She was even able to squeeze us in same day even though she had a busy day. She also made time to give me some helpful advice and reassurance a week later when I was no longer in the area but concerned about some swelling. I would absolutely go back for another piercing and highly recommend for anyone who wants to make sure they are getting the best care! Thank you Katrina!

Experiencia negativa: After years with working with Kaelyn to complete a sleeve she started ignoring my request for appointments and finding excuses to not make appointments. At this point ive tried every means of contacting her with no response or explanation. I will have to finish my tattoo elsewhere. I definitely didnt expect this and would hope for better professionalism. Update: Kaelyn reached out and asked for a deposit for a appointment. I sent her the money and scheduled a appointment, voicing my concern about the lack of communication before. She canceled my appointment the day it was scheduled and is back to not responding.

She reinserted my belly ring with the absolute most stealth and precision, I literally never felt it. WOMEN IN STEM! Experiencia fantástica: I came here needing to get an new ear lobe piercing replaced with a different piece of jewelry. I got the piercing done at screaming needle and they gave me a generic stud earring that was way to small so it caused my piercing to get infected. The two lady's (receptionist and piercer) at Honest to Goodness were very helpful in answering all my questions, helped me pick out a new earring that was the correct size and shape and also swapped out the old one for me. The place was very clean, I wish I would have gotten my piercing done here first. Definitely will be my new go to if I get more. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my philtrum repierced yesterday at Wicked Ways and the ball came undone and went down the sink when I spit out my mouthwash. I called this shop at 7pm because I’ve gotten nice jewelry here before and they said I could come pick up my new jewelry right away, they even offered to place it 9am the next morning. I thought this was amazing service and the jewelry is AMAZING quality and worth the price.

Experiencia fantástica: I saw Lindsey for my appointment and it was THE BEST piercing appointment I'd ever had! She was so patient and kind. She made sure to understand everything I wanted for my appointment and that I was happy with my jewelry selections. I swapped my nostril piercing, got a new double-nostril piercing, and re-opened(?) my lip piercing. I also have a medical phobia involving needles that I told her about and she was so dang supportive and empathetic. She made sure I was feeling good before I left. I'll be back for a future tattoo appointment for sure, but I'll also be seeing Lindsey for my piercing/jewelry needs. <3 <3 <3

Lindsey was the sweetest and most helpful when doing a correction for my high nostril piercing and gave me so many tricks for having happier and healthier piercings. Her knowledge and customer service make getting something painful done a walk in the park. The selection of high quality jewelry is amazing and slightly overwhelming! She was very nervous and he spent so much time explaining every detail and answering her questions. She made sure to aline the piercings correctly and even took my glasses into account so they would not clank together, compared to other places Honest to Goodness is affordably and professional, everyone there was sweet and lovely to talk to, they showed me how to do after-care in great detail and when to come back to resize my piercing, I was nervous but they made the experience wonderful and as painless as possible. Experiencia fantástica: I just recently had my septum pierced here and I have to say it was an awesome experience! Up until that point I hadn’t had any other piercings besides my lobes (which I had done when I was a baby) so this was going to be my first piercing in about 18 years of not getting pierced. I got it done by Lindsey and she was absolutely phenomenal! I have a lower pain tolerance and so I was pretty nervous, and when I get nervous I tend to, at times, talk a lot. I was asking Lindsey question after question about the piercing procedure, what she was using, anatomy for septums, etc. Just question after question and she answered all of them with a smile and the patience of an angel I swear! She was eager to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable. She talked me through what was going to happen and made sure I was ok after it was all said and done. My piercing is a bit crooked but it’s nothing noticeable from the front, only if you’re looking up my nose. I was told I have a small variation in my septum so that could’ve possibly been done to accommodate for my anatomy being a bit off. All in all it was truly an amazing experience. The interior is beautiful, all the staff are so kind and welcoming, and I can definitely see myself coming back for more piercings here…and possibly my first tattoo somewhere down the road :))

Since I went to a sketchy place the last time, I wanted to be sure I knew what I was getting into. I emailed their piercing team to see when I could get scheduled for my septum, and they called me the following day to set something up. The shop was immaculately clean, they have a massive jewelry selection, and George was absolutely great. He made sure to walk me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable with everything. I met their apprentice as well, and she was very nice and she seemed excited to learn. I appreciated that George actually took the time to make sure my piercing was lined up correctly, and made sure that I was happy with the placement and the jewelry before everything got started. I couldn’t be happier with how my septum looks, and I’ve recommended this shop to a few of my friends who are looking to get other piercings. Thanks guys! I hope to see y’all again soon!

I live in Maryland and always book a session when I’m in town because I know that George will give me a piercing that I love and that looks amazing. He was even willing to squeeze me in for a separate jewelry issue (my own fault) on a fully booked day and took the time to show me how to fix the issue in the future. He takes his time when marking out the piercings to make sure the placement will look good, heal well, and is exactly what I envision. I honestly wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to do my antitragus. Can’t wait to book more appointments next time I’m in the state!

