvas charged me as well but it was cheaper and they could not believe what had happened.
Fantastic experience: Was pretty skeptical about getting a tattoo in Missouri for the first time. Went to Iron Tiger Tattoo. Very friendly, professional, and clean place. I can’t say enough good things about Michael Moscoso and the work he did. Great detail, really put everything he had and genuinely cared about the work. Healed great. I would recommend him or iron tiger to anyone in the Columbia area.
Fantastic experience: Best tattoo place to go to, been 3 times had 3 different artists and every single piece has been a 10/10. Ask for sparky
Fantastic experience: My friend group has gone here and gotten over 10 tattoos total from this place. They have never let us down, and always do a great job. Everything from American Trad to handwriting, always great. 10/10 would recommend!
Fantastic experience: Went in to get my belly pierced and felt comfortable immediately when walking in. The people working were so nice! Made the experience very fun and we joked throughout the whole interaction.
Fantastic experience: I came in at 11:45pm, 15 minutes before the shop closed, to have them re-insert my nose ring. I was having a horrible time on my own trying to put it back in. They were so helpful, kind, and understanding of my situation. I work in the service industry and was trying to make it quick for them. They tried to not even charge me for the service! Iron tiger has the most wonderful staff, they all have great attitudes and they genuinely made my week so much better! Thank you guys! ❤️
Fantastic experience: Loved this place. they took good care of us. we joked with the piercer the whole time to distract me from the pain lol. we told the story of the immortal art. sure they are still talking about it. i would come here agin!
Negative experience: I got a tattoo sometime ago and it was totally overpriced. 180 dollars for a 15 minute tattoo, the artist even stopped for a smoke break during it. I will not be going back.
Fantastic experience: Came to iron tiger after a month long debacle with a small town shop for my daughters first tattoo. Took time but it was Saturday evening and we didn't have an appointment. Still the guys accommodated and turned what was looking like a bad birthday experience into something she won't ever forget. Iron tiger will be my shop from now on. If you haven't had the pleasure of getting ink/conversation with Sam, don't hesitate, he's amazing.
Fantastic experience: This was my second time getting a walk in tattoo here always a good experience sparky did mine and I’m very pleased with it I highly recommend him if you want anything done
Fantastic experience: Went in to get my septum pierced. $70 for septum . Not long wait time and friendly piercer. 10/10 .
Fantastic experience: Me and my boyfriend came in to get some piercings and it was great! He got his first lobes done and I came back and got an industrial. The piercer was friendly and we will definitely be back for more!
Fantastic experience: Los was great, he did a face tattoo for a friend and the whole shop was clean, organized and fun. I'll be back soon!
Fantastic experience: Did a walk in with my girlfriend. Jordan was our artist and he is very personable yet focused. His lines and depth were very good and I highly doubt it'll need a touch up. Their waiting area is comfortable and clean as well as the restroom. Will be back in the future....
Positive experience: I got two piercings here (a left lobe piercing and my right tragus). After a week, I had a bad reaction on my left ear and a slightly bad reaction on my right ear due to the metal earrings that Iron Tiger uses. The skin around my left piercing appeared to be burned, and I had to remove the earring. I have a few piercings and I have never had a reaction like this before. Also, yes I was cleaning my piercings multiple times a day.
Fantastic experience: Mr. Lee fix my butterflies nd Name how i wanted it he is the best!!!
Fantastic experience: Came in for a walk-in tattoo and was able to get in almost right away. Jordon was my artist and he was absolutely amazing and great to talk to you. Tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted and I definitely will be coming back!
Fantastic experience: As always a great experience with Sid (also at Good times in Jeff City) The artists all seem super nice. I had an appointment, but the guys were handling a huge influx of walk-ins like champs.
