I reached out to her because my childhood fur baby passed away 5 days before xmas and the age of 14. I missed her a lot and decided to get a tattoo in her memory on my side rib cage. I found Jebi on IG and reached out. Throughout the whole process Jebi was so wonderful in helping me decide on design. She recommended one to me and helped me incorporate the red string of fate + some of my baby’s favorite snacks as part of the design (Korean sweet potato and fried chicken ). The whole process was completely painless which was surprising since I could feel the gun vibrating on my rib. Experiencia fantástica: This past weekend I got my first tattoo by Ria ( @tattooist_kimria) in honor of my dog Hailey’s passing 1 year ago. I felt like I got extremely lucky finding Ria, and the timing of it all worked so well that I was able to get set up on the 1-year anniversary of her passing. It was everything I could have asked for, and more. I had been to a couple of places to get quotes, and they didn’t really sit there and take the time to understand this tattoo was really important to me, not only that it’s my first, but that it was in memoriam of my dog of 15 years. I got a response quickly after submitting my information through VISM’s website and began working on the scheduling and detail of the tattoo, sending photos over to Ria and her team for review. Ria came up with multiple designs and sent those, I think I knew in a matter of seconds because one of the photos felt like I could see Hailey's eyes again, it was honestly crazy. We worked through the final details, with Ria allowing me to make changes to the certain areas of the design, and she got it dialed in and sent over a few days before and it was perfect. I got to the studio and immediately felt comfortable in the space. Ria was great at working with my – this is my first tattoo and I went chest, too which all my friends built up that it would be painful. I was in the chair for maybe 2.5 hours total, didn’t have to break at all. Ria was great at checking in with my throughout, but those 2.5 hours allowed me time to think back through the 15 years of Hailey and I’s time together. It was truly a one of a kind experience, and one that I had been hoping to have with my first tattoo since I though of the idea. Ria was great in everyway and VISM Studio’s support and direction on how to prepare for the tattoo, payment process, and all that was easy to understand. I highly recommend Ria if you are looking to memorialize your pup or kitty – I can’t wait to see the finished result here in a month once it is fully healed. It’s still so crazy how she got Hailey’s eyes!

Experiencia fantástica: Ria’s talent is undeniable! She did such remarkable work representing my beloved cat Snow. She gave me multiple designs options before my appointment, all of them were in the shape of the paw print that I provided to her and Snow’s face was just perfect. She also made sure to redo the parts that I asked her to revise. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a tattoo artist who knows how to catch every details of your furry friend!

Experiencia fantástica: The shop is really big and beautiful. Abii is so sweet and very professional. She gave me an amazing tattoo that I absolutely love. For size reference, the hummingbird is the size of my thumbnail. I couldn't have chosen a better artist to give me my very first tattoo. Edit: I have added two photos of the healed tattoo one month later - vibrant bright colors and easy healing time. I absolutely ❤️ it!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm absolutely over the moon for my Peruvian Racket-tail hummingbird tattoo by Abii. She nailed the design immediately, and was very accommodating when I had some very minor feedback. Her attention to detail was incredible and it came out even better than I could have imagined. Abii herself was very lovely and pleasant to be around, and the studio was clean, bright, and comfortable. I live in Las Vegas and drove all the way to LA with all the traffic for this tattoo, and it was well worth the time. Every time I look down at it, it makes me so happy.

Experiencia fantástica: Simply an incredible tattoo shop and experience. Eden did an amazing job designing from my ideas. The entire process was super smooth from booking through appointment. I could not be happier with my tattoo! I am local to SoCal but always weary of getting close to DTLA. However, the shop is in a really nice and clean area of the Arts District. Parking was a breeze (I found a great public parking structure around the corner from Arrow Lodge). I highly recommend Eden or even just the VISM Studio to anyone interested in getting a high quality tattoo.

