The tattoo itself is phenomenal; the detail, precision, and overall quality are amazing. You can tell Mateusz takes real pride in his work and it really shows in the final piece. From the initial enquiry with George through to the whole day of the appointment, the experience was fantastic. Everything was relaxed, professional, and really well organised. The heated blanket was also an absolute game-changer and made the session so much more comfortable. I originally sent over a simple reference image, and Mateusz transformed it into something I could never have imagined. Fantastic experience: I lost my boy in November 2025 and I wanted something really special to remember him by, I knew it had to be his portrait. a realistic portrait and after googling in Hereford skinzophrenic came up, after checking out their profile page on instagram and seeing Ellie’s work I knew I had to go there, after talking to them through instagram and setting up my appointment. I went to get my tattoo today I was feeling alittle nervous not due to the getting of the tattoo but because the piece means so much to me, Ellie was fantastic and put me at ease and she did the most incredible job! He looks truly amazing like my partner said just like his picture! I’m so excited to see it healed now, I’d 100% recommend Ellie and the studio!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely thrilled with my first tattoo at the age of 60. Ellie is so talented and managed to create the design I had in my head and more! It combines my two hobbies , aerial hoop and wild swimming with two little fairies to signify my twin daughters who aren’t quite so tiny these days and daffodils which not only grow wild where I swim but represent my Welsh heritage - Ellie was so thoughtful and easy to chat to , she even brought me a hot water bottle and heated blanket when I got a bit chilly. Fantastic experience: Contacted Skinzophrenic on a Thursday and got an almost immediate response. Booked in for the following week with a guest artist (Vlad) and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The studio is clean, welcoming and all the artists are super friendly. Vlad done a great job on a piece that you wouldn’t normally see on social media. He was happy to change little bits of the design to suit what I needed and smashed through the process without compromising any detail. Would 100% recommend Skinzophrenic for a tattoo and will be back should I wish to get another. Thank you!

Positive experience: Really lovely group of people, made me feel very welcome and the woman who did my tattoo (my first!) was wicked and did an amazing job. Only down side I would say is we started a long later than I was expecting and therefore finished a lot later, but I'm not sure whether that was down to the artist herself or something else. I would definitely go back for another!

Fantastic experience: Firstly I was impressed by the profesional Feel of the studio, the friendliness of all staff. I was introduced to Sophie who was to be my artist who listened to my requirements and who offered advice on design. Over the two days it took to complete my tattoo Sophie checked i was OK and ensured I didn't really require any breaks but asked regularly if I needed one. The quality of Sophies work exceeded my expectations and fulfilled all aspects of design I had asked for. I have all ready booked for another two days for another project I had in mind. Aftercare of the tattoo was fully explained and was given the oil to apply. I would fully recommend the skills of Sophie And the and the whole experience of Skinsophrenic Tattoos. Ellie designed my tattoo and then brought it to life, I’d asked for my dogs paw print with his face inside the print and she captured his character completely- when I saw the design I knew instantly it was him! The care she took to make sure everything was perfect was incredible, taking her time to make sure it was placed perfectly and not caring how long it took to do this to then making the design come to life on me. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t be happier with my tattoo by Sophie. She was amazing the whole time and the rest of the team were just as welcoming. A brilliant experience from start to finish and a beautiful and detailed piece for life❤️

Positive experience: Most of the tattoo is beautiful, but unfortunately the artist clearly started rushing at some point so the quality dropped massively in those areas. I had booked the entire day and we finished two hours early, so there was more than enough time to do it properly. When I brought up the errors, I was charged extra to get them fixed. These corrections were then also very clearly rushed, and due to the design some parts of it will probably not be possible to fix now. Part of the design was continuing an existing tattoo up my arm. The first picture is the tattoo I got here, the second is the previous tattoo it was supposed to be identical to. I understand different artists have different styles and may not be able to copy it exactly, but this was such a poor effort that I would have rather he just declined to try. The third picture is the section I had to pay to get added afterwards. It was always supposed to be part of the design, it was just missed in the original session. That section is only a few centimetres across and I had paid extra for another session for it, so having this rushed too is very disappointing. The spacing is massively off compared to everywhere else and there is a random line coming off. They offered to have another artist try to correct this after I originally posted the review. While he did manage to make parts look a lot better, they admitted there was nothing they could do to fix the worst part.

