Negative experience: I called to get a quote for piercings and was put off immediately by the man who answered the phone. He asked what piercings I told him both nipples.He said it was, 80 but could would do them for 60 because of a black Friday sale. He called me pet names like baby it was off putting and made me uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: I took my mother (70) and daughter (13) for piercings recently and had the most fantastic experience. Chris, our piercer, was calm and welcoming. He explained the process and talked through each step to the comfort level of each client (the 13 year old needing a little more reassurance). When it was all over, Chris explained how to take care of their new ear piercings and we were gone. We’ve followed the instructions for two weeks now and we’ve had good, clean, healthy ears! I’d highly recommend LaRude’s for any piercings!

Fantastic experience: This place surpassed all of my expectations! The woman who greeted us at the front desk was warm and friendly, and Chris the piercer was beyond incredible with my rook! He was quick, clean, and did well to calm my nerves. I will absolutely be coming back in the future for any and all my piercing needs!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to LaRude's and I'm so happy this was the shop I chose. When I walked in I was immediately greeted. Rich was my tattooist and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He helped me settle on a location and I'm so, so happy with where it is. He was so kind during my quick session and he made sure the lines were perfect. The pricing was on point. The shop was incredibly clean. I loved the Halloween decorations they had up and the overall feel of the shop. I am absolutely satisfied with my overall experience. I will definitely be back again, and while I'm sure all the artists there are amazing, I think my experience with Rich ensured he'll be the one I go back to.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing tattoo shop. Rudie is so cool to talk to while he works his magic. My son, daughter and I all have tattoos from him and will continue to get more. My 2 younger daughters got their ears pierced there and it was such an easy, stress free experience. 10/10 highly recommend Update: for my daughter's 18th birthday, Rudie did her first tattoo. It came out amazing. She was excited and nervous. Rudie's awesome skills made the tattoo so simple that my daughter felt that she could fall asleep. Still, Highly Recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: My go-to for piercings from now on. The owner LaJuan is sweet and my piercer Chris was very kind and informative. I did a set of ear lobes, a helix and a nose piercing. I was in and out in no time.

Negative experience: So went there to get my smiley pierced and I told her piercer that I am allergic to latex and it still used latex in my mouth and when I told him I don’t have anatomy for a septum piercing he said it still be fine so he went and did it and it’s all cricket my mouth still hurts The bar is literally sitting on my gums so like my gums were inflamed, and I tried to loosen the balls off of the bar they won’t come off.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a tattoo or piercing. I got a tattoo here by rich and it came out amazing. I also had my septum pierced and I absolutely love it. The piercer gave me instructions on how to care for it, and I’ve had no issues with it.

Negative experience: Love the work from this shop as long as it's not done by joe. He decided to hand draw certain branches. And as you can see next to the moon there's a branch that lead to nothing, branches that are thick and look like a child sketched them all over. A child could do better. I mean it what world is it okay for a "professional" tattoo artist to leave this permanently on a client. Thumbs down for Joe all the way

Negative experience: I’ll start out by saying this was my first tattoo and I was already anxious and nervous. My artist was Joe and I had sent him a few pics of my two dogs (both Shiba Inus) and asked that he come up with something that shared both their characteristics. 1st photo is from my first session. About a month later, I had asked for a touch up as the lines were fading and also asked that he make the eyes bigger and if he could get rid of the upside triangles underneath the eyes. 2nd photo is our 2nd session and looks completely different. I was not happy and as soon as I got home from this session, I called Joe and told him that he had added upper teeth, to which he tried to argue with me that he did not. I asked if I could send him both photos for comparison and he simply said no, and that I can come back to the shop for him to look at after it healed. I went ahead and sent him photos anyway on social media and never got a response. I was hoping this would’ve been a better experience, but am saddened on how I was treated and how it turned out. I ended up going to Bangarang Tattooing Company and got it fixed by the one and only Amy Shandick. Last pic is of the final product.