Experiencia negativa: I was charged $500/hour for a tattoo by Abii that didn’t end up looking like the design. Not only that, but she did not honor the initial estimate and raised the price. I received an estimate of $2200-2500 for a 6” tattoo of a black bird and red berries, a first tattoo that would be placed on my upper arm. Despite friends warning me that I was being overcharged, I made the appointment anyway. A few weeks before the appointment, I messaged and said I was worried about being able to tolerate the pain level. Abii then drew up a new estimate of $1500- $1600 for just the bird tattoo, and I thought that if I got the berries later, it would be about $1000. I got the bird tattoo and was able to tolerate the pain. However, the tattoo took only 3.5 hours and cost $1500. I think Abii began to realize she was grossly overcharging me as she got closer to finishing. So, she took more time to shade the blackbird's epaulet. In the design, the epaulet is bright red and yellow. What I ended up with looks like a pus-filled wound on the bird’s wing. I couldn’t get a good look at the finished tattoo in the studio because of its placement. When I got home, I was distraught at the realization that I had spent so much on a tattoo that did not even look like the design which featured a bright, solid-colored, red epaulet on the bird. What I got was a tattoo of a red-winged blackbird that does not have a red wing. But I told myself that once I got the berries, the tattoo might look better overall. When I emailed about getting the rest of the tattoo, I was told that it would be another $1600-1700 for the berries! This is $1000 more than the initial quote I received! I was shocked that the cost had so drastically increased from the estimate. I assumed that the $1500 for the first tattoo would only apply if that were the ONLY tattoo I ended up getting. Not only that, the berries are in color and require shading, and the bird was a simple black bird with almost no color. They should not have been the same price. My negative experience also extends to the VISM studio, which did not send me any info about how to prepare for my tattoo and how to take care of it afterward. I had to request this info myself. The tattoo I received is not worth $1500, and the fact that the cost went up is just awful.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my tattoo done last month with Abii. I loved that her design perfectly captured everything I wanted. I also had a wonderful experience with her; she is extremely talented, kind, and professional. She ensured I was completely comfortable during the entire session, was patient in answering all my questions, and gave me a tattoo that I absolutely love and exceeding my expectations. The staff in the studio were also all welcoming from the initial contact up until when I left the studio. I’ll definitely be going back with Abii in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: After YEARS of admiring the work of the artists that come out of VISM studio, it was finally my 2025 resolution to get a tattoo from my favorite artist @abii_tattoo. I am so happy with the entire experience. Abii and her team are very communicative, professional, and above all -- talented! I get daily compliments on her work and I still can't believe it's real! The detail is incredible and I love how collaborative the experience was. I will absolutely be getting more in the future but for now I am so grateful for such a gorgeous piece of art. Thanks Abii!

Experiencia fantástica: Got my first colored tattoo with Jebi today! It’s been a while since I got a tattoo so I was very excited about it and Jebi made the process super easy and smooth. I found her on Instagram (@jebi.tattoo) and fell in love with her art, so I immediately sent an inquiry. I requested my tan morkie playing with his favorite toy (Dino with a Santa hat), and my cat whacking him as he runs by. She was super responsive and was happy to receive my pet pictures and videos for reference. She sent very clear instructions for the process. I was a little worried because she said I’d receive the design only 3 days before, but it was super cute and she was very willing to make some tweaks. Everything I had requested was in the design and more. The studio itself is very clean (and I found out I actually also follow a few other artists in the same studio), there’s a bathroom, water, etc. My appt was at 10:30am and I finished at about 2:15pm, with a break in between. Jebi and the studio provide detailed aftercare instructions, and she followed up with an email as well where I asked a few more questions about the healing process. Overall it was a great experience and I’m super satisfied with the end result. Can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s healed!

