Fantastic experience: I went in to get some nipple piercings today. It was a lot nicer than some other experiences I've had getting pierced. Being in the room with a friend of mine who got a labret piercing here a while ago really encouraged me to come back. My piercer was very cool about my anatomy (being trans and all) which I really appreciated since it can be awkward at the best of times. Will 100% be going back for future piercings. Very happy with the placement and process!

Negative experience: I’ve never had such a terrible piercing experience, as a body piercer myself that has out trust into another it is really irritating that this is happening to me. I appreciate how apologetic she was and that she wanted to redo but didn’t realize it was only gonna get worse from there. After my Ashley piercing being done crooked, and then done again… I am now dealing with internal bleeding under my lip and a perforated vein!! I had to get a bar custom made larger because a 12mm ended up sucking into my lip! I have never had to use anything more than a 12mm on someone’s lips as small as mine, this is ridiculous. And before you guys say “why didn’t you come back” why on earth would I after such a traumatic experience? Please teach your piercers better practices and maybe use a different angle on lip piercings as the way this girl was going about it was completely ill practice. Everyone in the piercing industry has had a slip up I can understand this as it’s happened to me…but never this bad! This is insane I’ve never experienced such pain and trauma!!! COULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY LESS!

Negative experience: I have been going to king of rings for sometime now, I’ve had at-least 5 different piercing done by the lovely staff and never had a bad experience up until the other day. I requested a flat piercing which is what I received but the whole experience with my piercer was horrible. I asked numerous times if my glasses needed to be removed as they were in the way of my ear and she insisted they did not so I left them on despite it being quite uncomfortable for me and seeming to make it more difficult for her. The piercing of the cartilage itself was a nightmare amount of pain (this is coming from someone with intimate piercings and having over 15 different ear piercings) I have never been so uncomfortable. Now a few days have passed and my ear is so infected I can’t even remove the peircing because the swelling has engulfed the earring. I have been salt bathing it 2-3 times a day and nothing will help with pain or swelling. I have never reacted badly to a piercing before until now. I am unsure as to why my ear is reacting so poorly but given I didn’t see/feel her sanitize the area at all and putting me in severe discomfort throughout the process I’m starting to believe she is unqualified and needs more training. I do not recommend going to king of rings if you don’t already trust the person doing your piercing 100% as this staff member has completely changed my view of the whole company.

Fantastic experience: I got my navel pierced there yesterday my piercer was so professional and explained the process to me extremely well as I was abit nervous but she reassured me.my piercer was nice and quick with it and made it as less painful as she could She explained the aftercare in excellent detail. I highly recommend and I will most definitely go back there if I get another piercing

Fantastic experience: Had a belly captive ring piercing that had closed up after needing multiple MRI’s. 2 minutes with a taper and hole opened again. I only have the one piercing, but if I wanted more, I would defs come here. Totally recommend this place.

Negative experience: Went here to get my forward helix done, they messed up the first hole and had to re pierce me, I have multiple piercings done elsewhere this was by far the most painful, wasn’t offered a refund or atleast the jewellery free for the mistake. Not to mention two weeks later I had to dig out a piece of tubing left behind in my ear. Worst experience.

We spoke to Keely on the phone and i’m not sure if she did my ears but she was so kind and helpful with it. she listened to me and really helped me with the whole process. Recommend for everyone!!

Walk in and honestly tell this gem “you do you” and it’ll be the best decision you make. Keely curates your ears and executes it to a T and nails the jewellery she styles your ears with every time! Not only is she sensational at what she does but she’s a beautiful soul. Always ensuring you are fully educated in regards to having the correct anatomy for the piercing, the aftercare and healing time frames. Also wouldn’t be the same without Mollys company and input at every session. Molly has pierced my daughter and we have nothing but high praises for her as well. My daughter went quite light headed after having her belly pierced and Molly ensured she got her sugars up with sweets and was 100% back to herself before we left xx

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter to get her nose pierced. She had been wanting this for over a year, however, anxiety was high and fear was setting in. The lady performing the procedure (sorry did not catch her name), was very patient and was able to talk and guide her through the process. Overall my daughter was very happy with the experience and her new piercing.

