Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience today while getting my dermal piercing. Everyone I came into contact with was very nice and the lady that did my piercing was so kind, patient and explained everything step by step!

Experiencia fantástica: Got a conch piercing here with Lexie and had an amazing experience. She is amazing! She also helped me change out jewelry on other piercings that hadn't been healing well and they healed like a dream after. Would always come back here to get another piercing.

Experiencia negativa: It's pretty sad how far this shop has fallen in the last few years. I came in today to purchase a septum ring, I already have the piercing, just needed the ring. Was told the piercer would be out in a minute since the kid at the counter didn't know the price. Waited for probably 15 minutes for the piercer to come out. They decided to help a walk in who came in long after me to talk about a nose piercing they wanted to get first, after I have been sitting there patiently. I just walked out at that point. Seems hard to screw up simply selling a metal ring, but here we are. Save your time and go to body art gallery or mystic union.

Experiencia fantástica: I drive 4 hrs to get a tattoo from here. I love their work. I get mine done by Todd. I love his work. A lot of people ask me why I drive four hours it’s because I know where to go to get the best work done. All of the artists here are great. Every one of them have very unique skills. I definitely would recommend anyone to go there. The atmosphere is great. The people that work there are awesome. And some really good conversations. Thanks again, Todd you’re awesome

Experiencia fantástica: Me and my mom both got pierced by Lexie, and it was flipping AMAZING!! she was so soft spoken and gentle!! I got my nose done, and I had it done previously by another shop, and this time was by far less painful than when I got it pierced before! I couldn't recommend this place more!

Experiencia positiva: My first experience was good, I went back in 2022 when I got my navel pierced. My piercer was friendly, walked me through the whole process and did a great job. My more recent experience was only ok. I got my eyebrow pierced back in October. My piercer didn’t really talk to me or smile or anything besides basic rundown of how to care for my piercing which was whatever, but now that my eyebrow piercing has healed multiple different piercers have told me that it’s too shallow if you’re getting an eyebrow piercing just be careful I guess.

Experiencia fantástica: Just went in for a walk in nostril piercing, she did a great job talking to me about it, the piercing was quick and smooth. It felt very clean and organized here I liked it a lot.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had two experiences here in the past couple weeks and both were amazing. My 8 year old daughter had her ears pierced and the entire process was so great. We were in and out quickly and my daughter felt comfortable and had minimal anxiety through the entire process. Today my best friend and I had the pleasure of getting matching tattoos done by Brooklyn. She did an amazing job and we both love how they turned out. I will definitely come back in the future!

Experiencia negativa: When I walked in initially I got passed around to 3 different artists and was told my tattoo would be easy to do. Then when I told them how I wanted it done they said they wouldn’t be able to do that. I respect if they couldn’t do it and said that but that’s not what I was told. Then the artist who was going to do it was very off putting and when I told her to kind of put a spin on it something that she could be creative with I was told there is nothing creative about what I wanted. So then I found someone who was willing to do my tattoo the way I wanted and I didn’t want to lose my 50 dollar deposit so I will admit on my end the day of I switched it up but tried to be nice and say I found someone else to do it but if there is something you have drawn and would like to tattoo I would be down. Stood there for about 30 minutes basically being told everything that I wanted done she couldn’t or wouldn’t do or that it would take too much time. I’m here to spend money right? I brought 600 dollars to spend. So then I felt rushed and kind of bullied and I just found a random one online and got that done. Now while I have a high pain tolerance I have to say she dug into my arm deep and it’s now infected and she did put a spin on it and messed up on one of the characters which was supposed to be sally from nightmare before Christmas but in reality it looks like ET. but my arm almost two weeks later is scabbed and bruised and it hurts. Apparently from 15 years ago when I got my first tattoos done there to now it has drastically changed. At the end of the day it was just an overall bad experience for me and I just feel like I got a rush job on something that will be with me forever. Completely unprofessional and lack basic customer service skills. I’m not trying to bash the artist per say because the tattoo itself isn’t bad but it’s scabbed and bruised and she botched sally. I had very high expectations to start my tattoo journey again with the place I started out with years ago when Whitey and Half-pint were there but I will not be back and if my arm had healed up as it should have by now and she didn’t mess up a permanent thing that is going to be wild to try and fix I would have never wrote this review.

