Elixir Ink Tattoo & Piercing Studio

Fantastic experience: Had not just my first tattoo done here but also my second tattoo done here in the space of 3 weeks! I can honestly say that the team were very welcoming and very accommodating to what you needed, the first time I went here I was greeted by Alex who shook my hand and welcomed me to the establishment and we got talking about what it was that I wanted doing, he showed me the before and after photos of what he tweaked and it was absolutely perfect! And it came out looking stunning! The second time I came was yesterday and it was to get a sentimental piece done with my sister and my mother, we all got different but similar tattoos and honestly we were all shocked by his skills and will be definitely coming back! The whole team were friendly and it felt like you walk into a big family! Everyone talking to each other and even the customers having good conversations with one another. Overall this place is amazing and I am so happy that I got my tattoos done here, 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: Would be 0 stars if possible, very unprofessional and no accountability taken. My sister went to get a piercing change, both her original piercing and her new piercing were gold with small stones, very delicate, the lady Suki broke both the old and new, and when addressing that she had broken them, she says “well that’s your opinion” (where is the logic?). If you know it is delicate, you should have patience and handle it more gently. After asking for compensation they refused and we went home very upset that not just one but two gold piercing were broken and unusable. Ridiculous, don’t recommend!

Negative experience: Don’t recommend for a piercing change , broke both of my jewellery , by this woman , she is horrible

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for my piercings for some time now. Suki is lovely and so accommodating for people with additional needs. I got my spider bites and a second nose piercing today and Suki made sure everything was where I wanted it. She talks you through everything and makes sure you’re happy with the placement. Great atmosphere and really friendly guys. Can’t wait to go back for more and I’ll be getting a tattoo soon as well. Thank you elixir ink! See you soon!

Fantastic experience: i came to elixr 2 days ago for my tongue piercing and the lady who pierced my tongue was amazing with me she talked me through all the after care and what she was doing when it was happening she made me feel reassured and calm through the whole process. i went to the studio for my septum piercing last year and i had no issues with the piercing then, and i was given all the aftercare sheets and talked through my piercing. i can’t fault them one bit and always do a amazing job!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place for piercings I have had my tongue done there and one of my friends has had her septum and tongue done there and the piercer was amazing with us both very kind reassuring and made sure we were okay before and after our piercings I HIGHLY recommend going to Elixr for any piercings!!!!!

Negative experience: I came in to have my tongue pierced. I felt nervous and sort of unwelcome right off the bat. The lady who did the piercing went through the after care process with me and sanitised everything thoroughly. However she said she was going to look at my tongue but then clamped and pierced it with no warning. She then proceeded to stand back and say she wasn't happy with how she pierced it and took the needle out. Without asking me whether I wanted her to, she re-pierced it. I didn't have a chance to respond when she clamped it again and got a new needle. She then pierced it again and put the jewellery in. My whole tongue, lips and chin were covered in blood and I was in a lot of pain. She said some final after care bits before I left. She did not apologise, didn't give me water or anything and the whole thing was really an awful experience.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here since I was 19 every piece I’ve gotten has been done with care, precision and perfection. Been back in the last two months for a few pieces and I’m completely over the moon with what Abi has done for me and my friend! I cannot wait to get back in and complete a piece I’ve needed to complete for years! The staff are all incredibly friendly the owners are great. They are all so hospitable and friendly never feels like just a service always feels welcoming and homely. It’s that only shop I will go to just for how much I feel welcomed there and their great work. Reccomend highly.