Fantastic experience: There’s nothing better than beautiful welcoming smiles when you coming in to get a cartilage ear piercing (yep they do hurt). The ladies at kings of rings are always so friendly. They helped me decide on jewellery when I am so indecisive. Keely Johnson (my expert piercer) is amazing. Knowledgeable, comforting. She’s always as excited as I when I come in for another piercing. Will be coming in for more as Keely helps me built up my masterpiece (or ear if you like). Highly recommend these guys A+++

Fantastic experience: Always had great experiences when coming into King of Rings. Had multiple piercings which healed beautifully and look great. To this day I always recommend coming here with great customer service, friendly staff and an aesthetic atmosphere.

Negative experience: got a piercing here and the lady pierced it on an angle so she had to take it out and redo it. I had so many complications such as having the piercing go inside my skin every day and it got to the point I could see the bar through layers of skin. In the end I obviously had to take it out as it would have ripped open my skin if I left it in. Will never ever go here again as this experience honestly scarred me

Fantastic experience: First experience of a good piercer in Vic, unreal service, from phone calls to walk ins all the girls are lovely. In February I booked in to get both my nipples pierced, Molly was amazing, made me feel so comfortable and did such a great job! Last week I made the spontaneous decision to walk in and get my tongue pierced, walked in and as always everyone was so lovely and fun to be around, Keely did such a great job piercing my tongue! I honestly couldn't be happier with the service here and will definitely be back!

Negative experience: I have been to King of Rings multiple times for various piercings and each time have gradually had worse experiences. The whole set up of the shop is great and the young staff members are absolutely fantastic to talk to. Very friendly with a great vibe. However, there is an older lady that works here (unsure of any names) who makes the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. I have seen younger staff change completely when she is around compared to not and her bluntness and disinterest is very uninviting. I have had some piercings done that have been fantastic, however my nose piercing had a trauma bump on it. What took around 6 months of King of Rings staff telling me they take a while to go down and providing rock salts, was fixed within a couple of days at Silver Tongue around the corner by changing the piercing. As told by a staff member at Silver Tongue, the piercing King of Rings had pierced my nose with was known for causing problems with bumps and sores. The piercing was changed and the bump cleared right up. On top of that, King of Rings jewellery is very overpriced compared to a lot of places for jewellery that I have had break and discoulour very quickly. King of Rings also charge $10 ‘for gloves’ to have a piercing change whereas Silver Tongue do not charge, regardless of whether you have just purchased a piercing. The amount of money I have wasted here is very upsetting now I know there are alternative options. I have been very disappointed of recent and would no longer recommend this place to anyone. I really hope it can return to the standard it was.

Negative experience: I came to this shop to get an industrial piercing on the 22nd of Feb, not even a week later it became infected. I tried to contact the store for assistance and some advice, and have still received no response, despite the facebook page being posted on regularly. I don't feel the professional level of this business is totally up there, so I don't recommend it nor will I go back. Which is disappointing, they have some talented artists. Editing to add a screenshot of the apparent non existent message :) And no further help is required, as I contacted another studio that helped me out on the day!

My piercer was thorough, professional and gentle and she explained the after-care very well. Definitely will go back to King of Rings in the future if I get more piercings!

Negative experience: Very dissapointed after receiving terrible customer service. Being a first time customer I called a few times in the day to ensure the spot was secured and after advising I was running 30 minutes late I was told not to stress and the booking was still avaliable for that time. After a 3 hour drive we arrived to town and called the shop to tell them we were nearly there, the receptionist then told us that they could not do the tattoo because we were 20 minutes late and the artist has now gone home. We questioned why we were told it was fine in the first place and now its not, she then denied the conversation happening and said we will have to leave it at that. Not to mention we had an hour booked in and it seemed like the artist was not even informed by her. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have had my lip and eyebrow pierced at King of Rings. I am totally scared of needles, but they were kind, gentle (as gentle as you can be pushing a needle through skin ) and understanding. I've then home back to buy stretchers for my ears. Everytime they have been wonderful and very knowledgeable in their service. I'll be going back here for any piercing needs in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have had multiple piercings at King of Rings and can't fault them on a professional attitude. I am definitely not the easiest to be pierced because I get tense/nervous beforehand but I always feel comfortable with the staff. I have had one tattoo done by Adam and again cannot fault service. He helped me get exactly what I wanted with slight changes to a pre drawn design and was professional.

Fantastic experience: Sarah has worked with me to create a beautiful tribute tattoo to my three beautiful babies. When a very little of the colour ink didn't stick through healing she fitted me in for a complimentary touch up too. I've always felt warmly welcomed by the whole team and the work Sarah had done is gorgeous! I strongly recommend King of Rings if you're thinking about getting inked.

Plenty of jewellery to pick from.. they did a professional job, with good instructions on how to care for your piercing.
