Experiencia fantástica: I came here to get a nipple piercing replaced on a whim with no appointment. I've heard some weird stuff about this company from word-of-mouth that made me hesitant to go here for years. But I had an issue that needed resolved and the location on 13th is within walking distance so i tried it out. The experience I had was nothing but calm and warm and welcoming. Especially with something as nerve wracking as replacing 10+ year old nipple bars. The person at the counter was nice and professional, the person who did my replacement was super nice and professional. They tried their best to remove my bars, the gems on my bars busted, they were apologetic and super professional about it. Great experience overall. The price was MORE than fair. The bars they gave me seemed long at first until my anatomy relaxed and they are now the PERFECT length. They probably have no idea how much relief they provided me and in turn the self confidence and ongoing comfort that the piercer's attention to detail and choice of bar size gave me. Thanks guys

Experiencia negativa: I rarely ever make reviews but unfortunately after being local regulars to the high priestess's in Eugene we will not be returning. Visited many times with my mother as a tradition it was disappointing to have a special moment between us getting ruined by a piercer mentioning their criminal record, insulting my mothers appearance repeatedly and expressed that they did not feel comfortable with their piercing abilities and went on to pierce. I gave the business another shot. Though when I received an incorrect size of jewelry on piercer error the manager was unwelcoming to discuss options. I requested a return at first which is mentioned they do not accept and I understood. Though when I received a response that refunds are not accepted I was deeply confused since this is not mentioned nor stated in the receipt's disclaimer. I feel that it is reasonable to receive reimbursement after trusting a business's expertise and suffering from its actions. Being offered I could give them more money for a replacement I am now overall reluctant to think that this business cares about you, your individuality, your safety, and not just your money.

Experiencia negativa: I would never recommend coming here. I have permanent scars from getting my belly pierced. I will never be able to re- do it because I have permanent scaring. I would recommend going anywhere else other than here.

I’ve gone on three separate occasions and had a different piercer each time, but they were all so nice and explained how to care for each piercing very clearly. Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely loved my experiences here! I have gotten seven piercings here—all have healed amazingly. They always have a great vibe and are very friendly! This last time I went in, I got three piercings with Liam. He was great at looking at the anatomy of my ear and what would work for me with my flat piercings, which I love so much. I knew there wasn’t a lot to work with, but we were able to talk about everything and find something that worked. Absolutely love this place—they are extremely thoughtful, and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Experiencia negativa: I got my belly pierced last October (2024) and my initial experience was amazing. However, I had to go in 2 months after I had gotten my piercing to get a longer bar put in and I was so grateful because Bunny had let me go that day free of any charge for the new jewelry or installation. After 3 more months went by I came back to have my original bar put back in. Turns out the longer bar I had put in was a gauge almost twice the size of my original bar. I don’t believe it was even jewelry for a belly piercing. After that one was taken out the top of my piercing widened and it took almost 4 months for the skin to heal there. When the skin finally did heal, it pushed my piercing down to the point I had to remove it. In total I spent $200 for this piercing and from now on I will be going somewhere that pays attention and isn’t in such a hurry they give a customer the wrong jewelry.

All the staff was great and had lovely welcoming personalities. I just had a jewelery swap so I can't say anything about the piercing itself but the staff was great.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been here 4 times and spent over a thousand dollars on piercings and jewelry at this point but will not be returning. Staff is incredibly rude 3/4 times I’ve come in. They also expect you to already know how to care exactly for your piercing without giving any instructions. I am not a piercer and was not aware there is different after care procedures for different piercings. I feel at this point they don’t say anything so you’ll be forced to come back and spend more money with them. I’m so upset with my experience and the way I was treated. They are not helpful and just made me feel dumb for not knowing certain things. Don’t go here unless you are an expert already in taking care of piercings.

