Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience here, i went in to fix my piercing that i had done myself. He was able to fix it exactly what what i wanted. Super affordable only 35. will be coming back for other piercings.

Experiencia fantástica: Went here as a walk in for 4 ear piercings and was pierced by Daniel. Waited maybe 10 minutes max! He was super awesome and explained everything so well. I had also wanted a bottom navel piercing but he explained how i actually didn’t have the anatomy for one so it would be a pain to heal. I was thankful he told me this and didn’t just go for it because I wanted it. Guy who checked me in and rand me up was really nice too (price was very reasonable). Overall would definitely come back.

I'm going back in a few days to get my bar changed, I've been doing what he says for the healing process. It's healing nicely I think slight swelling still but I'm seriously happy. Experiencia fantástica: Our eight year old daughter wanted to get her ear’s pierced and so we decided to go to a professional piercer vs a piercing gun at a chain store. So beyond happy with our choice. Daniel was polite and professional. I was able to hold my daughter’s hand and my husband was allowed to watch. The placement was perfect and her piercings 3 weeks later are healing perfectly with no hiccups. Will be referring and going back for future piercings.

Experiencia negativa: my first time here i text the place if they take walk ins and if they are the modesto location. when i walk in the lady at the front with curly hair had the biggest moody attitude, i brushed it off and daniel did a good job on my piercing. i ask the lady about the selections of piercings they have to the side and payment method and she answered both questions with the rudest "matter of factly" tone and attitude as if it's not my first time there. even my mom was kind of side eyeing me like "what up with her?" lol to my surprise she's a manager... wow. could have confused her with just any moody cashier. a separate time i came in there was a different male manager and he was pretty cool. their prices are the best in town but sometimes they can be very unprofessional, makes you a bit uncomfortable lol. not sure if i would stop by here again anytime soon. edit: used wrong name for piercer

Experiencia fantástica: BEST BODY MOD SHOP IN TOWN! I have gotten four tattoos by Casey and three piercings by Daniel. Clean, professional, fast, friendly, and inexpensive. Casey’s line work is insane, and Daniel’s placement is flawless. $15 per piercing, and the tattoo minimum is $100 (have never spent over $175). Absolutely recommend!!!

Experiencia negativa: Got trolled so hard here. Called in to ask if they do walk ins and the price for ear piercings and gave the price $70 for piercings and studs and said walk ins are available so we agreed. Came in and I asked questions since I never got a piercing and didn’t know the procedure but neither the receptionist nor piercer wasn’t feeling it that day. Maybe I just caught them in a bad day but either way got my ears pierced quickly. However when I went to pay with my Apple Pay they said cash only AFTER I got my ears pierced and they never said anything on the phone. I asked if I can pay by credit card or Apple way and they pointed at an ATM that I couldn’t withdraw money from (since I had no debit card). So since I only had a credit card and apply pay, I had to give up my drivers license and waste about an hour walking around to and back to a gas station that didn’t do cash backs and Walgreens a mile away that I had to purchase twice and had a limit of $40 for cash. So after I walked all the way back in the Modesto summer in dress shoes (since I came from an interview) I asked them how should I pay the difference and showed me I can pay with… Venmo. …and yeah, they just made me walk an hour in the blistering heat when I could’ve just venmoed them the whole time. I debated on giving them like 2 or 3 stars cause they pierced my ears well but man walking in that Modesto heat for 1 hour in dress shoes to get cash I wasn’t informed or needed was not the best experience. So yeah… TLDR: bring cash.

Experiencia fantástica: Emerald Tattoo & Piercing is the way to go! I have gotten 5 piercings there. My bellybutton, nose, helix, and my girls pierced there. They have all healed wonderfully! The piercer is very nice and walks you through the steps of what he is doing and how he'll do it. He is patient if you need it, will answer any questions you may have, and is overall really good at his job.

Experiencia fantástica: Daniel is a wonderful piercer! He is kind and knowledgeable, he made sure to do an anatomy check before piercing my septum. He did a wonderful job. He also pierced my nieces ear lobes last year and we had a wonderful experience! I highly recommend seeing Daniel for any piercing! They even offer free snacks and water as soon as you come in.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing! I’ve gone for multiple piercings; nipples, septum, Tragus, industrial, nose. I’ve also got three tattoos done by Mitch which were are amazing and I love them! They have good customer service and are always helpful. Anyone who says otherwise are probably lying or they’re 12 and tried to get something done with out their mommy or daddy.