Experiencia fantástica: I lost my boyfriend in Nov of 2024 and before his passing we talked about getting a tattoo together from a group citizen soldier with lyrics of one of their songs that meant something to both of us. We love their music and it was so hard to decide and unfortunately Adam passed away before we could get our tattoo. Since his passing I knew I wanted to get lyrics of two songs that meant something to both of us I just couldn’t decide exactly what part of the lyrics was best. I went to Marvel on Tuesday when they opened, I couldn’t wait any longer. I met an artist there Larry who helped put my vision together and me being emotional didn’t bother him. Larry was very professional and let me take the time I needed to get through my emotions and was even able to fit me in at that moment. If you are looking to get some work done rather it’s your first or not I would highly recommend Marvel! I would suggest going and asking for Larry, you won’t be disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve thought long and hard about leaving this review. I didn’t want to at first but honestly I’ve just been so disappointed with this shop for the last few years. The only thing that keeps us coming at all was the piercer and unfortunately I don’t know her name, all I know is that she’s had a kid recently. Even then, I’m not wanting to come back anymore. I’ve seen Brooklyn and Larry for tattoos and I didn’t like my experience with either. Brooklyn never seems personable and quite honestly never seems to be in a happy mood. Having been tattooed by her a couple times and them being visible, she never even seems to try to remember me. When Larry tattooed me he was already seeming very uninterested and when I mentioned the couple places I’d like to have the tattoo, he complained about each space and basically I was left to having him choose. He spoke to me as if I had no idea about tattoos and placements and it was disappointing bc it was a tattoo for my grandmother who has passed away. He barely spoke to me at all during the appointment and only showed a tiny bit of kindness when he saw how much I had tipped him. He was rude, uninterested and really wasn’t personable. I went to get my nipples pierced and all I know is that she was younger and I believe had dark hair. She was very kind and quite honestly the only other person aside from the other piercer to be kind to us right off the bat. Although she was kind, she pierced my nipple crooked and had me lay down for the piercing. I’ve had my nipples done before and I’ve never had to lie down to have them pierced. She pierced it more so on the actual areola and it’s been so painful during the healing process. With it being crooked and basically swallowed by areola and nipple the jewelry has been getting stuck and the cleaning of it hurts. I paid $109 for them to be done and it was easily the most painful repiercing I’ve ever had. I have also been in the shop while the staff/artists were talking about a few customers that had come into the shop. If they said what they said about the customers I’m truly scared to find out what’s been said about me after I’ve left. It’s taken me a long time and a lot of thought to post this and maybe the shop and its stuff will rethink their behavior and work ethic as well as customer service once this finds them.

Experiencia fantástica: Larry did an incredible job with my Lion of Judah tattoo. He listened to what I wanted and then drew it out. He even took the time to ask me what kind of crown I wanted. The linework was awesome, and I appreciated the multiple sizes and options for placement. Easily one of the easiest and laid back tattoo appointments I've ever had. I am so happy with how it looks. There was no bleeding, minimal swelling and pain. It is healing so well. Also the store was clean and professional but they still seemed like they were having fun.

We took our 6 year old to get her lobes pierced for her birthday. She said the girls made her feel very special and super cool (; Thank you ladies! They even gave her a PINK SPARKLY bag with her after care + some little trinkets that totally eased her after the piercing. Highly reccomend for first timers and enthusiasts alike.

They are very clean and professional, and Brooklyn, the artist I've gotten both tattoos from, has done a a great job twice now! She assisted in designing both tattoos and is great with communication.

Experiencia negativa: I came in to get a matching tattoo with my sister and got charged $90 each for tattoos smaller than my pinky. The artist smelled bad and had no manners and the lines in my tattoo were to be scanned like a link, but are not straight so the code doesn’t work.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and I made an appointment for two small tattoos about a month prior. So when we both arrived early the customer service sucked as soon we walked into the business. Everyone just stares at you and no one introduces themselves. Then a young female employee behind the counter by the name Brooklyn said “Hi” in a rude tone. Almost like we were bothering her just by walking in. We communicated that we were there for our appointment and again she was snarky and rude. After we showed what we wanted (which was a small quote) she came back later and had the words completely wrong and after I pointed out she had it wrong she rolled her eyes and walked away. Once she returned she finally had the quote correct. Now I want to express here that I’m not wanting a grand entrance or anything special but when you are in a business interacting with the public you should hire people with interpersonal communication skills and make them feel welcome. This was by far not what we got from the moment we walked in to the time we left. During the tattoo appointment she didn’t talk to us or try to make conversation with us only kept speaking to the other tattoo artist next to her station. Which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. We tried to talk to her and make conversation and she didn’t want anything to do with it. We tried to ask her about her golf cart tattoo and we went as far as trying to ease the unwanted tension with joining in on the conversation with her and her co worker. AGAIN she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Our tattoos were both very small and Brooklyn still managed to miss a word in the quote. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TATTOO SHOP WHAT SO EVER. We will never be returning back and regret going. And we will be expressing the dissatisfaction with locals and else where.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to get a Naval piercing for my 16th birthday (walk in) and it went so smooth and was overall an amazing experience and I will go back for more. My blood sugar kept dropping when I stood up and I almost passed out a few times and the women there were so awesome and took care of me so well and were so nice. It looks awesome and the place was very clean.

