Negative experience: Incredibly expensive, Charged ten pound just to put jewellery in my ear that had fallen out only for it to fall out a week later without being touched! Ten pound and it lasted a week

Positive experience: Leaving 3 stars due to the staff members being nice mostly. The removed two stars are due to the fact that one lobe wasn't straight, the other turned infected and they weren't aligned. Before you asked yes I followed the aftercare routine, I cleaned my lobes at least 3 times daily. Asked to get them re-pierced once they healed and got told that I'd have to pay the price again (even though it was their mistake with the piercing placement). I won't be coming back and already found other studio who at least knows how to pierce properly.

Fantastic experience: Had an old tattoo covered today with Jan, absolutely lovely lady! Threw some examples and ideas at Jan and what she came up with was perfect! I love my tattoo, and will be going back for more! Felt so welcomed and relaxed at studio 81 great vibe in the place and all the staff are very friendly and professional, highly recommend! Second tattoo done at studio 81 with the amazing Jan! Love this place, great atmosphere, all the staff are so nice! Will be back for a third soon! Tattoo #3 Paying homage to 9 Years of marriage, with our button hole flowers, song lyrics and two Barbie pink hearts, once again the amazing Jan Royle down at studio 81 has done an amazing job on this special tattoo! As always the staff down at studio 81 are so friendly, professional and deliver a great experience every time we have been in for tattoos!

Fantastic experience: This weekend I took advantage of the shops black Friday sales for a couple piercings. Got there nice and early on Sunday and all the staff were extremely welcoming and a good laugh even after a busy weekend doing over 1000 piercings!!! We even caught Jay mid photoshoot before the piercings Will definitely be recommending!

Fantastic experience: Genuinely the best piercing experience I’ve had in a long time. Went in on a whim to get my nostril pierced whilst having a break from studying. I am a wheelchair user and although the shop is not wheelchair accessible, the staff were happy to help me get my wheelchair in and were as accommodating as they could possibly be. Piercings can be stressful for me as a disabled person, especially with some of my disabilities that make piercings a bit more difficult, but here it was just an overall amazing experience. I couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone, I already have to some friends.

I was nervous after a rocky experience with another studio in Preston, but this was an entirely positive experience from start to finish. All staff were welcoming and the piercer made me feel at ease. The process of repiercing couldn't have gone any smoother and it was pain-free. She was a little nervous but Jay gave her loads of reassurance and made her feel at ease. The process was very quick and Jay explained the steps to her before he made a start. Fantastic experience: Excellent, professional , paramount hygiene, relaxed atmosphere .I booked here mainly because of the helpful and professional attitude of the artists not all tattooists make you feel welcome especially as they're busy these days but right from the start Studio 81 was a different vibe, I booked in with a lady artist Jan Royle and had first class treatment from the off, from the initial consultation to appointment for template and the actual tattoo date everything went perfectly fine.I can't recommend Jan highly enough she's the best and I have many tats but this is a work of art , I feel I have a Piccasso on my arm with many compliments Thanks to Jan and all the team at Studio 81 and I must add the prices are the most reasonable in Preston and you certainly get what you pay for, the free touch up service a few weeks later really is proof an artist takes pride in their work .I'll be back here soon and can't wait .

I trust him very much and everyone else in there are lovely people and great fun to be around. Negative experience: Went here to have a septum. It took 2 min and it was basically painless however it was pierced crooked and it doesn't look simmetrical at all. When mentioned he said that it would have fixed itself but you can clearly see the pierce from one nostril and not from the other because a hole is higher than the other and sits ahead while the other one is lower and a bit behind. What i didn't like was the lack of attention since it wasn't a busy day and I would have expected him to measure it more carefully instead of pinch and pierce randomly. It is ok to say no if you don't feel comfortable in doing it.

Fantastic experience: Jay was brill, just needed the metal changing in my ears and he sorted it for me within 5 minutes, no waiting around, a really reasonable price for new jewellery, and swapped them for me for no extra cost. Will be coming here for any future piercings for sure.

Fantastic experience: Stu was great, offered good advice beforehand and listened to what I had in mind. Booking in was straight forward, had to pay a cash deposit as they get people not turning up for appointments but this was not a problem for me. Turned up on time and the whole process was quick, clean, comfortable and professional. Had a great chat with Stu while he did my tattoo and had some good laughs. Aftercare procedure is clear, will be back in a couple of weeks to look it over. Will absolutely be back here to continue my tattoo journey. Thanks guys
