Fantastic experience: Just had a multi application of detailed small, all different tattoos on my arm by the lovely LOTTIE. The detail, the communication, the result are fantastic, so happy with it. Wouldn't hesitate in using Lottie again and again. Only small gripe was, it would have been nice to be offered a drink for such a long session for a bit of sugar !. Good banter between chairs and staff. Took less time than quoted so cost less than i expected. Thank you Vivid, Lottie is highly recommended from the artwork I've had, and I'll see you soon.. Fantastic experience: I went into vivid ink today for a tattoo and from start to finish it was amazing. I had Elle, who may I add, was the nicest soul. You could tell through out the whole process, it's not just about the tattoo. It's the before, making you feel at ease and reassuring you. It's the during, talking me through what technique she's doing and why, asking how I was. The after, making sure I knew what creams and body washes were best. My tattoo had a lot of sentiment and Elle got it, she really understood what I was trying to achieve. I highly recommend Vivid ink and the amazing Elle :)

First of all I am so impressed by how talented she is, from the first time I popped in to discuss my ideas, the team at stafford were more than helpful with getting my design perfect, even on the day I slightly tweaked it and this was no problem. I will be back for another one in the future, Thanks SO much!

Negative experience: Was good when I started going. For some reason the company have started to pack artists and beds into the smallest of spaces. The poor original artists that were there have no room to move and I’m sure feel closed in on. Not the type of environment they need to be working on with the amount of concentration needed. I personally felt there were too many artists in the one area 4/5, just up from the main reception. Every time I needed to get up from laying on my front I would need to spin round to see if I was going to kick anybody when I stood up. Staff smoke and vape right by the front door which ironically had a sign saying no smoking! So you get the smell of a mix between someone’s chemical induced Vapor and second hand benson and hedges, making you feel as if you are down your local on a Thursday night with the peculiar regulars playing darts. Not the vibe you need. Paying cash isn’t always ideal. Not sure why they can take card payment for a deposit but not for final payments. I’m all for keeping cash alive but you need to be realistic on this.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 portraits done , 1 on each forearm , by Mike , has done a fabulous job , the whole team were excellent from the first meeting to the finished tattoo , and even at 59 , I will be going back for more , so thank you

Then I met the Amazing and Loveliest Jen who only new that I had Booked in for a Robin standing on a Branch with the word Dad under it. Jen done be So Proud, she is Truly an Amazing Talented young Lady. Jen made me feel so Calm, because she was so Gentle Not Heavy Handy. I felt so safe and secure and I cannot Thank Her enough This Tattoo means more than anyone would know. Negative experience: Staff here were very helpful and friendly so can’t fault them there. Vivid ink had a really cool vibe and I was made to feel welcome in arrival. Lovely lady on the reception. I had booked the appointment a week in advance and paid a £10 deposit. I looked forward to my appointment for a week and arranged childcare for the appointment. It was booked for 3 o’clock and I waited for half an hour to be told that I was not going to be able to have my piercing because I had said I was going on holiday in 3 weeks time on my form. The piercer said that I would be going in a pool so she couldn’t pierce me, I said I was not going to be going in the pool and then she said, I would be going in a plane (flight is 50 minutes) so she wouldn't do it. I said I knew it would be fine as I’ve had many piercings over the years (I’m 40) and that I would take responsibility for my own piercing. She said that she wouldn’t feel comfortable doing the piercing and tried to go into more of an explanation. I was already late to pick up my children and explained that I had gone to a lot of effort to arrange all of this. She said sorry, but really, if this was to be the case, then it should have been addressed before I paid the deposit. A really big waste of time and very disappointing. Seemed a bit over the top and treating people as if they are stupid. Walked round the corner and got it done elsewhere. I want some tattoos but won’t be returning there, if you are going there, make sure you don’t have any holiday’s booked or if you do don’t mention it, apparently it is a big problem even if you’re not planning to swim and flight is less than your lunch hour!

Negative experience: I used to rate this company, but due to incompetency from staff, I’ve lost a full days wages, and they are REFUSING TO give me my 100 pound deposit I do NOT want to rebook, and they’re still refusing to give me my money back, absolutely shocking, can’t believe a company of this gratitude would steal from a hard working customer absolutely disgraceful, bare this in my guys soon as you send that 100 it’s gone regardless of the issues you face

Fantastic experience: Had piercings with Georgia. They were the most pain free piercings I have ever had. No pain after either. I love that they have you back for a check up too. Georgia was so knowledgeable and discussed what I should and shouldn't have done. She then showed where my piercings should go and then we decided together. Great experience and I will definitely be back for more.

