Negative experience: Came up here in june to get my sis 16 pierced since I am her guardian with proof and permissions and was able to do it no problems, I went to do the same today and now its a problem didnt even want to see the permissions. Its okay can always take business elsewhere

Negative experience: I came here a couple of years ago, on two occasions and got ear piercings. The price was only $20 and I was in and out. Today, the price has gone up which is understood, but the wait is insane. May or may not return because the wait is ridiculously long, so disappointing

Fantastic experience: I went on the 20th to get my belly pierced and the wait was not long at all, there were a couple people in front of me but I got pierced, paid and got out all under 30 mins. It was fast, affordable and the workers were really nice. I appreciate how kind they were because I was very nervous. Thank you :).

Fantastic experience: The front desk lady was very on top of her job which was appreciated and the piercer was fine. You do not need an appointment and the line goes fairly quick which is much appreciated

Negative experience: Wish I could leave 0 stars. The owner pierced my ear about a year ago, this man’s hands and nails were visibly VERY dirty and he did NOT wash his hands, just put gloves on. It has been nothing but trouble since, infection after infection. I’m about to take it out for good right now after getting medication for it with no success. Please go somewhere else or at least don’t let someone with DIRTY hands do your piercing :(

Negative experience: my helix was pierced incorrectly at an angel. i got a double helix and holes aren’t in the same direction. never healed no matter how many products i tried. new piercer removed the jewelry and it was bent up. i know i cant get a refund probably but this is a warning i guess.

Negative experience: I use to love this shop, Ive got all my piercings here and i never really had any issues until i got my back dermals, then right after i got them, they stopped doing back dermals because “something is always going wrong with them” which to me sounds like a piercer issue but….. now its like anytime i call to talk to the lady who did all my piercings, they never let me speak to her, they tell me they can help with my questions and NEVER HELP. The customer service has been so horrible lately.. they wont answer any questions you have about back dermals, they wont change out your gems or tighten your gems, they wont help if you have ANY issues regarding back dermals, it sucks and its inconvenient to search around for another shop that does back dermals in KC because, the shop you got them done at doesn’t want anything to do with them anymore which is FINE, but at least answer questions if people have questions or you know..try giving recommendations of other shops that can help.. The rude “i mean u can come up to speak to the jeweler but she doesnt do anything for back dermals so, thats on you” response i got from the owner (thats been running this business for 20 years that DID NOT do any of the piercings on my body) even though the jeweler has worked with my dermals EVEN AFTER she stopped doing them..instead of “you can come up here to speak to the jeweler or heres the jeweler on the phone so you can ask your simple question” was very distasteful and horrible customer service and i will never get any work done here again.

Fantastic experience: I was getting my nipples pierced and the lady that did them was so sweet and funny and she did them so quick they were absolutely painless. I 100% recommend this place for your piercing needs!!

Negative experience: got my belly button pierced and it was great for the first 2 days. after that, everything went downhill. she didn’t really do a good assessment of my anatomy and it got stuck mid pierce. when i was done, i opened my eyes and all my friends were staring at me with their mouths wide open. i watched the video back and i understood why lol. everyone will recommend something different for aftercare but she didn’t go through it very well either. it’s been so so irritated and im not sure if that’s because its rejecting, it was a rough pierce, or the jewelry is just crap. at the end of the day, im the idiot for getting my belly pierced for 20 dollars and just remember, you get what you pay for. i thought it was also sketchy they didn’t need a copy of your drivers license, which they do everywhere else. loved the girl though, she was super sweet. my friends’ noses are healing well but from now on, im good with paying money for good jewelry at a place with a lower turnover rate somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Septum and right side of my nose was pierced here and I love both :) She was a blonde lady. Very sweet as well as the lady up front.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten 6 body piercings done here and have no complaints or issues whatsoever. The people are awesome and friendly too!

Negative experience: They are VERY unprofessional. I called an hour in advance about a tattoo that I was looking forward to getting and I was told that the tattoo artist was out but they would be back within the next hour. I arrive an hour later and then I was told by the tattoo artist he would not tattoo me. He then threw a temper tantrum and when i was pulling away i saw him being reprimanded like a child outside of the shop.

Positive experience: Cash only establishment but they do have an ATM on site. No appointment we walked to get a nose piercing. Very fast and professional

Fantastic experience: Went in to get a price on a particular tattoo. The price was reasonable for the shop. Went back the next day for two (2) piercings and was very satisfied with the quickness of her work. I plan on going back for my tattoos.

