Experiencia fantástica: I got my first piercings at the mall (which wasn't a great experience as they got infected multiple times), so ghis was my first time at an actual piercing place. They did awesome! I just got a simple upper lobe piercing in each ear. They were super speedy, super sanitary, and just plain awesome people. The guy I had (didn't catch his name) was really nice and liked to joke around. All-around great experience for a newbie like me! Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Great piercing service with friendly and very professional staff - got my daith done today Some may view tattoo/piercing shops as being more intimidating atmospheres, but they’re very kind and welcoming staff with a tidy and quiet waiting room with a calm atmosphere The price of the piercings is available on their website and it INCLUDES the basic hypoallergenic titanium jewelry which has a variety of colors included (unless u decide to buy a different style or material) The price is also on the cheaper side compared to other places in town (most of which don’t include the price of jewelry), on top of that - the service is better than anywhere else I’ve gotten pierced The piercings are mostly just walk-in basis, although you could probably make an appointment via phone call (no bookings available via their website) They work quickly, carefully, and effectively so even a line won’t last long Piercings are done in a little side room and you sit back on a chair/bed similar to a doctors exam table with a reclined back They are also very clean with everything (including the table) being sanitized and/or replaced between clients

Experiencia fantástica: Coming back to edit from the future: I continued my business here and got a tattoo done by Mark and an anti-brow piercing done by Ben and I wanted to come back and add that everything about the way they do their work is also amazing! Amazing final results, perfect procedures and skillsets, and wonderful pricing compared to some other places I’ve been. ($85 for surgical titanium surface bar and the piercing procedure itself???! YES PLEASE!) I've started visiting this shop recently and have been in a handful of times and so far every instance has been wonderful ! Currently I have only purchased jewelry; but based off of the very welcoming, patient, laid back, and willing-to-educate attitude of the staff members I have interacted with, I know I would likely come back to this shop if I get the craving to get more additions to my pincushion face :) They have a large jewelry selection that includes affordable options if you're in the need for something immediately, or even quality titanium if your body happens to be picky like me. This is one of the only shops in town where I've managed to find a wide selection of decent quality pincher-type jewelry as well, which is another huge plus. (they also have standard plugs/tunnels for stretched lobes too, even sizes above 25MM !!) The staff has been super informative when presented with concerns about jewelry allergies, stretching practices, and at times I've received discounts when purchasing multiple pieces of jewelry at once. It keeps it affordable, and keeps me returning ! Overall, the customer service is excellent, areas look clean, the jewelry selection is wide and affordable, and it seems like the staff is focused on creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. 10/10

Experiencia negativa: Rude. I emailed asking for input on a spine tattoo, where i mentioned my indifference on a certain part. Got a email saying if i didn’t have the money not to do it, was unexpected because i mentioned my indifference and my concern for the time frame of the piece. I had one tattoo already done here and that was great but the email response really set me off.

Experiencia fantástica: came in today to get my first piercings pierced after getting recemknded her by some people at my work! I talked to Ben and told him I wanted to get get an eyebrow, nose, and second lobes done on both my ears, but I would be moving for college soon so I wasnt sure if getting them all right away was a good idea. Ben explained that its healthier to only get 2 at a time done, especially since im moving soon and would be stressed. ben told me i should be fine to get more done in a few weeks after initial healing is done. so I decided I wanted to have my eyebrow and nose done today. it was funny though, someone came in while I was filling out the paperwork to get a piercing fixed (think it fell out in her sleep) so he took her back quickly to help her while I was busy. apperently she had bad piercing anxiety so was understandably freaking out a little. but I could here everything so im just standing out there waiting with my mild needle anxiety going "omg what am I getting myself into." it was honestly hilarious looking back. anyways, my piercings went great! Ben helped calm my nerves a little with some jokes. both of them were done quick and the placement is perfect. I dont think I was in there for more than 20 minutes. and it was good that he also made sure everything was safe with me not getting to many at once.

You don't find a lot of tattoo or piercing shops that are walkins only im a Truck driver and I delivered in the area and was sitting most of the day so I found a place I can get a piercing at why not right I didn't catch the gentleman's name, but he did. My dermal piercing switched out my eyebrow piercing, and I bought gauges. He was super knowledgeable, so funny and just laid back. I was 100% continue to come back to this place when I'm ever in the area again!

