I was recommended by my partner to come here for my first proper tattoo after he had an amazing experience with Chez ( ccherry.ink on instagram ) and I am so glad I did. She was absolutely amazing!! I was super nervous about this tattoo because it’s quite big and I already knew it was going to be pretty painful ( I stupidly said no to numbing ) but everyone I spoke to helped me out so much. Literally all of the staff were so supportive and gave me a massive confidence boost, they are all so friendly and the atmosphere is honestly insane, this was my first time there but it felt like I’d been there a million times. If you’re thinking about coming here, I wouldn’t think twice, especially if you’re booking with Chez! She is insanely talented and it really shows in the work she does, I fell in love with my designs the second she sent them through and it looks even more stunning than I could have imagined. It genuinely felt like every time someone walked past they had nothing but amazing things to say and it’s been like that every day since!! All of the aftercare information was so clear and so far the healing process has been a breeze. I’d definitely recommend the tattoo balm they sell as well, I’ve tried a lot of products on previous smaller tattoos and it’s by far one of the best! I honestly have nothing but positive things to say, the shop is super clean, I felt so welcome, and will 100% be going back soon for more!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a nose piercing on Saturday 25th and I was a little unlucky in that the tiny little ball came off the jewellery used for the piercing while I was at work. One of the front desk staff made an appointment for me on Wednesday morning, apparently unaware that the lady I saw on Saturday didn’t work Wednesday’s - really not brilliant but the very kind young lady on the desk when I went in today did contact one of the other piercing team who attended and changed it for a bit of jewellery MUCH more suitable for me. Overall, despite the hiccup, I’ve been really impressed with the care and after care shown by the team at Clin ink 77 and would still unhesitatingly recommend them if you’re looking to get a piercing. Well done team!

Fantastic experience: **Tattoo Magic by Madelin!** I just had a tattoo cover-up done today and WOW — I’m still staring at it like it’s a plot twist I didn’t see coming! Madelin is not just a tattoo artist, she’s a wizard with ink. What was once a regret is now a masterpiece, and I couldn’t be happier! From the moment I walked in, Madelin made me feel like I was about to be part of something epic — and she delivered. Her creativity, precision, and chill vibes turned the whole experience into a mini adventure. She listened, she advised, and then she worked her magic like it was no big deal (spoiler: it was a VERY big deal). If you’re thinking about a cover-up, a new piece, or just want to be tattooed by someone who’s basically the Beyoncé of body art — Madelin is your person. 10/10 would get inked again!

Fantastic experience: I’ve always wanted a tattoo in dedication to my children and the one I sadly lost. I had a few designs in mind. I had a tattoo that I wanted to cover up. I was young and reckless haha although it wasn’t a bad tattoo I wasn’t happy with its . After all the pregnancies I was finally able to get IN. Messaged ink collective and they were quick to respond, friendly and welcoming. Met with Mads and started following her. So impressed with her work. Popped in in June and my appointment wasn’t until October . Deep down I wanted it then and there but, if she couldn’t fit me in until October . There must of been reason! After seeing all of her designs it got me excited. I gave her a brief of what I wanted and said she could have creative design as long as it incorporated what I wanted. A week before my app, she sent me design , I fell in love with it. With a few tweaks we got the finalised design. On the day of the app , it was so chill. She made me feel comfortable immediately, this was my first tattoo in 13 years and I was anxious. She explained what she was going to do and what products she was using. Asked the important questions. I felt so comfortable immediately. I had my phone ready to just play music and watch a show but, she wasn’t like a tattoo artist I had before , we spoke the whole time that I didn’t need my phone at all. She kept checking in on me throughout the session and explained what area she was working on next. Honestly the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had . I’ve finally found my tattoo artist and can’t wait to go back for my next one. Can’t fault the service, or design or experience. I’m in love with my tattoo and can’t wait to add to it! Fantastic experience: I've had multiple piercings and tattoo's done at this studio over the years under a few different owners and this was by far my best experience, not only has all the recent work made the studio feel more roomy and comfortable as well as a work of art itself but I sat a half day with Cherry on Friday and it was one of the best experiences I've had getting tattooed, she was so lovely and really took the time to communicate and work on what I wanted to achieve even before my booking. I absolutely adore my tattoo's and the whole process was really chilled, with great vibes and I was even offered a delicious bite to eat and a coffee from the local coffee house whilst there. Everyone was so friendly and easy to chat to, I felt like my session just flew by, 10/10 over all and will definitely be returning for future work and recommending to everyone. I also decided to get my nipples re-pierced whilst there after my session had ended, I regret to say I didn't catch the piercers name, but he was equally as lovely and friendly and made the whole process a comfortable breeze, unlike other piercers I've encountered in the past, especially when piercing such a delicate place. Another 10/10 experience and will be returning as well recommending to everyone.

Negative experience: Service was Horrible Online it said it closes at 6pm, I wanted to enquire about piercing my helix so u came in at 4pm only for me to get to the door and the woman is holding the handle of the door? You would assume as soon as she sees a customer she would let go of the door or at least open the door instead she continues to hold the door so I say hello through the closed door, and then she opens the door and her colleague rushes to the front without letting me in and says what do you want? No hello or greetings after all i do intend to be a customer. I went ahead and told them what I wanted only for the man to inform me the piercer has gone home for the day. Which I am not upset about, what i am upset about is the non existent level of customer service, there was no bye just looks, i took my leave. My advice go somewhere else especially if you are a black person the disrespect is not worth it.

Despite feeling nauseous after my first one it soon faded as he came to my aid, he seems an expert in handling these experiences so if you are at all nervous, don't be! His services were so reasonably priced for the service provided and I will definately be back for more!

Fantastic experience: Best tattoo experience!! I texted the team to ask some questions for my aunts first tattoo and they seemed really helpful and genuine which was a good first impression. As soon as I got in the store everyone was so caring, nice and eager to assist our questions. They even offered us beverages as soon as we got in and the place looked really calming and extremely clean. Fantastic experience: Madelin_ink is an absolute legend, currently doing my sleeve and it just gets better as we go. Highly recommend her.

Negative experience: I originally came here wanting a vertical labret. After speaking to the piercer Eli, and being told my lip anatomy would cause a 40% rejection rate instead of the normal 5%, I went with a conch piercing instead.. that went ok, but.. it’s just that I’ve asked advice from friends, Reddit and my tattooist and they all said it’s bull. In fact I’m sat here with my vertical labret I got done from Arcade Eight Piercing and I have no issues whatsoever. I went in and told them my last piercer told me I didn’t have the anatomy and they said it’s bull.. so I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re wanting real and good advice on a facial piercing Edit: the more I learn about professional piercing the more I realise how bad this place is, as a crucial step is to eventually downsize your jewellery bar. This was never mentioned at all here, which is crazy! Jewellery that is too long will get caught, snagged, irritated and cause ear trauma. Whilst longer jewellery is recommended during the first 6/12 weeks to allow room for swelling, long term it gets in the way of successful healing. After expressing that my only other piercing experience was at CLAIRES at that time, I was hoping to actually be informed because it’s a shop specialising in piercings but this is why doing your own research thoroughly is so important too. Arcade Eight not only took the time to inform me about how to properly take of my piercing but also about the safety of downsizing, even offering free downsizing once it was deemed appropriate. Do not get pierced here, or at Claire’s. Avoid !!!

This was my first time ever getting a tattoo so I went with a small design. The tatoo artist Cher was absolutely amazing. She yapped away with me the whole time to make sure I was distracted from the needle itself. The tattoo went by smoothly and at an amazing price too. I would recommend to everyone this place.
