Fantastic experience: I walked in today and they were able to fit me in. I felt very safe with how they sterilize their equipment. They also had jewelry that’s pretty cute and fits my sensitive skin needs. Cody was a great piercer. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing it every step and check that the placement for the piercings look correct. He also warned me and coached me through the painful parts of the piercing. That said do not go into the pizza shop guys parking lot. I know there’s not a lot of parking in front of the shop, but the pizza guy does look like he will stab you if you park your car in his lot and walk away.

Positive experience: I got 2 different piercings. Harley was my piercer and was wonderful. Very polite. Great instructions and walked you through every step of the process making sure you were ready for the piercing. Harley was very knowledgeable about re-piercing as well!

Fantastic experience: Harley and Rowan are the BEST! They were the most helpful when I had an issue with my rook piercing jewelry. They were kind, helpful, and overall made what could have been an icky situation 1000 times better. Harley has pierced me in the past and is always the epitome of professionalism and kindness. Had a small tattoo done here too a few years back and was very happy with it.

Negative experience: The tattoos and the customer service at this location is not worth the price that they are quoting people. There are better artists. Who value the input of their clients a whole lot more around the greater Houston area than these gentlemen here. I felt mistreated the moment I walked to the counter and asked for a detailed art work for something that should have been simple (IE: shading) it a whole thing. The price kept fluctuating. The jokes from the two guys behind the desk were uncomfortable. I did not like the vibes at all and I was not comfortable shoveling out the money they were asking for when I couldn't even trust them as artists to listen to my input without cutting me off mid-sentence and then walking away like the conversation still wasn't open. This is my skin. This art is permanent. And half of the questions I was asking they did not even have a legit answer for it. I should have never deviated from my regular artist.this was a spur of the moment adventure that turned into a NOPE.

Fantastic experience: 713 is SUCH a cool shop! I’ve been trying hard to find a shop in the area I liked because I recently moved back here. The shop: Everyone is suuuuper friendly and kind and talented. It’s clean, fun, and beautiful inside. Each artist uses clean new tools with each client. They offer piercings, tattoos, and beauty services. The shop is an ode to tattoo history and culture in a really lovely and respectful way. My artist: NATHAN!!!! I walked in without an appointment and I was greeted with warmth. After fumbling a bit to figure out what I wanted, I finally picked something. Mind you, the whole time I was fumbling, Nathan helped me and walked me through my choices. This was not my first nor my second or third tattoo, but I was stressed from work and just couldn’t decide. Anyway, he was the nicest person to work with. You can tell the crew gets along with each other and respect each other because they seemed like comrades. Go to this shop. Run, don’t walk. They also do specials for Friday the 13th! Just a rad place to get art done.

Fantastic experience: I came here specifically because Cody is the piercer& I have been following his online content. My adult daughter& I came in for nostril piercings. There are large display cases of high quality and beautiful jewelry for all types of piercings in waiting room. Cody explained the process thoroughly and we felt very safe and calm through the entire process. Both of us had nostril piercings previously but this time was very different and nearly painless. My eye didn't even water, didn't bleed. My nose is healing perfectly with the aftercare instructions. My nose hasn't been swollen nor sore. I will definitely come back to Cody for any future piercings.

Fantastic experience: Huge shoutout to Cody at 713 Tattoo! He did nipple piercings for my wife, Amber, about two weeks ago, and the initial experience was fantastic. Cody was incredibly professional, clean, and made sure she felt completely comfortable. We actually just went back in because she was having a little irritation with one of the two piercings. Cody took a look, knew exactly what to do, and completely resolved the issue—totally for free! Both are healing perfectly now and going extremely well. If you're looking for a skilled and truly supportive piercer who stands by his work, I highly recommend asking for Cody!

Fantastic experience: Got a double helix piercing saturday night and had a great experience!! Rowen at the front was super nice and informative about all the jewelry options (note that they only offer high end jewelry and a lil less high end jewelry this is not claires) and my group asked lots of questions and she answered them patiently. Cody (@piercingsbycody) was our piercer and he did an amazing job!! He’s got 18 yrs of experience and you can tell, I was so impressed that he pierced both holes at the same time so I wouldn’t have to go through the pinch twice like I expected!! Me and the others I went with agreed it was pretty much as painless as a piercing could be and he talked us through everything. I’m glad we could just trust him to know the best placement and we all left super excited and happy with the results. We also got after care books and we got advice as well, it’s not my first piercing so i know how it is and I appreciate that they didn’t try to sell me stuff that’s not needed (just keep it clean and act fast if you slip up and it starts to get infected!!) Cody offered to answer any questions if we text him on insta and that was so sweet. He’s a super nice guy and great piercer so ask for him if you can!!

