Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing and they are so polite. The moment I walked in I was greeted and offered a beverage. They are both so easy to talk to and joke around with its like I new them forever. They allowed me to create my own piece and when I thought of an idea to add They did it know problem matter a fact he loved the new color I asked to be added. The tat came out better then I could have ever imagine. I can not wait to go back. Tats are my therapy. Thank u so much and I love our selfie we took.

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo done here with east coast ink and it was a great experience. Jimmie did my tattoo and I was nervous and he made the experience light hearted and funny. Negative experience: if i could do 0 stars i would, i called to get a piercing and she said it would be $60 on the phone, when i got there… she said $80. Which was already my suspicion.. i got a eyebrow piercing and it got super badly infected so i went to go get it taken out. the piercer who took it out said i did NOT have the right anatomy for a eyebrow piercing and that the bar was way to small. so if your gonna get a piercer go somewhere where they won’t take your money and be crooks and not use proper piercings.

She’s not just amazing at her job — she’s got the kind of energy that makes you instantly feel safe, hyped, and like you’re besties by the end of it. I’m completely obsessed with how she’s curating my ear — every piece is perfectly “me,” and she’s doing it all without sending my bank account into cardiac arrest. Fantastic experience: I have now had three recent tattoos done here (4 counting one from 2015, but most from Jimmy himself) and they have been great. He gives great aftercare advice, and he touched up my 15-year old tattoo to make it look better with the new one I got today. His location is great for the Northtowns and I will probably return in mere months. Such a comfortable atmosphere and great work can be expected.

Fantastic experience: I was a walk in and was accommodated immediately and given advice and requested my opinion numerous times. I didn’t leave with any regrets and would recommend her for any ink. Price was good for a medium sized tattoo alongside consultation. Her apprentice Jewels also made the experience better and helped me decide on an anti tragus which was funner than what I originally came in. Will be back for a future piercing.

Negative experience: I received my very first tattoo a few years back a at this location on Millersport Hwy, Buffalo since I attended UB that was nearby. I’m oblivious since it’s my very first tattoo unsure on how pricing worked and their quality I gave this tattoo shop a chance. Worst tattoo artist his name Jimmie or Johnniethe owner/tattoo artist or both. I have currently 6 tattoos now but by far my first tattoo from here was the most sloppiest, unprofessional with the amount of weed smoke breaks he had, quality of work was not worth the price named by him, Jimmie/Johnnie I’m thinking his name Jimmie very heavy handedI get your a big tattoo artist in terms of body size but doesn’t mean I need bumps on my arm from the deep lines you made, was also even bleeding on my arm for 2-3 days straight due to how heavy handed your tracing of a tattoo was. Literally the other 5 tattoos I’ve had no bumps, quality was worth its price, bleeding stopped for me less then 24hrs for my other tattoos that’s not here. To wrap things up I honestly wish I could give a zero or negative rating for this shop but I cant, if you want a simple tattoos or some words/letters for a tattoo this could be a place for you maybe can’t mess that up right?? but if you want better realism or quality art tattoos I highly highly recommend elsewhere not worth the price and quality especially if it’s your first don’t be like me! Don’t be fooled by the amount of 5 stars he offers discounts or coupons to customers to give him 5 stars rating so the true actual 5 star rating may be actually lower then it seems. Even though it’s been years since I got a tattoo here just doesn’t sit right with me so just want to give people a fair warning. It’s worth it to spend a bit more for the quality since tattoos are permanent would want something you like/love and not something you hate/disgust/regret.

Fantastic experience: The other day I got a tattoo by Jimmie East the owner. He did an amazing job and it was done very efficiently!