Positive experience: I've had piercings done at both big piercing spots in Columbia. The people who work at Iron Tiger are much nicer and generally welcoming than Living Canvas, in my experience. However, two times now I've had issues with the jewelry that I was pierced with at Iron Tiger. Several years ago, I got my conch pierced with a ring (not typically the correct jewelry for a fresh conch piercing, makes it a lot more difficult to heal) but I was able to make it work. Last week I got a helix piercing. They did tell me that they were low on jewelry but the jewelry they chose was 1. Too short to accommodate for swelling in a new piercing and 2. It was a externally threaded (always always professional shops should use internally threaded jewelry) barbell (ball on the back, instead of a flat back, also not super typical for a fresh piercing). My experiences with the people at Living Canvas are mixed, they are usually standoffish and somewhat talk down to you but they are so knowledgeable. On the other hand I feel much comfortable going in to iron tiger with questions its just that the quality of the actual jewelry maybe isn't the best for healing a piercing as quickly and easily as possible. I've never left iron tiger feeling like I might cry, which I can't say for the other shop. Just depends on which is more important to you!
Fantastic experience: I was in Columbia for a few days and wanted to get a tattoo over an area I have been self conscious about. I was turned away by another artist at a different shop because of the complexity of what I wanted I guess. I decided to walk in to Iron Tiger to see what an artist there thought. Sam worked with me and I explained to him what my idea was and he knocked it out of the park without a question as to whether or not it could be done. He understood what I was wanting and did exactly that! 5 stars from me for this shop and Sam! Thanks again guys!
Fantastic experience: We went to Iron Tiger to get my daughter’s ears pierced for the first time. We were very fortunate to be able to collaborate with Yorkie, her piercing artist. He made us comfortable from the moment we entered the shop. Once we were in a private room, he worked with us until we were satisfied with the markings on her lobes. He would mark a spot and erase it until they were positioned just right. He even used a professional ruler to be absolutely sure that the piercings would be equidistant and symmetrical with her face. When it was time to pierce her ears, he explained what would happen and quickly but efficiently did so. What made the experience even better was that he allowed me to take pictures with his phone. I had forgotten mine. By the time we made it home, the pictures had been sent. My freshly 13 year old daughter is beyond happy with her new look and the way she was treated. I could not have asked for a better artist to work with her. Thank you so much, Yorkie. She will be back!
Negative experience: Alright so I went in there Sunday January 28th spoke with a man who said he would draw something up for me for the next day. The work was supposed to be a cover up of a slightly faded tattoo on my hand.Once I arrived I was greeted nicely no complaint there very nice people. What I'm going to complain about is that( me thinking he had drawn up his own original art work) said the most I have to spend is 200 dollars. We then get to the back and he says the best he can do is TRACE OVER WHAT WAS ALREADY THERE. He did not add a single original thing to my preexisting faded tattoo he literally traced over someone else work and charged me 200 dollars for it. I was under the impression he was doing a cover up. Being the person I am I didnt say anything too much anxiety. Tell me is this 200 dollars worth of work? TRACING OVER SOMEONE ELSES WORK IS NOT WORTH MORE THAN 50 DOLLARS IF THAT. sure it got cleaned up and isn't faded out anymore. But it's far from what I expected for 200 dollars. When he stated he would draw something up for me insinuating he would add originality to it. Here it is in all its glory an unoriginal uninspired traced work of art. Very dissatisfied and not what I would expect out of a professional shop. So iron tiger if you'd like to reach out to me and at least fix this or give me a partial refund I would appreciate it.
Fantastic experience: I’ve had 4 tattoos done here. Two by Casey and one by Gabe and Anthony. All three guys are amazing at what they do. They are all super patient and professional. I highly recommend them!
Fantastic experience: I went to the Iron Tiger for my first tattoo on my 55th Birthday. Everyone working was professional and made my first experience memorable. I brought in a picture and the artist, Jordan, modified the tattoo. He nailed on the first drawing. He made me feel as comfortable as possible. I would recommend the Iron Tiger to everyone.
Fantastic experience: The prices were rlly good like I was genuinely surprised. A navel was $60 and a cartilage was $30 including jewelry. The piercer was fast and the experience was overall rlly good. I’ll definitely be coming back
Negative experience: Took my friend to get a piercing and while it looks like it was properly done, he just chose an earring, didn’t show it to her, and put it in her ear. I’ve never not had a piercer show me jewelry to choose from. She’s shy so she ended up with the ugliest earring. He didn’t even tell her what gauge or material it’s made of. Unfortunate. If possible I’d like her to be able to get a free jewelry change.