Experiencia positiva: Tattoo shop with a large waiting room but only 1 tattoo artist, and one piercing artist? They were friendly, but seemed over priced for tattoo work. We were gonna get a tattoo, but changed mind after hearing pricing, so my wife just got her lip re-pierced.

Experiencia fantástica: Literally the best experience ever. I took my 8-year-old there to get his ears pierced. I called ahead of time to make sure I had the appropriate document since he is a minor. The front desk was super nice and friendly and offered him a snack. The piercer was so patient .My child is autistic he Made sure he felt comfortable and asked for his input it was so freaking sweet.Would definitely recommended.

I sent them my design before hand and connected it with the soonest artist. Also how friendly and open they were while we waited in lobby for my appointment. Mitch did an amazing job on my tattoo. The outline, the shading and the My wife also got her piercing done walking in while I was getting my tattoo. The manager Tristan was awesome to work with. There is water and snacks available. The shop aesthetic is spookily beautiful with a vintage touch. Really appreciate the atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: I came here to get my daughter's ears pierced she's 8 years old and they did an excellent job she felt comfortable and had an easy time her piercings never got infected they were very informative and they supplied the cleaning solution for her ears

Experiencia negativa: I went here a few times and I recieved a nostril piercing, which went very well, and new gauges and septum rings. However, I have multiple problems I experienced coming here. 1. On their instagram page, they used AI art for a trend about their workers in a package type style. This trend is popular because it normalizing AI and replace real artists. Despite being a tattoo shop with talented artists working for them, they decided to use AI instead. Its unacceptable that AI is used at a tattoo/piercing shop. 2. I went in to get a clicker septum ring. I specifically asked for a clicker, I looked at the clicker rings and asked for one. Instead, they tried to give me a completely different septum ring and tried to sell me a “semi-permanent” septum ring. I did not understand when Daniel asked to put it on for me when a clicker is easy to take on and off. But when he mentioned it was semi-permanent, I got cautious and told them I wanted a clicker. The lady at the front desk told me it was not a clicker like it was obvious. I had to repeat myself what I wanted after I told Daniel and the lady what I wanted once I walked in. Because of this interaction, they nearly sold me a ring that I did not ask for after repeating myself multiple times what I wanted. I do agree that Daniel is a skilled piercer, but I do not trust him after the interaction we had about the septum clickers. I know he does not ask for any information about healing times for your piercings. I know my friend had his lobes stretched and he ended up nearly passing out from the pain. It could’ve been prevented if Daniel asked how long hes been stretching his current lobes. I do respect that he has his way of stretching, but this happened to me where Daniel did not ask me any questions when I stretched my lobes with him. I trust a piercer who will ask questions and communicate. Considering that this shop has used AI and does not communication, I will not be going to Emeralds again. (FYI: Whoever is running the social media account on instagram, stop stalking my friend by following them over and over again. It’s creepy.)

Experiencia fantástica: I loved coming here. They got me in for my tattoo super quick and the whole process in general was fast. Customer service was great, nice people working there and Drain my tattoo artist was very nice and did an amazing job on my first tattoo. 10/10 recommend him. He made sure I liked my placement and tattoo every step of the way. Overall good results and I will be going back. Thank you Emerald tattoo for making my first tattoo a great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I went here two weeks ago to get my belly pierced and the process went by smoothly. They offered little snacks that we were able to eat while we wait and have a little something to hold us over which I thought was nice. The piercer that helped me was kind. Before I was pierced they made sure to go over the procedure with me and answer any questions I had as well. The pricing was good too.

I showed up two days later and got my tattoo done by Taylor. She really knows what she doing s doing, a true artist. Experiencia negativa: Ive come here for a tongue piercing and it was amazing customer service. However, I seen on their instagram page that they did this “ad” for their artists but it was clearly ai. As artists themselves, especially tattoo artists, its genuinely disappointing to see. Not only is the usage of ai disappointing to the artistic community, however ive seen 3 people ask if the post was ai, their comments were deleted, and after I had asked as well, they simply deleted the post entirely. Not one effort to take responsibility, clarify, or apologize for it. For piercings, this place is great but id think before going here for a tattoo which might honestly end up using ai for their stencils and everything. Can’t really be too sure with their clear lack of confrontation lol.