Experiencia fantástica: I had my tongue pierced at a different studio in the area. By the 2nd day, the swelling was out growing the bar they put in. On day 4 I was in so much pain that I called them to ask for a longer bar. They said they didn’t have any so I called around and found Marvel. Marvel switched the bar out for me and the relief was literally instant!! They said that the original bar (put in by the other studio) was even a bit shorter than a “healed” bar. I’m so glad marvel was able to help and I’ll definitely be back in the future!! They know this business. Highly recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Marvel for years. This time, my kiddo got his ears pierced. I wanted him to come here, especially for his first experience, because they always make you feel comfortable. The place is always super clean, and these folks here know what they are doing!

Experiencia negativa: Got my lobes pierced here and the lady put the butterfly backs wayyyy too tight. I thought she'd know that they obviously need room for swelling but she didn't know. I told her that and she said I was wrong... so a few days later they got super irritated and infected because of the tightness. I went to Body Art Gallery and told them I got them done at Marvel and they said almost everyone that goes to Marvel for a piercing goes to Body Art Gallery to fix their issues that Marvel caused... so yeah I'm never going back to Marvel!

Experiencia negativa: Too ridged are their appointment times they will only do piercings for minors on Saturday. That does not allow for any scheduling flexibility.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend Anna ver heerden I went there to get my ear pierced by Anna, and she was very unprofessional and unsanitary about a week later since i got my ears pierced from her, it became infected, and i had to go to the hospital three times to get my ear, flushed out and looked at it got worse and worse as the days would come. I would highly not recommend this company to anybody that is looking to get a good tattoo or piercing very unprofessional staff and unsanitary inside the place. They did not make me feel welcomed and i got my ears pierced. They treat you like you’re nobody and all I seen was dirty gloves laying around, so God knows what else could be unsanitary in that place.

If I get any more tattoos I'll get them here

Experiencia negativa: This place was recommended by a couple friends. I checked multiple places for the availability of this facility, all of which showed it being open on Sundays. I find it highly unprofessional to not use the means which they have (website and social media) to notify potential customers of being closed during their regular business hours. I read many reviews that stated customer service was poor even if the product was high quality. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest others do the same.

Experiencia negativa: Positives first: very clean environment in a great easy accessible location. That's really the only postive thing I can say about this place. My artist of choice there was estaban. When we first started communicating it was through whatsapp which was in his bio on instagram. He was very responsive at first and I meet him the next day at the shop to discuss the design I wanted. Everything was good I set up an appointment a couple weeks in adavnce and put a deposit down which is non refundable. A couple of days after I set up my appointment I wanted to change my design I originally wanted. I called the shop and they said to stop in and talk to estaban and I did. He said to email him and he would let me know if the original price would change which was fine. So about a week went by and I sent a follow up email with no response. I then followed up AGAIN via email and no response again. Then the day before my appointment I then contacted him via whatsapp which was our original way of communication and NO RESPONSE, I had followed up 3 times vis email and 2 times through whatsapp and nothing Very unprofessional and lack of communication which is not okay to your customer base. I then did not show up for my appointment and FORFEITED my deposit of $50. Really had high hopes for marvel and sadly I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Impulsively came in to get my nose pierced, there was no wait, they had a lot of options for studs and the piercer Lexie was super helpful and made the experience bearable!! She did a great job too!

I'm sorry I yelped in her face when she shoved that huge needle into my flesh... Lol. I was in and out in less that 20 minutes and I was back at work like nothing happened. Fantastic place!

Experiencia fantástica: We were going to go to still house down the street to get our ears pierced but they didn’t have a piercer in on a really nice Saturday afternoon. Even though they say they take walk ins. But anyways so we went here and both of the girls were sooo nice and fun and not judgy at all. The girl who did our piercings was so nice and professional. Went through piercing care right before and made us feel very comfortable. Their prices are very reasonable. 25 for one lobe, 40 for 2 lobes, and 45 for a cartilage. Anyways! Highly recommend. Very clean as well.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom and I went here to get our ear lobes pierced. I called ahead with some questions about scheduling an appointment and their piercing procedure. We were both able to walk-in, choose a beautiful stud, and see our piercing artist, Anna, within 15 minutes. Anna was SO great. She was very precise about placement and made us feel at ease throughout the whole experience. It was also the best price in the area that I could find! I can’t recommend Marvel enough.

Experiencia negativa: stopped by 20 minutes before close to a locked door and was told i can’t purchase a new septum ring to replace the one that just broke, because the guy behind the counter “only does tattoos”. in all fairness he was counting down the drawer but i would have paid by card. got my septum done here and planned on coming for a tattoo, not anymore.

Experiencia fantástica: Lexington has done both ny nose piercing and now my industrial bar. Neither of them were painful for she is a very skilled and cheerful piercing artist. I highly recommend going here for any body piercing you may want done. Very enjoyable experience! I have visited with the tattoo artist there as well and am looking forward to working with Bill in August!
