Expérience négative: I was really excited to get my tattoo done here. The design wasn't too big but it was on the inside of my bicep near the armpit so I was under the impression that it wouldn't hurt as much as it did. However, even after being told that this spot doesn't hurt by many of my friends who are tatted up, the process was very painful and I even had to get numbing spry put on. It's about 4-5 weeks healed and it's still raised in certain spots and I was even heavily bruised where he was holding me. (They were perfect finger bruises that lasted a week) Hardeep was my tattoo artist and it's a stretch to call him that. I'm pretty sure he was under the influence and I wish I just said no to him tattooing me and gotten it done somewhere else. The tattoo is still raised and a little red. My boyfriend also came with me and got a dandelion tattoo. For context when we booked the appointment we told them it was going to be a custom design and we offered to show the type of vibe he was going for but they brushed us off and didn't ask more questions. Day of the appointment his time was double book and Hardeep was rushing to get the design done. (Which we learned he can't really draw, only copy.) Finally the stencil looked good and my bf really liked it. But somehow he messed the tattoo up by adding to much petals to the sides and tried to even it out at the top but it just made it look worse. The tattoo healed like a scab and took 4 weeks to look more like a semi normal tattoo. Wouldn't ever go to again.

Hardeep is such a cool guy that listens and creates a welcoming environment that is super safe and encouraging. With my first tattoo, I was extremely nervous and wasn’t sure how everything worked and the aftercare that was required in getting a tattoo. I also didn’t know the pain levels of getting a tattoo because I hear many mixed reviews. Hardeep and his sister that was at the shop at the time and they told us EVERYTHING we needed to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable with the tattoo and the aftercare process. I got a beautiful forearm piece done here by the oh so talented Evelyn a few years ago, and knew I definitely had to make a return to the shop eventually. This time around, I had a gorgeous red peony back piece done by Evelyn’s husband Hardeep, and I couldn’t be happier. He made it his mission to achieve my goals and completely exceeded. He took my original design inspo and completely amplified it into something amazing. He made the whole experience very comfortable and inclusive. I felt very welcomed and appreciated the entire time. He had exquisite taste in stand up comedy specials playing on the tv might I add. I even got some free pizza out of it! Who can complain about that? In all seriousness, you can tell they have a true passion for what they are doing and are great people. The amount of in depth work that Hardeep accomplished in 2 sessions is astounding. I had recently been through a major life change and finally decided to get the tattoo I always wanted. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by multiple staff members. They were all extremely helpful and wanted to make sure I was making the right decision. When I walked in the door I wanted a butterfly but shortly after talking to the staff I decided to get my daughter’s name. Each staff member had a short conversation with me and this made me feel so comfortable. I was very nervous but the whole team make me feel like I was meant to be there! After going through a tough time in my life, I never thought I find friends at the least expected moment. After I spoke to the staff I was introduced to the owner Hardeep. He literally became my friend in less than five minutes. His friendly, outgoing personality is something that everyone take note of when owning a business. He shared personal stories about his life as he started my tattoo. He made sure it was exactly what I wanted and confirmed it through all the beautiful staff members that were working that night. I was surprised to learn that his wife works there. This was truly amazing to me and the way he spoke about his wife led me to trust him even more. I mean, this may be a bit overboard for a google review but sometimes when people reach out to help others they deserve positive sunshine and light. I will forever remember my first tattoo, not only because it’s my daughters name but because Hardeep took the time to understand me. I would highly recommend going to see Hardeep and his team in Cloverdale. You will not be disappointed!!

Expérience négative: My friends and I came for matching tattoos. Our tattoos were done by hardeep. The tattoo doesn't look good at all. This is 2 months It's very faded and will need to be touched up or covered. It's supposed to be a ladybug with hearts on its back. As it was healing there were parts of it that had pus and it was sore. None of my other tattoos have healed like this. As I was leaving The parlor, the owner said if you have nothing nice to say don't post it online. But now that it's fully healed it still looks terrible and I don't like it.

Yes this was Saturday October 5, everyone was sitting around, one person literally walked past me from the studio to the desk, picked something up, walked back to the studio, the BACK to the desk to put the item back. No eye contact, no greeting. I would have more than content with a "hey man, give us a minute, someone will be with you shortly" but Not. One. Word. I felt like I was intruding. And I'm sorry I slammed the door when I left, that was uncalled for.

Expérience fantastique: Hardeep Sandhu the owner of the shop took me in for a day of walk-in and his wife, owner of the second location Evelyn, drew up an amazing tattoo for me. Throughout the process Hardeep gave me several breaks when needed (which did not add to the hourly rate), kept me entertained, hydrated. Most importantly, he ensured at every step that the design was unique and added his creative flair to really make the design pop!

