Fantastic experience: Great place. I had a walk in on friday for 2 piercings at the piercer (jack i think) was really friendly and professional. We talked through the piercing and aftercare. Really happy with my piercing and they have healed really well. Will be returning ☺️

Fantastic experience: I have gone to two of the artists here, Jack did the honeybadger and script above each of my knees (booked for more soon) and Beano did the others (also booked for more soon) they are both extremely professional and kind. They are both incredibly amazing to bounce ideas off and they both genuinely seem to love tattooing and being around people (as do the other artists who are often curious and love seeing eachothers work). I enjoy finding ideas that interest them (as i have so so many ideas), working with each of them to find an idea we both love and will be really cool. The whole atmosphere at inksmiths, downstairs where the piercers that often greet me are kind, easy to talk to and upstairs with the tattoo artists is amazing, i feel so comfortable and really look forward to getting more. I highly recommend both Jack and Beano, the other artists I havent been to but are very nice, easy to talk to and i hope i can get some awesome art from them too eventually.

The staff are super friendly and made my daughter's first piercing a great experience, keeping her at ease and making sure not only me but she was happy with everything. The studio is kept to the highest of standards and is spotless. I will never go anywhere else and even though this was our first visit our first experience has sealed the deal this is my new go to tattoo studio.

Fantastic experience: Best tattoo studio in the area! Having been tattooed by Jack multiple times now, I wouldn't go anywhere else. He is always going above and beyond, creating amazing designs, and executing them perfectly. Jack and the whole team at Inksmiths are incredibly friendly, and always up for a laugh, never have I felt out of place, or like there was any ego from the artists (which can't be said for all studios). He has fostered a genuinely easy going environment, which makes even a long tattoo sitting go by quickly. Jacks tattoos have always exceed my expectations, and he keeps the process easy with plenty of good conversation and making sure you are comfortable throughout. The location is also super convenient to get to for those that dont drive, being right next to the train station and bus station. If you are looking for a professional, kind and fun tattoo artist (or artists) that properly care about their craft, then look no further.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rave about Inksmiths enough. Not only have I had an amazing tattoo experience with Brad, along with upcoming appointments with Jack for something more to his specialty - but I’ve had nothing but legendary treatment and experiences with Charlee for piercings. I’ve had conch, anti-tregus, tregus, mid helix, Bermuda lobe and lip piercing all carried out by her and she’s been excellent throughout every experience and aftercare. She’s gentle, thorough and explains everything step of each piercing and no matter how many piercings I’ve had prior she always ensures I understand what care the new piercing will need. Highly highly recommended for both ink and metal lol.

Fantastic experience: Jack and the gang have always been so welcoming and friendly whenever I have popped in, I have received multiple tattoos from them over the years and their piercers have always been very knowledgeable and provided great services too. All the staff are super friendly and always go out of their way to put you at ease and make sure you're happy with everything before they start their service. Nothing is ever too much for these guys. The studio is always kept to the highest of standards and is always spotless too. I would never go anywhere else, and they're always the ones I recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been tattooed at the ink smiths, pierced at the ink smiths and also have guested myself as a tattoo artist. The studios always welcoming and provides a clean safe environment for anyone who enters. Jack has made the space a unique, calming place to come and be tattooed/pierced. Fantastic experience: Its a clean, judgement free, safe and feel good environment to get beautiful pieces done - Jack did the shattered skull on my hand and my entire right arm (arm on right in pic) and Beano did the skulls and spines on the back of my neck

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to leave a review regarding not only the tattoo artists here but the piercers. I've had a beautiful delicate shoulder piece done by Jack, amazing quality, only tatt that's stayed as it was put on my skin, delicate and intricate fine line, Jack thank you! No one else can touch my skin now. Also to Jake, who did my husband's fat leg piece of a Pokémon tatt in the dead of winter in the freezing cold like a champ and that tatt still looks as fresh as the day it went on my husband's leg. Comments are made constantly about it, and my husband wants to book in for more hand tattoos (oh yeah, Jake did those too) and another project piece on his tatt free arm. I will not go anywhere else for skin art now, the lads at Inksmiths absolutely are the top of their game. Also wanna leave a shout out to both Charlee (who pierced my helix) and Ayden (who pierced my conch) for their honesty and humour. Charlee was very knowledgeable telling me to leave my helix alone for six months, come back for a size down in three months and she'll pop a ring in when my six months are due. She was very calm, collected told me to breathe in a s out with her needle and helped me with some aftercare. Ayden was humourous, and put me at ease re-piercing scar tissue from a previous piercing hole which had closed. Bled all over him (his gloves not his skin!) and he cleaned me up, and fitting some funky gothic jewellery for me. Told me to come in for resizing and told me as well to leave my helix alone because it was getting a irritation bump he'd noticed. He also sold me some new septum jewellery after I lost my ballbearing from my original. Both Charlee and Ayden make it very clear they are both new to piercing, hence why their prices are what they are. They can't be beaten on jewellery selection and I've never had a issue.