Despite still being early in her career, she demonstrated remarkable skill, attention to detail, and professionalism throughout the entire process. Everyone in the studio is so friendly and welcoming and I have to stress that Abigail’s work is incredible. She put so much detail and time into my tattoo to make it exactly as I had always dreamed! Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Elixir Ink for a number of years now and have had numerous services: nose piercings, semi-permanent makeup and countless tattoos. There is a reason I keep coming back - this establishment is fantastic! Suki, Jim and all of the other artists and staff truly know their stuff and are very professional and honest. I love that the environment and staff are relaxed, there are no pretenses or airs and graces - what you see is what you get. And what you get is a first class service with years of industry experience and knowledge. The studio is spotless and I know that they’re extremely strict about following health and safety guidelines. I have NEVER once had an issue with any of the services I have received, and I’ve had plenty of varied ones. When receiving piercings, the area is clean and sterile. The whole process is explained in detail. The staff are supportive and will provide you with thorough aftercare and support - they will even do a free jewellery change for you after the piercing has healed. With the SPMU, I’ve had my brows done twice now and each time has been a positive experience. They take their time perfecting the colours, shapes and lines and will respect what I want done, there is no pressure. Again, the whole process is explained in detail and the area is very clean and sterile. When getting tattoos, I have received countless from different artists (Emily, Abigail, Alex and Brandon to name a few) and each time they have been spot on. I’m not rushed, I’m reassured and I’m given thorough instructions and aftercare advice each time. Again, their work areas are very clean and sterile. Each artist has their own style but they are all very professional and friendly. I have recommended many friends to come here and they all say the same as myself. 100% recommend coming here if you want a professional, clean and relaxed environment and experience!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had a tattoo with abigal and her work is absolutely outstanding she was a lovely girl and I am so happy with my piece she done i would highly recommend her to anyone. Not only was I impressed with abigal but the staff there was so friendly always offering tea and biscuits and making conversations throughout the whole day I was there they are so friendly and welcoming and if anyone has any tattoos they are considering then I highly recommended you take a look at there FB page it was lovely and clean in there and I am so happy I choose to have my tattoos with these guys I am definitely going back soon if I could rate higher then a 5* I would im happy from the work I had to the friendless and welcoming that was shown. Negative experience: I can’t judge for the tattoos. But if you want a piercing done properly DONT COME THERE ! I went to redo my septum pierced. I had it but removed it years ago because my baby was getting too grabby. First I went and their price are not what they put online. It’s 5£ more. It’s not the big issue. The main issue was they did the piercing and it was too low. I check online and I had it review by an other piercer that told me it was. I called them and they told me I should have told them I wanted it higher. They don’t pay attention to your anatomy and blame me for them doing it too wrong. It’s not like I’m being a shirt that’s too small. Once it’s done it’s done. I went back the next day, stressed out thinking if they tell me the first attempt was fine, how can I trust them to do it right the second time. I went back and that time it is too high, just under the fold of the nose.. I think as a professional piercer they should know what they are doing. But I think the worse is not that they made a mistake. It’s the fact that they treated me like it was my fault. I thought how can they do it wrong as they only needed to check where the old scar was. Now I went to an other piercer and told me I would need to wait two months to heal so they can do it a third time. The « sweet spot » is between their two misérables attends and my nose needs to heal. This time I plan to not remove the piercing again and id rather have it done right.

Studio was busy which is always a good sign and everyone was friendly and chatty. I witnessed the receptionist giving tailored explanations to a couple who couldn’t grasp the consent forms. Negative experience: i had my navel pierced here. it was pierced correctly but i was given entirely the wrong type of jewellery. the bar was enormous and far too long, so the piercing became severely irritated and would not heal. i went back for advice and was just told to keep cleaning it. i had to go to another piercer to get it changed

Negative experience: i have been visiting this salon since 2022. the prices have skyrocketed terribly, the communication via messages from the masters is terrible. i pierced my tongue - they left me with a crooked piercing and a terrible scar, the man who pierced smelled terrible of cigarettes and did his job poorly. i decided to give this place another chance and the other day i pierced my belly button, the woman who pierced me did everything in a hurry, without asking if we liked it, she pierced my belly button crookedly, without even warning when she would stick the needle in. at the reception when i asked about after care they told me to literally do nothing with my piercings, only use water to sanitise, which is complete nonsense, even a person who isn’t a piercer understand this and knows more than your masters. disgusting service, rude staff, they constantly rush you and literally cheat you out of money. in messages i discussed the price of piercing “Industrial”, they told me it would be £25, upon arrival they set the price at £50, explaining it as it is two holes piercing, although it's one whole puncture! an awful place, don't go there if you don't want crooked punctures, scars and infections.