Expérience positive: Got a tattoo done here and honestly the tattoo itself looks great. Although given the price I thought that at least id get it covered with saniderm or second skin which is what more tattoo artists are moving onto but all they had was saran wrap? Ive gotten 4 other tattoos and I recieved saniderm or second skill from all the studios I went to. They where also more affordable but I chose this place based on the good rep and reviews. Again my tattoo turned out well but I was very surprised when I got the bill no breathable post tattoo bandages. Lots of people say saniderm and second skin are overrated but there was one time I was given plastic wrap for a 5th tattoo prior to this I developed an infection. Not because I cant follow instructions but just because food grade plastic wrap just isnt as full proof.

Expérience négative: I had Taryn tattoo me and my friend. She kept starting and stopping to talk to her coworkers which ran up the time it took to do my tattoo. When it healed, one of the wings (I got a bee tattoo) wasn’t even connected to the body. When my friend and I tried contacting her for our free touch up, we emailed her several times for 2 weeks and never heard back from her. I can’t say anything about the rest of the staff but I would never see her again.

Expérience fantastique: Dari was the most amazing artist I have been to! She made my tattoo design totally personalized and was willing to make minor changes and size adjustments without issue. She makes you feel so comfortable and is so fun to talk to! She is so talented and kind and a wonderful soul. Dari had such a professional work environment and was super understanding when I wanted to adjust the art (again in a minor way). She made sure I was still good for our appointment time and was super kind and excited to do the art from the moment I walked in. I definitely recommend going to see her and get some custom or flash done!

Expérience fantastique: I cannot sing Diabolikal's praises high enough! I first came across Dari's work in a completely different shop on a total stranger- I loved the style so much I asked for the artist's information. Dari was responsive, friendly, and wildly artistic; I could tell right away that I had chosen the right person. Myself and two others (my fiancé and my best friend) decided to all get matching Destiny 2 tattoos by Dari- who drafted up some absolutely incredible designs based on what we asked for. I can not impress this enough: studio 2's vibes are IMMACULATE. I was so relaxed and comfortable the entire time; everyone there was incredible, charismatic and just fun to be around. In fact... It speaks volumes for itself that while my friends continued to get their tattoos done, I was so impressed by the studio that I immediately asked one of the other staff (Fox) if they could take me as a walk-in. It was serendipitous. I cannot rave about the quality of her cover up enough. She took a lame pink star I did when I was 15 and transformed it into a floral, Miyazaki themed masterpiece. I underestimated just how overjoyed it would make me. I'm so grateful to these immensely talented artists and their wonderful environment.

Expérience négative: I had a confirmed morning appointment, but when I showed up, the doors were locked. No one answered phone calls either. Waited 30 mins, and emailed them to see what happened. Received a response near 3 pm saying their only piercer is actually out of town - time which had been booked off by their staff after my appointment was booked. So, it was something they were aware of in advance of my scheduled appointment, and still didn't deem it necessary to contact me/inform me. On the contrary, I received an appointment confirmation message. Wasted half my day on a day off. Very poor management. Was going to leave a one star review, but leaving two because they did offer 15% off if I choose to reschedule. I will however not be returning as the lack of consideration is not okay by me. EDIT: The appointment was booked on June 5, for July 4, at a time suggested by their own staff. They had a full month to let me know of changes. And while mistakes do get made and I appreciate them accepting full accountability for it, still very avoidable and very unpleasant an experience to go through, with barely anything offered as reparation.

Expérience fantastique: I absolutely adore diabolikal! I personally have mostly been to studio 2 which is ran by Eve, absolutely lovely owner. Super sweet and really makes everyone feel super welcomed. I have a piece done by Dari, an artist that has recently started working at diabolikal and I absolutely adore her and their work. She did my Gigi and soot sprite piece and did such a wonderful job. I love the aesthetic of this shop and the environment. I was friends with Dari before she worked at Diabolikal and I’m so proud to see her progress and how much she’s grown since moving to diabolikal and apprenticing under Eve. Super proud of all their work, all the artists have such beautiful art styles. Absolutely love this shop and would absolutely recommend to everyone but especially those looking for whimsical style tattoos!! Love you diabolikal

Expérience fantastique: By far one of the best tattoo shops I've been to. All of the staff were super friendly they make you feel right at home. I went in for a spur of the moment tattoo. Just wanted an out line. And I got way more then I was expecting. My Artist was ashley and she absolutely blew my mind. She took my simple little outline stencil and turned it into my favorite tattoo. I will definitely be going back for more tattoos at this place they go above and beyond. Expérience fantastique: Was visiting from Winnipeg, a very close friend in Langley for 420 in Vancouver. Went for dinner with my dads️‍ and got the urge to get BFF tattoos! Everything was closed or busy. Diabolikal answered and asked us to be there in 15min. We were there in 12 was welcomed by Freddy Mercury (). A dj showed up for some ink and played some tunes while we got our tats. Great conversations, laughs, beats and puppy lovins. Was like hanging out with close friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
