Experiencia negativa: I heard about a badass artist Nickey, that's new to this shop. She has outstanding eye for color an detail. It's a shame, this shop makes you so uncomfortable now.

Experiencia fantástica: Rushed through my piercing, didn't give me any details about aftercare. When doing the piercing, he didn't sterilize my belly button either. Not to mention, the night before when I attempted to stop by 45 minutes before closing, while the 'open' sign was on and staff was sitting in the front area, they claimed they were closed and had an unpleasant and unwelcoming attitude. I chose to give the place another try due to my cousin saying good things, but I feel it was a unprofessional situation.

Experiencia negativa: Husband stopped by on a Saturday to confirm the business was open on Sundays at 1200 and was told it would be open at 1200 on Sunday and to book the appointment online. Booked online for 1200, paid the deposit, received a confirmation of the appointment. At 1030 on Sunday, received a reminder text about the appointment at 1200. Showed up at the shop at noon, waited until 1245, and no one ever showed up. We ended up going to a different shop. It’s 1500 now, and still no one has reached out from Artistic Pleasures.

Experiencia negativa: I must say, seeing all the positive reviews had me and my friends SO excited and hopeful for a great experience… unfortunately, it ended up being the opposite. All three of us got piercings, and the lady who did them seemed almost annoyed that she had business. She wasn’t welcoming at all, and her attitude really threw off the whole experience. Friend #1: She got an industrial and a helix. She originally wanted them on one side, but because she had a previous piercing there that wasn’t healed yet, she switched sides. That part was understandable. What wasn’t okay was the lack of communication—she didn’t show her the placement beforehand, didn’t explain where it was going, and just pierced without confirming anything. There was also no mirror available, so we had to use our phones. We later found out someone had stolen it, but still… a piercing studio should always have a way for clients to see what’s being done. Now, as of this morning, she already had to take out her industrial because she was unhappy with the placement. It’s incredibly disappointing to spend money on something and end up removing it less than a day later simply because the piercer didn’t take the time to explain or show proper placement. She also hated the placement of her helix, but since she can stack onto it, she’s keeping that one. Me: I got a tragus and a helix. They’re fine, and I’m pleased with them. Friend #3: She got a helix and also had to use my phone as a mirror. She was telling the piercer exactly where she wanted it, and instead of working with her, the lady kept being difficult about the placement. It got to the point where my friend was basically about to say “forget it” because the attitude was just unnecessary. And the crazy part? When she was paying up front, she pointed to the top of her ear — the exact spot she wanted pierced — and asked the guy if that counted as a helix. He literally said, “Oh, I don’t know,” and had to Google it in front of her. He looked it up, confirmed that yes, it was a helix… but then she gets to the back and the piercer tells her, “No, it’s not.” The inconsistency and attitude were honestly ridiculous. Overall: We left extremely disappointed. A piercing studio should be welcoming, communicative, and knowledgeable — not dismissive, confused, or argumentative. Between the missing mirror, the lack of clear explanations, the staff Googling what a helix is, and the piercer arguing with us about placement, the whole experience felt unprofessional. And on top of that, my friend had to take out her industrial less than a day later because the placement was wrong, meaning she basically wasted her money. When people are paying for something permanent on their bodies, the bare minimum should be clarity, consistency, and respect — none of which we experienced.

Experiencia negativa: I got my Ashly everybody was so nice but when they did my piercing they didn’t tell me they pierced it lower till after it was done . I was ok with it because I thought maybe it would look better when the swelling go down but no I feel like it’s too low and I get it everybody has a different face anatomy and I would have probably understood if she had told me this BEFORE the piercing was done but no she told me after. I tried calling them for it to be redone for free since they communicated it after I paid and after the piercing was already done but no they said I would have to pay again and I’m not about to pay for something that wasn’t my fault at the end of the day it’s still in the middle of my lip jus low and I like it but I don’t because this is not what I wanted.

Experiencia negativa: So I went to get back dermal tops replaced after I lost a diamond . (Didn't get the dermal peircing here) After 20 minutes of torture being asked to change position three time being denied my service dog since I thought it would be quick left her with my boyfriend in the car and did I add ,drove three hours , they said no and I said I need her, my heart rate (blood pressure)goes so high i go into seizures. And at this point I was worked up, I asked to leave they offered a couple other people and I said no. Terrible experience, unprofessional and definitely the shop wasn't clean . Did refund me but obviously they are very limited in what they can do. Do not recommend. Unless you enjoy pain , Over the top pain

Experiencia fantástica: where do I even start to talk about the amazing experience? i’m 15 and went to get my nose pierced for the first time, we walked in and were immediately greeted in a great manner and with absolute respect, they joked around with us and were so kind!! when I went to the back to get my nose done, Boogie (I believe his name was) explained everything in detail and was very reassuring. he never forced me to calm down or was even annoyed when I was nervous. when he pierced it, he was quick and reassuring once again, explaining to me that the blood was a normal thing, even if it hurt that was alright, etc.. when he finished, I was extremely lightheaded due to all the nervousness and he was so quick to hop off his chair and help me lay down, rushing to go get some water. he continued asking if I was alright and even got some water for me, telling me to take my time and there was no rush for me to get used the new stud. before we left, he explained to me how to take care of it, the best ways to clean it, the best way to let it heal, etc etc.. overall great place and if I ever consider getting another piercing, that’ll be the first place I go!!! (ps: they love their google reviews!!)

We spur of the moment decided to look up where I can get a piercing and found Artistic Pleasures. Everyone at Artistic pleasures were such amazing and genuine people. I went in for a belly piercing and they have an amazing apprentice, Chey, who did my piercing. I’ve had my belly pierced before and she PERFECTLY did my piercing in the exact spot I had it in before. After my piercing Boogie talked to me about how they accept Afterpay. YALL!!!!! Don’t have the money at this exact moment? Don’t fret, after pay that!!! I was able to get my Harry Potter tattoo that I been wanting, but I haven’t got it because I’ve been skeptical about who I wanted to do it, NICKYYY, my girl Nicky did my tattoo and it came out absolutely amazing!!! I’m so in love with everything I walked out of that shop with. I wish I could rate this a million stars.