Experiencia fantástica: I got a tattoo from Jebi and couldn’t be happier! She worked with me to perfect the design a few days ahead of time, and did a fantastic job on my tattoo! Shes incredibly sweet too, which is always a plus! I’ve had a lot of tattoos and found the pricing to be very appropriate and reasonable for the quality of the work! I wanted something featuring my cats and her flower doodles and she sent me two styles of cat faces (I loved both styles!) and I ended up mixing elements from both of her designs. She was quick and friendly about making multiple adjustments to the design to make sure I was very happy with the finished design! When I arrived she had printed the design in multiple sizes and we discussed a few placement ideas and she helped recommend the location. I told her to use whichever size and placement she thought would look best (on the back of my arm so I can still see it but also people behind might see it too) and I loved the outcome. The studio is spacious, comfortable and clean. I felt very comfortable, and would happily return to the studio to see Jebi again, or another artist! They have several incredibly talented artists who work out of their shop and I had been following on IG and even already spoken to two other artists there about getting inked and only just realized they all work out of the same studio! Parking was easy, lots of street parking around the studio, and getting there was easy too (it’s in the arts district area) After she finished, she took pics on my camera and several very nice, well lit photos with a quality professional camera that she sent to me afterwards. It’s nice having these high quality pictures of it for my own use (and for her to use on her social media too!) Payment was also a breeze, they have QR codes for paying via multiple digital payment options, and for tipping the artists too making it easy to check out. I’d highly recommend anyone at Vism but especially Jebi! Her work is so vibrant and fun! I’ll be back to see her and other artists there soon!

She brought my idea to life with her artistry and she was super kind throughout our session, she gave me a blanket and chocolates and water during a 15 minute break. I love my tattoo! Vism Studio is such a good chill vibe, the lofi music they played was super calming. Recommend opting to pay for a parking lot instead of the parking meters.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my tattoo with Inno around mid October 2025. My piece was about 6×3 inches mostly grayscale but a bit of color and took roughly 3-3.5 hours. The studio was very clean and bright, and I really appreciated the calm environment and lofi music they had on! I had some scars on the area I wanted my tattoo and Inno did a great job covering up the scars with the tattoo placement.

Experiencia fantástica: I have admired Abii’s tattoos for a few years. I knew she was the one to capture my best boy for me . I was able to meet with her in Seattle and let me tell you … the best experience I have ever had with getting a tattoo. From all the wonderful and prompt correspondence in getting the design just right to the actual tattoo itself. I actually dozed as she crafted an exact replica of my best friend on my forearm. It’s perfect and I haven’t stopped staring at it since she finished it. The pic below I took with my phone BUT when I receive the ones she took with a real camera I will add them as well. 6 out of 5 stars.

Experiencia fantástica: I've only ever been to 2 tattoo studios but omg vism is so nice. It's calm, clean, and not overwhelming. If you want a silent tattoo experience this is the place. My artist was Jebi and she was great, very friendly and focused on creating a beautiful tattoo. This was my biggest tattoo so far and it was also the most painful (but that is no fault to the artist just my nerves and body reaction). It was an easy process and Jebi even placed a blanket on my legs so it was comforting and cozy :). The tattoo came out soooo good! I couldn't believe how well and fast it healed. I was also able to pick up a print of a pasta bunny design, it also came framed and even with its own tote bag. The studio has many other incredible artists in different styles so it's worth a look. It's across the street from One Santa Fe and I'm pretty sure you can't use their parking structure? Though, I parked past SCI-art a few blocks down for free. Overall, great experience and now I have a piece of Jebi art forever on me.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Jebi at Vism was truly exceptional. She was incredibly responsive through the initial booking / consultation phase and was very clear and transparent to get things up and running seamlessly. For the design of my tattoo, I simply can’t say enough wonderful things. I sent her a few inspiration pictures and gave her some background on my idea, and she absolutely NAILED the design. She sent it a few days ahead of time as well so we had time to make any small tweaks as needed (in my case though there were almost none as she totally took my input and brought it to life in a way that was true to her style). As for the day of the tattoo, she was punctual and profession, and so kind and welcoming. I really can’t say enough great things about Jebi! As a real endorsement of my own review, I’ve already booked back in to see her for my next tattoo following such a positive first experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I found Abii via her Instagram page where I relentlessly stalked her work. I took the plunge and emailed for an appointment. Beautiful, uber clean spa-like tattoo salon with chill instrumental jazz music in the background situated in the Arts District of LA. I chose to do a watercolor floral wrist bangle tattoo with my children’s birth flowers and my late dog’s birth flower. Scheduling and design info was submitted via email to Abii’s assistant, Kiana. You describe your idea in detail, submit similar works if you have screenshots or photos. Kiana was sure to ask clarifying questions. You will receive your design the day before and can make up to 3 minor edits (hence the ‘describe in DETAIL and SUBMIT PHOTOS’ tip) I was thrilled with my design and even asked Abii is sign her work (because I’m such a huge fan). Pre-tattoo instructions are emailed with the final design. My bangle took 4 hours.