Fantastic experience: Awesome tattoo....got it in remembrance of my late father who passed, as well as adding to the appearance of an existing piece by putting scenery around it. Will be back again. Already booked
Fantastic experience: Went 2 separate times, first time had Casey he did an awesome job, and 2nd time he had a long beard and looked younger but he did an awesome job too. I’ve had 2 diff guys do my piercings all perfect no issues. Really recommend this place over many others around here!!
Fantastic experience: I'm a middle aged lady, and decided it was high time for my first tattoo. I was at a crossroads. My children had flown the nest, and I have the second half of my life to live, with adventure and travel on the horizon. A perfect opportunity to get some ink. I love the aesthetic of this shop. It's quirky/old school/vintage. My artist, Carlos, was kind, professional and very personable. He chatted through our session, and put me at ease. I will definitely be back. I hear they also do piercings. I have several and want more.
Positive experience: The wait time is extremely long, great artists- but not very professional in my opinion. It’s a cool place, but that’s about it. Very very expensive as well. Have gotten a tattoo here before, but second time we ended up leaving.
Fantastic experience: Got my nose pierced here on my birthday. No complaints at all, great atmosphere and overall aesthetic. Everyone that works here is really cool. The guy that did my piercing was really nice too and made sure I was comfortable.
Fantastic experience: My BFF and I walked in and connected with Liz, a guest artist. She took our idea and made it even better, and we ended up with a gorgeous, unique work of art. She was GREAT. The space is fun and pretty retro, honestly could do without all the female genitalia , but I suspect I'm not the target demographic for that. Everyone seemed friendly, the place is clean and the bathroom has fun sparkly tile in it. Prices are quite reasonable.
Fantastic experience: Super nice guys, willing to look at a piercing from another shop and help me out when the other place couldn’t/wouldn’t. Would recommend anyone here.
Negative experience: My kids was there trying to get piercings but their outrages prices for piercings. No mama no ham will not return ever in my kids left the establishment before getting their piercings done when I came in and saw those prices I knew I could do a better job myself for I do not do the price gouging. $65 and over, for one piercing and my kids went to the mall and purchase their own jewelry for the piercings to be Done.
Fantastic experience: i went an got my septum pierced yesterday by a guy named tyler, very nice and fun people. they engage in conversations and are very friendly. i didnt feel a thing when tyler pierced me. during the process my friend and i kept a conversation going with the two gentlemen who were in there with us. a great area will definitely be going back
Fantastic experience: I get all my tattoos and piercings here! All the other shops in town are run by thieves and swindlers and scoundrels! Not here! Iron tiger is honest to the core You can walk in, look around and notice the difference! The work is the cleanest and brightest! World class!!!!!
Positive experience: Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5, was that the dermal starters are all pretty basic -would rather have more starter variety. Although, great experience. Friendly staff, clean facility, done by the books. A gentleman named Sid did a dermal piercing next to the corner of my eye for me, and he was so gentle and on point that I could barely feel it. It was almost painless. I'm happy with it. ✨
Negative experience: Horrible experience. Waited hours to get a simple tattoo. SID absolutely destroyed my leg by tattooing so hard. I’m bruised badly and I’ve had tattoos on my legs that never hurt this bad. He did it in 20 minutes for a decent size tattoo and it seemed like he just wanted to rush through it. I’ve never had this painful of an experience for any of my tattoos. Do not recommend Sid Liberty at all. My wife got one done by jordan and hers is good and was not as painful but she had a different artist who cared.
Fantastic experience: Great place! Nice people and very professional at what they do. Made me comfortable and did the piercings fast and clean.
Negative experience: Don’t go there, the piercers are extremely rude! I went to get my ear pierced and the guy never asked if I was doing okay and when I asked if I could see if the mark was in the place I wanted to be, he said he had 15 years of experience so he knew what he was doing. I decided to give them a second chance, so I went to have my earrings changed two months later. A different guy took care of me and guess what: he was even more rude than the first one. He seemed to be in a rush and also never asked how I was feeling; he simply took my earrings off very aggressively and I started bleeding. He replaced them for the new ones and then I asked if I could have a Qtip to clean all the bleeding and he said: just go and take a shower. I mean if you don’t like what you are doing get another job. Unbelievable!