Experiencia negativa: Loved my piercing but sad to see the company using ai art for advertisement; specifically on Instagram. It’s heartbreaking that a group of talented artists would use ai to promote their business, using ai art that takes the hard work from true artists and blends it into the mess we see now. What’s the worst part is that whoever is managing the account is taking down any comments regarding it being ai, even simple questions like,” is this ai art?” As artists how could you do such a disservice to the artist community?

Experiencia fantástica: The atmosphere here was truly amazing. I was greeted with new ideas of my tattoo. The artist (Mitch) explained to me the tattoo layout. He recommend a couple different options. I went with his idea and my tattoo turned out to be awesome. I was truly impressed. I highly seeking artist from any Emerald shop. For a first shoulder piece , it’s what I imagined. Emerald tattoo in Modesto has my vote.

Literally 0 pain or irritation or redness just a few days after the piercing and currently at 4 weeks of healing they are looking and feeling great. Daniel does an amazing job!!! Anyway while I was there I thought why not get a new piercing and I decided on my left tragus. It’s was New Years Eve, Daniel was the piercer. It was quick, painless, he talks you through it and he was very informative about aftercare. Overall it was a friendly experience. They even messaged me a few days later to check on my new piercing. It was a pleasant surprise and I thought very cool thing of them (Ian) to do. I would definitely recommend Emerald if it’s your first piercing or your 12th like I got that day!!

And I should've listen to Daniels Warning, the one that did the piercing because its been getting infected and it makes me feel like an amature for adding the hoop and not letting it heal all the way but the experience was a 9/10 and would come again! (I just Copied and paste because I was lazy but I highly recommend going there, the reason why I put 9/10 is because im a pussy when it comes with pain, obviously your gonna feel pain because their literally stabbing a needle through your skin, but overall it was a really good experience!)

Experiencia fantástica: I've gotten two pieces done so far with Emerald and Mitch specifically and both times went great! Specifically today, it was my first Friday the 13th flash event and I never felt like I waited for too long. I was also treated with respect and care and witnessed everyone calling and coming in receiving the same treatment. It was truly a great vibe both waiting and in the chair getting my piece done. Mitch made sure I was comfortable and was joking along during the session that immediately calmed down my nerves from the pain. I was also assured that my spouse could come in immediately after me (they were watching our kiddo at home) and the staff treated them with the same respect and care. I'm glad to have finally found a home spot for tattoos.

I’ve been wanting my Eyebrow for a bit and I had multiple friends who have been to this shop for their eyebrows and they recommended it. I was super nervous until I actually met Daniel and my fears started to all go away! He is great at explaining and making you feel really comfortable with his friendly demeanor. There was a worker with him who he told me would explain to me the piercings and she did a really good job explaining the aftercare process and just process of the whole piercing. It was very painless and overall a great experience. My friends both got nose piercings and theres look great. The only thing was they put the wrong jewelry in for my friend but they were so so professional about it and apologized a ton and even offered the piercing to be changed out for free in a couple weeks, so she really was not mad at all about. We all love our piercings! Overall it was such a good experience! I will definitely be coming back for many more piercings!

Experiencia negativa: “Cheapest prices and best piercer in town” is what the guy at the front desk said. I asked for a belly button piercing and it’s above my belly button. Got it taken out thank god.

Daniel, the piercer, did a great job with my eyebrow and I'm seriously considering getting more. This will be my go-to shop. Very welcoming. I definitely want to come back with friends.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm beyond satisfied with my experiences with Emerald. My first was just popping in for an emergency earring change out like a year ago. That alone made me decide I'd come back for my next piercing and I got to do that about 2 weeks ago. From walking in to walking out, I've never felt more listened to or cared for in this industry. As someone who tends to pass out from piercings, they knew exactly what to do to make sure I was NOT going to do that. The communication is clear and the people are super cool. I'll 1000% be going back for my next piercing!

She got exactly what I wanted and made it work with my existing ink in that area she was super nice and really talented. I could not recommend Emerald Tattoo in Modesto more!

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional workers will lie to you about what they can’t do simply because they want to profile people oh well you lost money and a good review Looked at their reviews before coming which must be fake Forsure family/friends not even 5 minutes in workers are talking about their own clients why talk about people who keep you in business ? Trashy business with fake reviews I wouldn’t recommend going here they will just tell you anything just to not pierce you I got pierced elsewhere no problem