She took the time to ask about him and really captured his spirit. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and the stories behind each piece. It’s a tattoo I’ll cherish forever. Experiencia fantástica: Eden was fantastic! This was only my second tattoo (my first coordinating with the artist/studio, myself), and she made it easy! She also took the original design I gave her and made it her own with amazing attention to detail (also incorporating some minor adjustments I requested)! Definitely chose the right artist for this piece! For the overall experience: the instructions and coordination with Eden were clear from the beginning, the experience day-of was clean, professional, and comfortable, and the aftercare instructions were on-point! I would strongly recommend Eden and Vism Studio for a truly professional experience.

Jebi designed this tattoo for me around the East Asian tradition that the red thread symbolizes a destined connection between souls. I now have a piece of my dog tattooed on me forever as a constant reminder we were destined for each other; she couldn’t have done a more perfect job. There was something about how she connects with her clients and truly captures the spirit of the pets she memorializes that I knew I had to have her do Roadie’s paw portrait. After a little back and forth to align schedules, I flew down to the studio. That was six months ago and the piece healed amazing well and looks as vibrant today as it did when first applied. Experiencia fantástica: I was looking for a Korean artist who could represent my vision when it came to my life and my fur babies and Jebi really came through ! Her illustration style is perfect if you have fur babies and really captures a different style of portraits (kind of like an illustration book if you like that art style!). The colors were very representative of a Korean hanbok, especially the old school kind I wore when I was younger ☺️ highly recommend and the studio is right in heart of arts district (would definitely recommend ride share or picking a daytime session to avoid the crowd) UPDATE 3/30 We worked together since I was looking for a simple norigae design with persimmons. Persimmon is part of my family name and I like to express my Korean-American culture. Such a beautiful job and the colors were perfect. UPDATE 4/20 Added more! Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful tattoo studio in DTLA. My tattoo was designed and done by Abii. It is absolutely gorgeous. Her attention to detail is amazing. She takes her time to make sure your tattoo is perfect and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. The Studio is very modern and clean, in the middle of DTLA close to some of my fave restaurants, plenty of parking options (I used the parking garage across the street), easy to find. The guy at the front desk was very helpful, as was Abii's assistant. Highly recommend this studio and Abii for your next beautiful tattoo!