Positive experience: My husband got a simple tattoo here. They charged him $250 (conveniently after they asked him what his budget is after they rejected the initial idea he wanted). We were talking about it with some other shops when I was getting consultations and everyone said they would have charged about $150 for the piece. Follow up, my friend and I got piercings here together. Piercer was friendly, but did not provide any sort of warning/count down/ deep breath instruction.
Negative experience: Went with a friend, we were going to go get piercings together. Walked in to ask questions and they were very rude and unprofessional. They joked about reusing piercing needles on clients and when asked what kind of piercing metals they used they scoffed and gave a very snarky answer. Overall this business just wants to steal your money and rip you off. They lack professionalism, compassion and respect. Do not get your piercings done here go to cr ink, they are way nicer
Fantastic experience: I went and got my ear pierced yesterday with a friend. They were very professional and walked me through it all. Very polite as well
Positive experience: A friend and myself went to get tattoos. The guy at front counter was very rude, and was seen by others acting that way too. Not a good first impression! Then when talking with the artist that was doing my tattoo came out with the design, I didnt care for it, he wadded it up and threw it in the trash, and walked off. I should've walked out and went to another shop, but had already been there long enough. Price was high for the attitude, I'd recommend going somewhere else where they appreciate their customers.
Negative experience: I had a piercing done here earlier this year. I had a daith in my right ear to help with frequent migraines. I guess they were really busy that day, because my piercer (I don’t remember his name) seemed like he was in a rush, and was very rude. I literally almost walked out crying but was just happy to have it done. During the actual piercing procedure, he never asked (for deep breaths, breathing, counted), or any sort of warning. I got confused about how he wanted me to lay down on the table and asked "the left side?" and he said "yeah- the left side. I've been doing this (x) years I think I know what I'm talking about". I literally layed down on the table, he swabbed my ear with the cleaner, marked it and immediately pierced through without warning. I grabbed at his arm reflexively and he told me to “let go” like he was offended I had reached out. As he was handing me the sheet at the end I tried to ask him a couple questions about after care, even explaining that I wasn’t from that area and where I’m from there aren’t a lot of piercing shops. I tried to explain my left ear daith had rejected, and that’s why I’d come in to have the right done; and ask for any sort of tips if I started having trouble with the healing process once I went home (somewhat sensitive skin). He said “you won’t have any trouble if you just wash it with saline three times a day like the instructions say”. He handed me the paper, a sticker for the shop, and left without another word to go tattoo someone. Now I have a second rejecting daith piercing, and no nearby piercer. Thanks for the help.
Positive experience: Got a really great tattoo from Pablo, but got a mid piercing at a later date. Didn’t land on the mark made for the location of the piercing but I think it’s still okay. Mixed experience here, but will update if that changes with a future visit
Negative experience: That was an awful experience with Sid. I would give zero stars if I could. After paying for the service first, Sid came to get me. I was asking him some basic questions, and he just kept walking away from me while talking, it was hard to understand him since he didn't have the courtesy to even look me in the eye or even face me while talking. Once seated in the chair, he BANGED HIS CART into my leg roughly, and didn't even apologize. Like jesus dude, are you have a bad day or something? Get up on the wrong side of the bed? The whole time it felt like he didn't want to be there and hated his job. The piercing itself was just fine but the whole place is a humorless, depressing pit of despair.
Fantastic experience: After the experience we had in Jefferson City, we drove back to Columbia and came to Iron Tiger. Everyone there is really nice, we were able to get in and out within maybe 15 minutes. Sid did amazing on my Nose Piercing today! Totally going to use Iron Tiger more often!
Fantastic experience: Excellent service, clean and friendly. Got my 7th tattoo today, first time with Jake. He has a very gentle touch, efficient, and really listened to what I wanted. I've never liked an artist well enough to go back twice but we definitely will for him.