Fantastic experience: I got there at 7:15pm and left at 7:30pm with my piercing and my aftercare instructions. From start to finish he was professional and kind. The piercing didn’t even hurt like it could’ve with the scar tissue I had. I Highly recommend Chris for all of your piercing needs.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased at the service. One day the thought came to mind that I'd like to get my ears pierced. And later that day I happen to pass this place I had never noticed it before and I take this road all the time and this time it's like the sign was glowing to get my attention. The sign just said tattoos but I figured they probably do piercings too and I was right when I asked they said they did and I couldn't believe it was only $40 to get both ears done. Not 40 each but only $40 for the two. So I am possibly said yes and I am glad I did because it was quick and painless they did it with a needle which is what I wanted. I didn't want it done with a gun. And I was in and out in like 10 minutes or less. Excellent job what's wrong

Fantastic experience: I was looking for somewhere to get my 6 month old daughters ears pierced and was pointed by multiple people to Chris at La Rudes. He was super professional and knowledgeable about the whole process and once we started we were done way faster than I expected. My daughter barely cried and the piercings are a centered as centered can be. 10 stars to this guy and is craft.

Fantastic experience: I took my 15 year old daughter to get 4 piercings, one of them was a re-pierce after a botched belly button piercing. Chris was absolutely amazing. He talked my daughter through everything he was doing, why he was doing it that way and completed everything quickly and gave her the best after care instructions and even his phone number to call if she had any questions or concerns after. It was definitely a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve come and gotten my tongue and eyebrow pierced by Chris. He’s more than great at what he does. He talks you through the piercing and lets you know everything you should know about it. (what it feels like, aftercare, healing process, etc..) My tongue healed perfectly fine and i recently got my eyebrow pierced about a day ago and everything seems to be going well. I will definitely be coming back.

A few weeks later she had a bad reaction to one of the earrings (at no fault of Chris’) and we came back to the shop a few times and Chris fixed her right up. He even checked on her several times afterward. He truly cares about his clients and makes the experience super comfortable. Also, everyone at the shop who we met was very nice and welcoming! Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here. The Artist I had an appointment with was working on someone when I got there (I was early), and another Artist took over right away to help me. He was a great guy to have a conversation with during the session and looked out to make sure I was able to take a break if I needed too. The tattoo came out just as I had hoped it would, very happy with the work. The Artist took the time to explain aftercare to me, although I was out of it by the end of the session (even missed a step coming down the stairs when I was leaving lol) so when I got home I had some questions and sent a message in chat. The owner LaJuan responded to me even though it was after business hours and really went above and beyond to correct me on some of my care that I did and guided me through what I needed to do going forward. That’s huge! I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Walked in to get a few piercings done by Chris, and I am so happy I did. Chris was professional, sanitary, and quick. Gave simple but effective cleaning instructions along with some more helpful tips for stretching if I choose to do that in the future based on our conversation. Set up to final piercings took maybe 15 mins. I can not recommend him more highly.

Fantastic experience: I got 9 tattoos from this place from 2017-2020 when stationed in Fort Hood, TX. The artists are phenomenal, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is superb for the area. Why drive out hours to Austin or some other major hub when you a have a gem locally situated, right here in town? I recommend this place to anybody in the service, and all my friends have been satisfied with the tattoos they have received here. If I am ever in the area again, I would love to come back for more.

Negative experience: Tattoo artist David Espinoza is an outspoken islamaphobe. On an Instagram post regarding the new opening of a Mosque, David comments “…I’m Hispanic and I don’t like this either, especially after 9/11”. It’s a shame this tattoo shop employs people with such low morals and values.

Joe did mine and my husbands tattoo, and he did a great job. He was soft handed and considerate to being my first one , making sure I was comfortable and doing ok. Fantastic experience: I can’t explain just how much I loveeeee the man who greeted and hosted my friends and I. I believe he is the son of the owner, who is such a sweetheart, but he was soooo funny and nice. Both the owner and him had us laughing and feeling completely at home with the way they interacted with us. They helped guide us into the right direction of getting our tattoos since it’s our first time. Also the man who tattooed us was amazing. He made us feel comfortable and let us know what would be good to do. My friends and I really enjoyed the experience and quality this place had to offer. Definitely deserves a ♾️ /10.