Negative experience: Finally was able to have a girls day out shopping getting a piercings ex. We get the this place and it is pretty busy with only one person in the place. After waiting almost 45 minutes in line for 4 people to get a piercing. We finally get called we I go first she asked me what kinda piercing do you want witch I told her when she did the paperwork. When we’re done, I get to looking and the bar Looks a little small for a new tongue piercing. So I get back home eat some ice cold stuff, right? My tongue was so swollen the next morning it was the size of a kiwi. I could not breathe. I was hyperventilating and having anxiety attacks all night because my tongue hurts so bad. I was told that she had pierced through the nerve underneath my tongue. That in its self is dangerous. Couldn’t you paralyze you. And the fact that I have a nipple ring bar through my tongue, has me mind boggled for real i thought It would be a bigger longer bar because of the swelling. I had to take the piercing out because I was in so much pain. What a waste money.

Fantastic experience: Went in to get my cartilage pierced and was out in 15 minutes! The lady was amazing and I could tell she knew what she was doing! Very professional and could tell she cared about her clients. Would definitely go back!

Negative experience: Came in about 3 month ago, when I got there 2 different artist were fighting over whether the more experienced guy would take both me and my friend. It ended up my friend got the more experienced guy and I got some guy that had only been there like 30 days. No one ever told me he was brand new but when i asked him how long he had been doin tattoos and he said about 30 days on the floor .... I personally feel like they should have asked my preference because I don't like my tattoo the lines are not straight, he missed some spots that needs to be colored in, and some of the line work already faded. It's now my least favorite tattoo I'm probably going to have to cover up now. Very dissatisfied! 100 dollars for a crappy tattoo that's was literally only 8 letters and 6 numbers very small thank god! Please in future educate your clients. I only went cause I heard it on 103.3 they raved about this place. Overall very not a good experience but I gave a 2 start cause my friend had a great experience and tattoo with clean lines.

Fantastic experience: Clean shop and nice ppl all piercings above waist are $20 went in and got several piercings for myself and daughters and was treated well. No issues at all.

Positive experience: I love shrunken head I’ve been getting piercings here for years the only issue I have is they go through piercers very quickly and it’s hard to gauge when I will get pierced correctly, the last piercer I had when I went did my anti eyebrow and it rejected out of my face in less than 2 months, I cleaned it in the morning and before I went to bed, I did not sleep on it, I did not touch it, no matter what I did it would not heal and I found out I was pierced with jewelry that would not work for that piercing in the first place so I just have a really nasty scar on my face now. My other piercings have done fine but they were don’t by other piercings, if you are going to get piercings here please just consider they do not keep a piercer for longer that a year I’ve been going there for 3 years and I have had 4 different piercers. The most recent one messed my piercing up so bad I can’t convince myself to go back even for the cheap prices

Negative experience: I hate my tattoo I got the same tattoo done 3 times and it looked different each time you can’t even read it the y and r is smushed definitely not what I expected from mark I will not be returning I have to go somewhere to pay more money to get this fixed if it can be fixed I’m extremely unsatisfied and these are supposed to be professionals waste of money

Fantastic experience: I went for a piercing, my rook this time. She is by far my favorite piercer and the only one I will go to. I trust her and have never had any issues with my piercings from her. She makes you feel comfortable. I also took my daughter for her septum.

Negative experience: Beware of this place! Cheap piercings for a reason! My septum fell out and didn't heal properly. Also they didn't pierce in the correct location.

Fantastic experience: Great experience!! Brandon was super nice and understanding. Then when I had an issue I had to go back for advise and help. Brandon wasn’t there but this lady with blonde hair super nice piercer. Was more than willing to help me out change out my piercings with no push back or anything. I’m going back for more. lol BEWARE ITS VERY ADDICTIVE!!

Positive experience: This is the only shop that professional does snake eye/ scoop (or frog eyes) piercing in KC!!! I had this piercings from 2023, but I had to take it out because of some personal reason. When I got it done, I lived in Jamaican so I had no problem getting it- now moving means I got to find a new piercing shop. Once, I saw a customer with a snake eye piercing, and I asked where she got it done- She said shrunkin head. So I was like aiiite. Got my piercing in April (when it was the eclipse, lmao) and the only reason why I rated 4 stars, is because it was pierced lean. And during the healing process, it was really bothering me. As I said, I had this piercing before so he just pierced through the scar. But after the healing process- it was fine. Didn’t seem that obvious. And did I mention it was cheap? I paid $20 for my piercing!!! But I love my babyand I am glad that someone in KC does snake eye/scoop. But I recommend getting this piercing that I have (far back from the tip) so it doesn’t hit on your teeth whenever you speak!