Negative experience: The service was polite, but a very poor job was done on my bridge piercing, and I’m having to get it redone somewhere else. An option to meet with the piercer to see about getting it redone was offered, but no refund was available
Fantastic experience: I went here for my first tattoo and two different piercings and would highly recommend both jordan and sid! the prices are on the high end but definitely worth it in my opinion. jordan was extremely knowledgeable/talented and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. the tattoo is exactly what i wanted and healed perfectly. sid did a cartilage piercing for me and nailed it. he was personable and took time to make sure i understood the entire process and aftercare. thanks y'all :)
Fantastic experience: Got my daith pierced and a tattoo here. The place is super clean and all the employees are cool. Both look great! Tattoos are a bit pricey, but 100% worth it for the results! Great line work!
Negative experience: DO NOT get your piercings done here. I’ve had two piercings done here and my jewelry has fallen out 3 times. I never ever had this issue with my piercing place at home so I have no idea why it keeps happening here. One of the piercers are also incredibly rude.
Negative experience: Piercer was great, polite and talkative. The guy at the desk was was rude snappy and slammed clipboard and pen down on counter, had horrible customer service skills, acted like he was to good to wait on everyone. And price that was asked for a BLACK and WHITE smaller tattoo was outrageous.
Fantastic experience: An amazing place got two tattoos from these guys Coby did the one you see below that man is amazing. The one you see below I got it last October but it's still amazing!! Thanks Coby my brother is always with me even though he past away. -BladeMaster122
Fantastic experience: The ghost and script are a year old. I got the Pisces watercolor symbol today. I made sure to have Carlos do my work both times because in 2020 I saw a review for his work and had a gut feeling. Believe me, it was worth feeling a little weird asking for someone by name I’d never seen. His line work is incredible, with the script I argued for thin lines and small script for a long time before we found a compromise, which you can see on my forearm. I was beyond thrilled with the result. He did the ghost on my ankle the same day. A year later, I made sure to request for him to do my shoulder tattoo. I was indecisive and unprepared as it was an impulsive choice, and Carlos was patient and worked with me along the way. He helped me come up with a design I liked that was within my budget. During the tattooing process he was quick, polite, and easy to talk to. My friend, who also got a tattoo, and I chatted throughout the process. 10/10 tattooing skills and professionalism.
Negative experience: Update: Our good tattoo was by Pablo! Bad tattoo by Jake. Paid 140 each for the tattoos pictured. One obviously of more value than the other right off the bat. My pentagram had obvious blow out right away. Almost everyone I have had look at it thinks that it was done too deeply. I sent Iron Tiger an email trying to find a mutual solution. When I was not responded to I sent another email. I was not responded to again. We are happy with the fire sag tattoo. It looks wonderful. But we are not happy with mine, the fact that it somehow cost the same, or the lack of response we got.
Fantastic experience: I just got my nose pierced about 15 minutes ago and the guy did a great job! The shop is clean and professional. It was quick and took no time at all! I was a little nervous but I did so, if your thinking about it you can do it as well!! They are awesome!
Fantastic experience: Did an excellent job on both of the tattoos I've received from their. Will definitely go back in the future! Great on helping to narrow down exactly what you want!
Fantastic experience: I got 2 memorial tattoos today by Jordan. He was amazing and got the designs perfect. I'm absolutely in love with them both. Thank you Jordan for giving me the opportunity to help with my grieving process by putting your artwork on my wrists. I will forever be grateful for it.
Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pablo is an amazing tattoo artist! Highly recommend! Super kind and chill and great at his craft and pays great attention to the detail. I have also been to Iron Tiger to replace my stud nose piercing with a hoop. Great place
Fantastic experience: Got my medusa piercing done here. He was friendly and did a great job. Didn't warn me before doing it like I'm used to with taking breaths which was a little odd but other than that everything went smoothly and perfectly and it looks great! Will definitely be going back to get my lip piercings redone!
Negative experience: terrible experience. All of the workers I talked to acted like they did not care at all. worst attitude ever. a friend and I went and got our daths pierced. Mine went smooth piercing wise. but he gave me no warning before he did it. but my friend the ring did Not follow along. the took both out and just started trying to shove the ear ring thru the hole. it took him about 4 times to get the ring thru. my friend paid with card, which you do first. I paid with cash, you do that after the piercing. they charged her $60. once I was done he said it would be $50, I handed him $100 and he came back with $40. which is sus. they seem like they’re in it for the money, don’t go here.
