Experiencia fantástica: I got a Flash at Iron Lotus in November from Jesse if the Flamel symbol from the Anime Full Metal Alchemist. He did such a great job I knew I had to get another from him for my 4th tattoo. While looking through his book and FB his work on reds/yellows/golds and honestly making tattoos look like they glow. I knew I had to reach out to him for a tattoo based on a favorite video game, Journey! Every other artist is extremely talented too. I enjoy seeing their work on FB and Instagram. Can't wait to get more tatts there with diff artists! They are a safe, open and affirming place for LGBTQ+ which I greatly appreciate :)

Experiencia positiva: Went in to ask about walk ins and the first lady to greet us was great energy and super sweet exactly what you would expect/want from a tattoo parlor! But when the second lady came up and asked about our tattoos the lady who talked to us didnt listen to what i personally wanted and told me there was too much for my tattoo and i needed an appointment- (i only wanted lineart and flat color) and when it came to a backup i wanted something the size of my palm and she told me i needed to go bigger… i didnt want to go bigger- her tone was flat and kinda extremely rude when telling us about what would happen if i got tatted with numbing cream saying “if your tattoo heals like shit thats on you”. Im aware of possible adverse reactions to some numbing creams and I don't appreciate the way she came off and i don’t feel comfortable being tattooed here due to that negative energy.

I’ve been tattooed by Jeremiah, Kristin and Trent, gotten to know them so well during our long sessions. I’ve lived around the world, but they’re unmatched. They’re great people, always make sure you’re comfortable, they’re clean/sanitary, and really just have extensive talent. I’ve never felt like they’ve been unfair in their pricing-but remember, you pay for the quality! Their work has held up great over the years. I always get compliments on my sleeves and wedding band tattoo especially. They certainly know how to saturate color!

The artists and clients had always been joyful to converse with and make the time fly by. Their monthly flash sheets are a fun bucket list item, the custom designs are thought through and executed, and throwing in a piercing every once in a while is always fun. Shout out to my cat lady, Morgan!

One time I ended up not feeling good when getting work done and starting being sick and passing out. Morgan and the team were quick to respond to my health concerns, helped me come out of it and quickly aided me with a sugar tablet. Proceeded to help me then after some time asked if I wanted to continue or not. I’ve had worst experiences getting my blood drawn at the dr office and feeling faint, Iron Lotus team did a wonderful job! Not to mention I’ve been happy with every tattoo I’ve gotten so far.

She worked with me on size and placement so it fit well in a place I could see everyday. HIGHLY recommend her! My husband and I are returning for more in July!

I got lettering, a simple design, and a very detailed one (3 in total) and they are all exactly what I was hoping for! The process went smoothly and she helped me decide on sizing and placement. The shop is comfortable and clearly sanitary. I’ve gone for their flash tattoos too. I was told the 3 that I got were also designed by Kristin, but I was tattooed by another artist. That experience was great too! I’m planning on coming back again soon for more! Highly recommended this place. They all do fantastic work.

I did 3 sessions with Trent doing a cover up on my back...best art work ever, I've even had other tattoo artists ask who did it. I didn't mind waiting 6 months as I knew great artists are busy and hard to come by. I brought my daughter in to get her nose pierced and it was also a great walk in process.

Because of the way they talked him through everything, he’s been proud to take his aftercare seriously—which says a lot! We’ll continue to visit Iron Lotus for all of our tattoo and piercing needs. Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend Iron Lotus to anyone even “semi-local” to get a piercing or tattoo! I have not personally gotten a tattoo here, but I have seen several artists hard at work with happy clients every time I have been here! I first came to Iron Lotus per the recommendation of a friend for a piercing. I was extremely nervous but Cat took the time to answer all of my questions and make sure that I was totally comfortable before going any further with the piercing. Unfortunately, I sometimes have a very delayed reaction to piercings, tattoos, shots, etc and almost pass out. I have been rushed out of other shops before and it almost caused serious problems, so I am always nervous and anxious about telling artists this, even though I typically just need a few extra minutes to sit before leaving to make sure my blood sugars are good. Literally EVERYONE in the shop assured me it was no big deal and even offered to get me a drink or snack if I needed it. I had several questions during the healing process and every single question I had was answered in a polite, respectful and informative manner that didn’t belittle me or make me feel dumb for asking questions. Overall, my experience was so great that I have made the 1 hour drive several times for a few more piercings and recommend it to anyone who asks. TLDR: Iron Lotus is GREAT. Professional, respectful, informative, knowledgeable, very caring and their clients safety and well being always seem to be #1 on their list. 1000000/10 do recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I have had nothing but amazingly positive experiences with Iron Lotus. Iron Lotus as a whole: When you walk in, it smells like a sterile doctor's office, as it should. If a shop doesn't smell clean, then turn around and leave. The counter staff is delightful, and helpful. If you have an appointment (which I have always had), they'll direct you to fill out an online consent form, then you'll get to your artist. The space has TV's to keep you entertained while you're there. The chair/table you'll sit in to receive your tattoo are pretty comfortable, I've almost fallen asleep on it while getting worked on. My artist: Kristian Parlier is AMAZING. I went to her after a fiend of mine went to Kristian to coverup/modify a very poorly done rib tattoo. The original work way very painful for my friend, and I could tell it was extremely heavy handed. My friend raved about how Kristian had a light touch and was no longer to go back to tattoo artists. So, I started following Kristian on Instagram (@nox.luxtattoo) and waited for her to have some time she was looking to book. My first tattoo with her was my Raid the Arcade cassette tape. I couldn't believe how light her touch is, and how amazing my experience with her was. I am rather heavily tattooed, and she's in my top 3 artists to work with. I've added photos of my tattoos, as they were fresh. The Tape healed amazingly. The Notes in the other one needed to be touched up a bit, because of their nature, and that was covered in the original pricing. All said, 10/10. I recommend Iron Lotus and Kristian to anyone who asks about my tattoos, most of which were done in other locations that I've lived or visited.