Fantastic experience: I initially booked in to have my forward helix pierced. Upon looking at my ear Georgia advised that that area of my ear unfortunately, wasn't suitable for the piercing I wanted, and it would never heal properly. She explained this thoroughly to me and in great detail. I asked her to suggest an alternative location on my ear to be pierced. She was really informative and patient with me when going through all the options and jewellery available. She explained each step of the piercing and was really kind and friendly. She made me feel at ease and is clearly very passionate in what she does and proud of her work. I will definitely be back to see her for further piercings and would highly recommend!! Thank you❣️

Fantastic experience: I have gone to Vivid Ink Stafford 3 times now for beautiful tattoos! Had two done by the lovely Lottie, and my newest done by fabulous Jen- absolutely amazing service, quick & practically painless each time! (no pics of Jens work YET as just got it done) I’ve had amazing chats with both girls, and I feel like i’m really building a relationship with this branch. Fantastic experience: Came in to talk about my latest tattoo with Vicky a few weeks ago . Vicky was lovely and easy to talk to. So i was booked in with Raven . Today i have had my new Tattoo. Raven was so easy to talk to and listened to exactly what I wanted .I explained that my last tattoo was quite sore .very swollen for a while . So Raven took her time with me and I absolutely love my new Tattoo . Thankyou Raven and Thankyou Vividink team . I would nt go anywhere else nor would my Husband .

Negative experience: Really disappointed and amazed on how bad this whole experience was. My partner simply wanted a tattoo which we had a photo of, in short this was no problem on booking and taking our money, the outcome was nothing like what she wanted (see pic - left pic is what she wanted, right pic of what was produced). On complaint, we are told Vivid ink do not copy images, funny how this wasn't mentioned until after the very different tattoo was done.

Negative experience: I messaged vivid inks instagram earlier this year about an idea for a tattoo and was referred to Szymon. It was a simple line tattoo but was very clearly not in his preferred style. He told me I couldnt have it the size I initially wanted as I would lose detail- fair enough - but since getting a second tattoo elsewhere, its very clear that it could have been significantly smaller. It isnt great work, done with a thick needle although i asked for it to be fine line. You can see where the lines join and the proportions of the tattoo are very off. Part of the tattoo is a circle, and it is incredibly wonky. Im not happy with my experience here and I wouldnt go back - although I'm sure they would be ok for people using the artists own designs. I will say the price was reasonable, the majority of people there are very welcoming, and its a nice atmosphere in the shop.

Fantastic experience: I went just under a week ago to get a nose piercing. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and they answered all of my questions, leaving no details out. I have experienced no swelling and very little pain. They tell you, in detail, about what to expect before, during, and instructions for aftercare. I am only 16 so they let us know what my dad and I had to bring (ID etc) so that I was able to do it. There was a variety of jewellery to choose from and I found a small star stud that would allow me to wear it during school. I will definitely be back in the future :)

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this place enough. I went recently here, after looking for ages for somewhere for my 7th tattoo. Having had a really bad experience with my last 1. Mel did my tattoo. I gave her a description of what I wanted and she came up with a stunning design. I get people stop me in the street and comment on it. I have to talk about there customer service also. Amazing! The aftercare was amazing. I contacted them afterwards as I was worried about a rash I had. They gave me amazing advice. That help clear it straight up. Lovely team, amazing art work. Get booked in.

Fantastic experience: I was deciding where to get my first tattoo done and Vivid Ink was recommended to me by a friend, I sent them an email with lots of details and got a response from Soph whom explained everything to me and was most helpful. When I first turned up the ladies at the desk were most helpful, friendly and welcoming, querying the types of design I want, showing me the different kinds until I narrowed it down to what I wanted, the artist they recommended and paired me up to is who I can only describe as one as the most genuine, down to earth and nicest person I have ever met, Andy. He had a quick chat with me, checked out the location and made me feel very much at ease in proceeding. Roll on forward to the day of getting my first ever tattoo I was not nervous in the slightest, excited is definitely the word. As to not end up writing an entire novel I'll just finish by saying the experience was incredible, Andy is an absolutely top guy who does absolutely stellar work, I couldn't be happier with the end result and will definitely be requesting him for any future tattoos, hands down. Thank you Vivid Ink Staffford, Andy and all of the staff for making my first experience an incredible, exciting and memorable one.

Fantastic experience: I took a copy of the sonogram of my baby which had the baby’s heartbeat printed on it. I thought it was going to be a fortune because of the detail but they quoted me £60 and I paid the deposit and booked in. Luke did the design based off part of the picture I gave him and tattooed it onto my arm in amazing detail. He was very patient with me knowing I hate needles and all was done in an hour. Very happy and very impressed!! I’ll be back to have his name written underneath when he is born and the name is announced!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant venue if you want to get a high quality tattoos, piercings & other body art at a fair price! All the staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful, cheerful people who are also very professional. My Naruto sleeve is being crafted by the resident colour queen Raven, so if you want a colour tattoo I highly recommend her. Overall I would say if you want body art done in any way, these guys are the ones to go to!

Fantastic experience: Awesome artists' best tattoo parlour in Stafford. I've never seen anyone leave disappointed. They have several artists, male & female they all have their own style designs, yet they can all put their artistic flare to anything. Their hygiene is top-notch. They also do tattoo laser removal and piercings. Go along or phone & have a chat with them it will be well worth it.
