Fantastic experience: I originally went to get my ears pierced but then after I saw this cute couple going in for matching nose piercings, and them coming out with big smiles after “I was sold”! Selena was amazing with giving her honest opinion in what I should get and helping me choose the perfect jewelry was such a pleasant experience. Selena explained the whole process very professional. Selena made sure I wasn’t nervous or scared, she made conversation to keep my nerves calm. She explained after care very thorough and offer to answer any questions in the future. Negative experience: I received a conch piercing and my two other friends received various piercings. Before starting we asked if they took Zelle? Yes, they take Zelle, okay. Sweet. We were guided to picked out our jewelry. Okay cool, grabbed a basic bar with a stone in center. This was my only option for my piercing placement: the girl at the front apologized for being low on stock. Once brought to the back, Selena did explain everything to us in detail. My piercing was quick and painless. However, I felt like we on show with two to three employees at a time watching us receive our piercings; that wasn’t my favorite moment of the experience. After finishing we walked up front to pay. Selena was checking me out and was like okay one conch piercing and upgraded jewelry (excuse me?! This was my only option but I was like okay I have no choice it’s in my ear now). Well remember I specifically asked if they take Zelle because they do have a sign saying no credit cards and of course yes they do. Okay nice, said what’s your Zelle info? … Selena says she doesn’t have Zelle. Well there’s an issue because now I have a piercing for a payment method that isn’t accepted when I specifically asked about it. Okay, whatever I download cash app and make payment for my service I received. Sorta annoyed because I would have done this while waiting to be called back but Selena was patient. Fast forward two weeks later. My friend earring lost the front screw side with the stone part. she went back and asked to buy a new earring was told she could asked for help and they said it would be a new piercing feee. So she paid again for new jewelry. Fast forwarded another week. Same thing she lost the front part of her earring. Fast forward now a month later and the back part of my screw on fell out! Luckily I heard mine hit the floor. However, this was neither of our first piercings. Typically, in my experience, I can’t get the screw part off after I heal and it’s time to change my jewelry. If it wouldn’t have happened to 3 out of 4 of our piercings. I would have said it’s our fault things happen. But that statistic speaks for itself. Go somewhere they tell you about your up-charges and screw the ring in tight enough you can enjoy your new piercing.