I tell anyone who asks me about it or is talking about getting a tattoo to go to the Iron Lotus. The first photo was the day of and the second is now. I have full intentions of getting more work done when I can as afford to do so. 10/10 would recommend. Since I originally wrote that review in 2020 I have definitely gone back and I love all the work I've gotten done there both with my piercings and tattoos. I've gotten a cover-up that's turning into a sleeve and I added a flash tattoo above my rose memorial piece. I've added some more photos to this review and I would still highly recommend 10/10. Can't wait to be able to go back again

Experiencia fantástica: Jeremiah, Cat, and gang are some of the coolest down to earth peoples, I've worked with them since probably when 1st opened at lindale getting ideas for my 1st tattoo, Trent was the one who did my 1st two tattoos he was very respectful and calmed me down when I was nervous, Cat did my tongue piercing she was down to earth and talked to me to distract me, and my legend of Zelda tattoo is amazing, sorry I forgot you name, the place is very clean they showed me the equipment before and after opening they did a very thorough cleaning, my only complaint is that sometimes it gets to hot in there, but I love you guys

Jessie’s line work is incredible and Angel was so patient with it being my first tattoo. I also got a vertical labret done here and I felt so comfortable and safe with her. Experiencia fantástica: I have 2 smaller finished tattoos from Iron Lotus, one from the owner Jeremiah during a suicide prevention charity event, and one of my Dads handwriting from Trent (looks exactly like my Dads handwriting). I love them both so much and they both have so much meaning to me. Because they did such a great on those I am in the process of getting my third tattoo from them, Trent is doing this one as well and it will take a few sessions to finish but I will say that after just the first session I am already in love with it and can’t wait to finish it out. Not only is their tattoo work amazing, their shop is clean, the employees are friendly and they listen to you to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. I have also gotten a piece done from Morgan’s Valentine’s flash sheet a while ago and loved the experience with her! The staff is awesome and there are so many talented artists in the shop, it’s worth it to go and get something you love by a team that cares!

Experiencia fantástica: My four year old (now five) had been asking for months to get her ears pierced. So for her fifth birthday we went to Lenny to get it done. Had a wonderful epierence! Lenny not only talked to me about the whole process and aftercare, but he also explained it well to my daughter in terms a five year old understood. Afterwards there were high-five, stickers, and suckers rewarded. Definitely highly recommend and will go back again. Side note: Iron Lotus was the 4th shop I had called about piercing a five year old ears who had been wanting them done and was the first one willing to do it. I'm so glad I found them unless I would have had a sad birthday girl on my hands.

I’ve watched a couple artists do their work, specifically Trent. Mind blowing to watch an insane back piece get worked on while also being tattooed. I’d happily make my four and a half hour round trip to do it again!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve gotten three pieces done by Jeremiah, they are definitely the my pieces I have and he was wonderful with making my visions come to life. Especially the one in me best friends handwriting which he did a great job getting just like hers and letting me vent about how much it meant to me. The first one I got done by him was on a last minute crunch to meet an appointment from an artist that wasn’t able to do it anymore and immediately fell in love with his work and the shop. Such a personal experience and you can tell they truly care about every piece they do and every client they serve!

Experiencia fantástica: I got my first tattoo at Iron lotus after my boyfriends mom had gotten a tribute tattoo for his dad, and let me say it was the best experience ever!! I came in nervous but Morgan quickly made me feel at home. They had movies playing and would constantly make sure I was okay and other artists would come over to see the tattoo and compliment it. She made sure all my questions were answered before I left and to reach out if anymore popped up. As soon as I left I was already thinking about my next tattoo, I would 100% recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I both got tattoos from Kristin Parlier. My husband got our son’s baby footprint and I got his side profile from an ultrasound photo, his birth flower, & name. Kristin did an absolutely wonderful job. Both the footprint and side profile look just like the original copies we showed her!!! Kristin was very friendly, kept the conversation fun, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. She also has responded to every message we’ve sent her asking about tattoos we want. We will most definitely be booking with her in the future!!! We love Iron Lotus and recommend them to all of our friends and family!