Negative experience: Literally the most amateur and unprofessional piercing place I’ve ever been to. Just came back from here from trying to take my wife to get an infected piercing removed (which literally unless it’s super infected for a long time, any piercer shouldn’t have any problem removing) and they were super rude and non caring about it. First of all, before we went, my wife tried calling before hand to see if they do remove infected piercings and how much it would be, the lady on the phone was SUPER rude and unprofessional and gave her an attitude the whole time… we were just like whatever since it was late at night and the closest place to us that was open so we had no choice. Then when we got there we were waiting in line and were at the front, that same lady who was rude on the phone (which I could tell by her voice) completely ignored us and literally helped the person behind us instead I told her we were next and here before the person she skipped us for and passively aggressively said “well you can just be patient then a little while longer and I’ll help you :)” which made us hate her more than we already did. When it was finally our turn the piercer took one look at my wife’s ear and simply just didn’t want to remove it probably begaude she was too much of an amateur. She told me wife to get antibiotics from a doctor to get the swelling down then come back and get it removed??? The swelling wasn’t even that bad first of all plus any person with a brain and common sense knows how long realistically that would take and would make the infection worse. It’s a Friday night and no doctor would be available for days after scheduling an appointment??? She just kept saying “I can’t” over and over again. There’s a difference between “ I can’t” and “I won’t.” And she just simply didn’t want to help my wife who was in pain and remove the piercing before it was too late and gets worse. Any professional piercer who isn’t an amateur like the ones at this place can easily remove an infected piercing if it’s not too late which it simply wasn’t for my wife. The piercer kept saying my wife’s ear was leaking and had bumps even though it didn’t LOL. Luckily we found a place 20 minutes away that had 5 star reviews and were WAY better and knew what he was doing and removed her piercing no problem. He told us we came right in time and if we waited any longer it would’ve been worse and actually would’ve been harder to remove and need surgery… which is exactly what YOU guys wanted us to do and what we kept trying to tell you… I even told him about this place and what you guys told us and they even agreed you guys are stupid and don’t know what you’re doing and that also any piercer should be able to remove an infected piercing before it gets too late. You guys here just don’t know what you’re doing and are amateurs. This place doesn’t deserve the business it gets at ALL.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying. I had done so much research to find someone who was known for being precise and kind at piercing. I went to Meagan for my septum piercing and it healed AMAZINGLY. I’ve been going to 713 for the past two years and each time I’ve been treated with such kindness, respect and knowledge on what’s good for my body in terms of anatomy. I love the jewelry selection of 713 as I always find myself wanting so many! Yes piercings and tattoos are a commitment and investment but so is finding the best quality jewelry for a lifetime of coolness and swag. 15/10 on all aspects! The best of the best and I’ll continue coming here for all my piercing needs. Coli, their apprentice, has amazing services as well and always treats us beautifully. Love you both.

Fantastic experience: Walked in yesterday and right from the start we were obsessed with the atmosphere! Got helped immediately and working on the art pieces me and my man wanted to get. I was tattooed by Gabe and he was tattooed by Reeda. Him and I are both beyond happy with the pieces of work we got. Artists were talkative and attentive. I love a good tattoo show where you can chill, laugh, and have an overall great experience. This place was it! Will definitely be coming back.

Negative experience: Was so excited to go get a piercing because of their marketed high quality jewelry and piercings, but oh my goodness the lady manning the paperwork counter upstairs was so incredibly rude it gave us the worst vibe and instead we left. She had such a short tone, and completely refused to look at us when we came upstairs. I don't mind paying for good service and jewlery but the service here just made me uncomfortable so we just awkwardly looked around for a bit before quickly leaving. After I mentioned what happened to some of my coworkers I actually found out that others have had similar experiences with the level of cold service and it's not unusual. Looking at some of the other reviews makes me wish I had done a better deep dive.

Fantastic experience: Cody did a wonderful job with the triple helix I requested. The piercing itself is healing wonderfully and the placement is perfect. I've had several body and facial piercings, but I have to say that Cody has the absolute best bedside manner of anyone I've worked with. He carefully and methodically placed them, and each step was explained in such a way that made the process clear. I highly recommend both the studio and Cody (I think he'd be the perfect person for someone new to piercing as well), I've never had a bad time. The jewelry selection was amazing, the environment was clean and professional. Great experience!

Fantastic experience: My 14 year old daughter and I got our ears pierced by Cody today. I can’t say enough about how kind and helpful he was. He made us both feel calm and comfortable throughout the process! My daughter did GREAT, but on the way out the door started to pass out. Cody was kind enough to come down and help me calm her and sat with her while I got her a snack with water. He even walked her to our car to make sure she was okay. I am so thankful for Cody’s professionalism and kindness, and the piercings look great!

Negative experience: horrible service. harley pierced my septum incorrectly & it hurt soooo bad. he told me it was normal for me to lose feeling in my legs temporarily and pass out.. it hurt for about a month until i took it out. i actually tried going to them to get it out and they tried charging me $15?? i took it out myself and it closed in a day. went to get it pierced at the galleria and it did not hurt AT ALL..

Fantastic experience: This was my second time getting piercings from 713 and both experiences were seamless. I got 2 helix piercings from Colí and they came out perfectly! All the staff are so friendly and kind. 713 has an unmatched jewelry selection in all price ranges. I will be coming back again soon for more and asking for Colí again.