Positive experience: I had my second pierced and it looks great only put four stars because I called beforehand and asked if it was busy and the person who answered just seemed like they wanted to end the phone call as fast as they could and I ended up waiting an hour to get in for a five minute piercing. I understand wait time but I would have expected them to tell me that as I came literally five minutes after the call. Overall had a good experience with my piercing but not the best customer service from front desk.
Fantastic experience: i was a walk in and got service right away. My tattoo came out AMAZING! My artist did a good job. I loved the atmosphere and out of all 4 of my tattoos (3 of which were done elsewhere) this one is my favorite and is giving me the least amount of trouble. Def coming back here in the future
Positive experience: Three friends and I went to Iron Tiger for matching tattoos. We asked for the exact same letters in the exact same font. We were told that the same artist would do all four. Instead, multiple artists did our tattoos. Therefore, they are not really matching. The font is noticeable different as well as the thickness. I'm not picky about small details, but the differences between all of our tattoos is quite noticeable and what we received is different from what we requested/what we were promised.
Fantastic experience: Casey turned our design into a thing of beauty. My local daughter plus other daughter who lives in Montreal, were scheduled to have simultaneous tattoos. The guy we booked with in Moberly stood us up. We found this place and are very glad we did. Casey was kind, informative, gentle and professional. Great experience. Absolutely recommend them.
Fantastic experience: I like this place, it has a bunch of nice people. One guy named Dan, really likes this band Ghost. I thought it was weird for years, but then I gave them a listen and they are pretty good. Another guy there named Jeff doesn’t like the band Ghost, but he is usually wrong about stuff. Like how to catch fish, or where babies come from.
Negative experience: Tyler pierced my smiley. Put the needle all the way through then pulled it out and told me he couldn’t do it. I bled everywhere as the piercing was a through and through wound. He told me to swallow my blood and that it was my fault that he couldn’t do it. I’ve had a lot of piercings done here and am always happy with Hunter or Sid but will never be letting Tyler touch me again.
Negative experience: I went to iron tiger for a simple nose stud piercing. Tyler didn't warn me when he put the needle in and he didn't give me any instruction on how to take care of the piercing. I also asked for options on what the stud would look like and he didn't even let me choose. He rushed through the piercing and didn't give me a chance to ask him questions. I told him that this was my first body piercing and that I have a chronic fear of needles but he expressed apathy about the situation. I had a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend Iron Tiger for nose piercings. (Also, they make you pay AND tip before the procedure... wonder why?)
Negative experience: I would rate them zero stars if I could. The tattoo artist named Sid is awful. He has a terrible attitude, is extremely rude, disrespectful, and totally unprofessional. He was drinking on the job all night. I waited two hours to be treated awful. Don’t go here unless you want terrible service.
Negative experience: I came at 9:15 when it says you close at 10:00 and no one was there. I had four people with me that were ready to get piercings but you weren’t open which is disappointing. If your hours say you close at 10:00 please stay!
Fantastic experience: Los did my son's first tattoo yesterday! This place is very clean, great pricing, and extremely friendly! Los did an excellent job!
Negative experience: The tattoo artist was so rude and rushed the tat because he was supposed to get off at 5, but wanted my money. As you can see, he does not know or just didn't care to tattoo me properly. My rainbow is shrinking and the ink is coming completely off and he literally scarred me with how deep he tatted me. I have been an avid Iron Tiger supporter until now. He said he would touch it up for free and I will never let him tattoo me again. I will pay to get this fixed. Don't see the balding man with a beard and glasses!