I have been to several different tattoo studios throughout the years, and while each one has its own appeal, this is by far the most organized, clean, professional, and not to mention aesthetically gorgeous studio I have ever been to. You can tell how much care and thought has been put into each detail, which translates into the work that they provide. The process with Ria was very smooth and professional from start to finish. The email exchanges for scheduling, tattoo design, follow up, etc were very timely and detailed. This was especially appreciated, as the tattoo I got from her was deeply meaningful. I could not have gone to a better artist to do this memorial piece of my sweet German Shepherd, who passed a few months ago, for me. Ria has a big heart for animals, and it translates through her incredible work. I travelled from out of state to get this done from her, and I plan on coming back for many more. Experiencia negativa: I am writing about my experience with Ria Kim at Vism studio. 2/5 stars. Traveled to LA with high expectations for this tattoo. -1 a star for lack of communication. I had booked the appointment well in advanced. Hadn't heard from anyone, so the week of appointment I reached out and let them know I hadn't heard from anyone. They emailed me saying sorry someone was supposed to let you know your artist will be reaching out two days before your appointment. At that point I'm like ok that feels very last minute but whatever. Just overall lack of communication. -1 a star for overall customer experience. The whole experience felt very transactional. Again no true conversation with the tattoo artist prior to appointment. She didn't ask any specifics on what details I wanted to capture for my tattoo or anything. 2 days before she sends the designs and asks which one I wanted out of 4 different variations. Doesn't ask if there's any changes I wanted to make. So I chose one thinking ok maybe day of appointment we will go over any changes etc. Nope, day I get there she basically has all the sizes already pre printed in the stencils and asks me to pick a size. I said I wanted it to be the actual size of my dogs paw print she asks if I brought I said no. This is something that should have been communicated to me prior to the appointment. I had to guesstimate the size of my dogs paw and pick a size so I did. She did not conversate at all, didn't ask anything about my dog not even her name, nothing. It was just very odd experience. Didn't ask if I had any questions prior to starting or anything. Just picked a size stuck the stencil on my arm and she started. Didn't mention how long it was going to take. Didn't ask if I was good during the tattoo or if I needed a break or use the restroom or anything. -1 star for overall tattoo quality. A bit of a disappointment. My dogs nose shape and nostril shape are off, more so the nose shape. One nostril is a bit different from the other. I provided 2 photos but maybe I should have provided more but I didn't think it was going to be a problem since her other paw portrait tattoos have looked spot on. The eyes were supposed to be in color but it's not really apparent (Hazel) I can live with it. If it was a matter of size of the tattoo then it should have been communicated. I get you can only fit so much amount of detail in a small tattoo but it's still something that should be communicated. Ultimately, what bugs me the most is the inconsistent/botched nose shape. One side of the nose is longer/more pointed than the other. I guess I just got unlucky. I wanted to love it. Hindsight, all 3 things could have been better. Customer experience is very important. It shouldn't have felt last minute/rushed or transactional. The tattoo took 2 hours and I paid $1k which wasn't cheap but for that amount of money the flaws with the tattoo shouldn't have happened. In fact I think it's pretty overpriced for the amount of time and effort that went into it. They don't exactly give you a price. They just give you a price range. Anyway, I hope Ria and studio can learn from this and provide better customer experience. Getting a tattoo is a special moment, especially when it's of something very meaningful like your pet. Make the experience count.

Experiencia fantástica: E.nal is incredible! My session lasted 8.5 hours, and she was highly dedicated, only taking short 10-minute breaks before getting right back to work. From bringing my vision to life with ink to her precise technique, I couldn’t be happier with the result. The tattoo healed beautifully with no harsh scarring. The shop was spotless and professional, making the entire experience even better. I’m beyond impressed and will definitely be returning for all my future tattoos!

Experiencia fantástica: After seeing that E.Nal was back from New York I was finally able to get tattooed by E.Nal back in mid Feb 2025 and the tattoo exceeded my expectations; I absolutely love it. I requested a Studio Ghibli sleeve and trusted E.Nal for the final design. Emailing her and her Assistant were very easy and they were quick to respond. They answered any and all questions/concerns that I had. The studio is huge! Easy to find where they are located at, Parking is in DTLA so everyone should know how that is. My tattoo took two days and E.Nal made sure I was comfortable and if I had any issues with pain, and took breaks as needed, they do have snacks and offered water. I ran into zero issues and will be definitely be coming back for more tattoos from E.Nal.

She gave me breaks, talked me through the process, gave me a cute stuffed pig to squeeze when it hurt too badly. And the results were absolutely stunning - exactly what I wanted. Flying across the country for this was worth every penny. The artists clearly care deeply about their work and their clients. I’m so glad this was my first tattoo experience and I’ll cherish this piece forever. ETA: came back for another piece and I’m just enamored. I love it so much!!

Given her minimalist style, it’s really impressive that she was able to capture key features and quirks for each of my dogs. She was really easy to work with and kept me calm since I was pretty nervous. The Vism studio itself is in a beautiful space in the Arts District. It’s really modern and big so you have all the room you need to be comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend both Jebi and the studio.

She was able to accommodate my last minute request and even came in on a day the studio was closed. I sent a picture I wanted and she suggested adding some color dots which she let me know were her signature. I actually really liked the addition and agreed to move forward with the design. Parking was easy. Finding the location wasn’t an issue. The shop was very clean. We spent a decent amount of time on figuring the size and placement and talking through any concerns. She was very open to my thoughts while giving her expert option. I am extremely happy with how it turned out and would without a doubt work with Jebi again!