He was super friendly and did a wonderful job. It didn't take long at all, and they came out perfectly. I have several piercings already (these made 9) so I'm pretty used to the process, but I knew these would be the most painful so far and I'm so glad I came here. The whole process was completely sterile, and I was really relaxed the whole time (considering my circumstances lmao). The lady at the front desk was great as well. She explained the pricing up front, and was super helpful when I was picking my jewelry as well. There were a ton of jewelry options to choose from, and I was so thankful to get an aftercare booklet with my exact gauge, length, and material listed. The whole parlour was super cool and definitely inviting. The cost for both piercings was $140 or $160 (I don't remember for sure), but I wanted gems, so it came out to $200, not including tip. It may be a little more expensive than some other places, but it was fully worth it, and I'm glad I chose 713. 10/10, and I will definitely be returning for any future piercings.

Fantastic experience: Cody is the coolest, cleanest and most precise piercer I’ve ever gone to! I have my left nostril pierced and he pierced my right without me having the jewelry in. It was actually so crazy when I got home and put my left nostril in and saw how symmetrical the piercings were. He also before leaving let us know about aftercare and the easiest way to clean mine. This was about a week and a half ago and my piercing isn’t tender anymore other than snagging it on clothing. This guy is crazy good! I’m going back soon for double lobes. He works Sunday & Monday!

I said it before and I’ll say it again — 713 is the only place in Houston you should be going to if you’re looking to get work done. I’ve gotten several large pieces done at 713, and every time I visit I leave even more impressed with the level of precision and expertise Homer Saenz (owner) brings to the table - not to mention the world-class team of artists he has around him. I’ve spent a lot of time in the shop and can genuinely speak to the professionalism, skill, and authenticity of the entire staff. They’re also just an awesome group of people to interact with and talk to - which especially matters when you’re on the table for hours at a time. The whole team is ridiculously talented and they don’t just “tattoo you” — they actually care about the design, the placement, and making sure it fits your body perfectly. Bring them your ideas, but trust their recommendations — they’ll help you refine it and take it to the next level. Their professionalism doesn’t stop once you're out the door either - they'll check-in on healing, provide support on aftercare as well as any other general guidance you may need. Last thing I’ll say is the shop itself is a work of art in its own right — super clean, beautifully maintained, and a straight-up museum of tattoo artwork. The amount of designs they’ve collected and have on display is unreal. I haven’t seen anything like it at any other shop, and if you need inspiration, I guarantee you’ll find it somewhere on those walls. TL;DR: I have nothing but the highest respect for 713 and the incredible establishment Homer & his team have built over the past 25+ years. If you’re scouting for “the spot” in Houston… stop looking and go to the shop and see for yourself. They’ve more than earned my trust and they’ll be doing all of my tattoos going forward. Negative experience: Went in with my friends to get piercings. Instantly, older lady at desk was rude and not polite at all. Was not attentive to us, so we just left for better service experience. Prices are too high for unprofessional, rude service! Would not recommend!

Fantastic experience: Coli has done 4 piercings for me and each one of them has been seamless. Even as an apprentice, they’re confident and careful in everything they’ve done for me. It’s easy to trust them because they always take the time to explain the placement, areas of concern, and is transparent about what is best for the shape of my ear. That’s a big deal for me because I’m someone with a lot of questions and need to understand the “why” to feel comfortable. Thank you so much! Would highly recommend and plan to come back for many more ;) writing this review minutes after two new piercings so my ear is a bit raw but it was pretty painless!

He is very knowledgeable and helped explain everything that was happening as he was piercing which definitely helped in the moment. 713 is the only spot I go to for piercings bc years ago they helped me with an incorrectly pierced conch from another shop. Fantastic experience: We took our 18 year old son to get his ears pierced on 1/5/26 and had a GREAT experience with Cody Loman. Cody is super kind and friendly and VERY knowledgeable. He was very patient and thorough - he explained the entire process and answered all of our questions. He took the time to look at my son's ear and face shape made sure the piercing placement was just right. The piercing itself was quick and pretty much painless and Cody made sure my son was relaxed and comfortable through the whole procedure. He gave us a very thorough explanation of the healing process and his after-care instructions were great. My son walked out with the biggest smile and has been super happy with his ear piercing. It's been almost a week and he his healing great - no pain. We also want to compliment Izzy, who helped my son pick out his earrings - she was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable and took the time to make sure he picked out a pair that was a good size and style for his ears/face. The jewelry selection was great and all the pieces are high quality. We highly recommend 713 Tattoo and Cody Loman for piercing - very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable with great jewelry.

Fantastic experience: LOVED my experience here! I had my navel pierced by Cody after previously having it done (very incorrectly by someone else) years prior. Piercing through scar tissue and my anatomy was my concern but he analyzed the piercing area and gave it the green light. It was quick, just a pinch and he was so professional. I appreciate how knowledgeable and honest he is about the process. Izzy (working the front) was so sweet and made the whole experience even better. It was reasonably priced and they have such a good selection on hand. Highly recommend!!