Negative experience: Completely unprofessional all I did was get jewelry from an existing piercing removed which is free everywhere else she didn't talk price till after the service and even before we started the shop owner yelled at me she was completely unprofessional and talked badly about my piercer and she charged me 20 dollars after the fact and I didnt even have her put in new jewelry

Fantastic experience: I last minute, was looking for somewhere to take my daughter to get her ears pierced on her birthday. I called East Coast Ink and Kym came in on her day off to get it done. She was so good with explaining everything and calming my daughter down when she got nervous. So happy with our experience and will def be back with my other two daughters!!! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Just left after getting a tattoo with Alec and I am so happy! It was my first tattoo and I was a tad nervous but everyone was so nice and helped me. everything was clean and smelled clean when you walked in. He was very kind and helped with my vision even though I wasn’t sure what I totally wanted. Lines were super clean and attention to detail was impeccable. Will be getting more with him at this shop in the near future!

Fantastic experience: A couple weeks ago I went to East Coast Ink for a tattoo appointment (and unplanned ear piercing by the best in Buffalo, Kym who is so smart and genuine in what she does and is an extremely awesome person to be around!) and I left amazing looking tattoos and piercing. They really made an impact on me beyond the services as they are so personable, hilarious and had one of the best times ever with them that day, I’ll never forget it! If you want a great tattoo or piercing with added fun and memories, this is the spot!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I came in for ear piercings, she got her daith pierced and I was unsure of what I wanted. Kym was fantastic, gave me recommendations and I ended up with two that she suggested. The process was easy and fun. Kym took her time with both of us, explained everything, answered all of our questions and we left very happy! No problems healing at all because we’re following her post care instructions. We will definitely be back!

Negative experience: My cousins and I came in for a tiny tattoo. They said they accepted walk ins. We walked in and there was a guy sitting on the chair. At first I thought he was waiting for a tattoo. Turns out he was an "artist." His demeanor was rude right off the bat. We called in ahead of time to make sure they accepted walk ins. There were 5 of us. Maybe we should have specified, but that doesnt warrant shitty attitude. The girl working was just as rude. The entire time all they did was talk shit and even made a snarky comment about my physical appearance and another customers physical appearance, then claimed they were joking as we decided to leave. Bad customer service. 0/5 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Got my toddler’s ears pierced with Kym. She was fantastic! Kym walked my daughter through every step and was so kind and nice. We would definitely return to work with her again!

Negative experience: Went for a bellybutton piercing first couple of times he did it it was crooked so in total my belly button was pierced three times, by the third time I threw up and passed out. I left with it straight, but it never 100% healed and a couple of weeks ago my skin ripped open and the piercing fell out. absolutely horrible experience do not go here.

Negative experience: Kim’s tattoo work was not good. look at the tattoo and look at stencil, it says it all. This cost $225. The appointment was booked with Jimmy, who seems like a respectable artist, but for some reason it was passed it off to Kym last minute. Jimmy reached out after the fact apologizing and offered kindly to fix my sisters tattoo and give her a free one, but since it’s still healing we will not be going back at this time. I do think his offer was very kind and respectable

Negative experience: Memorial tattoo gone bad..This was my 1st tattoo. I showed him exactly what I wanted with great details. He was price gouging for the tattoo. The tattoo took 3 days session, he originally quoted 2 days...a 4 session was needed I refused because I was uncomfortable in that atmosphere. 15 plus yrs of experience wasn't demonstrated through this horrible free style tattoo. He went too big with this free style design, he got lost in the design and didn't have the skills to pull the design together. A lot of details were left out of the tattoo but the price only went up. He was rude, I thought was going to have to physically defend myself!!

Negative experience: If I could rate this place 0 stars I would, unfortunately yelp makes you at least rate it 1 star. The owner Jimmy and his accomplice (the piecer) are highly unprofessional and lacked basic etiquette when it comes to being an owner of a shop and being a tattooer in general. I went into the shop and experienced sexual harassment the entire time, the owner made me strip down to basically naked unnecessarily, making sexual advances and comments. Making inappropriate advances. Highly would not recommend any woman going in this establishment. If anything it should be shut down.

