Josh has been tattooing me for years and has not given anything but his all in that time. To see him expand with a street shop has been a pleasure and a welcome refresh to the tattoo industry. Issac brings years of experience to the space and more verity as well as a great sense of humour. Fantastic experience: Easily the best tattoo experience of my life! My Dad and I got tattooed by Josh whilst on holiday to commemorate our motorcycle tour of New Zealand. The time, care and attention to detail Josh gave not only to the tattoos but also in getting to know us made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. The studio is immaculate, well presented and warm and great care was taken to ensure sterile, hygienic and aseptic practice. Josh and Isaac are not only highly professional but both extremely talented artists and genuinely lovely guys! I would highly recommend Nelson Tattoo Company to anyone. 10/10 experience!

Fantastic experience: Got my head tattooed by Joshuaw, completing my dome. I was completely comfortable to leave it totally in his hands, and was really blown away by his questions, and awesome input to help create a perfect piece for me. Despite the hectic area of the tattoo. Josh made sure I was as comfortable as I could be, his tattooing caused minimal trauma and the healing has been a dream. 5 Stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: My husband and I popped in for a last minute fine line each during our time in Nelson, and we had a great experience. The whole team is so friendly and welcoming, the studio is beautiful (love the decor), it’s just good vibes all round. Thanks to Isaac for our tattoos and taking such care with them.

Fantastic experience: Josh added to an existing tattoo for me using my own design, and the end result was not only exactly what I imagined, but better. From the initial consultation Josh was professional, generous with his time and above all else, he listened and took the time to understand what I was trying to achieve with the design, while offering his own thoughts and suggestions. It's clear that he's invested in providing a high quality service with the best possible results. The tattoo process was enjoyable and easy, with Josh communicating throughout and offering options and ideas, in between good banter and great music. The environment is bright, welcoming and immaculate. The time flew by and before I knew it the tattoo was done. I will be back for sure.

Fantastic experience: Popped into Nelson Tattoo Company for a Friday night walk-in and was greeted by Josh, who was an absolute pleasure. Together with a friend of mine we both got 1-2 new pieces each. Josh’s work is incredible, he made us both feel very safe and welcome in the studio. The space is stunning and super relaxed. We both love our new tattoos. All and all - a 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic experience: I have been getting tattooed by Josh over the last year and he got me hooked again. You can tell just by walking into the studio how professional himself, and his apprentice, Simon are. It's clean, it's stylish, it's cool, and always welcoming. I have my next tattoo with Simon already booked and shortly after that I'll be booking in again with Josh. I have not had a better tattoo experience than with these lads.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Josh enough!! His space is clean but not clinical feeling. Nothing feels rushed or pressured and Josh is honestly just a super nice guy. His art is amazing and he makes suggestions for improvements but also listens to and respects your decisions. It's the most comfortable I have EVER been while getting tattooed for sure. Such a lovely experience. 10000/10

Fantastic experience: I had my first tattoo with Josh a few years ago and he has never disappointed since. Josh provides a hygienic work area and ensures a comfortable experience whilst getting tattooed. Talking to Josh about the design you want is easy and he always has great ideas on how to alter the shape or design of the tattoo to make things fit nicer and more unique. I couldn’t be happier with the tattoos I’ve gotten and would recommend Josh to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I’m going on 4 years of being tattooed by Josh, and I just can’t speak highly enough of him! He’s so knowledgeable and great at what he does. His studio is always immaculately clean and inviting, he has great snacks, great taste in music and even offers Afterpay! Fantastic experience: I contacted Josh while in Nelson on holiday. He went out of his way to fit me in. It was my first tattoo and he went above and beyond to keep me informed throughout the whole process. My cousin who has several tattoos was with me and said Josh was the friendliest, most hygenic tattoo artist he had come across. You should definitely look up Josh if you're in the Nelson area. Especially if you're into trad.