Experiencia negativa: had an awful experience today, although i recognize this is a tattoo shop, the piercer was unnecessarily cussing and had seemed annoyed. when i first got the piercing done, it had gotten infected bad enough to the point of needing antibiotics, even after all aftercare was done throughly. they need to know their demographic and adjust how they speak to different customers to remain professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had five piercings done at Electric Crayon over the years (nostrils and nipples). I had them redo one nipple after it healed, and unfortunately it was a little crooked because I flinched during the piercing. I went in to have them take a second-look, and they were very understanding and helpful. I ended up not having the piercing redone, but it was such a relief to know that they were there to help if it bothered me too much. I made the mistake of going to a different shop to have the second side of my double nostril done because Electric Crayon is closed on Sundays. It was crooked, like way off, and I didn't flinch! I tried to live with it, but eventually I called to inquire about having it redone. This other shop was unkind, unprofessional, and unapologetic. I won't make the mistake of going anywhere but Electric Crayon in the future! Thank you guys for your wonderful customer service. It builds trust with the community

I came in there after getting a terrible piercing somewhere else and the kind man who helped me (sorry I can’t remember his name!) but he was so kind to help me and re-pierce my nose and was so helpful!! I will always go back to electric crayon. So worth the money and the people are awesome and are helpful to every single customer. It was so busy but they took the time to greet and ask each person questions. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my nostril pierced by Ben. I’ve had my nostrils pierced before by someone else at a different shop and it was a nightmare and so painful. My experience with Ben was the opposite. I didn’t feel a thing. My eyes didn’t even water which is unusual for a nose piercing. So painless I forgot it was there and absentmindedly smacked it already love the placement. Ben is approachable and funny. Can’t wait to get the chain from my nostril to my ear once it’s healed! Will be back for sure. I always have the best piercing experiences at the Electric Crayon.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a walk in twice. Both times excellent service! Ben did a few piercings on my left ear and I mentioned I dreaded having a medical procedure as they were going to make me remove all my piercings. He said to just stop by before and they’ll remove, then stop by after and they’ll put back in for free! The 2nd time I went in, Dan did a few piercings on my right ear. I asked some questions about getting my tongue re-pierced later. He took a look so as to answer my questions. He found out my tongue was still pierced all these years, yet the last piercer I asked 10+ years ago didn’t tell me and in fact, pierced right next to my original piercing telling me he couldn’t pierce through scar tissue. He took my money and potentially created a hazardous piercing and created lasting pain so as I ended up removing the piercing thinking I could never have the comfort and placement of my original piercing. Dan changed all that! He was so excited for me and pissed off at the piercer (in another state) who did all the above. So, I finally got my original pierced tongue back. All thanks to Dan! Plus, as with Ben, he offered to change out my new piercings to the other new earrings I bought for later. For free (the changing out). So - great place. They give good advice (Dan said one of my piercings would take a while to heal compared to others) and make sure you are well informed. They also offer extras over and above. Love this place!

Experiencia negativa: I was pierced by Dan Mckenzie a few weeks ago and my piercing is completely crooked. i got a belly button piercing which should be aligned with my natural anatomy and it is not. i’m kind of bummed because it’s not really something i can have re-pierced and is very noticeable. He had me in and out in less than 10 minutes and didn’t even have me check his placement before piercing. He overall was very chaotic and had around 5 customers with several piercings in and out in around thirty minutes. This piercing cost $60 which is even more disappointing for a crooked piercing.

Experiencia fantástica: Dan is INCREDIBLE! I have been pierced at the Electric Crayon several times over the past 5 years, always by Dan. From my nose to my nipples, and most recently my lip, Dan has made me feel so incredibly comfortable in this shop. I can’t recommend him enough! I get a bit faint with piercings, but I know I am well taken care of at the Electric Crayon. I always leave happy & well informed on how to take care of my new piercing.

Experiencia negativa: Have gone here for 7 piecings. DO NKT GET YOUR NOSE DONE HERE!!!! They all three are un even and make us hard to put in or change them. I don’t wanna wait for them to close and get them redone either. So a better job man!