Fantastic experience: Just got my fresh new ink from the best tattoo shop i’ve been to in the WNY area. If you are having doubts about coming here please get rid of those doubts. Jimmie East is one of the most kind hearted person Ive meet out of all the artists ive come in contact with. He is always making sure you are good and well hydrated before he even thinks about touching a needle to you. And Alec Szluchetka is another artist i had assisting Jimmie in this tattoo. They were both amazing, Alec was there to help distract my mind and ensure the right moves were made to make this an exceptional tattoo!!! Kym blackhart their piercer is also one of the best around, she will set you up with all your piercings and after care needs!!! She is always there to help ease the nerves and tension of getting a tattoo or a piercing!!! Just because my review is mainly about ink doesnt mean she doesn’t deserve a shoutout as well!!! When i got my 2nd nose piercing she was there to comfort me and make sure I was set before putting any needles to my skin!! THESE PEOPLE WILL GET YOU RIGHT!!! Please don’t consider anyone else!!! THEY ARE THE BEST L!!!!

Fantastic experience: i went to get my eyebrow pierced here and had it done by kym. it was a very good experience, friendly and inviting! the piercing wasn't painful and i was well informed on care for it and the process on getting it pierced and she gave me a spray to clean it after as well as advice and a personal card in case i needed advice on aftercare. in total it cost $100 and was worth it

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews, but this is one of the worst experiences I've had getting tattooed. And I've been to many tattoo artists. Jimmie East was highly unprofessional, both during and after my tattoo session this week. He made several inappropriate comments. He offered me alcohol and cannabis multiple times, even after each refusal. His only apology was "I'm sorry if I offended you." I was uncomfortable to say the least, and when I told him so, he said I had offended him. Before leaving I saw my PayPal payment was pending, and left him my email so if there was a problem he could contact me. I said I could resend it no problem. Then he sends me an email threatening to call the police and to have them get a warrant. For a pending payment. The tattoos came out good, but his behavior for this entire experience has been uncalled for and very unprofessional. Do not get tattooed or pierced here.

Fantastic experience: Alec is really good at what he does. I asked for two small tigers on the inside of my bicep that he did perfectly. There’s so much detail in both, even being a small tattoo. The studio is clean and all the people are friendly. It was also reasonably priced. I highly recommend Alec for your next tattoo!

Positive experience: Me and my siblings got a tattoo here. The 2 employees there, male and female, were very nice. They did our tattoos well, however the owner is unprofessional. He made comments about my brother’s first tattoo calling it gay, how he acts towards his employees is distasteful and made the experience less enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Kym is so great! I was nervous and she talked to me the whole time and she made my piercing experience fast and memorable. The shop is very welcoming and has a nice set up. Overall everything was great and I’ll be back again!

Fantastic experience: The shop was very clean and well kept. The atmosphere was chill, relaxed, and just had the best vide. Kym is the sweetest and did an amazing job and even added a very special touch. She talked me through everything, told me what to expect since I haven't had a tat in over 15 yrs, and the experience was amazing. Recommend this shop over any in Buffalo!!!

Fantastic experience: I lost the ball to my cartilage hoop so I called here to see if they could help me out, and they were very accommodating and reassuring over the phone. I came in and Jimmie took out my original hoop and replaced it with another hoop and it was very quick! He gave me a lot of advice on how to properly clean my piercings, even giving me a sheet with the necessary instructions and products on it. Thanks Jimmie! I’m very happy with the results and I will be back!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I flew into Buffalo for a road trip. We came in the tattoo shop late and she recommended we come in the next day and gave us a few fun spots to spend our night in. Next day we each got a tattoo and we all connected so well with Kim and Lavender. Kim made us feel like we were home and we probably had one of the best experiences at a tattoo shop! Kim did my friends color flower tattoo, Lavender did my dainty line piece. Everything turned out beautifully. Highly recommend! Very clean, clear instructions before, during and after care.
