Negative experience: Wasn't the greatest experience and you'd imagine when paying on the higher end in this line of work. Poor communication between the artist and client. When asked to fix a section of the tattoo at the end of the session it was a problem and was told come back to get it done resulting in the business not replying.

Fantastic experience: Wow what an incredible experience! Booked James for our 25th anniversary ink and we felt like family the second we walked in the door. James is amazing at his craft and Brigitta was a wonderful host and kept us laughing and happy. Bravo Hellwolf!!! You set the bar, and thanks for all the Ireland tips and advice. Fantastic experience: I started going to James and Brigitta 2 years ago, I wanted to get a tattoo, his work was completely amazing, 2 years later I’ve 9 pieces of work done, 8 new and one cover up, the detail in these pieces are spectacular! I’ve my full arm done now moving onto my second arm then my chest. I’ll never get a tattoo from another artist! HIGHLY recommend Hellwolf tattoo studio Kilkenny!

Fantastic experience: James is a true artist. I went in knowing roughly what I wanted but his vision was so much better than I could have imagined. It is a deeply personal tattoo and he found exactly the right design and rendered it perfectly. He was also amazingly quick and virtually painless. I was only there during a vacation but will go back to Ireland specifically to visit he and Brigitta.They are such a good team and are wonderful people. I really hope they will come to visit me in California. If you're in Ireland and are looking for a tattoo that will be created with care and a mastery of the craft, Hellwolf Tattoo Studio is absolutely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I'm from Canada and my mom and I were on vacation in Ireland for 2 weeks. We decided to have a spontaneous Ireland themed tattoo each as a reminder of our trip. Both the tattoo artist and the other lady who worked there were super kind and friendly, and we're very pleasant to speak with! We both got a fine line tattoo and he was so gentle that you could hardly feel it. He was also patient and told us at any time, if we needed a break to just let him know. Overall an amazing experience and I HIGHLY recommend! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I got my first ever tattoo (aged 36) in july 21 by james and what an experience I had at Hellwolf Tattoo Studio. Today I returned for a big leg tattoo and foot tattoo. James redesigned my leg tattoo and im in love with it. I would Highly recommend james and brigitta..I was made feel so comfortable from the time I arrived on both occassions and james was so gentle he made it seem painless. James is beyond talented and his attention to detail is beyond compare. From the time u sit in the most comfortable chair till you leave its all talk and laughs. Fantastic experience: First time using this place (my last tattoo was when I was travelling so a good while ago) but safe to say probably one of my favourite tattoo experiences, super chill and everyone is so friendly. The guy who takes walk-ins made me feel so comfortable and also knew exactly what I wanted. He was very precise when doing the sketch as well as making sure I was 100% happy with it before proceeding. Shoutout to the receptionist - she is really cool and friendly! I will for sure be back! If you're looking for a relaxing, friendly and crafted tattoo artists in Kilkenny - then this is the one!

Fantastic experience: After having my previous tattoo artist leave the country, I was so happy to get in a few sessions with Hellwolf and he did not let me down! Being honest, I'd say he's actually improved my sleeve over time. A very talented artist, a genuinely nice team and a fantastic studio location (heart of Kilkenny city) are only some out of countless pros. Genuinely have no negatives. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Been tattooed here 3 times now, most recently last Tuesday and they haven’t let down yet. The owners are lovely and chat away to you while your stensil is being prepared, they can do absolutely any tattoo you want James is such a professional and is very quick to do his job. Most tattoo parlours are overpriced but I find this place to be very reasonable considering the quality of the tattoos are just amazing, thanks guys, I’ll be back again.