Fantastic experience: Been there a few times and today when I went it was still the same awesome place with great artists, very friendly and 1 of the few places I've found that treat walk ins good. Even when they are busy. Tommy and Mark definitely enjoy what they do! Will be going back! Also my wife got a nose piercing quick easy and painless !

Negative experience: This place is a joke lol. I would NEVER get a tattoo here. Horrible "srtist" if you can call them that. But I guess if you care more about price than quality then go for it.

Fantastic experience: I had my eyebrow pierced by Jessica, she did amazing I was scared of was going to hurt, but it didn't!!

Positive experience: I got two facial piercings redone. One of them was pierced so crookedly it was almost coming out of my lip completely. In less than 48 hours I removed them to let them heal. I will get them redone at a different shop. The employees were friendly, but I don’t think the experience of piercing was there. A lesson learned.

Negative experience: I would give this place a zero if I could. My sister and I both went to get pierced here, and there is one surviving piercing out of the four we got together. I got two eyebrow piercings, and she got an industrial and a nostril. We both had horrible adverse effects and she ended up removing both of hers due to infection as well as the way they were pierced. My eyebrow piercings were pierced off-center, crooked, and both got infected and keep becoming infected. The last remaining piercing is on it's last leg and will most likely be removed. As an avid piercing enjoyer, I have never had such issues with my other piercings. Don't waste your time and money here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Negative experience: I made an appointment a week ahead of a time. Then called and verified the day of . Then drove 45 miles to the tattoo shop for the girl to tell me I needed to make an appointment because it was 5pm and she wouldn't have time.. they close at 10 and were laying in the chair when we walked in. Not to mention I made the appointment a week ahead of time with a guy who was not there.

Fantastic experience: Took my boys to get snake bites and we had a great experience. We definitely will be going back in the future!

Negative experience: I went in Saturday 2/24 /24 with a friend to get an ear piercing and a small tattoo . I’ve been here several times for piercings , and always had a good experience. Unfortunately , we weren’t able to get our piercings because the lady piercing that night was finished working by the time we arrived . . No problem at all ! So , we went ahead and got tattoos. We asked for two hearts that lay vertical on the back of our neck . We received a subpar job to say the least .We contacted the tattoo artist by the name of “Des” , and all he offered us was a touch up in two weeks . No “I’m sorry that you didn’t like the work that was done .” Or any remorse shown period . He was very nonchalant about the poor experience . $160 down the drain!!!(he charged us $80 / piece) . Very

Fantastic experience: 10/21/23 The process was very quick. I got my lip repierced, and my mom got an eyebrow piercing. Only cost $20 for above waist piercings.

Negative experience: Avoid Chris Butcher at ALL costs! He was rude and unprofessional during our interaction. I decided to go somewhere else. His personal hygiene seemed subpar. Not a good sign.

Positive experience: I came here to get my ear pierced maybe 3 years ago now (had one ear pierced when I was younger not both because my dad was old school) I thought that the hole closed up because I hadn’t worn earrings in a while but I finally had someone else put in earring on me and they let me know that it wasn’t closed it was just done at a super funky angle. So ultimately, I feel like I got what I wanted lol I came here because someone told me every piercing above the waist is $20.

Fantastic experience: i got my lip pierced and they look so good, the piercer emmy was so sweet and made me feel right at home. it was quick and easy. 10/10 will be coming here for any future piercings.

Negative experience: Came here with my sister got here about 30 minutes before close they said on the phone they would still do our piercings. After we got here they said they couldn't do it and became very rude with us.

Fantastic experience: ALL of the staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. Lisa pierced me and it was the quickest and most pleasant experience I’ve had anywhere in KCMO. She walked through each step as she was doing my piercing and went over aftercare well and what I can expect while I heal. The shop is also clean and has fair rates for their services!

Fantastic experience: I recently had my spectrum pierced here, along with my wife's sister (we are all frequent returning customers). The piercers are very polite, informative, and really just fun people. Plus, it was only $20 to get each of our septums done!

Negative experience: This rating is for the second visit here the first time the piercer did a good job on my 2 nieces nose piercings but the second time the Hispanic lady was unprofessional she had no kind of communication she didn’t even tell them about aftercare she came off rude and acted like she didn’t want to be there if we have known the other lady wasn’t gonna be there today we would have not went there because this lady has an ugly personality and didn’t deserve our business.

