Fantastic experience: Had a really good experience getting my piercing jewelry changed here. I was a bit unsure about what to choose and they were super helpful and attentive, even noticing small details about my style which made the whole process feel really personalised. The piercer I saw was really kind and made me feel comfortable throughout. The change itself was quick, clean, and way more comfortable than I expected. Overall, I felt very at ease and well taken care of. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a walk-in piercing appointment for my helix and had such a great experience. The staff were super helpful from the moment I came in. My piercer, Max, was so kind and explained everything clearly, which made me feel really comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and professional. I would 100% come back again for any future piercings!

Fantastic experience: Wanted to get an ear piercing. Hitting the "mid-life crisis" mode. Walk-in and just waited 30 mins and was done. Would recommend calling as they will let you know if there is a wait but cool guys and really great service. Will be back for after care

Negative experience: Visited the shop this evening. Was met by a very friendly helpful lady. All I was there was to do was buy a pair of earings for my partner! When I asked the price, she pointed to a young man and said ‘he is in charge’! I asked him the price, and he said I’ll check! Whilst walking to the back, he pointed his finger at a person sitting on the couch, saying ‘you’re next’! I was left there standing for ten minutes while 3 staff members at the counter said ‘where is he, what is he doing’, i asked one of the girls, she said ‘he’s coming’…more time went by… I just left… Less than one star, but one is the minimum…terrible service, avoid!

Fantastic experience: Great experience, first time and amazing quick service. Got a tattoo from Maus and it is amazing. Quick, clean, efficient and very very friendly staff. Feels welcoming and comfortable. Came in as a walk in and walked out right away.

Negative experience: I went in for a toungue piercing was told no due to my age i still needed a piercing removed , and so i went got my tongue pierced some where else (banshee tattoo and piercings) when I went back to get the piercing removed max saw i had got my tongue pierced somewhere else and his mood instantly changed he became rude and kept saying horrible which Is super unprofessional I don't understand why he was mad I got my tounge pierced somewhere else as he is the one who told me he couldn't do it for me. He also tried saying I was rude to my mother when the only sentence I had said to my mother in that situation was "it's fine we will just book it somewhere else" when i asked him how i was rude he said i had a rude attitude honestly he seems very insecure as pervious to this he would talk bad about other piercings I had gotten from other places and talk bad about the piercer themselves all in all I wouldn't recommend yakuza.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to get a piercing or a tattoo I cannot recommend Yakuza enough. I have been going here for years and never once have I had even a slightly negative experience, I've had 9 piercings and 3 tattoos here and each and every time I've walked out happy. I've gotten all of my piercings from Max and he is always an absolute pleasure, I'm quite picky with jewelry where I will only wear black and he always accommodates and even remembers that every time I get a piercing and in general is just a super super nice guy. I've gotten my tattoos from Laura and Nick, I cannot say a bad word about the work I've gotten done, both are incredibly talented and incredibly pleasant to deal with, even when I required a touch up on one piece they were so incredibly accommodating, they both make you feel so welcome and relaxed and will talk you through the entire process in detail, before, during and after getting your tattoo and yet again are just super nice people. I will absolutely be coming back to Yakuza for all of my future piercings and tattoos, wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. TL:DR : don't go anywhere else, 10/10 service here.

Fantastic experience: I booked an appointment for a tattoo with Ola and I was delighted with the service. Ola was very professional and friendly from start to finish. I am thrilled with the tattoo itself it came out just like I had envisioned. I would recommend anyone to book in with Ola as I myself will definitely be going back to her in the future.

Negative experience: The most ignorant and rude members of staff in any place I’ve ever been to. Most definitely would not recommend. Disgusted by there service and degrading comments that were made whilst inquiring about a tattoo. Wouldn’t even rate it the one star.

When we asked if they did walk in service for piercings….the vibe was welcoming, professional, and fun — exactly what I was looking for with the girls ! Huge shoutout to Max who was not only incredibly friendly and thorough but also made the whole process stress-free for some of the girls who never had any piercings before! Fantastic experience: amazing service

Negative experience: I strongly advise against this piercing artist, he doesn't know how to do piercings. I already had a snake bite piercing and I took it off because I thought I was better off without it, but I came to them to get it pierced again, I know a lot about piercings because I've already had 40 of them. But the labret always rubbed against my gums, sometimes touching my teeth, but when I tried to eat I just couldn't because the labret was between my teeth, I had no choice but to either remove it or break my teeth, or just never eat again. When I came to them hoping to get it re-pierced they said they could only give me a 10 euro discount. If 40 euros is more important to them than their reputation, then you should think twice before going to them.