I went to them for my nipples, and realized I didn't have enough for the jewelry, and they were able to help me with a discount so I could have my piercings, and the one who did the piercing, Kenny, is awesome. They're very chatty, and allowed lots of freedom in where, and how I wanted the piercings. We talked about what each little marking line meant, and they walked me through the steps of marking, self checking, pieecing, and jewelry inserting, and we talked about the purse I brought with me, and my art, including the boots I painted, and after care for my nipples. They all work with you, and make sure you're getting the piercing *you* want for your body, love them.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had such amazing experiences at High Priestess with Clash for tattoos. One walk in and one custom piece. Clash is one of two artists I trust with art on my body. Clash created the exact image I had in mind for an original tattoo and then elevated the piece to real artwork. He is the most collaborative artist I’ve worked with. The latest tattoo was excruciating but he made it as comfortable as possible. I’ve never been to a shop where everyone is so kind. I was greeted and treated like an old friend even though I’ve only had two tattoos here. From the staff to the shop itself and the art; I can’t say enough good things. It’s the warmest environment for tattoos I’ve ever been at. Highly recommend Clash, especially if you are new to tattoos. Not only will you get an amazing piece but his bedside manner is bar none. Can’t wait to collaborate on more artwork as soon as I’m healed!

She walked me through every step of the process, reducing my nervousness. I was also helped by Bird at the counter who assisted me in picking out my jewelry and checked me out after my piercings. Again, a great experience with them too--patient, helpful, knowledgeable, kind. Overall I would highly recommend getting pierced here!

Experiencia fantástica: 12/26/24 I walked in earlier today to inquire about a downsizing for my existing helix piercing. I was informed that they would have time in a couple of hours to downsize my jewelry, so I set up the appointment and left. The girl at the front desk (I feel like a jerk for not getting her name) was super kind and helpful. 20 minutes before my appointment, I decided to ask if they would have time while I was there for a conch piercing. She was able to change my appointment and get me set up for that as well. When I arrived and checked in, she helped me pick a piece of jewelry that complimented my existing jewelry in the helix. My piercer was Kenny. He was also extremely kind and welcoming and helped me find the perfect placement for the new piercing. He even lent me a charger (I really have to stop forgetting to charge my phone!) The downsizing and new piercing took maybe 20 minutes. It was a little spicier than the helix, but all in all was not bad. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic, and I will definitely be back for all future piercings.

My only complaint was I had booked an appointment in advance so I wouldn't have to wait too long but I got there 15 minutes early and still had to wait an additional 45 minutes after my appointment time all because they were taking walk-ins (who got there before me) before my appointment which defeats the whole purpose of reserving a time slot beforehand. Found it really annoying. This was a while ago and it looked shortstaffed so I can understand a delay but you still prioritize appointments over walk-ins. I'll still go here but if I see another walk-in have priority over my reserved time, I won't go here again.

Experiencia negativa: This shop is for piercings more than tattoos. Scheduled an appointment with Zoe on the 15th of November for a tattoo that I was willing to pay up to $1500 for her to do. Scheduled an appointment for a consultation for the 1st at her schedule’s convenience. I drove 45 minutes to get there, sat for a half hour, then walked out after her receptionist couldn’t reach her by phone the 2 times she called. I was able to check my email at 5:30 to find she’d sent a cancellation notice at 3:51, 33 minutes before our appointment. I emailed Zoe for a refund of my deposit, stated I have no faith in her as a professional tattoo artist and would not be willing to reschedule. She did immediately refund the deposit. I understand having things come up, but tell your receptionist what’s going on so they can relay the message to the client before they get angry and walk out. Not everyone is glued to their email.

Experiencia negativa: My wife & I came in to get 2 small & simple matching tattoos. The artist (Clash Knox) sketched up what they had in mind, and we had a few revisions requests (straightening up the text & making the spacing between words/letters even). While waiting, we heard the artist say “ugh, this is gonna a pain in the a**” in the back room, after which the front desk person came to us and asked us to return the next day. This was only after asking for a 2nd revision. We did not return the next day - that’s absolutely not the attitude we want from someone who’ll permanently etch something into our bodies. In addition, we were looking for a local artist who could do some more complex work on us in the future. I wonder how he reacts when someone asks for a more complex tattoo. While a bit more anecdotal, it’s also worth mentioning we’ve heard from multiple people that High Priestess is not a favorite amongst the tattoo artist community. They’re an expanding chain of tattoo shops - not saying that’s a bad thing, but tbh 100% local is more my vibe

