Fantastische ervaring: I love this place it’s second time I am there. Tattoo artist Sofia is the best for me. I have around 40 tattoos, but no one does them the way she does. She is very gentle and approaches her work in a highly professional manner. She explains everything clearly. I will definitely be a frequent customer.

The team was very nice and accomodation when it came to consulting and discussing my design, as well as working out the best time to do the tattoo itself. I thought Sofia did an excellent job taking my vague-ish design to the next level. I felt very safe and welcomed while tattooing. Unfortunately, there was no second skin available, but Sofia did advise me on alternatives.

Negatieve ervaring: Here's my bad experience at this place(VeAn tattoo Rotterdam)I chose this studio because I saw good reviews, good reviews of the tattoo artist as well, and her work seemed, apparently, PERFECT from the photos I saw. Now I'm here with a tattoo that's more poorly done than well done. One of my tattoos, now that it's healing, and I can see it more clearly, I'm at a loss for words. The tattoo is horrible, and I wanted to try not to be so rude here, because I'm not that kind of person. I scheduled the appointment with them and went to the first session on time. When I got there, the tattoo artist was late, but I let it go. That happens to everyone. But afterward, she didn't offer any explanation. When it was time to continue the tattoo, she didn't even know which tattoo I was getting, much less that I was getting TWO tattoos. And from the scheduled time, we started tattooing 30MINUTE later. And with one of my tattoos, it was in a place where technically it shouldn't have hurt as much as it did that day. The pain was almost unbearable; it wasn't normal! I'd gotten tattoos before (not in that place), and I know how painful a tattoo can be. But since she'd already started, I didn't want to stop there. Especially since finding someone else would have been really difficult. When she finished the first tattoo, she DIDN'T KNOW she had a second one to do. It was just that. It was so unprepared, so unprofessional, that's what I saw there. With my second tattoo, it was the most traumatic. I believe the tattoo was being done with too much pressure, and the pain was in my soul. I don't think that was normal. How can a site like that have 5 stars? And the artists 5 stars? Is this supposed to be happening to me? Is this normal procedure for them? I was advised to go back for a touch-up, but I have to pay for that... I didn't finish the second tattoo the same day; I had to go back a few weeks later. I arrived at the scheduled time. She arrived at the scheduled time. But we started my tattoo an hour after the appointment! My tattoo is healing here now, and I realized it's a mess. It's just a mess. Since the ink "wasn't taking," I was advised not to get any more tattoos because my "skin is too sensitive"?? Now I'm here with my tattoo, a mess. The colors aren't the same as in the photo. And I paid a lot of money for them to give me this result. I asked my doctor for advice and was very scared by what he told me. According to him, they might have used old ink on my body... I hope that's not the case. I hope they didn't do anything wrong to my body. I paid a lot for these tattoos, and I'll never go back to that place again. Now I have to go to the doctor to make sure everything is okay. Let me make it clear that it wasn't due to lack of hygiene or care for my tattoo!

Fantastische ervaring: During our city trip in Rotterdam we went to this tattoo parlour because why not?! The people working there are so nice and friendly and were open to all of our ideas. The artist did an amazing job and has a big variety of different styles. He works with great precision and the results of our tattoos are incredible. Not only are the tattoos great, we each took a new piercing at the shop. Don't doubt to come here! It's very clean and nice and if we're ever back in Rotterdam we will visit this parlour again. Without a doubt! (Btw, I'm sorry guys for this late review, procrastination and whatnot..)

Fantastische ervaring: Just got back from my second piercing here and I’m definitely coming back again. They’re incredibly kind and clearly care about the result and your wellbeing. Went for my micro dermal a couple weeks ago, she took the time to make sure it was placed well and made me comfortable when I started feeling lightheaded. Also got advice really quickly when I reached out to them on Instagram during the initial healing. Went back for my conch and I’m once again really happy with the results!

Fantastische ervaring: A friend and I made an appointment to get a tattoo together during our visit in Rotterdam. I made the appointment via instagram as the website didn’t work for me. The service online was great and very quick to help. They also called in advance to check in if we still came and also to let us know about any time-changes. For the appointment itself there is nothing to complain. Everyone made sure we‘re comfortable and answered all questions. Our artist was very kind and made sure everything was sterile and clean - as I personally would expect it to be in every good tattoo studio. They all took their time with us and were focused during the appointment. The girl at the reception was also really sweet and answered every question we had. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come again if I visit Rotterdam once more!

Hygiene was great as everything was kept thoroughly disinfected throughout the process. The artist designed exactly what I had in mind and executed it beautifully. They were also very clear about the recommended aftercare. Overall, it was a great experience with no negatives I can think of. Would definitely come back here.

Fantastische ervaring: Sadly I was very late into the Netherlands because my flight didn’t set off until a hour later. Kept thinking they was going to say sorry but were going to have to cancel. But no they stuck to their guns waited till I got there, then it was right to getting the tattoo done. Honestly the most relaxed tattoo I’ve had so far, at times I started to fall asleep. They absolutely aced the tattoo, I’m planning on going over again soon so at least I know where to go and I’ll make sure I’m not on a late flight over.

I’ve had other experiences before, so this was a happy relief. The place itself is very clean and the piercer lady was very mindful when it came to hygiene. She also made sure to comfort me since I was so nervous. And this all within 20min. 10/10!!