Fantastic experience: Ayden the piercer at inksmiths was super friendly. He made us feel very welcomed with his fun yet polite and professional manner. You could tell he takes great pride in his work. I had both my nipples done by him and a friend had her belly button pierced. Would highly recommend going to see him. Nearly two months later and all piercings are healed nicely. His aftercare information was spot on. Ill 100% be retuning for him to do more body modifications on me. 10/10 Five starts Go see this legend

Negative experience: Got my labret pierced here and within 8 hours it fell out. I then rang up the next morning when they opened and the guy basically told me it’s normal and he can’t do anything about it. No apology, no nothing. Don’t recommend, waste of money.

Negative experience: Unfortunately had an unpleasant experience, my snakebites piercing was pierced wonky by the lady. Also when i came in with my boyfriend we said that he wanted a septum piercing like my gage (16g), a man looked at my piercing and said he wants a 8g. We were unfortunately uneducated at the time and piercing studio did not educate about gages etc. We were obviously confused. Turns out, my boyfriend wasn’t even pierced with an 8g and a different piercer confirmed it was 14g. Again, another incident (in the same week after i got them done) was that my ball came off my snakebites piercing and i lost my jewellery, i rushed to the studio for a replacement and the man said “16g” out loud and put in a (different piercer confirmed) 14g in one of my piercings (only one fell out) and continued to lie to me saying the ball was “big”. The studio is clean and they have good jewellery but it was incredibly unprofessional. I have evidence for all of this, i am pierced quite wonky and a different piercer confirmed that the non wonky snakebite is also pierced at an angle. It’s very upsetting and not okay as i payed for this service, i do not want this happening to people. The vibe was also quite depressing, though communication online was alright.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 cannot give a better review. Been visiting for years and had many tattoos from multiple artists. Jack being my top artist who's done majority of my work. Very friendly and accommodating. Would not go anywhere else, the artwork is on another level.

Fantastic experience: I went to inksmiths for my first tattoo in july i had a fella called beano, his a top man he sorted me out with what i wanted and adapted it to make it better im from London definitely will be coming back in the new year 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: This year, Jack has done some very special pieces for me — a portrait of my beloved dog, who passed away last year, and a barn owl for my grandad, whom I sadly lost this year. Not only did he create the most beautiful artwork for me, but he also treated me with such kindness and respect. Jack is so talented and continues to amaze me with every tattoo we do together. Inksmiths is so welcoming and friendly; I can’t recommend them enough. Especially if it’s your first tattoo, they’ll put you at ease. Such a lovely bunch of people, as well as amazing artists!

Fantastic experience: I had some really awful tattoos done by another person that were affecting me quite badly, I contacted Inksmiths to see if anyone thought they could fix it, everyone was so friendly and helpful and they got me booked in so quickly. Jack did an incredible job with what I thought was an impossible task and honestly above everything else really helped me feel comfortable in my own skin again. Couldn’t thank him enough! ‍⬛

Positive experience: I had some piercing changes done. Both piercers were great at dealing with some very fiddly piercings. However, my welcome to the shop wasn’t very friendly and the interaction wasn’t very friendly either. Bit disappointing as this adds to the overall experience of a shop and makes a customer feel comfortable. Cannot fault the actual piercing service though.

Fantastic experience: Charlee is such a lovely piercer, helped me decide what I wanted and it was so much smoother and faster than any I've had before, didn't flinch! Will definitely come back and couldn't recommend her more they have really nice jewellery, too, mine has a pretty moon from the getgo instead of the typical ball

Negative experience: I finished work on a Saturday and headed over as soon as I could as I needed a stud for my new nose piercing as the old one had fallen out. I understand that I came late on a Saturday as they we’re likely closing up but I had no other option however, I still arrived an hour before the closing time that is stated online and on the windows of the business. I tried to walk into But the front door is locked and there was someone sat on the sofa who I tried to ask for help for just a nose ring and they just shrugged their shoulders and told me they were closed. Found it quite rude and disappointing that they couldn’t help me Buy a little old nose ring, even though the shop should be open.

Fantastic experience: Great experience today.My daughter had a lip piercing done and all staff we met were really friendly. The lady who did the piercing was gentle and explained everything to myself and my daughter.We didn’t feel rushed,we were able to take as long as we needed as my daughter felt a bit dizzy.She was offered a sweet to help with her blood sugar which was really thoughtful and caring. All aftercare was explained well. I would definitely recommend.

I’ve had 6 tattoos done by Jack and they always look super clean and heal really well. Fantastic experience: Had my first day session with Jack today and my god am I happy with it! From the get go all the staff were super welcoming and friendly and the studio was clean and presentable. During the whole session Jack was chill but professional, kept making sure I was ok and made small talk to keep me distracted while getting a rough tattoo (neck, throat and sternum). The attention to detail was incredible and nothing was too much of a bother! Would definitely go back there for another tattoo!