Experiencia fantástica: Stopped by the closest place I could find and they saved my day. Had a piercing with a very small stud get caught and pull all the way through. Super scary. Super painful. I ran in and they were able to help me get jewelry back into a very irritated piercing with zero pain. They were super friendly, and much more organized than the place I originally got my piercing. Wish I'd gone here instead to get them done.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve only been here for piercings but this is honestly my favorite place I’ve ever gotten a piercing at. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, super nice. I did have a problem with a piercing bump that wouldn’t go away for about a month and I finally came in to ask for help and they were so very helpful. He changed my piercing out for me free of charge and gave me tips on what to do to help get the piercing bump to go away. He made sure to let me know not to hesitate coming in if I have any concerns or questions. I think it was very nice of them to do that for me. Most places would’ve charged me for this but he said they want their customers to be happy with what they paid for. I will be coming back for all my future piercings! :)

I went in for a piercing with Dan, who I had been pierced by several times years ago, only to find that his behavior is appalling rude. Much worse than it used to be. The other piercer that works there is very nice however. I would just spend my money at one of the other shops in town.

Experiencia negativa: This was the worst tattoo shop experience of mine or my wife's lives. My wife was I an accident at work about a week ago and was feeling pretty down. We went out and had some lunch and met up with my mother who suggested that she and my wife go get a piercing together. I went with for moral support. We are met at the front door of the shop by a young lady who looking very unimpressed asks " What do you want" my instinct was to turn around and walk out the door. But hoping this would cheer my wife up I simply said that my wife and mother would like to get a piercing together. The young lady walked away without saying another word to us. Then a man came from the back of the shop and said that he was the piercer an asked what they would like. My wife informed him that she had tried to get this piercing before but wasn't able to go through with it. He rolled his eyes and said " great! This is how I am going to start my day" undeterred my wife decided to go through with it. We went back and the piercer,I'm not sure of his name he never offered it, tells my wife to sit on the table. Small talk insues. He begins to pierce my wife without giving her any warning. Her leg moves and he pulls off his gloves and tells my wife that she is done and to get out and not come back! Flabbergasted at seeing a grown man throw this unprofessional tantrum. We do just that. My wife has used this shop exclusively for her tattoos, piercings and jewelry. We will never spend another dime in this shop. The level of unprofessionalism is astounding. Zero stars!

Experiencia negativa: So I spent a total of 289 bucks on 4 piercings, a 55 dollar tip just for an end result of all of my piercings to get infected. Literally my skin growing almost over the piercings. I went to go talk to the lady that had done my piercings and brought the piercings in and her first response was, “Well, I’m sure you didn’t get that done here. We don’t carry those sizes.” Baffled by first of all, the customer service… I responded, “Um yes I sure did, I was the A-hole who came in 5 minutes before close but tipped like 50 bucks.” She then kept denying it and we went back and forth on it. She then asked finally if I had a receipt and I said, “I’m sure I can find it.” I went home super disappointed, $289 bucks down the drain, no solution. Also to note, the piercings turned purple when I had taken them out to bring them in and cleaned them? I don’t think they’re supposed to do that. Later on I went through my emails and Text messages and I did in fact, find my receipt. Only in time for it to be too late to do anything about for sure. This is a company I will never come back to seeing as the customer service was very poor. Side note, my boyfriend pierced 6 piercings on my ears all for almost free. Ordered the gun on Amazon for the set of earrings and gun for about 12 bucks? Go crazy with it

Experiencia fantástica: I had a tattoo today with Tyler. He was professional and yet laid back and made the environment comfortable. He had my art work ready to go and printed numerous sizes so I could pick what I wanted and actually see it on my arm. He laid the temporary stencil and let me look at it for a little and make sure I liked the placement and size before moving forward. During the tattoo he kept a conversation with me which really helped. I felt very comfortable during the whole process. After he gave clear after care instructions and made sure I understood them. Price was just shop minimum which I felt was very fair. It didn’t even hurt as much as I thought it would which honestly a nice surprise because given where it’s placed I really thought it would be quite painful. Overall I would highly recommend Tyler. He’s easy to talk to always prepared and does a great job making his clients feel comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: I've gotten two piercings here-- a rook and a helix-- and both were great experiences. The staff is professional and personable. I'll definitely be coming back in the future. The only thing to note is that the wait for a walk-in can be a little long on weekends, so it's not a bad idea to call ahead!

He took his time getting the placement perfect and was really accommodating when I needed a glucose tablet and some water :’) Highly recommend!
