They gave me all the time I needed and made sure I didn’t feel bad about needing to take extra time! The staff were very friendly and sociable with me and my boyfriend while we were waiting which made me feel a lot better about coming to some place new, they even messaged me a couple weeks later to check up on how my tattoo was healing. Experiencia fantástica: Great piercing shop!! I went in when I was visiting some family. It was a group of three and they put all our information down and had us sit and wait. They had super cool decorations and books to look at and keep yourself entertained. We only waited about 10 minutes before they started piercing our group. They were very quick and each person took about 5 minutes including needle switching and sanitizing. I got three piercings and they all healed quickly!! Pricing was also incredible!! I only payed about 55 for a nose piercing and my seconds jewelry included. Will definitely visit again and I have already recommended it to my friends.

Experiencia negativa: This place messed up both me and my boyfriend’s piercings. My piercing rejected which I’ve never had happen before but I was willing to set that aside but they pierced my boyfriends nose at the wrong angle and after 10 months of healing the piercing we realized it wasn’t possible for a hoop ring to fit correctly. But besides all of that when we arrived multiple of the employees were outside smoking weed and when we walked past them they all got up and ran inside like it wasn’t painfully obvious they were smoking. Then the same man who had just ran from us pierced both of us. I don’t mind smoking, but when you try to be sneaky like that it gives off the wrong impression. The only reason why I have 2 stars is because their prices are really cheap. But it’s probably because the quality is trash. I would never recommend coming here

Drew is my go to artist since I enjoy the traditional style pieces. He provides top tier service. He puts in extensive effort and dedication into each piece no matter how big or small. He is very knowledgeable with his craft and makes sure each piece is tailored to fit the individual. Come in with an idea and have Drew work his magic he will not disappoint! Emerald is processional, but still feels like walking into a friend’s house! 10/10 recommend to anyone thinking of ink !

Experiencia fantástica: I reached out to the shop to schedule a tattoo to remind me of my dad, who recently passed. I felt the process was very smooth, from sharing my ideas about what I wanted and felt that the piece came out how I’d pictured in my head. I was scheduled with Ralph and he was very conscientious about using the reference pictures I’d sent and making sure I was happy with the design and placement before we started and was clear on the aftercare.

Experiencia fantástica: I got a Medusa piercing. The piercer was so good I was in and out in 5 minutes. Om a sepearare occasion, i had it pierced the first time at Emerald Ink in Elk Grove. Plus the staff was willing ti answer my questions over the phone. They have some of the best proces around for piercings and charge reasonably for jewelry. They are proffesional informative and walk you through it. I felt comfortable even though it's painful. They also have a credit company partnership for tattoos if you want to pay in installments.

Experiencia fantástica: Edit for second experience here: I finally was able to go back for another piece! I have been wanting florals all over my right leg and we started the process! Drew literally knocked it out of the park! I still have to go back to finish the shading of the flowers, but I’m blown away with the progress we made! Drew made the whole process so easy! I can’t wait to go back! Today, my coworkers and I spontaneously decided we needed to go get tattoos (and a nose piercing) We looked up a bunch of places nearby and this shop came up. I messaged them on Instagram to see if they’d have availability for us and we got lucky!! We showed up and were immediately greeted by (I believe it was) Dalton. We all had a kind of general idea of what we were looking to get, but we were grateful for the expert opinions of the artists. I personally walked in with like 8 ideas of what I wanted, but we narrowed it down pretty quick. We were kindly advised on placement and what would heal best. I worked directly with Drew and he blew my inspiration photo out of the water. He was so kind and such a fun artist to work with. The piece we did today has quickly become my favorite! After my tattoo was done I was running out of time but I still wanted my nose pierced. I walked in and James was so quick and efficient getting it done in like two minutes. He went over aftercare so I was informed, but he didn’t waste any time. I will 100% be back. This was hands down my best experience in a tattoo shop!

I got a conch piercing and I absoultley loved how my piercer listened to me in regards to placement. And I was left with the cutest little conch piercing!!! I've gotten so many compliments on it. I also have to say that as a nurodivergent individual finding a tattoo and piercing shop that dosent overwhelm my noise sensitivity is a huge plus.

While this may sound like a little thing, it was a big deal for her--she is mildly autistic and is very sensitive. This was something she has been wanting to do for a while, something very important to her and her self-expression, and yet she was still very nervous. I mention all of this because James, the piercer, was great. He was incredibly patient--he answered all of her questions and had a very calming presence for her. He even offered a beanie baby for her to hold while she got the piercing :) She went through it and now keeps looking at her new jewelry in the mirror. She's very happy, and so am I. I highly recommend this shop for piercing!

Experiencia positiva: I had a no notice walk in appointment and while the wait was a bit long they were very accommodating and they had books of tattoo art to skim through while waiting. I also witnessed the front desk lady deny a woman of a piercing while I was there. I dont know much of piercings, however, she explained to the woman that it was not possible/ very unhealthy for her to do so. To me that is very important, any shop can do what you wish, but a good shop will tell you if it is unhealthy or not recommended. I give her/ the shop props.

Experiencia fantástica: We walked in for matching tattoos in February. Not only did John design our tattoos quickly, he got them all completed quickly and nicely! All 3 are consistent and the line work doesn’t need any touch ups. All in all we were in and out within 2 hours for three tattoos, designs, and wait time. Next time we’re in Sacramento we will definitely be back.

Was back this week to get another one with him and honestly super stoked over how both of the pieces came out. Will for sure return in the future and recommend since the staff is cool and they all are amazing. 10/10 service!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to the shop before for a memorial piece I got on my shoulder blade. This time around, I went for a different look with a whole new artist. I didn’t decide on a new artist because I didn’t like the previous one. I loved that one too, but this was just a different style. In all honesty, I was a bit nervous going into the tattoo because I had so many pictures with an idea of what I wanted, but I just didn’t have a set inspiration in front of me like I did with my previous tattoo. I decided to go in and trust the artist. After the consultation, I was still a bit nervous and then had one of the worst weeks in which I got an unfortunate medical diagnosis. Deciding to keep my appointment, I went in and Drew exceeded all of my expectations. He took every Inspiration picture I had and blew it way out of the water. To say I’m happy with his work would be an understatement. Thank you for providing the highlight to what was a bad week. This piece is absolutely gorgeous. Seriously recommend not only this shop, but Drew because his skills are on point. THANK YOU!!

Experiencia fantástica: I decided to get a tattoo spontaneously and saw the tattoo I wanted and Ralph did some changes to it. It turned out perfect it is my sixth tattoo now and I had hardly any pain and it was actually very relaxing! He also touched up another tattoo that needed correcting from another shop. This was my first tattoo and drew did a wonderful job explaining every step of the way to ease any worries I had. My tattoo was a memorial piece to my dad who had passed last year. Drew not only took my ideas and made it into a design I loved, he expressed how honored he was to design and tattoo this for me and treated an emotional situation with great empathy.