Fantastic experience: When I tell you don’t hesitate to stop here….. I had the best experience Max and Rex. Me and my best friend got piercing COULDN’T RECOMMEND MORE. Truly painless, Max is a no bs type of person and laid down what worked best for us better than laying down pavement. It’s been several weeks since I got my piercing and I haven’t had the first bit of discomfort compared to my other piercing experiences. Max really made sure we were satisfied with what the final result would be before putting the piercing. I’m from the US and would happily go back to Ireland just for their service.

Max was brilliant and really reassured me every step of the way and made the whole experience very relaxed and calm. Fantastic experience: I popped in today on an impulse to get an eyebrow piercing. I'm terrible with names but I think the lad was called Max, an absolute gentleman and extremely professional in what he does. I'm no stranger to tattoos and piercings but I'd say if you're nervous about getting your first ink or piercing done, or just want to talk about best option etc, these guys are great. Lovely staff and all easy to talk to. Cleanliness was superb and attention to detail was excellent. Will be back in the new year to get some more bits done.

Before we went to him her ear was very swollen and now, the next day the redness is completely gone and the swelling is nearly gone as well! He saved us a trip to a&e. We highly recommend going here. Fantastic experience: Max Maxwell (Max.pokes) has pierced 3/4 piercings for me & I’d highly recommend him. He has excellent client care. Both my daughters wanted their ears pierced for the first time & I trusted him completely with the task. I didn’t want them to get pierced with a gun after some research. Max was unbelievably patient & kind & descriptive to them about everything he was doing. One of my girls was extremely nervous & worked herself up a bit & he gave her loads of time & reassurance & I didn’t feel rushed today. The staff at reception and on the phone are also fab. It’s really clean & there’s a lovely atmosphere in there. Highly recommend!

Came back today to get my eyebrows done and he was nothing short of professional. Did his job, great conversation, made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Fantastic experience: Visited yakuzza with my husband and we were both treated so well. My husband was in for a walk in tattoo and I was allowed to hang out in the studio to wait. The studio is spotless clean to an impeccable standard. The staff were so kind and professional to all queries from customers and potential customers. My husbands tattoo turned out so good and we have max to thank for that. Of course my husband booked a second tattoo and was looked after by the talented Laura. Highly recommend going here for the customer service, talent and professionalism.

Negative experience: No regard in customer service and misleading information from both staff and manager when managing complaints or issues. Would never come back or recommend their services after my experience. I had another piercing salon have a look at my piercing and was told it was pierced too high.

Fantastic experience: Had my second lobe piercing with Max and I'm absolutely delighted with the whole experience. Clean, professional and honest. I previously had my lobes pierced using one of those contraptions the jewelers use - never again. Needle piercing all the way from now on. I'm going to get 4 more in my ears now. Excellent piercer.

Going into a business like this can be quite intimidating but you will be pleased to know you’ll be greeted with a friendly smile and helpful staff as soon as you walk through the door. I got a helix piercing from max.pokes last year and it healed wonderfully. I’m a real baby when it comes to pain and piercing but I got two more piercings today with indiepiercings she was absolutely wonderful and spoke me through the whole process. As well as another wonderful member of staff who helped me pick out new jewellery for my a helix piercing! Yakuza is the place to go!!

Positive experience: I am giving 3 stars because twice my ear lobe is after tearing after getting them done here, it has nothing to do with my earrings because they are light, it's all down to where they were pierced, who on earth pierces ear lobes on the very edge of the ear, knowing that no earring is ever going to stay there!! I do not recommend this place for piercings.

Fantastic experience: Got a last minute appointment to get a second ear piercing. The piercer was so kind, professional, patient, easy going. I felt very looked after. He made sure I got exactly what I wanted and I felt happy and confident leaving the chair. Pretty much no pain since, barely any swelling. Will definitely be coming back for more piercings and I'd recommend getting your piercings done here.
