Fantastic experience: My sister and I went in today and got our second ear lobe piercings and Bryan was AMAZING! So nice and helpful! The shop was very clean and he was very attentive to keeping it that way. We were able to walk in and get helped very quickly! He took the time to educate us about piercings and why piercing guns hurt more and cause more trauma. The vibe was perfect, we had a great time and would definitely recommend! Will definitely come back for any other piercing or tattooing needs!

Fantastic experience: My son is on leave from the Marines for the holidays. We wanted to get Mom and Son matching traditional tattoos. Like the heart with a ribbon that says Mom. After my son researched many tattoo parlors he landed on Absolute Body Art. We went in on Sunday and Bryan asked if he could draw it up as his own idea/work. I love it when artist do that! We went in today to get it done and we are sooo happy with the results. Bryan is amazing. He is definitely into details and making sure his customers are happy and aware of everything. We love our tattoos and each one's uniqueness. Thank you Bryan you have returning clients for life.

Very welcoming and very accommodating, but I came in today to get a smaller bar for my tongue piercing, Bryan is the one that did it both times and an absolute joy to be around!! Fantastic experience: Went in on a whim as a walk-in, first ever tattoo and was beyond pleased! I had a concept for a simple, meaningful tattoo and it was upgraded to a beautiful, elegant, simple piece that I will cherish. Also did a quick nose piercing because, why not? I was met only with the most professional, kind and caring service. The facility was whimsically decorated and very clean. Will absolutely be back for more, and my daughter is even booking services.

Negative experience: Went here for three walk in tattoo on 10/5/25 and they all came out terribly. The artists seemed put out that we even came in. Tried to scare us off by telling us the shop minimum was $150. And then one of the three tattoos has such bad blow out I don’t think it can be fixed. No care was taken and he seemed in a rush. If you don’t want to tattoo walk ins put out a sign that says no walk ins. We chose to go here because of all the amazing reviews. Well lesson learned. We should have walked out.

Fantastic experience: Integrity. We went for, but didn’t get my 15-year-old daughter’s belly button pierced. He wouldn’t take my money and pierce my Daughter’s naval, knowing it wouldn’t heal properly. As such, I will always recommend this guy. He did pierce my daughter’s friend’s naval, because she had the proper anatomy, and it looks beautiful. I recommend this place 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: i had recently gotten a tongue piercing from this shop. they were welcoming and had done my piercing correctly but i was pierced with low quality jewelry. i had shown signs of a painful allergic reaction leaving me to go to urgent care. i was told to visit a different shop where i was also told the jewelry was low quality. ever since it has been changed, my tongue has continued to heal properly with no excessive pain. do not get pierced here.

Negative experience: The person when we came in seemed super professional really fast and super kind during the procedure. afterwards we found out he used the wrong type of bar in my anti eyebrow piercing which resulted in me needing to get it removed. they say they use curved bars but in reality it's a straight bar that the piercer puts a SLIGHT bend in. I would not suggest getting any type of surface piercing from this place EVER. When I called to ask for even partial refund for basically lying about the type of bar he used he said I was only eligible for store credit and that most piercers use straight bars which is inherently a lie. The piercer I went to that removed it said that anything other than staple or curved bars is not a standard practice in any shape or form. And that there was no way it would've healed properly and it was bound to reject. When I told him multiple piercers agreed, he said that it "would've healed fine." I will never be coming here again and I will be telling everyone I know the same.

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter in to get a naval piercing and the owner was very realistic with her that she didn't have the proper anatomy for that type of piercing - so she ended up getting her septum instead. Absolutely appreciated the honesty! And he did an amazing job! Shop is clean and welcoming!

Negative experience: DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE! I got both a medusa and a nose piercing when he did my medusa he was struggling for minutes doing it probably took 5 minutes which most piercings typically take a minute or 2 and could not seem to steady his hands to insert the jewelry so it was extremely painful having him fidget with my lip for so long plus I was sitting up and bled on my clothes and he kept saying I was bleeding a lot which I was and its because he was moving it around so much just getting it in then when he was done I looked and saw the placement was off the bottom of the jewelry sat at the front of my lip where you could see without me opening my mouth or flipping my lip up so I told him it needed to be redone so he tried again and same deal struggling for minutes and excruciating pain but this time I laid down so I would not bleed on my clothes a lot again and this time it was crooked he pierced it at a slanted angle at that point I did not want him to try anymore but he did my nose piercing just fine but he put a short L shaped stud in that came out easily and it was overpriced he charged me $80 for both a medusa and a nose piercing and I have never paid that much for a nose piercing anywhere in WA and I have had it done at least 4 times before and to top it off I asked for a possible discount because that would be the polite thing to do after that he said the most he could do was $10 off or free saline solution overall I paid $160 for the worst piercing experience in my life and left unsatisfied anyway go to Absolute Ink in Burien I went there and got my lip medusa straightened out and my nose jewelry replaced all for just $50 and the process was quick and almost painless.

Positive experience: tl/dr: He came off rude at first meeting him. Maybe it was a bad day. Made the appointment. Day of, he said some rather rude things about "illegals". Was told to make a 5 star review before leaving after the tat was done while he stood by watching that be done. Tattoos turned out good and he was professional for that part. The whole story: I picked Absolute Body Art because of the high reviews, and it said he'd been in business for 28 yrs. However, after my tattoo was done and I had paid he told my friend and I to make a 5 star review before we left. We both did as he was standing and watching. When I first met Bryan it wasn't the greatest first impression. It was a few days before I got the tattoo. Google listed the shop opened at 11am. I got there at 1 pm. I went in and there was no one around. Once I finally found him off in a back room. He came out and said "we aren't even open, Google lies". And he seemed annoyed that I was there. I showed him what I wanted, a paw print of my dog who recently passed, and her ear outline. He said he could do that later in the week. Cool. He slid the paperwork to me, told me there was a $100 deposit. I mentioned I didn't have cash and that I'd have to run home. He yoinked the paper back from me and said I couldn't fill it out until I paid. When I got back with the cash, he again wasn't in front, I waited, again, and went looking for him again, found him and then filled out the papers and paid the deposit. The day of my appointment he was outside smoking when I got there, I wasn't early. I stood outside with him and we talked a little, he seemed much less annoyed than the few days before. He then made a comment about not being political at all and then proceeded in saying rude, and untrue, things about "illegals". We went in and he got everything he needed done for the tattoos, he was professional about that and made sure he understood what I was looking for. The tattoo process was as expected. The top of the hand hurt way less than I'd expected. The tattoos came out good, maybe larger pieces are more his thing though. Personalities didn't vibe at all and I definitely prefer to have that with my tattoo artist. His work is good. But I'll be finding somewhere else to go for the next tattoo.