I have social anxiety and not good in public but the whole process was so smooth and I didn't feel anxious at all, all the staff there are so lovely and friendly. Fantastic experience: Newly pierced nose stud came of in the morning, was in a dilemma as I had to go to work and was afraid its gonna heal by then. Called up this place and they told me to come in. As soon as I went in they were super friendly and nice to me. Put my stud back and didn’t even charged me for it as some places do. I got my fingers tattooed by Tayla, she's friendly and helpful, made the process feel like a fun experience. Fantastic experience: Had my daughters Helix pierced here and it was a perfect experience Popped in. Filled the forms Off upstairs and boom pierced The chap who did it wad very friendly and patient with my daughter even when she had a vaso attack after bless her, he helped lie her down and raise her legs and gave her a cold wet towel for her head . Since this we have returned a couple of times for assistance with changing the piercing and also for a lost ball lol and each time they have responded super quick on messenger and have accommodated us with zero hassle and always friendly and chatty and happy to help us Highly recommend The guy on the front desk is super nice and friendly so made us feel welcome Thanks team you really are a wonderful studio

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! They are really friendly and very helpful. I changed (tried to) my Tragus and was really struggling to put the new one in so I put a ring on it and within a week it was all swollen. The owner changed it for me and put in a titanium bar and the pain stopped straight away. These guys are genuine and I would like to say thank you very much.

My partner also had a piercing, which you don't need a prior appointment for, whilst I was having my tattoo. Again the piercing was done in a very hygienic and friendly manner. Fantastic experience: My partner and I recently visited Elixir and both had a tattoo done by the very talented & lovely Tayla. She listened to what we wanted, created the template with the exact font/design we had in mind and made sure we were fully happy with the placement before beginning her work. The tattoos are flawless and happy to say it was a comfortable sit, we’re both very happy. A clean, modern studio with really nice vibe upon walking in and super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Full disclaimer forms to sign pre tattoo and full after care sheet for when it’s finished. Would defo recommend this place and will be visiting again in the future.

Positive experience: I absolutely love the tattoos I got here and the artist that I worked with, and that's the reason it gets any stars at all. I would not recommend this place to be honest. I found the atmosphere uncomfortable, found many of the staff to be unprofessional and rude. I personally think that you shouldn't bad mouth clients in front of other clients. My session was repeatedly interrupted by walkins, and as a client who had booked an appointment this was very frustrating and unprofessional. Again, I am extremely happy with the tattoos I got, and I'm even more happy that the artist has moved to a different studio so that I no longer have to go to this shop.

Fantastic experience: I came here to get my daughters ears pierced - they were so lovely and accommodating. Even though I arrived near to the closing time, he was still able to pierce her ears and was very happy doing so without a fuss. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: The ambience in the parlour was very nice, almost felt like I was in a movie! The team was very friendly, giving family vibes which is reassuring when you want a piercing or tattoo! Anyway, I went with my sister to support her with a piercing removal (she had it done somewhere else prior but it was giving her trouble). The team here were kind enough to help her out and did it for free! They did a good job of calming her down and it was all over before she knew it. I highly recommend them. Fantastic experience: Contact this shop regards a tattoo, was easy to book an appointment. On the day the artist was very pleasing and did a great job. Tea was on constant supply!!!

Negative experience: The experience was awful, my tattoo artist was lovely, Sammy, this is no complaint against her! She was just starting my tattoo and the manager came up and stopped her to pierce two girls. I had to go wait down stairs mid tattoo, the manager wasn’t nice at all about the situation, joking around with me like he knew me. He’d rather take the money then think about the clients who has already paid! Do not recommend. Sammy’s talent are wasted there!

Fantastic experience: Had my nose pierced today and my lip bar changed. Can’t recommend enough. Very friendly and professional. Will be back

Negative experience: I had a tattoo by one of there tattooist who left not long after, my tattoo needed fixing as the shading on the clouds was upside down so I was told that would be for free (£250 later) to fix the tattoo on my chest they just extended it. A few months later I had another tattoo on left arm which was just filling in gaps with solid black and shading in some rose’s, the solid black needed touching up after it healed so I called them up and said it needs fixing, I was told it would probably be around £300. Never again will I step in there for a tattoo