I was honestly still a little nervous about it and skeptical about whether or not she could hold still. She instantly connected with Kenny. Experiencia fantástica: My kid has been begging me to get her ears pierced forever now and I totally wanted that for her! That being said, she is 6 and the last time we went to get her vaccines (she was 4 at the time) I was holding her arms as tightly as I could but she still somehow used her brute strength to free her arms, grab the needle and rip it out of her leg - bending the needle in the process. She’s been pretty NOT COOL with needles ever since - along with not being good with pain in the first place. Well, she was asking me again to get them done this evening and a friend of mine had recommended High Priestess so I decided to give them a call. The human on the phone was super informative and kind and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I ended up just packing my kid up and heading there at that very moment. I cannot understate how glad I am that we ended up taking my kid here for her first piercings. Samantha is so respectful, patient and kind. My daughter gets nervous about everything, ever and I assumed she would be having an absolute meltdown at the anticipation of getting her ears pierced but SOMEHOW Samantha was able to keep her comfortable and at ease. I feel like she went out of her way to explain to my daughter that she wouldn’t do anything my daughter was afraid to do. She took the time and energy to establish trust with her (I mean like as much as you can 10 minutes after meeting someone) and it made a world of a difference. The whole thing went so smoothly and my kid didn’t scream or cry… nothing. She cries just from brushing her own hair sometimes - like it was a miracle. There was definitely some type of Mr. Miyagi healing magic in there or something. Listen this ended up being really long but if you’re nervous about getting pierced, or PARTICULARLY if you have a kid that is - GO HERE. You won’t regret it.

Experiencia negativa: We went to High Priestess a week ago to get a simple jewelry change a day after a major surgery and had the absolute WORST experience. First, we bought plastic jewelry from them and got home and there were no backs on the jewelry. So they were a waste of money. Then we decided to go in and get the jewelry replaced from plastic to original piercings and were told to come in because they had time for us. We got there and were told we needed an ID, which they didn’t tell us on the phone the three times we talked. So I had to drive home to get ID (even though we weren’t getting a piercing but just getting jewelry replaced). That was A LOT of extra pain post surgery. Then we drove back to the shop and waited a FULL HOUR even though we couldn’t sit down from the pain from surgery. At no point did the two people working there say “you can come in late when we have room” or “wait in the car” or “let’s make an appointment”. They both said to come in because there was room for us. So we waited an hour, in pain, not sitting, and finally came back and it took all of 15 minutes to get the jewelry replaced. We were asked too personal questions by two different people, which is unprofessional. All in all, we had to pay $50 and it took 2 hours, which was cruel and unkind. I will never go there again. I will not recommend this shop to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Another horrible experience at this shop. Seams like every time I walk in no matter who it is the person is irritated that I came in to have them do something. This time I went in to simply get a piece of jewelry inserted. She seamed aggressive in telling us that she was "about to lock the door before we came in" ...."we're all taking lunch and it state law she said" she couldn't help me for several more hours. It was 3pm. This place used to be the place to go to. Seams like since ownership changed the current owners don't care how the staff treats customers. Won't be going back

Experiencia fantástica: I did a double conch today and I'm just so happy with the whole experience! First of all, Bird greeted me in a very proffesional and friendly way and started to discuss my piercing by looking at photos I had saved on my phone and showed me jewelry options and discussed prices with me which was super helpfull! She also observed it was time for downsizing my tragus piercing (which was way over due) which was very service minded! Next up was the actual piercing moment with Samantha. She also took her time to listen to my needs and look at pictures and explaining things from her piercer point of view. She talked me through the whole process and showed me how the jewelry worked in case I needed to take it out by myself. So proffesional! The double conches I made did not hurt so bad (shockingly little from what I was expecting) and afterwards Samantha went through the aftermath and how to proper take care of my new piercings. I felt so safe and well treated all the time! Already looking forward to new projects with Samantha in the future! Bonus points for letting me have my mental support (aka my husband) with me! Would highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve gotten 3 piercings here and they have messed up all three of them. They rushed through the process and did not make my friend and I feel comfortable at all. They pierced me with the wrong gauge and put a different size bar in. And she did it the wrong way. I went in to get it fixed and then they tried to charge me for what they messed up. I may Have to get re pierced because it was done wrong. All My piercings were done by Bunny. I do not recommend this place at all. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I highly advise going elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my bridge piercing done here. Super professional place, everyone inside is very knowledgeable and I couldn't be happier with my piercing.