Fantastic experience: Had a booking with Mendez who was doing a guest week here from Portugal for a full day leg tattoo to represent celebrating my leg scar from a quadruple heart bypass operation 2 years ago to show my bad DNA failing to evolve into a phoenix emerging and to tracing the scar line as far as it could. Lovely chilled out space. The day was fantastic. I'd have thought it may have been improved by regular coffee for day session customers, cold drinks maybe fruit even and an after care kit would have been nice, leaflet cream etc in a nice box. That'd be a really nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my day here, very cool, very chilled lovely staff. Mendez was superb. Big long day for him but he never rushed or dropped his dedication to the tattoo as we finished an hour or so after the studio closed! It was an amazing experience for me being my first big tattoo from design stages to seeing it appear on my leg.

Was told by mates to download a movie/series to distract myself from boredom as it was a full day job, but everyone is easy to chat to, so no distractions were needed. Fantastic experience: I booked in very easily to have a tattoo of my beloved cats name who sadly passed away. Although it was a small tattoo Mateusz was really helpful with helping me choose the font I was looking for. He took time positioning it and making sure the size of lettering was right for me. I’m very happy with the result and would come again if I ever decided to get another tattoo.

Fantastic experience: I went to Skinzophrenic to have a faded tattoo re-inked and so far not disappointed. Some of the areas were too much for me to do in one session so Mateus advised that I book in to have it finished in a month and to use numbing cream. I was really desperate to get it finished but I listened to the expert and will get the last little bits done next month. The guys also advised on creams to use and gave me a full aftercare briefing. It's not hard to see why Skinzophrenic are the highest rated studio - communications were brilliant in the build up to my appointment, immaculately clean and hygienic, nothing is too much trouble, great sense of humour all round and a banging playlist to listen to! Fantastic experience: Had a tattoo done by Mateusz. Can't fault him or Skinzophrenic at all. Professional, friendly and passionate about what they do. Mateusz went to the trouble of printing my design in various sizes so that we could decide which size was best to keep the definition within the design. He checked that I was ok on several occasions as it was my first tattoo. I'm sure it won't be my last!

Fantastic experience: The organisation was smooth and the whole vibe was very welcoming, the studio was professional, I never felt awkward, and the atmosphere between the artists and customers made me feel completely comfortable. The manager, George, was very laid back and friendly. My artist Irina designed an amazing piece and chatted with me before the session to make sure I was happy with it. I was totally at ease the entire time( around 7 hours) and we took frequent breaks to manage discomfort and eat/use the bathroom. I never felt rushed in the slightest, and the discomfort was negligible. The tattoo itself is so much better than I'd hoped - the lines and details are so clean I couldn't be happier with it. I was given full, easy to understand aftercare instructions and told I could return to have any retouches required after it's healed. I can't thank everyone enough, 100% recommended, my first tattoo at Skinzophrenic was a great experience and a great result. Will definitely be returning in future!

She is a true artist and I can’t recommend her more. She is so friendly and kind. We took lots of breaks, she stopped when it was getting too much and the process from start to finish was so easy and comfortable. The studio is a great space for all working in there as you can have as much or as little privacy as needed. It’s social and the buzz is amazing. Can’t recommend Irina and Skinzophrenic enough!

Fantastic experience: Visited the shop today for a tattoo booked in with Ellie, I couldn’t recommend both her and the shop more. It was super welcoming and I felt really relaxed. Ellie’s work is amazing and I will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: This was my first ever tattoo I had gotten, I decided to go all out and get the danzo sleeve from Naruto, the artist I went with was marco and he wrasse an amazing guy who was really helpful with the tattoo he told me what he was doing with it. Everyone else in the building were also really nice and helpful as well, great place to go would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had my first tattoo done by Raquel, she was really friendly/attentive and created me an original design which I loved even more than the reference. Her attention to detail and delicate linework is unmatched and I’ve gotten so many compliments already (even during the crusty peeling healing stage). She gave me loads of advice on aftercare and answered any questions I had. Everyone at the studio was really friendly and made me feel welcome. I’d 100% recommend and I’ll definitely be back soon. *Plus they had heated chairs, blankets and good tunes. Difficult to pass up really.

Fantastic experience: 2 tattoos done by Racquel - really happy with the work, she added her own unique elements to the design and they both look amazing. Racquel also knows a lot about fine line so was able to help me with placement to give the tattoo the best outcome.