Susie is an incredibly educated & thoughtful piercer who makes sure you’re comfortable in the studio & happy with your piercing. She provides everything you would need to know about healing your piercing as well as sells piercing aftercare solution if you need it. So far, I’ve only been tattooed by Brad here, and he has always been very kind & mindful throughout the tattoo process. His tattoos have been my easiest healing tattoos as well, so highly recommend.

He’s been an absolute joy to have been tattooed by over the years and it’s been a pleasure to showcase his artwork and see how he’s grown into his own style. The Inksmiths is a professional studio that has come into its own under his ownership. The other lads that work there (Jake, Brad and Xavier) also maintain the highest levels of professionalism and have their own unique styles which brings a diversity to the shop. All of them produce high quality work and take the time to ensure you’re comfortable and are completely happy with design from start to finish. There is a plethora of experience across all the artists. Susie’s an amazing piercer who only handles high grade jewellery and maintains a clinical environment in her room. She’s as gentle as she can be and talks you through the whole process. All in all a shop worth going to for whatever you need.

Negative experience: Bad customer service, bad attitude, if you are new to tattoos just don't expect any patients.

Negative experience: Awful experience here today, after not being made aware I would need my daughters birth certificate for an ear piercing we were refused service, however this wasn't my issue, people are humans and make mistake and forget things, what was my issue was the awful attitude and lack of any compassion or empathy towards my nine year old child crying her eyes out, after simply saying I was never told I would need it. all it would have taken was a I'm so sorry, my mistake we will have to reschedule and that would have been fine, not a problem, however after I very calmly explained I wasn't told, have driven a fair way to get here I was met with a horrendous attitude from susie, told there's no need to be mad (repeatedly) when I was speaking calmly, no apology or even a remote hint of any kind of customer service or empathy towards a very upset child. Absolutely would not recommend taking your child here for ear piercing

Fantastic experience: I travel twice a year from Ireland to get pierced by Susie. She's the most gentle piercer I've ever been to. I had my nipple and flat done by her and went back for my anti-tragus and nostril this year. There's genuinely no other piercer I'll go to, I used to be terrified of piercings but I barely feel them when Susie does them. I had a tattoo there also in January and it was a really brilliant experience. Everyone is easy to get on with and understanding! If you're on the fence, know you're in good hands here.

Although I have not had the pleasure of going with any of the other artists who work there seeing their artwork done on others whilst I’m there has always looked good. Fantastic experience: Jack is one of my closest friends from Uni, so he knows I mean this… I wouldn’t travel all the way down the country if I thought he was bad at what he does. Despite this being the first time he’s tattoo’d both my wife and I, I already knew he was brilliant! I’ve seen so much of his fantastic artwork over the many years I’ve known him, so when he moved into the tattoo business, I knew I wanted him to tattoo me. Finally, we mad it happen, and dammmm… was it worth? Absolutely! I gave Jack a loose theme of Jamaica and cocktails and he come back with these stunning tattoo’s that together create a bigger picture but are also stunning on their own too. The hummingbird representing Jamaica as a national animal and their colours, and the beautiful cocktails are even better than I imagined. I simply could not recommend Jack and everyone at The Inksmiths enough… whether it’s your first tattoo or your 20th, these lot are the best.

Fantastic experience: Being my first Tattoo I wasn't sure what to expect from the experience and I'm happy to say The inksmiths made me feel really welcome. Brad did matching tattoos for me my sisters and mum and he did an amazing job, much as they were only small tattoos were so happy with the results. Brads a proper down to earth chap with a great sense of humour but also a true professional at the same time.

Negative experience: My friend and I came in for a nipple piercing. After seeking advice from two separate piercing professionals at different locations we were strongly advised to immediately remove the piercings due to how incorrectly they were done. Both piercings were uneven, had an incorrect placement, and were entirely different from what we had envisioned. we did contact the piercer and she was understanding. However, we have been extremely negatively affected by this experience. do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a tragus piercing with Susie last Friday, brilliant, hardly felt a thing and no problems since, healing very well. I'd highly recommend her, she's very knowledgeable, efficient and we had a good laugh as well. The premises are very clean and friendly and some of the video's of the tattoos looked incredible. A talented bunch of artists.

Fantastic experience: Had a tattoo by jack the other day and can’t speak highly enough of the whole experience. He took my drawing and turned it into my dream tattoo. He is genuinely interested in the healing and keeps in touch after to make sure it’s all ok. Can’t ask for much better really.

Negative experience: Can't give a true review as they are hopeless. I've emailed them and rung them left my details for them to get back to me , but they have totally ignored me. I appreciate that they are busy but dnt leave messages to say " leave your contact details, and we will get back to you " if they have no intention of doing so
