Fantastic experience: I went yesterday on a whim to the Tattoo Lab in Halifax, to get my nipples pierced. I saw Prerna for my piecing. I only live a 5 min drive from their shop, so it turned out to be so convenient for me. I saw that they popped up at the very top of my google search and they boasted so many 5 star reviews, that mention amazing technical skills, the cleanliness of their location/shop, professionalism and more. Now about the whole experience for me!: I am IMPRESSED, to say the least. The first review I saw was about Prerna's exceptional piercing skills. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, spoke very clear and concise about the entire process, including aftercare, that she went very into detail about. I felt very at ease about the experience. I didnt want to mention to Prerna, but I can get severe anxiety about situations -VERY easily, so for me to not have had an anxiety attack and pass myself out, speaks volumes about the whole servuce, I made sure I was super hydrated and had a decent meal beforehand -this definitely helps with not becoming lightheaded/dizzy/passing out. She told me beforehand to do so. The pain level of the piercing really had nothing to do with Prerna's skills, because today? The day after both of my piercings, known to be one of the most painful piercings because of the nerve endings located there and how slow you must go to ensure even and safe nipple piercings. I believe the piericing would have hurt alot worse, if it wasn't a piercer like Prerna! She pierced them PERFECTLY and was very forthcoming with some great information on the piercings and the prep process beforehand. The shop was pristinely clean, the perfect temp, thad some cool decorations and everyone looked and acted very professional. I received the utmost care to make sure I had privacy in the shop! Overall, the PERFECT EXPERIENCE. For reference, I've only had my lip pierced twice, my tongue pierced, my nose twice and my ears 4 times. So I'm not a stranger to piercings, I just haven't had any piercings known to be really painful! As the ones I have, are piercings that are completed faster, aw the skin can be clamped taut and thinner to make sure it's easier to pierce. I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY PIERCINGS, THANK YOU PRERNA!!! I will be back in 2/3 months to get my downsizing done!

I’ve been tattooed from LA to Denver to Philly, and this was the cleanest, least painful work I’ve seen. Also in the US it’s common practice to cover a finished new tattoo with plastic and medical tape for a day; Vivek uses second skin which is so far and above better I’ll be sending word back across the border to up their game.