Experiencia negativa: Got a conch piercing and the back they used was way too small. Shortly after the piercing happened (1.5 weeks later) my ear swelled over the piercing completely. I scheduled to come in to have them help me, and the piercer shoved the piercing through with his hands, his gloves covered in blood, and then charged me $30 for a longer back. I tried to advocate for myself that this didn't feel fair. $30 is a lot for me right now and I wish they would have just helped me without more charges

Experiencia fantástica: Piercing was for my daughter. Her statement "Very clean and talked me through the procedure as I got my navel piercing." For me, they were Reasonably priced (~$150 for piercing, cleaning, and jewelry), efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend.

I was thrilled to book a guest artist appointment with such a high caliber of talent as Steven Lopez and Steven gave me an exquisite black and grey portrait tattoo that I'm in love with. I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time I was there. The heated room was a nice touch. Getting a tattoo is one of the best self-care actions you can do for yourself. Always do research and go to a professional artist.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my piercing done by Stephanie and they were so lovely and made me feel very comfortable. My piercing (industrial) has been healing so well and it is definitely because it was pierced so well. I was worried because I have weirdly shaped ears but it turned out perfectly and is healing so well. :) Everyone there is super sweet and know what they’re doing.

Experiencia negativa: This place advertised walk in welcome an I was so. Vacation with enough time to spare I had walked in I asked for 3 small tattoos which consisted of 4 small dots on each there was maybe an hour left. I was refused I was on a siblings trip an very sad it was a last minute choice n I was told no. Not happy.

Experiencia negativa: I called about getting a “photo-realistic” piece done. An artist by the name of “Ray” was recommended to me. I showed him what I wanted and he said it seemed too tricky for his expertise. I asked if there were other artists that could do it and he said no. He told me to go follow his instagram page to see his other “work”. I asked about doing something else entirely. He then asked what my availability would be but that he would be busy around the 10th of September. I gave him some other dates to see if that would be okay; none of those dates worked either. He never responded back and I felt totally ignored. In fact, I felt like I was being blown off the entire interaction I had with “Ray”. I’ve never been treated like this by an artist before. I’m really disappointed as I really wanted to give this place a chance.

Experiencia fantástica: I walked in to get information and they took care of everything I needed! They changed out an irritated cartilage piercing, and Zoe O'dana added the final butterfly to my tattoo. The others were done out of state, and hers is my favorite!! I can't wait to show it off! The blackout effect on the last picture is just fluid collection under the "second skin" that's used for quicker, easier healing. I'm showing it, because I think it's cool and fun!

Experiencia negativa: I went and got my labret pierced in December the room was crowed full of employees which was extremely stressful we got the piercing lined up perfectly and she pierced it wayyy lower than the mark and it’s off center and pierced at angle so the jewelry keeps getting caught on things which is making it not heal I can not remove the jewelry because it’s pierced too low I’m just mad I waisted 95 dollars

The counter staff were super friendly and inviting. They have TONS of jewelry to pick from as well. Holly really made the whole process seamless and stress free. 10/10 would recommend

Experiencia negativa: Boo go back to Kickapoo , and be nicer and less condescending. I would have loved to spend some money on a new beautiful piece , if I wasn’t met with short responses and treated like I haven’t had my body modified for 15+years because I needed a specific post leghnth . I don’t know everything there is to BM and sure that’s what YOU'RE paid for , but no need to look down your nose at the farm hand . Not returning , save the apologetics, it’s unnecessary. It looks like in your reviews the same complaint has been made and futile responses of working on the staff have clearly not been addressed. You have been in business for quite sometime so clearly you have cliental , seems like they may be bullied into buying , pressured by the purists .

Samantha did such a perfect job on my daughter's ear piercings, talked her through the whole session and was very through with explaining it to us both! She made her feel so comfortable and the piercings are perfect and beautiful! Thank you guys so much for being so awesome!!

Experiencia fantástica: They were so kind and patient with me! This was my first tattoo and I couldn't have picked a better place. On top of the wonderful atmosphere my tattoo turned out perfect! The artist who did my tat was Zoe O'Dana and she did an amazing job! I really couldn't have asked for a better experience, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking to get a high quality tattoo!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service! Got my nose pierced by Bunny, she's amazing! Very professional, put me at ease. The person at the counter who rang me up and helped me pick out my jewelery was awesome, too! If I decide to get pierced again, will definitely be coming back to High Priestess Eugene Campus. Head's up, parking gets a little squishy with all the hubbub in the area.