Fantastic experience: I’m here probably twice a month, I’m rarely talkative with the artists but I know well enough to say that they have excellent service and amazing work overall. From the tattoos to the piercings I tell myself I don’t need (but end up walking out with new holes in my face or new ink on my body anyways). It’s always a pleasure to come to this shop. Negative experience: My best friend and I went here last weekend to get belly piercings and now they're both infected. My friend who is a professional piercer said that they used the wrong jewelry on us and that it's too small. Now I have to take the whole ring out and wait two months for it to heal altogether. Sad thing is I had a gut feeling we should've went to Freaks on Broadway instead. I guess it's just a learning experience lol.

Negative experience: I came in to get my daughter's names on my arms. He tattooed me with a broken moter that kept messing up. Paid him $200 to mess up what were supposed to be very sentimental tattoos. I didn't find out until after the tattoos were finished that it was an apprentice that did them. And I honestly wouldn't have had a problem with that if the tattoos would be good quality. They are horrible. And he scarred my arms up badly. They look like jail homemade tattoos. And to add to everything he changed the font that I had picked out. I called to see if anything could be done but they said only he could touch them up. I feel extremely taken advantage of. I regret paying honestly. I paid to ruin my arms. After my friends and family saw these tattoos they were so angry. And now that it has sank in just how badly everything went I'm angry too.

Negative experience: I visited this place to change 2 piercings and the attention was lousy. the blonde girl at the counter just didn't pay attention to my questions and if she answered them it was in a bad way. she was inattentive and somewhat rude. she just didn't want to work.

Negative experience: BEWARE OF IN-STORE ATM! Had to use the ATM and same night mysteriously had $200 taken out through Venmo which was NEVER used or even downloaded. I called the store to ask if anyone else had complained of something similar and was immediately yelled at and threatened to have cops called on me if I came in to look at the ATM to see if there was a secret card reader attached. On to actual piercings: Bellybutton crooked -Lip pierced so close to surface you could see the back of the bar inside my mouth -Had balls fall off 2 piercings as soon as we left -Septum crooked -Used incorrect jewelry pieces for 2 piercings All in all I MIGHT have considered going back for an easy piercing for cheap, but NOT after the reaction I got on the phone(not even because of the potential scam). Even if was some big coincidence, they should have been nicer about my inquiries.

Negative experience: Came here to get my tongue pierced. The lady who pierced my tongue was super sweet and nice however when she placed the dots they were not even. I had spoken up and said something and she fixed them but my piercing still turned out uneven and crooked :(. Super sad. I didn’t know what to do so I took the piercing out. Their sign says no refunds on piercings . Even though the piercing was not healed all the way you can tell that it is very uneven and crooked.

Fantastic experience: Had a couple of secondary ear piercings done by Destiny, she was very quick, courteous, and thoroughly explained the process as well as answering all of my questions. Very knowledgeable and kind. I'd definitely come back to her again, thanks guys!

Positive experience: I like this shop, it's pretty chill except on the weekends when it tends to get packed. The piercing lady in back went above and beyond to do exactly what I wanted and was a kind lady. Other staff seemed nice as well an the tattoo artist guy knows his stuff. Gave it 4 stars only becuz of the wait, I was in there almost 2 hrs an has am event that day. They should have a system to where you check in like great clips an they text you when it's near your turn...overall good quality shop (could use a make over)

Fantastic experience: I’ll give a 5 star because of the owner. She’s knowledgeable fast friendly and made it very painless. As for her daughter she needs more practice or I should say more sit down with her mom and watch her do a few more job so she’d get on her mom level because unfortunately we all get old. When mom do the piercing it’s no problem. But when the daughter does it’s not right idk maybe it’s just me. But I always leave when I don’t see the mom just because when she does it mines heal with no problem but when the daughter did mines twice I had healing problems. So big shout out the the Mom I’m bad with name’s so I do not remember her name.

We plan on going back next month to get more piercings they were funny and nice but when I went with my second sister the girl destiny had us waiting forever while she talking to some guy. Negative experience: Very disappointed with my service. I have 2 other tattoos and never had this issue before. My tattoo looks awful and healed very weird. When I went to talk with them I was told it was our fault and that they where just irritated. This clearly shows otherwise. Instead of addressing the issue they just blamed it on us and said we don’t know how to take care of tattoos. If it was just one of us I could understand but for all 3 of us to have the same issue somethings wrong.

Fantastic experience: I went in to get my first tattoo. I went to Trevor for my tattoo because I've heard a lot about his work and from what I had seen he was an very talented artist. I was told to give him an idea and let him do his thing. I would have to say that I will not go to another artist after going through him.