Experiencia negativa: I contacted Spencer Watson over a week ago about a tattoo. He sent me information and I sent the deposit within minutes of receiving the text. I was told I would receive what appointments where open “shortly.” A day and half later after reaching out after 24 hours, I was given some options (red flag #1). A part of the first text I received said that I would see a sketch “day of w plenty of time to make adjustments,” but that never happened (red flag #2). It was 70 minutes before my appointment when I received a text message saying that he was 2 hours behind schedule (red flag #3) and that was the final straw. If my mom hadn’t fell and gotten and unexpected concussion, I might have been able to make the 2 hour difference work, but at that point, I didn’t feel confident in thinking that this artist was interested in doing the work at all. I asked for my depot back and I did get it with an odd message from him. I’m not sure if he was a bragging that he filled my spot, trying to make it an insult, or trying to make me feel badly, but it was unnecessary and uncalled for. I myself am an artist and while I am not a tattooist, I am very familiar with client relations and this whole experience was beyond unprofessional. I have been on both sides of the fence and know that both parties (usually) want a successful transaction. I did not expect this kind of behavior from someone who according to their bio has been tattooing for 14 years. Ultimately I felt like my time was waisted and I feel like other people and the business itself should be aware of this kind of business practices. They have other great artists, but unfortunately after this experience, I will not be returning.

Had my nostril repierced after an unpleasant experience elsewhere. Lindsey was very sympathetic, kind, informative, and made the process way smoother and comfortable than the first time I went through it elsewhere. Thorough explanation before and after the piercing. Given a little pamphlet (picture) about care and approx. when to return. Very hopeful this time around for my nose to heal. The prices may be "expensive", you won't find their quality of care and jewlery anywhere in town. Will be back for future piercings!

Be prepared to spend a higher price but with that comes quality jewelry and an extremely professional experience! I may need to schedule a booking for a new tattoo!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I got my angel bites done by Lindsey and it was the best experience I've ever had in a shop!! They did an amazing job at making me feel safe, comfortable and supported. They also did a great job at distracting me with humor! Overall the best experience I've had getting a piercing. This is the only place ill be going to for peirceings from now on and the only peircer I'll be going to in the the future!

Experiencia fantástica: Lindsey did a double forward helix and a cartilage piercing for me. She was kind, efficient, and her technique was incredible! Lindsey paid attention to where the piercings would look the best and talked me through the entire process. I will definitely be going back for more!

Experiencia negativa: I thought I had a great experience here, getting into the building and waiting was a bit weird (I had an appointment but when waiting no one would answer the phone and I had come in with other customers and then proceeded to again wait over 30 minutes inside the building) I got my septum done by the female piercer, I forgot her name, and while piercing almost upside down was weird I just went with it as it was my first time getting it done. She was so friendly and it healed decently so I thought no problems. While healing I thought it looked a bit big and was placed a bit weird (farther back from my friends, I could never get it to sit straight, etc.) but I figured it was my nose shape and just went with it. Now into September when I’m good to get it resized, I went to screaming needle in allendale (I’m at college so made the most sense) and I wanted to resize since I figured that’s why it say so weird. The piercer at SN immediately looked at it and was like… That’s really odd placement. It’s more on the center of your nose, crooked both sideways and back, and asked how I flipped it up. He asked because even flipped up you could see it due to the way it was in the middle of my nose. I ended up getting it repierced today and it looks a million times better and is was a less painful piercing and is more comfortable both up and down. I’m overall just disappointed as I asked these concerns the day I got my initial piercing at honest to goodness and was told it was normal, that my nose was slightly crooked and deviated (piercer at screaming needle denied this and even showed me his deviated septum to show how mine isn’t) and that it’s as straight as possible. Crazy how I spent $50 at honest to goodness thinking I was going to a better shop(nothing against SN, just always was told honest to goodness was a more high end, higher quality shop) and ended up having to spend the $25 at SN to get it fixed after feeling like I was nuts for the whole summer. On top of that, she used a ridiculously sized ring (I can’t remember what size he had said but he said it was a size that unless you want your piercings very large don’t do it) and it was externally threaded. I do have a large sweet spot, and heal easily from piercings, hence why it healed at all.

Experiencia negativa: I called 3x. Then when the piercing lady came she never called me. I set in the waiting room forever. I looked through the door and still no help. Communication was horrible. First time here and will be my last. Waited an hr to take out a ring. Couldn’t get it re pierced

Experiencia fantástica: Lindsey is great! She pierced my septum. She is very knowledgeable and let me know exactly what was going to happen from beginning to end. No surprises. Very clean environment and the cleaning prep before the piercing was exceptional. Jewelry itself is very expensive BUT that's to be expected at any higher end piercing shop because higher quality is what is best for your skin (not all people understand that) so you get exactly what you pay for. They have a lot of options and they're very pretty. Jewelry is also sterilized in house. I've been to other higher end piercing shops and I have quite a few unique piercings and this overall is one of the best experiences I've had. The other staff there seemed friendly as well. Definitely will be back :)

Experiencia fantástica: A few years ago my sister and I got our matching tattoos done at HTG. They turned out great and we still love them! We just went back for a couple piercings and had the pleasure of working with George. He was INCREDIBLE. He answered every question we had, followed all cleanliness procedures, and most importantly made us feel safe. I would 1000% recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing done in the GR area.

I normally have issues with piercings getting irritated, this one doesn’t even feel or seem like I just got it done. No bleeding, no crusting. I highly recommend ☝️