Fantastic experience: Got a tat by Jake Bailey, who is also been a friend of mine for YEARS.. I've been waiting to get inked by him for a long time. I love my tattoo. It's exactly what I wanted. Jake you nailed it...it's perfect... I also got a piercing from here a while back and was happy with it as well. I will be back... ~Bobbi Jo~
Fantastic experience: My tattooist Jake is seriously awesome. Hes done 2 for me so far got more scheduled out, and just did a tat for my sister
Fantastic experience: I got my nose pierced last year here. It was a great experience. Explained why it is placed where it is and explained after care well. It healed great and I don’t regret it one bit
Fantastic experience: Our artist "jake" was very professional and courteous. Highly recommend
Negative experience: I came in for a Medusa piercing a few months ago. I’m actually still so upset about my experience here. The piercer was cold and standoffish, and didn’t give me nearly enough information as he should have. When he marked where he was going to pierce, it looked good! But when he had actually pierced it, it ended up off centered, which is a big deal for this piercing. I was so so so sad that my first piercing was messed up. I also didn’t even get to pick the jewelry he used so I was stuck with jewelry I didn’t like until it was healed. On top of that, no one told me the price of the piercing before I got it so I ended up paying way way more than I expected. I think it was around $70 but I’m not 100 percent sure as this was several months ago. Overall I’m disappointed that I wasted my time, money, and top lip at this place. I can’t speak on their tattoo work but do NOT come here for a piercing.
Fantastic experience: Gabe did amazing work! The best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! I will definitely be coming back here for more tattoos in the future.
Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my visit at Iron Tiger, Jake did a great job on my tattoo I love it so much. Thank you for the great experience.
Negative experience: Peircer and staff was very rude. My friend and I went and he did not mark where he was going to peirce or give me a heads up he just stuck the needle in and now my industrial in a bad place and the ball/ first peircing is never seen. I'm unhappy with the placement my friend who got a nose peircing did have hers at least marked but when she asked him to move it higher he said no he had been doing it for 12 years and new what he was doing. We were unable to go in together do to Covid which is understandable but as soon as I was done with my service they rudely told me to leave before have even a minute to talk to my friend. Everything was clean and starile and I went before but had a different peircer and he was fine but won't be going back again.
Fantastic experience: Gabe is one of the best artist! He has been working on a half sleeve for me. I recently moved away from the Columbia area and refuse to go to any other artist. I always recommend to my friends, family, and strangers. :)
Fantastic experience: They are AMAZING, I only have three tattoos but they all are from the artists at Iron Tiger. I will never go anywhere else!! They are simply outstanding!!!!
Fantastic experience: Iron Tiger is one of my favorite spots in Columbia. I have spent many hours and dollars there over the years. Time and money well spent. Professional, clean, and high quality piercings, jewelry, and tattoos.
Fantastic experience: Very happy with the service, the place was clean and organized. Went in for lobe piercings ($60 for both lobes), Im terrified of needles to begin with. My piercer, Tyler, was very nice and patient with me. Let me be picky about my placement and pierced quickly! Will be paying a visit again
Negative experience: I got there and I had a docters note for the mask because I have breathing problems the guy said I don’t care you have to wear a mask. I told him to take my docters note and he didn’t care to even look at. At this point I was just wanting my nose stud back in because the night before someone knocked it out of my nose on accident. I paid my 10 bucks upfront I was told I was going to wait for at least 20 min and it ended up being 45 min. Then got back there the guy said your stud won’t go through you got to pay 50 bucks I said no. I was told you guys could put it back in. So the communication was terrible and they had terrible attitudes. I think they need to treat customers with more respect, we’re coming in here paying them to do something for us. I had to ask for a refund wasting my time for 45 min. Wouldn’t come back here...
Fantastic experience: Went in today to get my second ever tattoo done and it was an amazing experience. I just moved here from Springfield so I wasn't sure what people recommend. Even as a walk-in, it was really fast to get with the artist (Pablo) and get it done. It was a kinda pricey, but for the quality of the work it was most definitely worth it. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to get a good tattoo with professional staff.
Fantastic experience: Went in and got my nose pierced by Tyler tonight with my lil bro. He was great it was quick, fast and painless. Thanks Tyler! Would definitely recommend.
Positive experience: I went here to get my nose peirced. It was a fairly quick process and I didn't have to wait that long. The guy at the counter was nice and patient. My only complaint would be that the guy who peirced me (i dont know his name) seemed to be a little bit short with me and was annoyed when I was asking questions. I told him it was my first piercing, and he just didn't seem to want to make conversation, which is fine, but I do expect to get my questions fully answered. Overall I would go back again for another piercing or tattoo.
